"Why Yahweh is So AWESOME!"

EliYah's message:

This has been on my heart for, I don't know, probably a month-and-a-half or so, that I have wanted to share a message like this. So I am very excited to do this, and I am very much looking forward to sharing our study portion for today's broadcast.

And today's study is entitled: Why Yahweh is So Awesome! Because there are just so many reasons, and I want to take a moment here and boast in Yahweh.

I am going to boast in Yahweh. What I mean by boast in Yahweh, I am going to talk about how amazing Yahweh is and why I serve Him, why I love Him, why I think He is so worthy of my love and my devotion.

And you hear of people talk about how wonderful their spouse is-- their husband or their wife. I want to talk today about how wonderful Yahweh is and why I love Him and why we all should love Him and just how AMAZING He is.

You know, we spent the last several weeks getting into really deep, deep Scripture study, and that's good. We find amazing gems and little nuggets of amazing truth when we do that. And the deeper you dig into the study of Yahweh's Word, the more amazed you get.

But we are going to go over some things today that I hope will be an encouragement and maybe something that would help you to understand, if you are not even a believer perhaps, why we do believe, why we do want to devote our lives to Yahweh our Creator.

But I want to take a moment here, and I am going to boast in Yahweh. Scripture says:

Psalms 34:1 - <<[A Psalm] of David when he pretended madness before Abimelech, who drove him away, and he departed.>> I will bless YAHWEH at all times; His praise [shall] continually [be] in my mouth.

2 - My soul shall make its boast in YAHWEH; The humble shall hear [of it] and be glad.

"My soul shall make its boast in Yahweh." So my soul today is going to boast in Yahweh and His greatness. And those of you who are humble will hear of it and will be glad, because you understand why I boast in Yahweh.

Because you have said, "Okay, Yahweh is in heaven. I am on earth. He is greater than I am. He is amazing. He is unfathomably awesome, and I am glad to hear these things."

But if there is something within us that does not enjoy hearing praises to Yahweh, we have to realize there is another force at work trying to get us to have this irritating, distressing spirit about the whole thing.

Scripture says in 1 Samuel 16:14-15:

1Samuel 16:14 - But the Spirit of YAHWEH departed from Saul, and a distressing spirit from YAHWEH troubled him.

15 - And Saul's servants said to him, "Surely, a distressing spirit from Elohim is troubling you.

And then later on they found David, and it said:

1Samuel 16:23 - And so it was, whenever the spirit from Elohim was upon Saul, that David would take a harp and play [it] with his hand. Then Saul would become refreshed and well, and the distressing spirit would depart from him.

So there is something going on in the spiritual realm. A lot of times we don't even understand there is a competing force trying to get us all distressed. And, yes, in this case Yahweh sent that unclean spirit to Saul to trouble him because Yahweh had rejected Saul for His obstinate heart. At any time Saul could have repented, but he chose not to.

And so, there are things happening in the spiritual realm. We give glory to the One whom glory is due just as we would for human beings on the earth. We give people honor. If they deserve honor, we give it to them. Yahweh deserves honor and we give it to Him. And we give Him praise and we give Him honor.

And when we do that, it says He inhabits our praises.

Psalms 22:3 - But You [are] holy, Enthroned in the praises of Israel.

His Spirit will come down and dwell in our praises to Him. To give praise to Yahweh is basically just to acknowledge Him for who He is and for what He has done.

And many today do not have the humbleness in them to give honor to Him when honor really is due to Him. And so, they look around, and say, "There is not much really to honor Him for. I mean, what has He really done? You say He created the heavens and the earth, but did He really?"

And, you know, they have all their reasons not to take a moment and give thanks in honor to the One who created all things, and they have come up with alternative explanations of how everything came to be-- evolution, and so on.

But, come on. If you really, really take a close look at it, if you take a close look at who we are or where we are, what we are, you just have to go, "Wait a minute! Something amazing has happened!"

Look up into the sky at night, especially if you go out in the country where there is not so much light pollution. Scripture says:

Psalms 19:1 - <> The heavens declare the glory of Elohim; And the firmament shows His handiwork.

2 - Day unto day utters speech, And night unto night reveals knowledge.

Day unto day these things utter speech. They are speaking to you. Night unto night they reveal knowledge.

Psalms 19:3 - [There is] no speech nor language [Where] their voice is not heard.

Now it is not necessarily a literal voice, but it is saying something to you. When you look up into the heavens at night and when you see the stars in the evening, I mean, most of us will agree, it is absolutely, indescribably amazing and humbling when you realize what that is.

So many former generations, they thought, "Well, maybe these little stars are just little dots connected to some kind of a thing that is just right there above the earth. Other religions, like Islam, thought that the stars were before the sun and the moon rather than behind the sun and the moon. And, you know, just a bunch of nonsense.

But listen, we are so tiny compared to the universe that we live in. It is humbling. So, so humbling...

If the sun were the size of a beach ball, then the planet Jupiter would be the size of a golf ball. And do you know what the earth would be? It would be as small as a pea compared to a beach ball. If you were to measure it all out, you could fit almost a million earths inside the sun. A million! I think it is nine hundred and some odd thousand.

And even in what you see when you look outside at the stars at night is a tiny fraction of a fraction of a fraction of what Yahweh has actually made.

Do you know that there are more stars (this is a fact), there are more stars in the universe than there are grains of sand in all the earth's beaches combined? Seriously! If you were to count all the grains of sand in all the world's beaches and add them all up together, there are more stars than there are grains of sand.

Scientific Discoveries: Without magnification, we only see a tiny fraction of a fraction of what Yahweh has made. There are more stars in the universe than there are grains of sand in all of the earth's beaches combined. They have found 400 billion galaxies, consisting of 40,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars.

This number right here is astronomical. I mean, you go from million --> to billion --> to trillion --> to quadrillion --> to quintillion --> to sextillion. That is how many stars there are-- as far as they know.

They also found that the sun (speaking of this "400" number) is 400 times more distant from us than the moon. It is 400 times further away. And remarkably, the sun just happens to be 400 times larger than the moon!

And so, it has the same size, according to where we are standing, because it is 400 times further away and 400 times larger than the moon. And so, that is why there is the solar eclipse, you know, where the moon passes in front of the sun and it just blocks out the sun perfectly.

I mean, there is no naturalistic reason why the sun and moon would be just at the right distances and size to give us this. As far as we know, the earth is the only planet for which that has been the case.

But of all the stars there are in the universe, did you know Yahweh says He has named all of them? Psalm 147 actually says He names them all. But the things that we are able to see in the night sky really even pale in comparison to what telescopes have found looking into the night sky.

Look at this. Look at these pictures. Look at it. Wow! The things they have found that you can't even see with the naked eye, you just go, "Wow! How in the world? What in the world is all of this?"

It is a place of wonder and amazement. The things that Yahweh has made ought to cause us to go, "Whoa, look at that!"

Beautiful! Beautiful, beautiful things out there. And, you know? The Hubble Space Telescope, which took a lot of these photographs, this telescope is so powerful it could zoom in on a penny 500 miles away and tell you whether it was heads or tails. That's how powerful it is.

And they opened up its lens for eleven-and-a-half days, and they wanted to zoom as far as they could on a tiny little slice of the universe to see as far away as they possibly could-- 277 hours of exposure. And what did they find? On this frame they found about 10,000 more galaxies. Ten thousand! On just a tiny spot in outer space.

Now realize, the sun is just one star out of millions and billions of stars in our galaxy, so each of these galaxies have an astronomical amount of stars. And you look at these things, and you just go, "Wow! Where are we? What are we? Who are we?"

