EliYah:
- I believe there was a question or two in the chat room, and one of the questions was about the sacrifices. When Messiah returns, it does appear to me, if you read Ezekiel 40 to the end and even Zechariah 14, which we read earlier, it mentions an altar.
Zechariah 14:21 -- There does appear to be sacrifices returning and even sin offerings. If you read Acts 21, you'll see that Paul was compelled by James to go to the temple and be purified with four men who had taken a vow, which is a Nazarite vow, which did involve making sacrifices.
Curtis:
- Shabbat Shalom.
EliYah:
- How are you all doing?
Curtis:
- Good. I thank Yahweh.
EliYah:
- HalleluYah.
Curtis:
- The children are just going down for a restful nap.
EliYah:
- Very well.
Curtis:
- Mag and I are just listening to the rest of your study.
EliYah:
- HalleluYah
Curtis:
- So, no shofar followed by the "Praise Yahweh!" of the children today.
Curtis:
- No, no, no. That was at the beginning of Shabbat.
EliYah:
- Okay.
Curtis:
- I know that most of the time when they're up, we usually blow it again.
EliYah:
- Very well.
Curtis:
- To the four corners of the earth with you online there.
EliYah:
- HalleluYah. Well, I guess we'll be seeing you here in about seven weeks or so.
Curtis:
- Yahweh willing, yeah. We're hoping and praying. We had a storm come through here where it rained for three days. It was close to a hurricane in South Florida. It came up and lingered around, and came through here, and dumped a ton of rain, and it was a little gusty.
- It was kind of funny for us having lived aboard a sailboat and experiencing weather quite a bit living on the coast, from up and down the coast, South Florida, and the Keys a lot. People here, it was almost how some people are with the snow. They see one flake, and they shut everything down.
- One flake of snow, they shut everything down, and it's sunny the next hour. The same thing happened around here. Everybody shut everything down, and it was just really raining, but it's better safe than sorry.
- We're thinking some of the companies flag your IP if you use your computer a lot and have a lot of bandwidth and a lot of activity on it. They flag you. I don't know. Several times today we've been on, and it closes it down. It boots us off your site.
- It's kind of funny--not really, but...
EliYah:
- If it's on this end, it'll boot everyone off.
Curtis:
- I know. Nobody's had any problems that I can see, except us.
EliYah:
- Right.
Curtis:
- But it's okay. It's just another challenge. Another thing about all of that, we had electricity go off for a second a couple of weeks ago. There was no storm around. Sometimes a squirrel or something will mess with a transformer, and blast out a transformer. It happens all over like that.
- If an animal climbs up and is messing around with transformers and stuff, they'll get fried and blow out a transformer, and a block of a neighborhood is out of electricity until they come replace it.
- The electricity flips off in the middle of the summer or the winter, anytime, but in the summer we use fans a lot. Solar panels and wind generators--we were self sufficient on the sailboat. It's being used all over the world now--more in other countries than here.
- Being off the grid is pretty priceless when the grid goes down, generating your own electricity and your own power, especially when you rely on electric pumps for your wells and stuff. It's priceless, yeah.
EliYah:
- Absolutely. Of course, finding fresh water out there might be more challenging.
Curtis:
- Oh, yeah, ours is a few hundred feet deep.
EliYah:
- No, I mean out in the ocean.
Curtis:
- We had a desalinater. It takes the ocean water and filters it a few times and makes fresh water out of salt.
EliYah:
- Is that right?
Curtis:
- Yeah.
EliYah:
- That's neat.
Curtis:
- There was a few islands around.
EliYah:
- So the only thing you had to worry about is a storm or two.
Curtis:
- Well, you can't grow a whole lot on a boat.
EliYah:
- No.
Curtis:
- So, I guess if you can drag up and find kelp and stuff, pull fish onboard, you could provide.
EliYah:
- Right.
