"New Moon of the 7th Month - Yom Teruah"

EliYah's message:

HalleluYah! Blessed be the name of Yahweh. It is Yom Teruah! And we have photographic evidence of Yom Teruah occurring here in Ava/Mansfield, Missouri, area. And we do have some reports elsewhere.

I believe South Carolina is one of them. Brother Yakov/Hallman Family said that they saw the New Moon. So that is a good report. And looking elsewhere, we have the Commonwealth of Dominica. And it was also seen in Africa. I don't know if you go by that or not.

And I do have, on my Facebook page, the photograph of the New Moon posted there. And an easy way to remember the Facebook page is: facebook.com/PraiseYahweh. And that is all you have to do and you are in.

So, anyway, I guess I will show you the photo that we have. We have several photos, actually. This is the first one. Hopefully, you can see it well enough on your resolution. But I do have, in case you cannot see it very well, some other photos. You can kind of see it there if you have good resolution and a good connection.

But here are some initial attempts to photograph, and that did not go too well. And then I saw this (a little sliver of light). HalleluYah! And so, I zoomed in there a little bit. That is a zoomed-in version. I wouldn't see it that close with the naked eye. But that is zoomed in. And here you can see it if you have good resolution.

I found that this is probably my best picture right here. I took a number of pictures as you can see. So I thought this one looked the best for our official New Moon photo. So, we are good!

That means tonight begins Yom Teruah. And as we had mentioned previously, since today is the first day of the seventh month, we will have the tenth day of the seventh month occurring on the day called October the 5th. And then, of course, the Feast of Tabernacles on October the 10th through the 17th, being the Last Great Day.

So the Holy Days would be on those days, and I hope you can join us for the Feast of Tabernacles here in Missouri. We are excited to have that and host that. Praise Yahweh! It is His festival. That is our mentality through all of this, and we are going to glorify Him and pray that He visits us with His Spirit throughout the Feast.

So that is the New Moon report. It was not seen in Israel. Multiple witnesses looked. The reports I got, in Israel it was not seen. So, if you are an Israel sighting kind of person-- you only go by sightings that are in Israel-- then it would not be Yom Teruah for you.

But I am looking here to see any other reports that may have come through. Chad Hammond in Winder, Georgia saw the New Moon tonight. So that is the blessing of Internet. We can share New Moon Reports with each other.

Here is a pretty good picture of what a crescent moon would look like. And, of course, here is my picture. There is the difference. You have to have a pretty good high New Moon to get one this dark. But it was after sunset. It was about 37 minutes after sunset that I was able to see this New Moon.

Here is our situation in the United States, as you can see. The darkest green is easily visible to the naked eye. Should not have a problem seeing it, and, of course, we are in that dark green zone here in Missouri. So it is no problem for us.

As you can see here, "visible under perfect atmospheric conditions" is going to be this band right here (northern United States and parts of southern Canada). And that streaks all the way across. So if you had really good, clear skies, you should be able to still see it.

Up in this band, you probably need a pair of binoculars to find the moon, but then you would be able to see it after you found it with binoculars. Now I don't know if we want to go by that. They did not have binoculars in the old days.

And then, here is Israel. Israel is this tiny little piece of land right here in the middle-- bulls eye. And that is in the "visible under perfect atmospheric conditions," which, apparently, it wasn't in Israel. I know from being there, they get a lot of dust in the atmosphere sometimes.

And then, here is the entire planet (the visibility chart). And if you are over here in New Zealand, it may be a little more difficult for you to see. If you are anywhere in this lighter green band, that is the difficult spots to see the New Moon. Everywhere else is very good visibility.

Anyway, I am going to check something here. Someone told me that it was not seen by Yakov. I am sorry, it was Aki Shaul in Alabama that saw the New Moon. So other people had clouds. People on the East Coast seemed to have clouds.

So in Alabama, it was seen there. I do have a positive report there. And in Georgia, it was, as well, seen there. So praise Yahweh. And, also, I am going to go ahead and check some other places and see if I can find any positive reports.

In Trinidad it was too cloudy. It was seen easily in South Africa. Those are a couple more reports and I am sure we will get some other reports as time goes on. Let's see here if I can find anything else... Nothing there. So we will keep you posted here as people along further West of us begin looking for the New Moon.

A lot of people had clouds. It was seen in McAllen, Texas. They did have some clouds there, but they were able to get through the clouds and were able to see the New Moon. So that is another report for you.

Doing a refresh... Nothing there. So that is the current status of our New Moon. For those who are just joining us, here is the picture of the New Moon seen here in Missouri where my location is. Ava/Mansfield, MO, area is where I took the picture. And we have positive reports in Africa, in Dominica, Texas, Georgia and Alabama.

So that is the status right now. In Australia, in Adelaide, they had the clouds there and were not able to see the New Moon. But tonight, here where I live, we are calling it Yom Teruah, and we praise Yahweh for this festival.