Did you know that they found a dwarf, which is a dead star, and this thing was made up completely-- one-hundred-percent-- completely made up of diamond? Diamond! And they claim that when the sun burns out it will also become a diamond.

I have wondered if there is a connection, scripturally, for those of you who know the Scriptures, that Yahweh says that those who turn many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever, and it says that the walls of the city of Jerusalem are made up of precious stones. There may be a connection there.

But when I hear these things that science has discovered, I just go, "Hey, great is Yahweh, and greatly to be praised! His greatness is unsearchable."

Psalms 145:3 - Great [is] YAHWEH, and greatly to be praised; And His greatness [is] unsearchable.

That means there is no end to it. Mere words cannot do it justice. And I don't think they will ever find the end of the universe. I really don't. Because Yahweh is eternal and He dwells in the third heaven, which is a place we cannot see.

But this is what we are looking at, these kinds of things. How do those who work in the field of astronomy just not go, "Wow! Praise to our Creator!" I mean, how do they not do that?

Scripture says:

2Peter 3:5 - For this they willfully forget: that by the word of Elohim the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water,

So they willfully. You would have to look at this, and say, "When we look at creation you have to be just not looking at the obvious to say that an intelligent being set these things in motion."

And men of old recognized this, and if we take the time to consider our existence and the creation around us, it seems to me that we would have to be willfully ignorant in order to really believe this all took place just by random processes.

I mean, first of all, the size of the universe cannot even be calculated really. They think maybe they have, but they don't know. I just know this:

Psalms 19:1 - <> The heavens declare the glory of Elohim; And the firmament shows His handiwork.

2 - Day unto day utters speech, And night unto night reveals knowledge.

3 - [There is] no speech nor language [Where] their voice is not heard.

Psalms 19:4 - Their line has gone out through all the earth, And their words to the end of the world. In them He has set a tabernacle for the sun,

5 - Which [is] like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, [And] rejoices like a strong man to run its race.

6 - Its rising [is] from one end of heaven, And its circuit to the other end; And there is nothing hidden from its heat.

And so, they declare it. And the earth is our dwelling place. Space is the earth's dwelling place.

I once read a post that someone sent me from an unbeliever in a scientific article. And I was reading it, and it said: "We know that our universe is expanding at an accelerating rate, but what causes this growth remains a mystery. The most likely explanation is that a strange force... is driving it."

Well, let me introduce you to this strange force:

Isaiah 40:22 - [It is] He who sits above the circle of the earth, And its inhabitants [are] like grasshoppers, Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, And spreads them out like a tent to dwell in.

There you go. There is your source of the expanding universe driving everything.

And how did Isaiah, a man who lived in 600 B.C., or sometime around there, how did he know, first of all, that the earth was shaped in a circle? The Hebrews didn't have a word for "sphere." And how did he know that the universe is being stretched out? Because Yahweh who inspired these words to be spoken knew.

Job 26, verse7 (this is an even older book, set back in 2000 B.C., or so) says:

Job 26:7 - He stretches out the north over empty space; [He] hangs the earth on nothing.

How did they know that? Because the Spirit of the living Elohim inspired these words.

Romans 1:20 - For since the creation of the world His invisible [attributes] are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, [even] His eternal power and Elohimhead, so that they are without excuse,

21 - because, although they knew Elohim, they did not glorify [Him] as Elohim, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.

You have to be thankful for what He has done.

Psalms 8:3 - When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained,

4 - What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him?

That is what we are asking ourselves when we look up into the heavens: Who are we?

Psalms 8:5 - For You have made him a little lower than the angels, And You have crowned him with glory and honor.

6 - You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all [things] under his feet,

Psalms 8:7 - All sheep and oxen -- Even the beasts of the field,

8 - The birds of the air, And the fish of the sea That pass through the paths of the seas.

9 - O YAHWEH, our Master, How excellent [is] Your name in all the earth!

So the One who made the vast heavens, give glory to Him, because who are we compared to that? Who are we?

The One who made the vast heavens also made the smallest atom. The One who made the vast mountains also made the depths of the sea. And He was willing to look upon us and care about us, cleanse us, set us on His Son's throne. And we are going to reign together. We are going to reign together for a thousand years. Wow! Thank you, Yahweh!

I don't have to mope around with a long face while I think about His promises. I don't have to feel discouraged about the past or feel hopeless about the present, because I have a promise. And He has already fulfilled many of them. And so, we don't live in the past or in the present. We live in His promises.

And so, we learn from the past, and what is in the future helps us make the right choices in the present.

You look at the dwelling place of earth-- outer space. If that is not amazing enough, consider the dwelling place that you have right now while you are sitting in your chair. I'm not talking about your house. I'm talking about this body you have is a dwelling place.

There is a whole entire other world that you can't even see unless you make use of a microscope. And this world was unknown to the men of old.

But the revelation of this world, this microscopic world, ought to make us stand up and shout praises to Yahweh, because they learned that our bodies are made up of atoms and that everything is made up of atoms.

And actually, there are 8 times as many atoms in a spoonful of water... take one spoonful of water... there are 8 times more atoms in a spoonful of water as there are teaspoons of water in the Atlantic Ocean. Think about that for a moment.

And these atoms combine in different ways to produce molecules. They now say our human body is made up of 37 trillion cells. Thirty-seven trillion cells. That is our human body. And they all work together to make who we are. Thirty-seven trillion! And here is what is going on in just one of them. Watch...

BioVisions at Harvard University: The Inner Life of the Cell (showing video)... This is all going on in a single cell of your body. Just different things happening...

So there you go. Just an example. You look at that, especially the little walking thing. I mean, the things that are happening in our body we don't even realize that are going on-- and you just go, "Oh, come on! This all just came together randomly? Give me a break!" I say:

Psalms 150:2 - Praise Him for His mighty acts; Praise Him according to His excellent greatness!

Really! Praise Him! Thank you, Yahweh! I mean, take a look at your hand for a minute. You are looking at it. Do this (flex hand). What enables it to do that? I mean, figure that one out.

How arrogant is man, who doesn't really know anything, yet, to conclude that the world has created itself? I mean...

1Corinthians 8:2 - And if anyone thinks that he knows anything, he knows nothing yet as he ought to know.

3 - But if anyone loves Elohim, this one is known by Him.

Scientists barely have an understanding of the process of all this cellular stuff happening. And listen, we are-- you are-- a walking miracle, and the fact that you can hear the words that I am speaking to you right now.

I mean, most of us have learned that we have an eardrum. It catches the vibrations of sound, but have you ever realized what happens after that? Did you know the vibrations pass into three bones inside your ear? The sound vibrations pass on from the hammer bone to the anvil bone to the stirrup bone.

And then, because of that (those three bones) they all kind of concentrate in that one spot, the footplate of the stirrup bone, and it causes those vibrations to be amplified. And that footplate will move in and out and produce waves in the fluid of the inner ear.

And then the inner ear takes the mechanical vibrations and converts them into electrical signals that the brain can understand. Inside the cochlear duct of the inner ear there is this strip of tissue known as the organ of Corti, and it converts signals at the molecular level.

And this organ consists of three rows of outer hair cells and one row of inner hair cells. And the tops of these cells have these tiny hairs and that is why they are called "hair cells." And these are cilia that are smaller than the hair on our bodies. And, in fact, they are too small to be seen individually even with a light microscope.

Well, the tips of these hairs are attached to a spiral membrane called the tectorial membrane, and when the organ of Corti bounces up and down, the tectorial membrane wriggles the hairs.