Curtis:
- It's nice to be able to sail in between communities and cities and friends, but living aboard for too long--it's a good thing, a fun thing, and it's a real learning experience, but, for me and our family, we're looking to find a piece of land that has a well where we can dip a bucket into and won't even have to worry about solar panels for that.
- It'd be nice just to dip a bucket ten feet down and splash your face with water and have a little drink.
EliYah:
- There you go. All right.
Curtis:
- There's a few of them around. Like you were talking about earlier with the concrete and grocery stores, we take a lot for granted.
EliYah:
- We really do.
Curtis:
- There's a lot of stuff going on that we really don't realize. It's okay, and Yahweh is very merciful, but there's reasons we find things out. To find out what they're doing with genetics and fruits and vegetables, much less the boxed-up, processed food, but what they're doing with the fresh food in the market, even organic-labeled food, is kind of crazy.
EliYah:
- It's true.
Curtis:
- But anyway, yeah, I'll get off my little box here. We love y'all. Yahweh bless everyone and you all. Pray for us, please, and several other people that are having problems. People are having problems with their backs. Jeff, and Bo, and Frank. Pray for Frank. He's having problems with his back, too.
EliYah:
- All right. I've got them on the list. Good to talk to you, brother. Yahweh bless you and your family and be with you all. Shabbat Shalom.
Curtis:
- Thank you. Make His face shine upon you all. Shabbat Shalom.
EliYah:
- You, as well. Shabbat Shalom. Brother Curtis from the state of Florida calling in, usually our first caller. The phone lines are open if you would like to give us a call. The telephone number is 417-683-3575 or 866-435-4924. I'd love to hear from you if you have a question or comment about today's study, about the feast, or even to call in and say Shabbat Shalom.
- I'd like to hear from you. A few people like to share a shofar blast or two when they call in. Brother Henry from Canada asked a question earlier.
Q. How do we pray for the sins of our fathers. My parents are deceased.
Numbers 14:18 - `YAHWEH is longsuffering and abundant in mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression; but He by no means clears [the guilty], visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth [generation] .'- Yahweh visits the sins of the fathers unto the children to the third and fourth generation. Does that mean we are suffering the sins of our fathers? Do we need to pray for forgiveness for the sins of our fathers?
EliYah:
- I believe it is scriptural to pray for Yahweh to forgive us and forgive our iniquities through our parents. There's several places in the scriptures that talk about doing that.
- If you're aware of any kind of sin that your parents, grandparents, or great grandparents, or great, great grandparents may have been involved in, I encourage you to confess that as sin and declare that you want no part of that and ask forgiveness.
- Their blood is running through our veins, so we want to clear ourselves of any potential guilt or anything that may come upon us, as a result of those things.
- I think that's the reason why scripture talks about forsaking not only your sins, the sins of your ancestors. We want to make sure we're clear of those things.
- I believe we have Brother Neil and Torah House.
Neil:
- HalleluYah
EliYah:
- Torah House 3 is it?
Neil:
- Yes, it is.
EliYah:
- All right. Shabbat Shalom to you all.
Neil:
- Shabbat Shalom to you, your family, your home, and all the people out there, coast to coast, border to border, and around the world. We give you a big shout out from here in northeast Oklahoma.
EliYah:
- Northeast Oklahoma.
Neil:
- Yeah, where it doesn't go by a week without a good rain. We had another good rain this morning.
EliYah:
- HalleluYah.
Neil:
- Yahweh is really blessing this part of the country. Not much for construction, but the grass is sure green, I'll tell you that.
EliYah:
- All right! Tell me about Torah House 3.
Neil:
- Well, it's just in another location, still connected to 2, but now we have two houses, because more people are coming down here. We added a couple of brothers locally. I've got to tell you this story. That's the reason for my call.
- We have found that the enemy is really trying to keep us from succeeding in some of our ventures down here, and we've had some problems with some contractors and stuff, just things I haven't really had happen on jobs for years and years or even ever.
- We've started praying, and we know Yahweh would like us to bring good Torah believers and just keep it that way. That's what we're trying to do now.