And this is the New Moon chart, and you can see everything fully there and how the chart functions. And if you are wondering where you might find these charts, I can give you the web address.

I have a new link there, actually, at the very top of the main page of EliYah.com, and on the top of that page, you will see "New Moon," and it will take you right to all the charts. And then, back to this, if you are wondering-- New Moon visibility chart: http://www.eliyah.com/newmoon/

That easy and you are in.

All right... we are going to go ahead and share a video and then encourage people to call in. If you are interested in calling in and sharing a shofar blast with me, I will join you. But first, we are going to go ahead and share a song here from the library, and it is: "Like Mount Tsion." HalleluYah! (Playing song from James Block.)

Blessed be the name of Yahweh. HalleluYah! If you are just joining us, we did see the New Moon here in Missouri. So we are good in that department. For those wanting a photo, got one for you. I think that is the best photo I have of all of them. I do have some zoomed in, but as far as it looked to the naked eye, that is how it pretty much looked.

I mean, I could see it pretty easily here. We have a little spot that is nice and high. Other than that hill being there, it is pretty good.

Anyway, I am going to go ahead and call Jenna back, who was calling and, I think, wanting to share some live music with us. And also the DeLapp family is wanting to call in and share music for Yom Teruah.

EliYah: Shabbat Shalom!

Jenna: Shabbat Shalom, everybody!

EliYah: HalleluYah! And did you all see the New Moon?

Jenna: Yes, we did. We saw it.

EliYah: You did see it. All right! Fantastic! So we have another report there from Texas. And you are in Plano, Texas, right?

Jenna: Yes.

EliYah: Okay. All right. So I am ready when you are. If you want to share some music, we would love to hear it.

Jenna: All right... "These are the Days of Eliyah." (Jenna singing.)

Jenna: I have one more.

EliYah: All right. HalleluYah!

(Jenna singing "Blessed be Your Name.")

Jenna: HalleluYah!

EliYah: HalleluYah! Praise Yahweh!

Jenna: Praise Yahweh!

EliYah: Happy Yom Teruah to you and your family!

Jenna: To you, also.

EliYah: HalleluYah! Shalom, Shalom!

Jenna: Shalom!

EliYah: All right. I appreciate that.

And now we are going to go ahead and call the Ellis family, as well. They called and I presume they want to share some music with us. And also, the DeLapp family called in. We will call them up next.

So we are in the process of currently calling the Ellis family. And if they are ready, they will answer. If not, I guess they won't. Anyway, we are excited. Yom Teruah!

I am looking for someone to share a shofar blast with. And maybe, just maybe, it is the Ellis family. We will see.

EliYah: Are you with us?

Ellis family: We are with you.

EliYah: All right. We don't have any video, but we do hear you.

Ellis family: You don't have any video?

EliYah: No. No video right now. I have a black screen.

Ellis family: I am not sure how to turn the video on if you did not answer with video... There it is! How is that?

EliYah: There we go. All right! There we go. Praise Yahweh! Shalom, Shalom! It looks like you have shofars ready.

Ellis family: We do! I was out looking for the moon when you called, so I was a little bit off guard. But we are very honored to share a shofar blast with you.

EliYah: All right. (Shofar blast.)

Ellis family: Praise Yahweh!

EliYah: Praise Yahweh! HalleluYah! That was good. Good job. Praise Yahweh! That is what it is all about... blowing the shofar. So I have the shofar here, and you have the shofar there. And I presume you have some music and shouts of praise to Yahweh as well. Is that right? No? I don't see the guitar. There he goes! All right. Awesome!

EliYah: So were you able to see the New Moon there, yet?

Ellis family: No, I was out looking for it and we may not be able to see it. To the east of us are the Sierra Nevada Mountains, and they are pretty much covered in a layer of clouds right now. So we will keep our eye open, but it is pretty well covered out there to the west.

EliYah: All right. How are festival preparations going?

Ellis family: We are busy, but blessed.

EliYah: Busy, but blessed. All right. I know the feeling.

It looks like everyone is getting ready there. Here we go. A little bit of feedback coming through.

(Ellis family singing "Our El is Greater.")

EliYah: HalleluYah! Blessed be Yahweh!

Ellis family: Do we have time for another one?

EliYah: Probably don't. We are running a little bit long and we have one more call to make.

Ellis family: Okay. Praise Yahweh!

EliYah: Praise Yahweh! Thank you for sharing, Brother.

HalleluYah! Good to see all of them. What a blessing! And we are going to call one more here, and then we do need to move forward to our study portion.

I believe we have the DeLapp family. And here we go!

EliYah: Praise Yahweh! Shabbat Shalom!

Sady DeLapp: Hello! Shabbat Shalom!