And the wriggling of hairs causes a small molecular trapdoor (look at this thing) on the tips of the hairs to open and close and permits electrically charged particles, known as ions, to enter the hairs, and incredibly the molecular trapdoors are controlled by molecular springs (springs!) that are attached to the molecular brackets.

I mean, come on! It staggers the mind to think of these tiny molecular trapdoors opening and closing at a rate of 20-20,000 times a second. And they admit these charged ions into the tips of the hairs, and the movements of the ions generate electrical signals that are sent to the brain where they become processed and interpreted.

Now, come on. If it was not for the fact that I am describing just one part of the human body, most people would think I am describing something that was invented by someone. That could not have just come together by chance. It is a design. It is an incredibly complex invention.

And look, that is just the ear. I haven't even gone into the eye, yet, which I don't need to. But study that out and stand back and be amazed.

Proverbs 20:12 - The hearing ear and the seeing eye, YAHWEH has made them both.

Amazing Facts about our Body: Did you know the adult body contains about 100,000 miles of blood vessels? 100,000 miles!

Did you know that if you were to stretch out the DNA that is in your body, it would stretch to the moon and back over 1500 times, to the sun and back 4 times? You have 744 million miles of DNA in your body! I mean, how can you not be floored over what Yahweh has done? That is my question.

Scripture says:

Psalms 139:12 - Indeed, the darkness shall not hide from You, But the night shines as the day; The darkness and the light [are] both alike [to You].

13 - For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother's womb.

14 - I will praise You, for I am fearfully [and] wonderfully made ; Marvelous are Your works, And [that] my soul knows very well.

Psalms 139:15 - My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, [And] skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.

You know, this doesn't even begin to speak of the millions of species of animals and plants there are, microbes and different things that Yahweh has made.

And the fact that plants are able to harvest their energy from the sun, and through a very, very complex process known as photosynthesis, convert that into energy and take nutrients from the soil and water from the rain... and to move and to live and to grow and to produce food that we eat.

Look at this video here on photosynthesis... "Inside the cells of the leaf are amazing energy factories that pack the energy of the sunlight into high energy foods. Some molecules absorb sunlight. Others open and close portals. Others transport things.

"This sophisticated chemical factory performs hundreds of separate steps in perfect harmony, a symphony so complex that we have not yet fully fathomed it. Dozens of scientists are still working around the world to figure out the individual steps. And all this happens in millions of cells in every blade of grass every day of the year.

"And plants do much more than that. They produce oxygen. They provide homes for animals. They slow down erosion. They hold moisture. Every blade of grass, every rustling leaf, constantly converts the energy of the sun into food, oxygen and shelter."

So we have this process of photosynthesis. I'm sorry, man, but, hey, I think that blade of grass was just not smart enough to figure all that out. I just have a hard time fathoming that.

It would take more faith for me to believe that this all happened by random processes and by random chance than to believe that this was all created by some kind of Intelligent Being.

The faith required for me to believe that we are self-created, that at one time this earth just had a bunch of rocks and dirt and stuff and it all came together and produced all this, I mean, that is quite simply religion. I mean, if you believe that, that is a religion in my opinion.

And what about the animals and the insects and different things? Scripture says that Yahweh gave wisdom to Solomon, and it says:

1Kings 4:32 - He spoke three thousand proverbs, and his songs were one thousand and five.

33 - Also he spoke of trees, from the cedar tree of Lebanon even to the hyssop that springs out of the wall; he spoke also of animals, of birds, of creeping things, and of fish.

34 - And men of all nations, from all the kings of the earth who had heard of his wisdom, came to hear the wisdom of Solomon.

Anyone studying biology and the insects and the different things that Yahweh has created... I mean, here is one example: This little insect here-- a tiny little thing, only a couple of millimeters in length-- is called a leafhopper. And with one jump they can spring at a velocity of 9 miles an hour. And that is an acceleration of 400 g.

That is like a fighter pilot... I mean, he might get 9 g. This is 400 g. And this jump only takes 2 milliseconds. And if both of these leafhopper's hind legs did not push off at exactly the same time, the little fellow would just spin out of control and they just wouldn't be of any use to him.

And actually nerve impulses cannot travel fast enough to coordinate this jump, so the solution was Yahweh made these little gears. So as one leg would begin to move, the other one would also. And there are these little gear teeth. They are like 6-12/10,000ths of an inch. And they are located on the inner surface of each hind leg.

And these curved cogs, they mesh under the abdomen. And the insect jumps and they have to move in unison or he won't go anywhere. And so, no matter which leg moves first, they both jump together. And during this jump, these cogs and the gears actually roll pass each other at 50,000 teeth a second.

And these gears are actually curved. Notice they are sort of curved at the end rather than being symmetrical like a lot of manmade gears. Well, these leafhopper gear teeth are actually curved. They all point toward the point of contact.

And so, yet again, our Creator has given us here this glimpse into His creativity-- a perfectly functioning, finely tuned, irreducibly complex handiwork.

Now, I got some of this information from a ministry known as "Answers in Genesis." So I am reading off some of their material. And you can get some of these things. They have a magazine they put out that I get every two months. I enjoy it. I enjoy hearing these things.

But all of creation cries out. You are not an accident.

Job 12:7 says:

Job 12:7 - "But now ask the beasts, and they will teach you; And the birds of the air, and they will tell you;

8 - Or speak to the earth, and it will teach you; And the fish of the sea will explain to you.

9 - Who among all these does not know That the hand of YAHWEH has done this,

Job 12:10 - In whose hand [is] the life of every living thing, And the breath of all mankind?

So people ask me how do I know. Just take a look around you. How can it not be that we are created by a divine intelligent Creator?

But your life is a miracle. My life is a miracle. The earth is a miracle. Your body is a miracle. Plants are a miracle. The entire universe is one gigantic miracle. It is just that the miracles are so common place we don't think of them as being miracles.

So we live in what they call a "natural world." Well, who invented the laws of the natural world? Who decided that we will go this way and we will go that way? Why did it have to go that way? Who says it had to? But it all comes together in an amazing symphony of awesomeness.

You know, everything about our Creator is awesome. And some would say, "Well, how do you know that Yahweh is the One that created all things?"

Well, once you come to the conclusion, ok, we did not make ourselves... I mean, look at all the different faiths out there. Take a look at the faith that comes from the reading of the Bible, the Scriptures. The sceptics will tell you, "Well, the Bible has been translated so many times, you just can't rely upon it."

That is simply not true. It is not true. They say, "Oh, the Bible has been translated from this language to that language to that language to that language, and by the time it got to us it is a big mess." That is not true.

English Bibles are a direct translation from the Hebrew or the Greek. I mean, here. Look at the 2000 year old Dead Sea Scrolls. This is over 2000 years old. Do you know what they found? A lot of people thought, "Well, the Dead Sea Scrolls are going to correct and show us how corrupt the Bible is."

Do you know what they found? They found out that this text in the Dead Sea Scrolls almost, letter for letter, matched up with what was a scroll a thousand years later. The small differences-- and I have studied the small differences-- they are all negligible really. They don't impact your doctrine. They would be like two ways of saying the same thing.

And then the Greek manuscripts of the New Testament, they date back to, maybe, 70-100 years or so after they were originally written. And some say, "Well, the Greek New Testament is a translation of the Hebrew."

And it probably is. But listen, they would have been translated immediately. I mean, the original authors probably wrote them in Hebrew and Aramaic, but they would have been translated immediately because the Gentiles needed to read from these as well.

And so, who would have overseen the translation? People that were reliable sources. The men who wrote them would have overseen the translations. And so, the Greek is reliable.