- One of the guys went to a Baptist seminary over in Bolivar. You know where that's at.
EliYah:
- Yeah.
Neil:
- And got a degree there, and he's a friend of Zach's, and he needed a job. So, we hired him, and he worked with us, and within about three days, he was convinced, with all the scripture he knew, he was convinced that we had something he didn't have.
EliYah:
- HalleluYah.
Neil:
- After a couple of weeks of listening to Israel, and Gabriel, and Calvin, and JP--I believe was here for awhile then--and myself, he has adopted the Torah. I guess I could say hook, line and sinker.
EliYah:
- Blessed be Yahweh.
Neil:
- Blessed be Yahweh. The other day it was raining, and we didn't work, and he was in here, and he said, "Boy, I need to go to Tahlequah." And is aid, "Well, I'll go with you."
- Things happened where I couldn't go, and he was just going to drive back to Torah House 2. He got over there, and he kept saying to Israel, "Man, I need to go to Tahlequah. There's something about Tahlequah."
- Israel said, "Go. Just take my truck and go to Tahlequah," which his only about 20 miles from here. So, he went down there, and he stopped in this restaurant and got a sandwich, and these two guys came in.
- They got to talking, and they're from California. They moved to Oklahoma, because the home school laws in California are so bad right now, and Oklahoma has got the best home school laws, so they moved everybody--church, a bunch of the fellowship. A bunch of people all moved down to Tahlequah, and they were looking for jobs.
- He had just gotten there. This was on a Monday night. They had just arrived there on Sunday. The next day, they came out and went to work with us. They belonged to this church. It's kind of legalistic, but they do believe in the Sabbath. They know all the holidays are pagan, so they're part way there.
- What was so neat about this--all week we just worked pretty hard, and they were just wore out.
- We leave early on Friday so that everybody can be home for Sabbath. We stopped up at TH2, and we were getting some applications and stuff to them, so they could get them all filled out for next week.
- I noticed they were just milling around and milling around the yard. I said, "Guys, go inside. It's air conditioned." It was hot. I said, "Go on in there," because I was talking to Robert and his wife before they went back to Oklahoma City.
- One of them went inside, and the other guy just kept milling around. I'm kind of irrational at times. Of course, I know you don't know that. I knew that he wanted to give me something. I could tell by the way he was shuffling around and hanging around the car while I was talking to Robert.
- So, I drug this out as long as I could to see what kind of fortitude this young man had. Finally, Robert and his wife left, and he walked over and said, "Here, I want to give you this." He said, "It's all scriptural. I'd just like you to read it over the weekend while you have your Sabbath."
- It was a big tract. It started out in bold letters, "God Kills." It has scripture underneath that where he pulled it out of the Old Testament. I just had to start to laugh. Here was a guy. They listened to us most of the week about Torah, and Yahushua, and Yahweh.
- They didn't say much at all, but they wanted us to know that they believed also, and this is what they do. They hand out tracts--not a very attractive tract to hand out anybody. You wouldn't win friends and influence people.
- Wilson is his name, Michael Wilson. They call him Wilson. He said, "I just want you to know where we're coming from. A lot of what you guys say we understand. We don't know if we accept all of it, but we want you to know that this is what we believe. I want to make sure that if we work with you somewhere else, you know we're in one accord."
- I laughed, and I just had to laugh, because this young man is 27, and he had enough fortitude to take a tract like this and hand it to his boss. I felt those are the kind of guys we need, somebody who believes in something.
- No matter what the consequences, he thinks enough about what he believes to hand it to somebody. There are a couple of really good candidates, because they're part-way there, and they do know the Sabbath and the true names.
- One of them I talked to, I said, "We use Yahweh and Yahushua." He said, "Yeah, they're the Hebrew names." I said, "Well, not really. They're Hebrew names, but they're also the real names." I didn't go any further than that, because I want to make sure that we don't talk about stuff like that on the job, unless we're working while we're doing it.
- If you're trying to preach to somebody or witness to them on the job, you're not doing your fulfilled task.