EliYah: You know, this is the one time per year that I can have a New Moon broadcast, and say, "Shabbat Shalom!"

Sady DeLapp: HalleluYah! Okay, guys, go for it! (DeLapp children blowing shofars.) I have to turn off my background here. Can you hear us?

EliYah: We hear you just fine. I heard a shofar blast by little ones. HalleluYah!

DeLapp family: (More shofar blowing.)

EliYah: Good job! Praise Yahweh!

Sady DeLapp: HalleluYah!

Gabriel DeLapp: Can Daddy do it?

Sady DeLapp: We are a loud house tonight.

EliYah: That is what Yom Teruah is all about.

(Gabriel DeLapp blowing the shofar.)

Sady DeLapp: There is Daddy going for it. HalleluYah!

EliYah: Sounds wonderful. HalleluYah!

DeLapp family: Praise Yahweh!

Sady DeLapp: We have so much to rejoice in this Yom Teruah. We had our baby boy, Zimri David.

EliYah: Yay! All right!

Sady DeLapp: Daddy is going to go get him right now. He is sleeping. Yes. HalleluYah! He is amazing. He was 7 lbs. 12 oz. He came fast. It was incredible. We had Simcha last Shabbat. Our brother, Garrett Moore, was giving the message, and his wife. They were actually giving their testimony about the last two years of their life.

Sady DeLapp: It was so awesome. We were able to stay through it until it ended. Then we got home as fast as we could. And he came around 5:45. Everything started up around 3 o'clock and he came at 5:45 on Shabbat. So it was beautiful. It was fast. It was appointed. Yahweh did everything.

EliYah: That is precious.

Sady DeLapp: And we saw Yahweh's hand. Just a house full of shalom. And our children were just elated to just have their new baby brother. So Yahweh must have a big plan for us to have four sons.

EliYah: Wow!

Sady DeLapp: So we are excited.

EliYah: You are building an army.

Sady DeLapp: HalleluYah! We wanted to sing "Shabbat Shalom" to everybody out there for Yom Teruah and to celebrate this Feast.

EliYah: Definitely. Sounds good.

Sady DeLapp: HalleluYah! One that, someday soon, we will get to experience with Yahushua that will be fulfilled. So we are so excited!

EliYah: HalleluYah!

Sady DeLapp: All right, here we go. (DeLapp family singing "Shabbat Shalom.") On Yom Teruah, Shabbat Shalom! Blow your trumpets loud!

EliYah: Now that is Davidic dancing.

Sady DeLapp: HalleluYah! We have a lot of that.

Gabriel DeLapp: And Zimri David is not even walking.

Sady DeLapp: HalleluYah! Shabbat Shalom, everyone! Happy Yom Teruah! Yahweh be with all of you. And we will see those who are coming to Leasburg. We will see you like in two weeks.

EliYah: All right. HalleluYah! Looking forward to seeing you all. Shabbat Shalom!

All right. Praise Yahweh! It is good to see the DeLapp family. And congratulations on the new member of the DeLapp family. What a blessing! That was last Shabbat, actually. A Shabbat baby. So praise Yahweh. It was a peaceful one, too. So it was a "Shabbat Shalom" baby, right?

You know, to me, that is real Davidic dancing-- just don't care, twirl around, praise Yahweh. No fancy steps necessary. But it is also good to learn a few dance steps. Of course, I dance like a two-by-four, so it doesn't do me any good.

One last shofar blast, and we are going to share a song here. And then we will go into some scriptures on the seventh month. And so, I will start this next song with a shofar blast. Here we go... (blowing the shofar... followed by songs "Rejoice!" by Tammy Robinson and "I want to Praise You!" by Bill Rogers).

Blessed be the name of Yahweh! HalleluYah! And it is officially the seventh month of Yahweh's calendar here in Missouri. We do have the picture of the New Moon for those of you interested and maybe missed it. There you go. And that was taken 7:37 P.M. this evening. That was when I first saw it.

And I think I was probably there another ten minutes or so. And it started to get low on the horizon, so I went ahead and left. Too much haze, as you can see. A little bit hazy out there.

If you want to see some close-up shots (maybe you don't have a real good connection), there it is. So the New Moon was definitely seen. It was visible easily by my naked eye without any binoculars or magnification. And so, there we go.

And we also have some reports from other locations. We have reports over Lake Lewisville, in Lewisville, Texas, and the Comfort family from Plano. Also seen in Louisiana at 7:31 P.M. And also seen in Winder, Georgia. And so, that is all good. Let's see if there is anybody else...

All right. We also have New Moon reports, positive sightings, in Africa. That is Namibia and South Africa. Seen by two witnesses in Johannesburg, South Africa, as well. We also have a report in Spring Hill, Florida, and Dominica, as well. The Commonwealth of Dominica it was seen. And in McAllen, Texas.