Now, look at this. Look at this thing. They discovered this thing in Israel near Jerusalem. They found this thing called the Ketef Hinnom. It was a silver amulet scroll. It is made out of silver, and they date it back to 700 (to maybe 650) B.C. This is during the reign of Hezekiah and Manasseh.

And they found this silver scroll, and they were able to decipher what it was saying. And here is what it says: "Yahweh bless you and keep you; Yahweh make His face shine upon you," and then, this part in italics was not found in the scroll (and be gracious to you, Yahweh lift up his countenance upon you), "and give you peace."

But this is the full text of Numbers chapter 6, verses 24 through 26. And this text that was missing, actually, may have been missing because it went off the edge. It got eaten up by whatever decaying processes are out there. And so, the whole text was most likely there originally.

We are talking about a Bible text that is 2700 years old, which is really only about, maybe, 800 years after it was first inspired. But we are talking about very, very old texts. And it matches. It is consistent across the ages. And so, this "many translations" assertion is simply not true.

I mean, yes, there are many English translations of the Bible, but they translate from the ancient sources, which have been proven to be very, very consistent.

And unlike various mythological tales, which have long been proven to be nothing more than fiction and the figment of people's imaginations, the Bible has historical accuracy, which again and again and again is supported by the archaeological finds and historical evidences.

Do you know that the people, places and events mentioned in the Bible are very often corroborated by extra-biblical sources? And that is one reason why the Bible has survived the test of time.

I mean, here is an example. They have Assyrian documents. They mention the kings of Israel: Omri, Ahab, Jehu, Joash, Menahem, Pekah, Hoshea of Israel. All these kings. Kings of Judah: Ahaz, Hezekiah, Manasseh.

The Assyrian documents, which are not biblical documents-- they are records of other nations-- they mention all these kings of Israel.

And the chronological order in which they were king matches up with the Scriptures, as well as their relationship with these kings (whether the kings were in a peaceful relationship with the Assyrians or not in a peaceful relationship). Everything matches up with what the Scriptures say.

Actually, there are over fifty people in the Old Testament alone that are mentioned in the Old Testament that have been found in other extra-biblical sources, not just the ten kings. There are forty other individuals that are mentioned.

Jeremiah 36:4 - Then Jeremiah called Baruch the son of Neriah; and Baruch wrote on a scroll of a book, at the instruction of Jeremiah, all the words of YAHWEH which He had spoken to him.

So Baruch, the son of Neriah, was a scribe. And did you know they found in Israel this seal, this bulla? And in this thing it says: (Belonging) "to Berechyahu, the son of Neriyahu, the scribe." And they dated this particular seal to the time where the book of Jeremiah says of when he actually lived. Amazing!

And it was about the 7th century B.C. when Jeremiah was alive.

Another example...

2Kings 25:27 - Now it came to pass in the thirty-seventh year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, on the twenty-seventh [day] of the month, [that] Evil-Merodach king of Babylon, in the year that he began to reign, released Jehoiachin king of Judah from prison.

28 - He spoke kindly to him, and gave him a more prominent seat than those of the kings who [were] with him in Babylon.

They gave him a more prominent position.

2Kings 25:29 - So Jehoiachin changed from his prison garments, and he ate bread regularly before the king all the days of his life.

30 -

Just a passing comment Scripture mentions. Well, guess what? Tablets from the royal archives of Nebuchadnezzar, the King of Babylon, were unearthed in the ruins of Babylon, and this tablet is currently housed in the Pergamon Museum in Berlin.

And some of these tablets contain rations paid to captives and craftsmen who lived in and around the city of Babylon. And on one of the tablets, which was stored in a barrel-vaulted underground building near the Ishtar Gate, contains a reference to "Yaukinu, the King of Yahudu," which is Yahuiachin, King of Judah.

And the tablet actually details exactly what those rations were. And it says: "10 (sila of oil) to the king of Judah, Yaukin; 2 1/2 sila (oil) to the offspring of Judah's king; 4 sila to eight men from Judea."

And then another tablet reads: "1 1/2 sila (oil) for three carpenters from Arvad, 1/2 apiece; 11 1/2 sila for eight wood workers from Byblos...; 3 1/2 sila for seven Greek craftsman, 1/2 sila apiece; 1/2 sila to the carpenter, Nabuetir."

And it goes on to say... "10 sila to la-ku-u-ki-nu, the son of Judah's king; 2 1/2 sila for the five sons of the Judean king."

And so, it is telling you what those rations were. And so, it agrees, first of all, with the existence of Yahuiachin and, actually, one of the things that the Scriptures mention took place and completely agrees with the biblical account they had rations.

Other things, they claim, "Oh, well, you know, New Testament stuff..." I mean, the High Priest, all these different things that in the New Testament says happened, they have verified these are actual men.

There was one man named Pontius Pilate that sceptics would try to say for many years, "Oh, Pontius Pilate wasn't a real person. He was an invention of a fairy tale in the Bible, or whatever."

Well guess what? In 1961 they found this inscription in a limestone block. In the theater of Caesarea they found this inscription, and it says "Pontius Pilate." Actually, it reads: "Pontius Pilate, prefect of Judea." So he was the governor of Judea.

Listen, this is just a few of the innumerable examples. I could sit here for three or four weeks and go over so many archaeological finds that back up what the Scriptures declare to be true. And this doesn't even speak of the internal witness of the Scriptures themselves.

You know, I have never come across two scriptures that were doctrinally opposed to each other. The doctrine in Scripture is consistent from Genesis to Revelation.

And the prophecies. You know, one of the most remarkable things is the Dead Sea Scrolls contain a full readable copy of the scroll of Isaiah. This thing dates back to like one hundred years before Messiah was born. And they have a full readable copy.

You can actually read this in Israel. There is actually a museum there where you can read the whole thing. They have it all laid out there. And in this scroll, it actually reads this-- this is 100 years before Yahushua came on the earth-- and it says:

Isaiah 53:1 - Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of YAHWEH been revealed?

This is a predicted prophecy about the coming Messiah, and it indicates that not everyone is going to believe in this coming Messiah, which is exactly what happened. The Jewish people-- some accepted Him, some didn't. Most didn't. And most don't today. That was predicted to be the case. Who has believed it? And what does it say?

Isaiah 53:2 - For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, And as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; And when we see Him, [There is] no beauty that we should desire Him.

He wasn't the best looking guy. One of the reasons probably they didn't think He would be the Messiah, because He wasn't so glorious looking. But He was humble in His beginnings.

Isaiah 53:3 - He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, [our] faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.

Who is "we"? This is Isaiah talking, a Jewish man.

Isaiah 53:4 - Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by Elohim, and afflicted.

We did that.

Isaiah 53:5 - But He [was] wounded for our transgressions, [He was] bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace [was] upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.

6 - All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And YAHWEH has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

If you didn't know any better, you would think you were reading from the New Testament. There are over fifty-eight characteristics here in Isaiah 53 that describe the coming Messiah, and Messiah Yahushua matches every single one of them.

And yet, this scroll was written one to two hundred years before Messiah was even born. We have a physical copy of that scroll that was written, I am talking about-- but the actual prophecy was made about six hundred years before Messiah was born. But the copy of the scroll itself is at least 100-200 B.C.

So, you know, men marvel at the predictions by men, like Nostradamus, and yet we have this physical copy of Isaiah that predicts all these things about Yahushua in full detail. It just goes to show the Scriptures we hold in our hands are not like anything else in the world.

It is unmatched in its predicted prophecy. Other prophecies actually predicted that His name would be Yahushua (in Zechariah chapter 6), He would be preceded by a forerunner (that was John the Baptist), He would speak in parables, He would humbly enter Jerusalem on a donkey, He would be betrayed by a close friend for thirty pieces of silver.