EliYah:
- Right.
Neil:
- So I don't allow that to happen. But we're blessed on that. We've had a couple of other people. We had a great meeting today. I shared a lot with them about your meeting last night. I had a transcript with me, and we talked about the fall feasts coming up and the new moons. This is the first group we go to, and then we'll be going to another group later on this afternoon.
- They're coming along wonderfully. I talked to them about maybe coming to Sukkot. A couple of them might. They're all our age. I'm not going to say older, because we're still pretty young.
EliYah:
- Yeah.
Neil:
- But they're all Vicky's and my age. We're excited about them. They're growing. They have such a hunger for the Word, Tom. I'm so blessed. Israel and I went there today, and I'm so blessed with the way they dig into the Word and find Torah meaning in everything. Also, when we're in the Tanakh, they always understand how it's a forerunner to Yahushua.
- They're only a year and a half in this faith, so it's exciting to see how they tear into that. We have a little time of music, and they still use the old Christian songs, where we make sure that we sing the true names to it.
- They do struggle with the names. There's a couple of them that have used Jesus and God for 30 years. That's logic I refuse to get involved in.
EliYah:
- Right.
Neil:
- But they're doing wonderfully well. We'll be going to another group this afternoon. They were really impressed with JP. They're four or five years into this now, and they lost all their congregation, too. There's only about six of them, also. There used to be 30-35 of them.
- They're blessings, too. They're further in the Word. They enjoyed us there last week, as we shared a little bit with them. They said, "You guys know things we don't know anything about." I said, "Well, there's this website called www.EliYah.com. Go to it."
- "Oh, I've been there. That guy is really balanced, isn't he? Is he a rabbi?" I said, "No, Tom's not much of a rabbi. He may look like one from a distance, but he does not subscribe to that at all."
EliYah:
- I don't have my kippah.
Neil:
- Yeah. They hold Sukkot there at their little fellowship hall. Here's the interesting thing about this. Both these fellowships have beautiful buildings, and they're all paid for.
EliYah:
- Great.
Neil:
- They were smart enough to make sure that they knew Yahweh didn't want them in debt. They're nice facilities. Each one will hold between 50-55 people, and they're debt free. They're strong in the Word. I'm impressed with that.
EliYah:
- That's great.
Neil:
- Thank Yahweh that we're able to show them some more truths, and we learn a lot from them, too. It's been really good for us up here. We've enjoyed it. It's been great.
- Calvin Schmidt, who's our general field superintendent, lives up by...
EliYah:
- Joplin?
Neil:
- Yeah, it's up north of there. I can't think of the little town now, but he has a group that meets. He had two new believers join him this week, confessed Torah again. So we're seeing a real movement. People are really getting excited and wanting to cling on to the Word.
EliYah:
- That's great.
Neil:
- It's getting to be exciting down here, Tom. We might try to get you to do a broadcast here from TH3 maybe within the next month or two, get you down here.
EliYah:
- I'd love to meet everybody.
Neil:
- Yeah, we'd really enjoy that. It would be a good time.
EliYah:
- Yeah, sounds good.
Neil:
- Shabbat Shalom. I don't want to carry this on any further. I've talked plenty. My mouth is getting dry, so I know it's about time to quit. That's a good sign to me. [laughter]
EliYah:
- Well, I appreciate your testimony. That's just great news. Praise Yahweh for all the work He's doing there with you all. For people who are not familiar with what they do, they are a group of brethren, different families coming together and working. They're doing some building for Tyson Chicken, building some of their research barns and different things.
- In the midst of this, they're doing a lot of witnessing. They've been to several different locations. This will be their third location now. Brother John Paul from Oregon came over, and Israel from Arizona, and different people from different parts of Missouri, and now from Oklahoma people are joining them. Wow, it's just neat to see the work of Yahweh.
Neil:
- And that's what's so important. And I do want to encourage everybody. You may not think you're able to say things or to witness verbally.