That is what we have right now at this moment, and I think Yosef is currently looking for the New Moon. So if you are wondering, we are in the seventh month of Yahweh's calendar.

This is what the New Moon might look like tonight. Actually, the crescent might be closer to the side. And then, here is the visibility charts. If you are in this light green, you would need to have "perfect atmospheric conditions" in order to spot the moon.

And the dark green would be an area where it is easily visible, as it says, here, "to the unaided eye." And then, here is the chart in Israel, which the reports in Israel are that they did not see the New Moon there. And since they did not see the New Moon, they are not going to keep Yom Teruah at this time. They are going to do it tomorrow night.

And so, here is, basically, the full map. These maps are available at: www.eliyah.com/newmoon. So, there we go. That is our report at this moment.

We also have confirmed sightings in Georgia and another family in Missouri and a sighting in Alabama. So we are good for this part.

We are going to go and get started on our study on the seventh month. And the seventh month of Yahweh's calendar does have a name to it. And you can find the name in 1 Kings chapter 8, verses 1 and 2. It says:

1Kings 8:1 - Now Solomon assembled the elders of Israel and all the heads of the tribes, the chief fathers of the children of Israel, to King Solomon in Jerusalem, that they might bring up the ark of the covenant of YAHWEH from the City of David, which [is] Zion.

2 - Therefore all the men of Israel assembled with King Solomon at the feast in the month of Ethanim, which [is] the seventh month.

That is actually in Hebrew the "moon" of Ethanim. And "Ethanim" is plural for "ethan," meaning "to endure." And "Ethanim," we see here, "enduring" is the meaning.

Lexicon: 0388 'Eythaniym {ay-thaw-neem'} Meaning: Ethanim = "enduring" 1) seventh Jewish month, corresponding to modern Oct. to Nov.; so named because permanent streams still flowed. Origin: plural of 0386;; n pr m Usage: AV - Ethanim 1; 1.

It is plural of 0386. "Ethan" means "perpetual," "constant," "perennial," "ever-flowing." And we see "strong" and "mighty" and "strength," and all those words.

Lexicon: 0386 'eythan {ay-thawn'} or (shortened) 'ethan {ay-thawn'} Meaning: 1) perpetual, constant, perennial, ever-flowing 1a) ever-flowing (of a stream) 1b) permanence, permanent, enduring (fig.) Origin: from an unused root (meaning to continue); TWOT - 935a; adj Usage: AV - strong 5, mighty 4, strength 2, hard 1, rough 1; 13.

And so, "enduring." And it is actually, it says, because "permanent streams still flowed" (in that seventh month).

And so, it is very dry in Israel during the summer. Their rains are mainly spring and fall. So the streams, many of them, would dry up, except for the "enduring" streams, the ones that would be "constant," that would be "perpetual." And they would remain flowing.

And I think, spiritually speaking, we know that the seventh month, Yom Teruah, is in reference to the fact that Messiah Yahushua is going to return at the last trump.

And since He is going to return at the last trump, and we have this memorial of blowing of trumpets-- obviously, pointing to Him and His return, and, also, I think, pointing back to the time when they surrounded Jericho and blew the trumpets and the kingdoms of this land of Canaan became the Kingdom of Yahweh...

At the last trump, at the shout of an archangel, the "teruah" of an archangel, Messiah Yahushua will be there. And He will cause the kingdoms of this world to become His kingdoms.

And so, "Ethanim." If we are willing to endure to the end, and we are found faithful at that last trump, Scripture says we will be hated by all for His name's sake.

Matthew 10:22 - "And you will be hated by all for My name's sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved.

But he who endures, with strength, to the end will be saved. And that is that last trump that we are going to have to endure until.

So tonight marks that memorial of trumpets. And in Leviticus chapter 23, verse 24, it says:

Leviticus 23:24 - "Speak to the children of Israel, saying: `In the seventh month, on the first [day] of the month, you shall have a sabbath-[rest], a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation.

25 - `You shall do no customary work [on it]; and you shall offer an offering made by fire to YAHWEH.'"

So a memorial of blowing of trumpets. If you have yourself a trumpet, great! If you do not have a trumpet, the word "teruah" can also mean "to shout." And so, we shout praises to Yahweh.

And that is exactly what we are going to be doing when Yahushua returns. When that trumpet sounds, we are going to be shouting. You know we are. So, HalleluYah for that!

Moving on to the next verses here, it says:

Leviticus 23:26 - And YAHWEH spoke to Moses, saying:

27 - "Also the tenth [day] of this seventh month [shall be] the Day of Atonement. It shall be a holy convocation for you; you shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire to YAHWEH.

28 - "And you shall do no work on that same day, for it [is] the Day of Atonement, to make atonement for you before YAHWEH your Elohim.

