Kevin;
The reasoning that says 'after three days' means on the third
day after Yeshua was crucified is a common mistake of those trying to prove a chronology which they have invented. The third day that Yeshua referred to whenever he said that he would rise the third day is the third day of the week, which commences at sundown of what is known in Roman timekeeping as 'monday'. This is the only position that all the scriptures support because it fits according to the what the whole bible has always said. For more information check the archives on the subject of 'the third day' that were posted between March 1 - March 17, 1998. Daniel's
distortion has been thoroughly exposed for what it is, nonsense.
Not only the days are given but also the scriptural reasons that were prophesied from the beginning are listed, and much more is available. Also, the pride with which Mr.Gregg attacks this position is shown for what it is in Yacov Seedeater's taking captive every thought to the scriptures and answering by the word used correctly. Anyone can bog people down with alleged dates that only they themselves can confirm; give us more people who know what the scriptures are saying by the Spirit.