It predicted He would be pierced in His hands and His feet and His bones would not be broken. It predicted His people would cast lots for His clothing and that He would not be left to corruption, but He would be resurrected. All these things were predicted ahead of time.

And we have all these historical events happening around Yahushua's life. The different Roman kings that were in power and different things that were happening is all backed up by what we know in history. So why wouldn't we believe the rest of it?

And, you know, second of all, if a man begins to really study the Scriptures, there are amazing, innumerable connections between the actual historically verifiable events in the Bible and the actual teachings of the Bible.

What I mean is this: Try to imagine yourself as an Israelite, say 300 years, or so, B.C. You are reading about the history of your nation and how it all starts with the family and a particular man named Abraham, who was called away from his homeland by Yahweh, the Creator, and told to go into this land of Canaan.

And he was promised this land would belong to Abraham and his descendants. Although he had no children, Yahweh miraculously gives him a son in his old age, and as a test, Yahweh told Abraham to sacrifice that son on the altar. But Yahweh stopped him. And the ram got caught in the thicket and they found this ram to sacrifice instead.

And then his descendants find themselves in Egypt and they were made into slaves. And Yahweh does all these mighty works in sending the plagues on the Egyptians. And the Egyptians finally decide to let them go when death strikes the firstborn of Egypt. And the Israelites are saved by the blood of the Passover lamb on their dwelling places.

They are spared from death. They leave Egypt. The Egyptians pursue them. Yahweh opens up the Sea of Reeds. The Israelites safely cross the sea on dry land, but the Egyptians perish in the water. And Yahweh gives Israel these commandments to follow so that they will learn how to love Yahweh and to love each other.

And they faced these trials and difficulties in the wilderness, in the land between Egypt and the land of Canaan. They were judged and chastised for disobedience to His Word. And because of disobedience to His Word, Moshe (Moses) himself was actually forbidden from taking Israel into the promised land.

And a man named Joshua was appointed to lead them across the Jordan River to the promised land.

Now to the Jewish people, this story may have seemed fascinating and interesting, but most of them didn't realize that the history of their nation was actually a parable.

The actual things that happened to them was a faith building thing that was an illustration for how Yahweh was not only going to deliver Israel from their trouble, but also deliver all of mankind from the curse of death and show the way to eternal life.

Because just as they were told, "Take a Passover lamb and offer it," Yahushua the Messiah was killed at the exact hour that Yahweh commanded Israel to take their Passover lambs and offer them on the altar. Yahushua Himself offered up Himself.

As it says in Isaiah 53, "Yahweh laid on Him the iniquity of us all," so that we would not receive the punishment we deserve for the wrongs that we had done, but that He would bear it for us.

We were created with an innate desire for justice and righteousness, but also a flesh that wants to drive us into doing wrong, to be self-centered, to only think about self. And so, we have judges. We have societies. We have rules. We have things that we all do.

Well, Yahweh has His set of rules, and this is all a test for us whether or not we are going to follow them.

Just as Yahweh delivered them from death, as they passed through, out of the land of Egypt, and this death angel went over and destroyed all the Egyptians, He spared them from death by the Passover lamb. And they would partake of this Passover lamb. They would eat part of the meat of the lamb as it roasted on the stick.

Yahushua Himself was crucified on a stick, on a pole, and He died for us. And in order for us to receive Him, we have to go through water. We go through water. We go through baptismal waters. They went through the baptisms in the sense of the Red Sea, the Sea of Reeds, and they were baptized in the sea and in the cloud.

And they went into this wilderness just as we are. We are in a temporary place right now. We are in a wilderness, spiritually speaking, and we are waiting that time when we will have an incorruptible body, where it will not die any longer. But we realize that Moses cannot take us across the Jordan. The Law cannot take us where we need to go.

We need a man named Joshua. Actually, Yahushua's name, the Messiah's name, is the same name as the one Joshua, who led them across the Jordan... Joshua/Yoshua.

Joshua, actually in the Hebrew, "Yoshua," or "Yahushua," led them across the Jordan. We have a Savior named Yahushua who is going to take us across the Jordan.

There are so many things like this. If you don't understand this, hey, study the Scriptures. You will just absolutely be amazed!

The Feast Days-- even the Feast Days-- and how the different layer upon layer of meaning in each of these Feast Days are just incredible. Even the simple things in Scripture, like thorns.

You know, Isaac had to carry the wood-- Isaac was Abraham's son-- he had to carry the wood that was supposed to be the instrument of his own death, which Yahweh spared him.

Yahushua Himself also carried the beam that was going to be His instrument of death, in John 19:17. Did you know that?

John 19:16 - Then he delivered Him to them to be crucified. So they took Yahushua and led [Him] away.

17 - And He, bearing His cross, went out to a place called [the Place] of a Skull, which is called in Hebrew, Golgotha,

Now He could only carry it so far. He couldn't. And so, someone else helped Him later on. But we read in these other books, you know, just as Abraham said, Yahweh would provide a lamb, and ultimately caught this ram. He was caught in the thicket with his horns. This thicket was thorns, right? And so, Yahushua also had thorns on His head.

And so, Abraham sees this ram, all bloody, probably, from the thorns, and takes him and offers him instead of his son Isaac. Yahushua Himself had a crown of thorns and was offered for us, as it says in Matthew 27...

Matthew 27:29 - When they had twisted a crown of thorns, they put [it] on His head, and a reed in His right hand. And they bowed the knee before Him and mocked Him, saying, "Hail, King of the Jews!"

30 - Then they spat on Him, and took the reed and struck Him on the head.

He was despised and rejected by men.

You know, all throughout Scripture thorns represent sin. When Adam sinned, the ground from which he was made became cursed with thorns. And the thorns were actually not a part of the original creation.

Did you know the burning bush was actually a thornbush, yet not consumed? And with the burning thornbush, Yahweh was showing that man in his sinful thorny condition would still be able to dwell with Yahweh in a consuming fire, yet to be delivered.

And just as He would deliver Israel, He delivered us by the blood of the Lamb.

And Yahweh appeared to them as a consuming fire by night and a cloud by day, and He gave them a fiery law that was delivered to a thorny people. Did you know that the location where the Law was given was actually Sinai and the word "Sinai" means "thorny"? What a place to give His Law, a mountain called "thorns"!

And Yahweh also commanded that they make a tabernacle and an ark of acacia wood that was made out of a thorn tree and they overlaid it with gold. Then prior to entering the promised land, Israel encamped at a place called "the Field of Thorns" (Abel Shittim).

So Yahweh warned Israel to destroy those nations from among them. He said they "shall be irritants in your eyes and thorns in your sides." (Numbers 33:55.) They were a thorny people around them, a sinful people.

And Scripture says in Matthew 7:16:

Matthew 7:16 - "You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?

When He said that there would be false prophets around. He said that some seed would fall among thorns, which by fast growth would choke out the good plant. That is the worldly things. And they suck up the nutrients in the soil and everything, block the sunlight.

And we need the Son, we need the light, in order to grow-- the Word, to teach us. And we need water to grow, which is the Spirit. And these two ministries keep us growing, but we have to have the good heart, the good soil, for that to grow.

I mean, there are so many illustrations just in nature. Nature teaches us in order for us to live something has to die. Whether it be the living cells in a carrot plant or a fruit, there are living cells there, and they have to die so that we might live. Or the animal has to die for us to live.

Yahushua, spiritually, had to die in order for us to live. Everything around us is just like this huge parable of illustration. And Yahushua bore this curse of the Law at Sinai, called "Thorny Mountain," and became the curse for us, was crowned with thorns-- a crown we earned, but Yahweh place it on Him instead, laying on Him the iniquity of us all.