And so, "atonement" is "kippur." And "yom" is "day." And so, "Yom Kippur," you might notice on your calendar, but if you are going to follow the calendar that I think is more biblically based (looking for the New Moon), that is going to be here in the United States on October the 5th. And so, a double Sabbath will be taking place.

And then...

Leviticus 23:29 - "For any person who is not afflicted [in soul] on that same day shall be cut off from his people.

30 - "And any person who does any work on that same day, that person I will destroy from among his people.

31 - "You shall do no manner of work; [it shall be] a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

Leviticus 23:32 - "It [shall be] to you a sabbath of [solemn] rest, and you shall afflict your souls; on the ninth [day] of the month at evening, from evening to evening, you shall celebrate your sabbath."

33 - Then YAHWEH spoke to Moses, saying,

34 - "Speak to the children of Israel, saying: `The fifteenth day of this seventh month [shall be] the Feast of Tabernacles [for] seven days to YAHWEH.

That is going to start here in Missouri on October the 10th. Most people will be arriving at our festival location, if you want to join us, in Leasburg, Missouri, on October the 9th, so that evening they are prepared and will be staying in tents.

And so, "The fifteenth day of the seventh month [of Ethanim] shall be the Feast of Tabernacles for seven days to Yahweh."

Leviticus 23:35 - `On the first day [there shall be] a holy convocation. You shall do no customary work [on it].

36 - `[For] seven days you shall offer an offering made by fire to YAHWEH. On the eighth day you shall have a holy convocation, and you shall offer an offering made by fire to YAHWEH. It [is] a sacred assembly, [and] you shall do no customary work [on it].

Of course, our offerings are going to have to be spiritual offerings rather than physical offerings. And so, there will be lots of praise going on throughout the festival there, especially around the campfire at night and all around the tabernacle.

Leviticus 23:37 - `These [are] the feasts of YAHWEH which you shall proclaim [to be] holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire to YAHWEH, a burnt offering and a grain offering, a sacrifice and drink offerings, everything on its day --

38 - `besides the Sabbaths of YAHWEH, besides your gifts, besides all your vows, and besides all your freewill offerings which you give to YAHWEH.

39 - `Also on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the fruit of the land, you shall keep the feast of YAHWEH [for] seven days; on the first day [there shall be] a sabbath-[rest], and on the eighth day a sabbath-[rest].

That is the harvest festival, right?

Leviticus 23:40 - `And you shall take for yourselves on the first day the fruit of beautiful trees, branches of palm trees, the boughs of leafy trees, and willows of the brook; and you shall rejoice before YAHWEH your Elohim for seven days.

41 - `You shall keep it as a feast to YAHWEH for seven days in the year. [It shall be] a statute forever in your generations. You shall celebrate it in the seventh month.

42 - `You shall dwell in booths for seven days. All who are native Israelites shall dwell in booths,

Leviticus 23:43 - `that your generations may know that I made the children of Israel dwell in booths when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I [am] YAHWEH your Elohim.'"

So this word for "native Israelite" is "one arising up." When we went down into the baptismal waters, the old man perished. A new man, Yahushua dwelling in us, rose up. We are a new creation. And so, I see myself as a native Israelite or an Israelite who has been raised up.

And so, my heritage now is through Messiah. And so, I am a seed of Abraham. Galatians 3:29 says: "If you are Messiah's, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise."

Now, going back to the beginning of Genesis chapter 8, what happened in the seventh month?

Genesis 8:1 - Then Elohim remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the animals that [were] with him in the ark. And Elohim made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters subsided.

2 - The fountains of the deep and the windows of heaven were also stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained.

3 - And the waters receded continually from the earth. At the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters decreased.

So we are in that hundred and fifty days now, minus seventeen days.

Genesis 8:4 - Then the ark rested in the seventh month, the seventeenth day of the month, on the mountains of Ararat.

And so, on the seventeenth day (and this is actually during the Feast of Tabernacles), the seventeenth day, which, if you were to count it out, would be the third day of the Feast of Tabernacles-- the fifteenth being the first day... the sixteenth being the second day... the seventeenth being the third day.

And so, they endured until this seventh month when the ark rested.

Genesis 8:5 - And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month. In the tenth [month], on the first [day] of the month, the tops of the mountains were seen.

6 - So it came to pass, at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made.

So we know the story.

So that is one of the interesting biblical events that occurred during this seventeenth day of the seventh month.

Moving forward here. We read this earlier in 1 Kings 8, this month of Ethanim.

If we continue to read here, in verse 3, it says:

1Kings 8:3 - So all the elders of Israel came, and the priests took up the ark.

4 - Then they brought up the ark of YAHWEH, the tabernacle of meeting, and all the holy furnishings that [were] in the tabernacle. The priests and the Levites brought them up.

And so, they are establishing this in the seventh month. Today is the anniversary of this event. They are establishing the first temple. This is the first time the temple has ever been built.