- Two weeks ago, I got to go home and see Vicky, and I had a call just about sunset from one of the management people, and we talked for a few minutes. He said, "Neil, I see the sun starting to set, so I've got to let you go." They respect us to know that our Sabbath starts at sundown.
EliYah:
- HalleluYah.
Neil:
- He goes to a Baptist church. He knew this was sacred to us, because Sabbath was starting, and he didn't want to carry the conversation any further. We know we're making an impact, and that's all we want to do. We want to make sure Yahweh's name is lifted up and magnified.
EliYah:
- Amein.
Neil:
- So praise Yahweh. Blessings to you guys!
EliYah:
- And you, as well, brother.
Neil:
- Good Sabbath blessings to you all out there and Shabbat Shalom.
EliYah:
- All right, greet everyone for us.
Neil:
- HalleluYah!
EliYah:
- Shabbat Shalom. Brother Neil Bornhoft [phonetic] calling in from Oklahoma. HalleluYah. That's a great call. Good to hear Yahweh is working in all different areas of the country. We know that He's put everyone where they are for a purpose, and we just need to be willing vessels.
- From that point, Yahweh can do great and mighty things. HalleluYah. I believe we've got Brother Stephen Owen on line two. Shabbat Shalom to you, brother.
Stephen:
- Shabbat Shalom, EliYah, and Shabbat Shalom to all those listening.
EliYah:
- HalleluYah. How are you all doing?
Stephen:
- HalleluYah. We're doing pretty good. We had a rough week, but this Sabbath has been especially good, and Yahweh has been blessing us immensely in everything that we've been doing, so we're praying that we're in His will.
EliYah:
- Amein. HalleluYah. We're glad to hear that you're coming for the feast this year.
Stephen:
- Yes.
EliYah:
- HalleluYah. I think you used to come to the chat room quite a bit under Obudyah [phonetic] or something?
Stephen:
- Obudyah 83.
EliYah:
- Uh-huh, and your wife is Sarai?
Stephen:
- Yes.
EliYah:
- Sarah.
Stephen:
- Yes.
EliYah:
- And you actually met online, didn't you?
Stephen:
- Yeah, we met in your room back in the fall of 2004.
EliYah:
- Okay.
Stephen:
- And we got to talking on the phone, and it was kind of a short courtship, but I went and got her in January of 2005, and married her probably about a week later.
EliYah:
- Wow.
Stephen:
- And we've been married three years and eight months.
EliYah:
- Wow, congratulations.
Stephen:
- Yes, thank you.
EliYah:
- HalleluYah. Praise Yahweh. He brings it all together, brings us all together in different ways.
Stephen:
- Yes.
EliYah:
- That's great. And you have a little baby?
Stephen:
- Well, she's not much of a baby anymore. She's two years and four months.
EliYah:
- Wow.
Stephen:
- And she's intelligent. She can speak complete sentences and the clearest English that you can think of.
EliYah:
- Wow.
Stephen:
- Yeah, and we're very blessed to have her. I'm sure anyone that was in the chat room last night heard about our situation. My friend Robert told me about it.
EliYah:
- Yes.
Stephen:
- Yah has been working in our life. He helped us get away when we did. He helped me get my big van in order, so we could take some of our more valuable possessions with us. A miracle occurred. We went to a gas station, because the van was nearly empty, and I started filling it up, and ten dollars later, it overflowed out onto the concrete.
EliYah:
- Wow.
Stephen:
- Yeah, big vans have big gas tanks.
EliYah:
- Right.
Stephen:
- And so the fact that this happened just was like a miracle. At the feast, we always have miracles at the feast. When this happened, we were just praising Yah.
EliYah:
- HalleluYah, that's great! Wow. So He enabled you to have enough gasoline to get where you were needing to go.
Stephen:
- Yeah. We haven't gone anywhere since yesterday, because we wanted to prepare for Sabbath. We're just kind of sitting tight. We've got friends, and we've got people who know people, and I'm trying to get work where I'm headed. I'm pretty sure Yah will provide the way.