He is the ram that Yahweh provided to Abraham with his head wounded in the thicket of thorns. And now we, otherwise "thornbushes"-- sinful people-- can dwell with a consuming fire that appeared to Moshe and not be consumed.

And we also are His dwelling place. The ark is His dwelling place. And the temple, the tabernacle, represented His dwelling place, right? And that ark was made out of a thorny wood, acacia wood. Acacia was made of thorns. It had thorns all over it. But Yahweh said, "Cover it with gold."

And now we can be His dwelling place. We can be Messiah's glory. Now we live in this land of thorns. We are trekking through the wilderness and we are learning the Law and we are being tested and tried. But one day Yahushua the Messiah is going to bring us across the Jordan.

He is coming with fire and the thorn bearers will be destroyed unless they turn and allow Messiah to bear those thorns for them.

I mean, this is just amazing consistency from Genesis to Revelation. And if most of what I have said, if you didn't understand it, study the Scriptures. You will go, "Wow! How in the world? This is amazing! It is miraculous!" But you have to study the Scriptures to really get it.

And these words... forty different men, forty different authors, living on three different continents, written over a span of fifteen hundred years, and yet, they all speak one message about thorns. I mean, come on!

You know, I mentioned Israel earlier. A king once asked (Frederick the Great), he asked his physician, Zimmermann of Brugg-in-Aargau, he said, "Zimmermann, can you name one single proof of the existence of a Creator ('theos' or a 'god')?" And the physician replied, "Your Majesty, the Jews."

The Jews! What?? Three hundred years ago King Louis of France asked Blaise Pascal the same question, the French philosopher of his day, to give him proof of the existence of miracles. Without a moment of hesitation, Pascal answered, "Your Majesty, the Jews."

For almost nineteen hundred years, the Jewish people, although they were scattered in all these different nations throughout the world, they never perished, they never lost their identity.

You know, history shows that the people groups who leave their homeland will typically lose their national identity within five generations. Not so with the Jewish people in spite of innumerable attempts by various nations to get them to assimilate into the culture.

No, they wandered around like strangers, persecuted, killed, hated, all the way up to World War II where up to 6 million Jews were put to death. And out of the ashes of all of that, the State of Israel was born in 1948, and many Jews have been returning to their homeland ever since.

Did you know Hebrew was not a language spoken in any nation for almost two thousand years? Almost two thousand years! And now over in Israel they are speaking Hebrew. Unheard of! And they survived the 1967 Six-Day War, the 1973 Holy Day War, all these attacks. It seems like almost the whole world is against them now.

And none of this was because of their own righteousness. They did not survive all these centuries of time because of how great their rabbis were or how great they were or their own righteousness. They survived because Yahweh said this:

Jeremiah 31:35 - Thus says YAHWEH, Who gives the sun for a light by day, The ordinances of the moon and the stars for a light by night, Who disturbs the sea, And its waves roar (YAHWEH of hosts [is] His name):

36 - "If those ordinances depart From before Me, says YAHWEH, [Then] the seed of Israel shall also cease From being a nation before Me forever."

37 - Thus says YAHWEH: "If heaven above can be measured, And the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel For all that they have done, says YAHWEH.

No one has ever measured these things. You really can't measure it. You can't search out the foundations of the earth. I mean, has anyone ever been down there? I mean, they have not yet really measured the heavens. So the seed of Israel will always be a people group. He says they always will. That is exactly what has happened.

And there were prophecies in Scripture that had to take place. This is why they never lost their identity.

Yahushua predicted the downfall of Jerusalem. He said in Luke 21:24:

Luke 21:24 - "And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

So there will be time they are trampled down, but it won't be forever. And Scripture predicts that just before the Messiah returns, the people of Israel would be a nation once again.

Zechariah 14:1 - Behold, the day of YAHWEH is coming, And your spoil will be divided in your midst.

He is talking to the Jewish people. He says:

Zechariah 14:2 - For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem; The city shall be taken, The houses rifled, And the women ravished. Half of the city shall go into captivity, But the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

3 - Then YAHWEH will go forth And fight against those nations, As He fights in the day of battle.

Zechariah 14:4 - And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, Which faces Jerusalem on the east. And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two, From east to west, [Making] a very large valley; Half of the mountain shall move toward the north And half of it toward the south.

5 - Then you shall flee [through] My mountain valley, For the mountain valley shall reach to Azal. Yes, you shall flee As you fled from the earthquake In the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Thus YAHWEH my Elohim will come, [And] all the saints with You .

He is talking to the Jewish people.

Zechariah 14:6 - It shall come to pass in that day [That] there will be no light; The lights will diminish.

So in order for these prophecies to ever take place, there had to be a nation of Israel that did not lose their identity.

Zechariah 14:7 - It shall be one day Which is known to YAHWEH -- Neither day nor night. But at evening time it shall happen [That] it will be light.

8 - And in that day it shall be [That] living waters shall flow from Jerusalem, Half of them toward the eastern sea And half of them toward the western sea; In both summer and winter it shall occur.

9 - And YAHWEH shall be King over all the earth. In that day it shall be -- "YAHWEH [is] one," And His name one.

See, He even predicted that people would mess with His name. And they did! So in order for all that to happen, Israel couldn't lose their identity. The Jewish people had to retain their identity, and this is the only people group I know of that have scattered to every nation of the earth and yet never lost their identity. It is amazing!

And then we have prophecies that were predicted to take place that have taken place besides these. For instance:

Daniel 12:4 - "But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase."

This word "increase" means: 1) "to be or become great" (07235 rabah {raw-baw'}). Look at the explosion of knowledge in the last 150 years. It is incredible! And people going to and fro like nothing--- like airplanes and trains and automobiles. This was all predicted in the prophets.

And now? As Scripture says, we are near the time of the end. And the day is going to come (Revelation 13:16), this beast is going to rise up-- this world power is going to rise up-- and it says:

Revelation 13:16 - He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads,

17 - and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

18 - Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number [is] 666.

No one can buy or sell unless they have this mark. Now think about this for a minute. This prophecy would be impossible to perform and to be fulfilled unless there was a one world government.

You would have to have major increase in knowledge and major control over the people in order to pull this one off that no one can buy or sell except you have this mark. I mean, how could it be any time in history a government could control whether or not two people buy or sell?

Only with the technology I'm seeing today with the global economy would that even be possible. So even a one world economy that we now have is evidence that the things which Yahweh says will happen are on the way.

So, yes, Yahweh's Word is absolutely amazing and not a single prophecy has ever failed-- not even one.

And if we have our eyes open and we realize the world we live in is far too complex to have created itself and that we owe our very existence to an extremely, infinitely intelligent Creator, in our search for a Creator, we will inevitably come across this amazing material known as the Bible and realize this...

Unlike mythological tales, the Bible is historically accurate. Unlike other texts, like the Quran, which taught that the world was flat and that the stars were lower than the sun and the moon, the Bible is actually scientifically accurate and there are no modern scientific proofs that have ever been able to contradict Scripture.

And did I mention the Bible just makes sense? It explains why a Creator of all living things could allow evil in the world (that is a big question) and explains it. And a very logical explanation is given.

How can a loving Creator allow all the evil in the world and yet still be perfectly good and perfectly loving? No other faith in the world teaches, really, that they are loved by their creator like what we see in Scripture.

Well, here is the explanation given in Scripture. He placed Adam and Eve in the garden. He gave them a choice of whether they would love Him or not love Him. Yahweh knew it is not possible for a person to really love unless they have a choice to do otherwise.