1Kings 8:5 - Also King Solomon, and all the congregation of Israel who were assembled with him, [were] with him before the ark, sacrificing sheep and oxen that could not be counted or numbered for multitude.

6 - Then the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of YAHWEH to its place, into the inner sanctuary of the temple, to the Most Holy [Place], under the wings of the cherubim.

1Kings 8:7 - For the cherubim spread [their] two wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubim overshadowed the ark and its poles.

8 - The poles extended so that the ends of the poles could be seen from the holy [place], in front of the inner sanctuary; but they could not be seen from outside. And they are there to this day.

9 - Nothing [was] in the ark except the two tablets of stone which Moses put there at Horeb, when YAHWEH made [a covenant] with the children of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt.

1Kings 8:10 - And it came to pass, when the priests came out of the holy [place], that the cloud filled the house of YAHWEH,

11 - so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of YAHWEH filled the house of YAHWEH.

12 - Then Solomon spoke: "YAHWEH said He would dwell in the dark cloud.

1Kings 8:13 - I have surely built You an exalted house, And a place for You to dwell in forever."

14 - Then the king turned around and blessed the whole assembly of Israel, while all the assembly of Israel was standing.

15 - And he said: "Blessed [be] YAHWEH Elohim of Israel, who spoke with His mouth to my father David, and with His hand has fulfilled [it], saying,

1Kings 8:16 - `Since the day that I brought My people Israel out of Egypt, I have chosen no city from any tribe of Israel [in which] to build a house, that My name might be there; but I chose David to be over My people Israel.'

17 - "Now it was in the heart of my father David to build a temple for the name of YAHWEH Elohim of Israel.

18 - "But YAHWEH said to my father David, `Whereas it was in your heart to build a temple for My name, you did well that it was in your heart.

1Kings 8:19 - `Nevertheless you shall not build the temple, but your son who will come from your body, he shall build the temple for My name.'

20 - "So YAHWEH has fulfilled His word which He spoke; and I have filled the position of my father David, and sit on the throne of Israel, as YAHWEH promised; and I have built a temple for the name of YAHWEH Elohim of Israel.

21 - "And there I have made a place for the ark, in which [is] the covenant of YAHWEH which He made with our fathers, when He brought them out of the land of Egypt."

 1Kings 8:22 - Then Solomon stood before the altar of YAHWEH in the presence of all the assembly of Israel, and spread out his hands toward heaven;

23 - and he said: "YAHWEH Elohim of Israel, [there is] no Elohim in heaven above or on earth below like You, who keep [Your] covenant and mercy with Your servants who walk before You with all their hearts.

1Kings 8:24 - "You have kept what You promised Your servant David my father; You have both spoken with Your mouth and fulfilled [it] with Your hand, as [it is] this day.

25 - "Therefore, YAHWEH Elohim of Israel, now keep what You promised Your servant David my father, saying, `You shall not fail to have a man sit before Me on the throne of Israel, only if your sons take heed to their way, that they walk before Me as you have walked before Me.'

So there was a condition. And there was, obviously, Messiah who fulfilled that condition as He should have, right?

1Kings 8:26 - "And now I pray, O Elohim of Israel, let Your word come true, which You have spoken to Your servant David my father.

27 - "But will Elohim indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain You. How much less this temple which I have built!

28 - "Yet regard the prayer of Your servant and his supplication, O YAHWEH my Elohim, and listen to the cry and the prayer which Your servant is praying before You today:

1Kings 8:29 - "that Your eyes may be open toward this temple night and day, toward the place of which You said, `My name shall be there,' that You may hear the prayer which Your servant makes toward this place.

30 - "And may You hear the supplication of Your servant and of Your people Israel, when they pray toward this place. Hear in heaven Your dwelling place; and when You hear, forgive.

And that is actually why I like to pray toward Yerushalayim when I pray.

1Kings 8:31 - "When anyone sins against his neighbor, and is forced to take an oath, and comes [and] takes an oath before Your altar in this temple,

32 - "then hear in heaven, and act, and judge Your servants, condemning the wicked, bringing his way on his head, and justifying the righteous by giving him according to his righteousness.

1Kings 8:33 - "When Your people Israel are defeated before an enemy because they have sinned against You, and when they turn back to You and confess Your name, and pray and make supplication to You in this temple,

34 - "then hear in heaven, and forgive the sin of Your people Israel, and bring them back to the land which You gave to their fathers.

35 - "When the heavens are shut up and there is no rain because they have sinned against You, when they pray toward this place and confess Your name, and turn from their sin because You afflict them,

There it is... "When they pray toward this place."

1Kings 8:36 - "then hear in heaven, and forgive the sin of Your servants, Your people Israel, that You may teach them the good way in which they should walk; and send rain on Your land which You have given to Your people as an inheritance.