- The reason I called today is I wanted to share some verses with the people out there, because a lot of people do have doubts. They sit back and say, "Does Yah work in my life? Why is this hardship coming on me?"
- I had those doubts the first two or three days of this week, and it literally kept me up at night thinking about all this. Does Yah really work in my life? Does He really care?
- In Proverbs 28, which is my favorite chapter in the whole book, there are two verses, verse 25 and 26.
Proverbs 28:25 - He who is of a proud heart stirs up strife, But he who trusts in YAHWEH will be prospered.
Proverbs 28:26 - He who trusts in his own heart is a fool, But whoever walks wisely will be delivered.- To me, it was a hard thing to trust. I had a pretty rough childhood, but when the thing with the DHS came up, there was nowhere else to go. I got on my knees and begged, "Father, what's your will in all this?"
EliYah:
- HalleluYah. May Yahweh hide you in the shadow of His wing.
Stephen:
- HalleluYah.
EliYah:
- HalleluYah. A safe place to be is in His will. HalleluYah.
Stephen:
- Yep. I totally agree.
EliYah:
- Thank you for sharing that verse. Those who trust in Yahweh will prosper.
Stephen:
- Yes.
EliYah:
- HalleluYah. We will. Even though the world may look at us and say, "You're not prospering," in our hearts, that's where our joy is.
Stephen:
- Yes.
EliYah:
- On the outside, by the world's standards, they've got their ideas, but we have ours. It's the inner peace and joy that He gives us that really is what everyone is looking for. They're just looking in the wrong places.
Stephen:
- Yeah.
EliYah:
- HalleluYah. He provides.
Stephen:
- Yes, halleluYah. Shabbat Shalom, again, to everyone out there. May Yah bless you all with His will and with prosperity and understanding that goes beyond our earthly understandings.
EliYah:
- Amein. And you, as well, brother.
Stephen:
- Likewise.
EliYah:
- Shabbat Shalom.
Stephen:
- Shabbat Shalom.
EliYah:
- Very good call. Brother Stephen from the chat room. Looking forward to seeing him here in a few weeks. Blessed be Yahweh. We definitely want to pray Yahweh will protect him and watch over him and his little one and his wife, and Yahweh be magnified through it all. HalleluYah.
- All right, I believe we've got another phone call on line two. I believe we have--nope, not there. Looks like we dropped them. I don't know what happened, but they're not there right now. I think they're going to call in. I think that might be them. I'll see if I can pick up here. All right, are you there? Shabbat Shalom. Is this Sister Laura?
Laura:
- Yes, sir.
EliYah:
- How are you doing today?
Laura:
- I'm fine. And you?
EliYah:
- Doing very well. Yahweh is watching over you, I'm sure.
Laura:
- Hold on. I think it's my phone. I can barely hear anything. Okay.
EliYah:
- Is that any better?
Laura:
- I just wanted to get on to say Shabbat Shalom to everyone, and I can't wait to see a whole lot of the new people at the feast.
EliYah:
- HalleluYah.
Laura:
- I had a poem that I wanted to read.
EliYah:
- Okay.
Laura:
- I wrote this as soon as I got down here--well, not as soon--actually, a couple of days afterward, when it finally started raining, because we were praying for the rain.
EliYah:
- All right. I'm ready when you are.
Laura:
- It's called, "He Pours." He pours His rain down upon the earth. He cries His tears, as more children give birth. He pours His heart out to His children, as long as they do not break His law or bend it. Yahweh pours out His soul to the world. He holds fast what He says for the boys and girls.
- He pours out His love to you and me. One day at the end, He will set His children free. He pours it out for all to see. Yahweh even pours it out to show He is [inaudible].
EliYah:
- HalleluYah. Very well. HalleluYah.
Laura:
- My daughter is growing. Hopefully, by the time we get down there, she will be walking, so that everyone can see her stumble around and everything.
EliYah:
- Wow. They grow up so fast. It's hard to imagine.