Think about that. Love is not really love unless one is loving out of free choice. Can your computer love you? No, because it is doing what it is programmed to do. If Yahweh created us to be machines, we would have no capability of loving. We would just be doing whatever we were programmed to do.

But if He would give us free choice, then we would have the ability to choose love. And unless we have the choice to choose love, love is not really love. I mean, if your child came up to you and you mouthed his words, "I love you, Daddy," that wouldn't mean anything to you because you forced him to do it. It really wouldn't feel like love.

But if that child came to you of their own free will and volition, and said, "I love you, Daddy. I love you, Mommy," that is true love. And so, that is what Yahweh wants. He wants true love. And so, the free will choice to reject love is the reason for the world being so wicked today.

So don't blame the Creator for the presence of those who reject love. In fact, all of us have failed at some point in our lives in terms of really loving Yahweh and loving one another. And that is what sin is. It is a failure to love.

But it was Yahweh's choice to love me and show how much He loved me to compel me to want to receive Yahushua the Messiah, because Scripture says He loved me first. And this is one of the many questions the Scriptures answer with a reasonable, logical answer that makes sense and one reason why I believe the Scriptures are true.

Yahweh's Word explains everything and it all makes so much sense. Now I have people say to me, "Oh, what about the miracles we read in the Bible. How come we don't see those anymore?" Like I said, the whole world is a big miracle, but you are talking about unusual miracles. Okay, I have one... 1992.

We decided to have a home birth, and my son... I didn't know anything about it... I had a midwife there. The midwife told me my son was sideways in the womb. He was not head down. He was horizontal, and if she continued giving contractions, he would have been crushed and she would have bled to death.

So I put my hands over my wife's belly and I prayed that he would turn. I knew he was a boy because we had ultrasound. And I said, "Kolayah, in the name of Yahushua the Messiah..." I knew the sacred name back then. I said, "In the name of Yahushua the Messiah, turn." And just like that, he turned vertical.

You could see the bumps. You could see it physically with your own eyes. He was vertical. No doctor's hands moved him. Nothing. Just Yahweh. Yahweh moved him.

Now, not all miracles are miracles like that. And for that miracle, I don't give glory to myself. I just knew. I just knew that I knew that I knew this was going to work. And Yahweh gave me that faith at that moment to put my hands on her belly. And he moved. So He gets the glory.

And there have been other miracles that I have experienced that are actually completely connected to the Scriptures. One time I was talking with my family about how important it was that I tell my children about the awesome works of our Father in heaven and the things that He has done and how I need to teach them to them.

And I said, "It is like Psalm 78." And I flipped open to Psalm 78. I didn't have to flip a single page. My Bible just opened up to Psalm 78. Now, okay, you could say, well, maybe that was just a coincidence. I was going to open to Psalm 78, and I flipped open the Bible and there it was.

But then my wife did the same thing. She just flipped open her Bible with one flip and there was Psalm 78. And then my son did the same thing. He flipped open his Bible and right there Psalm 78. We all go, "Wow!"

And so, what does Psalm 78 say?

Psalms 78:4 - We will not hide [them] from their children, Telling to the generation to come the praises of YAHWEH, And His strength and His wonderful works that He has done.

5 - For He established a testimony in Jacob, And appointed a law in Israel, Which He commanded our fathers, That they should make them known to their children;

6 - That the generation to come might know [them], The children [who] would be born, [That] they may arise and declare [them] to their children,

Psalms 78:7 - That they may set their hope in Elohim, And not forget the works of Elohim, But keep His commandments;

8 - And may not be like their fathers, A stubborn and rebellious generation, A generation [that] did not set its heart aright, And whose spirit was not faithful to Elohim.

And I actually have a photograph of a documented miracle healing that took place. There was a sister in the faith that was diagnosed with cancer. Actually, we passed this out at the Feast a few years ago, the results of cancer tests. And in one was she had cancer. We prayed for her.

A month later, the same test-- same exact test-- the cancer was gone. Nonexistent. They didn't even do any treatment. They did not do any treatment on her. None. We just prayed. So, yes, there are miracles today.

If you sign onto my e-mail list (just above the video screen, I have an e-mail list), if you sign up for it now (just click "submit," it will not interrupt the broadcast), I share testimonies of things that people have experienced, supernatural things. But that is not why I believe.

I can look at the natural world, and say, "That's supernatural!" I can look at the natural world, what they call the natural world. I say the whole thing is supernatural. It is all a miracle.

I have shown you incredible facts about the universe; the amazing things going on in the cells of your body; and the basic things like the hearing ear, the design of a leafhopper...

The amazing way Yahweh's Word has been preserved for thousands of years-- from the historical accuracy of the Scriptures to the internal witness of His Word-- and how amazing it all comes together in beautiful symphony and harmony; and the prophecies about the Messiah; the logical reasons why there is evil in the world...

The existence of the Jewish people and how they had to stay together for prophecy to be fulfilled; and the miracles I personally witnessed as a result in putting my faith and trust in Yahweh through Yahushua the Messiah.

I think of all these things, and I just say to myself, "Wow! Bless Yahweh, O my soul!" I know He loves me and I just love who He is.

Psalms 103:1 - <<[A Psalm] of David.>> Bless YAHWEH, O my soul; And all that is within me, [bless] His holy name!

2 - Bless YAHWEH, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits:

3 - Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases,

Psalms 103:4 - Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,

5 - Who satisfies your mouth with good [things, So that] your youth is renewed like the eagle's.

Psalms 103:6 - YAHWEH executes righteousness And justice for all who are oppressed.

7 - He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the children of Israel.

8 - YAHWEH [is] merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy.

Psalms 103:9 - He will not always strive [with us], Nor will He keep [His anger] forever.

10 - He has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor punished us according to our iniquities.

Psalms 103:11 - For as the heavens are high above the earth, [So] great is His mercy toward those who fear Him;

How high are the heavens above the earth? No one can find the end, you know? The person who wrote this psalm was inspired by the Spirit of Elohim who knew that the heavens have no end. There is no end to it. He puts us in this eternally large dwelling place. And then he says:

Psalms 103:12 - As far as the east is from the west, [So] far has He removed our transgressions from us.

If you look at a globe, if you were to go north, eventually you would hit the North Pole and then you would go south, right? Because the earth spins on an axis. And so, you have the North Pole. You go to the north. You go to the North Pole. And then you go south. So if you go north, you will eventually hit south.

Not so with east and west. If you were to go eternally east, you would never stop going east. If you get on an airplane and fly east, when would you stop flying east? Never! You could go around the globe and circle it 50,000 times and never stop going east. The same thing as west. And so, actually, east and west are eternally apart from each other.

And Yahweh, who created the heavens and the earth, knew that. These Scriptures were not... yes, they were written by men... but they were received by the Spirit, and they were inspired by the Spirit. There are so many things like this in the Scriptures, but as far as the east is from the west, so far He has removed our transgressions from us.

Psalms 103:13 - As a father pities [his] children, [So] YAHWEH pities those who fear Him.

14 - For He knows our frame; He remembers that we [are] dust.

Psalms 103:15 - [As for] man, his days [are] like grass; As a flower of the field, so he flourishes.

16 - For the wind passes over it, and it is gone, And its place remembers it no more .

17 - But the mercy of YAHWEH [is] from everlasting to everlasting On those who fear Him, And His righteousness to children's children,

Psalms 103:18 - To such as keep His covenant, And to those who remember His commandments to do them.

Beautiful! What are His commandments? He is telling us, "This is how you love each other. This is how you love Me." That is what His commandments are all about-- how to love.