37 - "When there is famine in the land, pestilence [or] blight [or] mildew, locusts [or] grasshoppers; when their enemy besieges them in the land of their cities; whatever plague or whatever sickness [there is];

1Kings 8:38 - "whatever prayer, whatever supplication is made by anyone, [or] by all Your people Israel, when each one knows the plague of his own heart, and spreads out his hands toward this temple:

I like that... "When each one knows the plague of his own heart."

1Kings 8:39 - "then hear in heaven Your dwelling place, and forgive, and act, and give to everyone according to all his ways, whose heart You know (for You alone know the hearts of all the sons of men),

40 - "that they may fear You all the days that they live in the land which You gave to our fathers.

1Kings 8:41 - "Moreover, concerning a foreigner, who [is] not of Your people Israel, but has come from a far country for Your name's sake

42 - `(for they will hear of Your great name and Your strong hand and Your outstretched arm), when he comes and prays toward this temple,

43 - "hear in heaven Your dwelling place, and do according to all for which the foreigner calls to You, that all peoples of the earth may know Your name and fear You, as [do] Your people Israel, and that they may know that this temple which I have built is called by Your name.

There it is again... "That all people of the earth may know Your name." So even the foreigner is called to know the name of Yahweh no matter what language they speak.

1Kings 8:44 - "When Your people go out to battle against their enemy, wherever You send them, and when they pray to YAHWEH toward the city which You have chosen and the temple which I have built for Your name,

45 - "then hear in heaven their prayer and their supplication, and maintain their cause.

46 - "When they sin against You (for [there is] no one who does not sin), and You become angry with them and deliver them to the enemy, and they take them captive to the land of the enemy, far or near;

 1Kings 8:47 - "[yet] when they come to themselves in the land where they were carried captive, and repent, and make supplication to You in the land of those who took them captive, saying, `We have sinned and done wrong, we have committed wickedness';

To "repent," to "teshuvah," meaning "to turn."

1Kings 8:48 - "and [when] they return to You with all their heart and with all their soul in the land of their enemies who led them away captive, and pray to You toward their land which You gave to their fathers, the city which You have chosen and the temple which I have built for Your name:

This is where we are at. We are exiles and we are praying toward the land. Even though the temple may be destroyed, pray toward that, He says.

1Kings 8:49 - "then hear in heaven Your dwelling place their prayer and their supplication, and maintain their cause,

50 - "and forgive Your people who have sinned against You, and all their transgressions which they have transgressed against You; and grant them compassion before those who took them captive, that they may have compassion on them

51 - "(for they [are] Your people and Your inheritance, whom You brought out of Egypt, out of the iron furnace),

1Kings 8:52 - "that Your eyes may be open to the supplication of Your servant and the supplication of Your people Israel, to listen to them whenever they call to You.

53 - "For You separated them from among all the peoples of the earth [to be] Your inheritance, as You spoke by Your servant Moses, when You brought our fathers out of Egypt, O Master YAHWEH."

54 - And so it was, when Solomon had finished praying all this prayer and supplication to YAHWEH, that he arose from before the altar of YAHWEH, from kneeling on his knees with his hands spread up to heaven.

1Kings 8:55 - Then he stood and blessed all the assembly of Israel with a loud voice, saying:

56 - "Blessed [be] YAHWEH, who has given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He promised. There has not failed one word of all His good promise, which He promised through His servant Moses.

57 - "May YAHWEH our Elohim be with us, as He was with our fathers. May He not leave us nor forsake us,

1Kings 8:58 - "that He may incline our hearts to Himself, to walk in all His ways, and to keep His commandments and His statutes and His judgments, which He commanded our fathers.

We need that... "That He may incline our hearts to Himself."

1Kings 8:59 - "And may these words of mine, with which I have made supplication before YAHWEH, be near YAHWEH our Elohim day and night, that He may maintain the cause of His servant and the cause of His people Israel, as each day may require,

60 - "that all the peoples of the earth may know that YAHWEH [is] Elohim; [there is] no other.

1Kings 8:61 - "Let your heart therefore be loyal to YAHWEH our Elohim, to walk in His statutes and keep His commandments, as at this day."

62 - Then the king and all Israel with him offered sacrifices before YAHWEH.

63 - And Solomon offered a sacrifice of peace offerings, which he offered to YAHWEH, twenty-two thousand bulls and one hundred and twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the children of Israel dedicated the house of YAHWEH.

1Kings 8:64 - On the same day the king consecrated the middle of the court that [was] in front of the house of YAHWEH; for there he offered burnt offerings, grain offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings, because the bronze altar that [was] before YAHWEH [was] too small to receive the burnt offerings, the grain offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings.

65 - At that time Solomon held a feast, and all Israel with him, a great assembly from the entrance of Hamath to the Brook of Egypt, before YAHWEH our Elohim, seven days and seven [more] days -- fourteen days.