Laura:
- What did you ask?
EliYah:
- I said they grow up so fast. It's just hard to imagine.
Laura:
- Yeah, they do grow up fast. Everybody keeps telling me I'll be wishing she's crawling, but I keep telling myself, no, I'm not going to do that. I'm actually glad she's growing. I want to be in that moment when she's walking, and I want to see it.
EliYah:
- Right, right. What a blessing. HalleluYah. We'll be seeing you at the feast in Eminence. Is the rest of your family, Marie and everyone, going to come, as well?
Laura:
- No, unfortunately, I don't think she'll be able to come, because she had to use all of the rest of the money on moving. When they finally got there, I think they got down to hardly anything, pretty much. They have to save that for when they do get a house.
EliYah:
- Okay.
Laura:
- They still haven't gotten a house. They're not homeless, though, but they still haven't gotten a house. Gary Heland [phonetic] is going to help them a little bit, he said, but I'm not really sure. I don't know about all that.
EliYah:
- All right, well, we're going to pray for them and that Yahweh will provide for them.
Laura:
- My mom told me to tell everyone on the internet--and, of course, you and your family--Shabbat Shalom, and that she misses you all already.
EliYah:
- And tell her we said Shabbat Shalom.
Laura:
- Okay, that's all I really had for now. I'll let someone else call in.
EliYah:
- All right. Thanks for calling in. Yahweh bless you and the little one.
Laura:
- Okay. Shabbat Shalom.
EliYah:
- Shabbat Shalom. All right. HalleluYah. Sister Laura Fagans. We definitely want to pray for her and her mother, Marie. We're going to add her to the prayer list today. If anyone else has any prayer requests, please mention so in the chat room.
- We've got quite a few already, but if you have any prayer requests, let us know, and for closing prayer in today's broadcast, we will make sure that we do offer prayer for you. HalleluYah.
- I believe that's all the phone calls so far. At this time, we'll share a song from the library, and maybe my son and daughter also will share a song today that Kara recently wrote. We will do that momentarily. In the meantime, this next song is called Yom Kippur. HalleluYah.
- [Music Ministry: "Yom Kippur"]
EliYah:
- HalleluYah. I believe the children are ready. Go ahead.
- [Music Ministry by Kara and KolaYah]

EliYah:
- HalleluYah. That's what we want to be, faithful to the end. Blessed be the name of Yahweh. It looks like there are some questions about the new moon. We believe the new moon is the first visible crescent. The conjunction, the new moon is when the moon is directly in line with the sun, as the moon orbits around the earth. When it's a full moon, the brightness of the sun is facing the disc of the moon that we see.
- As the moon revolves around, the back of the moon will be completely lit, instead of the part of the moon we see; therefore, that's what they call a conjunction, when the back of the moon is fully lit, the exact moment when it's an exact full moon on the opposite side of the moon. It gives us a completely dark moon.
- In our location, that's called the conjunction, or astronomical new moon, or scientific new moon.
- We believe that ancient Israel--suppose there was a sundown at 6:30, and the time of the astronomical new moon was 6:30. Then on which day would the new moon fall? So, if you have the conjunction view, I don't mock you, make fun of you, or put you down. I personally don't see it that way.
- My personal view is that the shepherd out in the field could look up in the sky after sunset and say, "There's the new moon." The new moon is shaped like a shofar. You blow the shofar. From his perspective, the moon withdrew its light for a day or two, and then on the second or third day, it resumed, and he saw the light of the new moon, and there was a new moon. HalleluYah.
- [Music Ministry: "Lead Me to the River of Your Healing Waters"]
EliYah:
- HalleluYah. May Yahweh fill you with His Ruach HaKodesh, His Holy Spirit, as you go out once more into the work week and the remainder of this great, holy Shabbat day. Yahweh fill you, and lead you, and guide you to be a light for His name, glorifying Him in all that you do. Yahweh bless you. We love you all. Shabbat Shalom to your homes.