Just like we have rules in our society: "Don't drive so fast. You will hurt somebody." It is because the rules of society teach us to love. The same is true with Yahweh's rules-- to teach us to love.

Psalms 103:19 - YAHWEH has established His throne in heaven, And His kingdom rules over all.

20 - Bless YAHWEH, you His angels, Who excel in strength, who do His word, Heeding the voice of His word.

21 - Bless YAHWEH, all [you] His hosts, [You] ministers of His, who do His pleasure.

Psalms 103:22 - Bless YAHWEH, all His works, In all places of His dominion. Bless YAHWEH, O my soul!

And whether you realize it or not, Yahweh is continually serving you and doing things for you. You owe all that you are to Him-- the air you breathe, the food you eat. Everything you have, everything you are, is because of Him and because of His love and His service to you. That is why you have it. That is why it exists.

And He has incredible, amazing promises for those who are willing to love Him back, to serve Him back, to give back, to be thankful for what He has done.

And He tells us in Zephaniah 3:14:

Zephaniah 3:14 - Sing, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O Israel! Be glad and rejoice with all [your] heart, O daughter of Jerusalem!

15 - YAHWEH has taken away your judgments, He has cast out your enemy. The King of Israel, YAHWEH, [is] in your midst; You shall see disaster no more.

16 - In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem: "Do not fear; Zion, let not your hands be weak.

Zephaniah 3:17 - YAHWEH your Elohim in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet [you] with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing."

HalleluYah! It is because in the presence of Yahweh there is joy forever more. Is it any wonder that some of the most joyful moments is when we are praising His name?

We have already seen so many promises be fulfilled already. We can rejoice in what He is going to do. He will swallow up death in victory He says.

Psalms 16:11 - You will show me the path of life; In Your presence [is] fullness of joy; At Your right hand [are] pleasures forevermore.

Beautiful, beautiful promises. And He will fulfill them. He will do them.

Isaiah 35:10 - And the ransomed of YAHWEH shall return, And come to Zion with singing, With everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness, And sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

We will sing, also! This world we live in is all temporary. It is all temporary. So what are we going to hang onto? The temporary things? Or the eternal things that last forever? That is the question.

Revelation 7:12 - saying: "Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom, Thanksgiving and honor and power and might, [Be] to our Elohim forever and ever. Amen."

13 - Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, "Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?"

14 - And I said to him, "Sir, you know." So he said to me, "These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

Because He bore our iniquities.

Revelation 7:15 - "Therefore they are before the throne of Elohim, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them.

16 - "They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat;

17 - "for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And Elohim will wipe away every tear from their eyes."

Beautiful promises. No more crying. No more sorrow.

Revelation 21:1 - Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea.

2 - Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from Elohim, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

He has been spending two thousand years preparing this place. It only took Him six days to create everything you see. Two thousand years...

Revelation 21:3 - And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of Elohim [is] with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. Elohim Himself will be with them [and be] their Elohim.

Because we have chosen that we want to walk in love toward our Creator and toward one another. And, therefore, we will live with Him. We have made the choice.

We want to live with Him. We want to be like Him. We want to be loving like Him. And so, all these promises are for those who are willing to look at the world around them, and say, "This is amazing! Who made all this? I want to find out who it is."

Find Yahweh and serve Him and receive His plan of salvation through Yahushua and walk in love.

Revelation 21:4 - "And Elohim will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away."

5 - Then He who sat on the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new." And He said to me, "Write, for these words are true and faithful."

Wow! What amazing promises we have. And it all makes sense. Yahweh wants to find out who is going to really love, and the ones who really do love, that is who will dwell with Him forever. So remember His words.

And if we want the joy of Yahweh to be in us and His strength to be in us, to have One who will help us in our difficulties in this earth... whether you are a believer or an unbeliever, you are going to face difficulties, because we live in a fallen world where lots of people don't choose love.

But through all this we have hope in His promises. We have help for the present.

And if we are willing to set our minds on the things above, not the things of the earth, because greater are the things that Yahweh has promised us and we live in those promises, we can rejoice when we go through trials-- because we have this thing just ahead of us that is unspeakably amazing.

And we look at all these things, and we just say, "Wow!" you know? "Yahweh be magnified!"

Psalms 40:16 - Let all those who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; Let such as love Your salvation say continually, "YAHWEH be magnified!"

If you love salvation, if you love the idea of eternal life, we see the consistency of His Scriptures and the fulfillments of the prophecies that have taken place already, and we can have assurance they will continue to be just what Scripture says.

Things are going to happen just as Scripture says. They always have and they always will.

And that He is offering for us, if we only turn away from what we know is wrong and turn toward what we know is right, and be open to Him teaching us more things about what is right and good and just, what is love, what is kindness, and yield ourselves to HIS definition of what righteousness is and right and good is.

Rather than man's own ideas, who has very short-lived memories about the past and the mistakes of histories past.

If we are willing to yield to His definitions of love, which are revealed in the commandments, and to walk in them to the best of our understanding-- and if we fail, we have One who, because He died for us, is willing to forgive us and treat us like one of His children-- if we make a mistake, we can get back up and try again.

If we are willing to enter into that relationship with our Father and His Messiah and receive Yahushua as the One who paid your debt that you owed, that punishment you deserve for the wrongs that you have committed against our Creator and against His creation, He will receive you and love you.

A very simple decision, a no brainer for me. Turn away from wrong and receive Yahushua the Messiah. No one else is worthy of our trust anyway. Man will fail us every time. Let's be thankful and receive what Yahweh has done and respond to Him with yielding ourselves to His will knowing He is greater than we are, obviously.

And listen, if you have not yet given your life to Yahweh and came to repentance and faith in Yahushua the Messiah, I invite you to do it. Today is the day of salvation. If you believe Yahweh is calling you right now, I urge you, don't turn away that call, because He may not call again.

There may be a reason you are listening to this study today, and He may or may not call you again. And so, answer His call while there is still hope and while you still live. Tomorrow is not promised to you. No one owes you anything.

So I implore you, enter into eternal life, a place where peace and joy replaces destress and sadness, a life where whatever negative experiences you go through will be turned in for your good in the end.

I feel like I am talking to someone today. If that is you, I invite you to join with me in prayer. Father Yahweh, Your creation is awesome. This world that You have created is awesome. This body that we dwell in is amazingly awesome. You are awesome. Your Word is awesome. Everything about You is amazing.

Your love is amazing. Your promises are amazing. Your creation is amazing. Your Word is amazing. And I humble myself before You. We all humble ourselves before You and declare You alone are worthy of our trust and we want to make our boast in You.

And we receive Your Son, Yahushua the Messiah, as the One through whom we receive salvation because of what He has done for us. He has loved us in spite of our lack of love toward Him. And we turn away from all wrong doing, from all manner of sin, and yield our will to Your perfect, amazing and awesome will.

And now we want to know more about You. We want to know who You are, what You are about. Teach us in Your Word. Let us open Your Word and continue to see wondrous, wondrous things from Your holy Word. And forgive us where we have failed to do Your will. And strengthen us to do Your will from this time forth and forever more.

May You, Yahweh Elohenu, Yahweh our Mighty One, who is worthy of all praise, fulfill it for all who are within the listening of my voice. Abba Yahweh, have mercy on all of us. Thank You for the relationship we have with You. Thank You for freedom from guilt.

Now nothing we have ever done can be held against us because You hold the record books and only Your will, Your records, will stand forever.

And now we praise You, for truly Yours is the Kingdom and the power and the glory and the honor, and all majesty, honor and worship belongs to You, Yahweh our Mighty One, forever and ever.

In Yahushua's name. Amein.
