: : Great post, Sis. D'vorah!

: : Can you tell me where the word "sh'khinah" occurs in the Hebrew of the Tanakh?

: : I couldn't find anything resembling the word in the Hebrew Dictionary portion of the Strong's Concordance, so I had to assume that the word isn't in the "Old Testament", at least until someone can fill me in.

: Hey Br. Clif,

: The word "Sh'khinah" literally means "the dwelling" and comes from the word "Shakhan" to dwell:

: 07931 shakan {shaw-kan'}

Thanks for the insight D'vorah- I appreciate it.