Fourteen days they did this. And it is right up to the Feast of Tabernacles, right?

1Kings 8:66 - On the eighth day he sent the people away; and they blessed the king, and went to their tents joyful and glad of heart for all the good that YAHWEH had done for His servant David, and for Israel His people.

1Kings 9:1 - And it came to pass, when Solomon had finished building the house of YAHWEH and the king's house, and all Solomon's desire which he wanted to do,

2 - that YAHWEH appeared to Solomon the second time, as He had appeared to him at Gibeon.

1Kings 9:3 - And YAHWEH said to him: "I have heard your prayer and your supplication that you have made before Me; I have consecrated this house which you have built to put My name there forever, and My eyes and My heart will be there perpetually.

4 - "Now if you walk before Me as your father David walked, in integrity of heart and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded you, [and] if you keep My statutes and My judgments,

Conditional.

1Kings 9:5 - "then I will establish the throne of your kingdom over Israel forever, as I promised David your father, saying, `You shall not fail to have a man on the throne of Israel.'

6 - "[But] if you or your sons at all turn from following Me, and do not keep My commandments [and] My statutes which I have set before you, but go and serve other gods and worship them,

7 - "then I will cut off Israel from the land which I have given them; and this house which I have consecrated for My name I will cast out of My sight. Israel will be a proverb and a byword among all peoples.

And that is ultimately what happened. They got kicked out of the land, didn't they? And so, that was a promise either way.

1Kings 9:8 - "And [as for] this house, [which] is exalted, everyone who passes by it will be astonished and will hiss, and say, `Why has YAHWEH done thus to this land and to this house?'

9 - "Then they will answer, `Because they forsook YAHWEH their Elohim, who brought their fathers out of the land of Egypt, and have embraced other gods, and worshiped them and served them; therefore YAHWEH has brought all this calamity on them.'"

We can read about this also in 2 Chronicles chapter 5, and, also, chapter 6. And we are going to read some more information on Yahweh's response coming from 2 Chronicles chapter 7.

And chapter 7 says:

2Chronicles 7:1 - When Solomon had finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of YAHWEH filled the temple.

2 - And the priests could not enter the house of YAHWEH, because the glory of YAHWEH had filled YAHWEH'S house.

2Chronicles 7:3 - When all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of YAHWEH on the temple, they bowed their faces to the ground on the pavement, and worshiped and praised YAHWEH, [saying]: "For [He is] good, For His mercy [endures] forever."

4 - Then the king and all the people offered sacrifices before YAHWEH.

5 - King Solomon offered a sacrifice of twenty-two thousand bulls and one hundred and twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the people dedicated the house of Elohim.

2Chronicles 7:8 - At that time Solomon kept the feast seven days, and all Israel with him, a very great assembly from the entrance of Hamath to the Brook of Egypt.

9 - And on the eighth day they held a sacred assembly, for they observed the dedication of the altar seven days, and the feast seven days.

10 - On the twenty-third day of the seventh month he sent the people away to their tents, joyful and glad of heart for the good that YAHWEH had done for David, for Solomon, and for His people Israel.

This all occurred during the Feast of Tabernacles. It occurred during Yom Kippur, or Day of Atonement. It occurred during Yom Teruah. This is all the anniversary right now of those events.

2Chronicles 7:11 - Thus Solomon finished the house of YAHWEH and the king's house; and Solomon successfully accomplished all that came into his heart to make in the house of YAHWEH and in his own house.

12 - Then YAHWEH appeared to Solomon by night, and said to him: "I have heard your prayer, and have chosen this place for Myself as a house of sacrifice.

13 - "When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people,

2Chronicles 7:14 - "if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Who are called by what? "My name." Conditional... "If My people" humble themselves, pray, seek His face, teshuvah (turn, repent) from their wicked ways, He will hear from heaven and forgive their sin.

Of course, we know the way through Whom He is going to forgive us is through Yahushua. And since we know that, we are responsible for believing that it is through Yahushua we receive forgiveness.

2Chronicles 7:15 - "Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer [made] in this place.

16 - "For now I have chosen and sanctified this house, that My name may be there forever; and My eyes and My heart will be there perpetually.

His eyes and His heart are still there, brothers and sisters. They are still there.

2Chronicles 7:17 - "As for you, if you walk before Me as your father David walked, and do according to all that I have commanded you, and if you keep My statutes and My judgments,

18 - "then I will establish the throne of your kingdom, as I covenanted with David your father, saying, `You shall not fail [to have] a man as ruler in Israel.'

19 - "But if you turn away and forsake My statutes and My commandments which I have set before you, and go and serve other gods, and worship them,

2Chronicles 7:20 - "then I will uproot them from My land which I have given them; and this house which I have sanctified for My name I will cast out of My sight, and will make it a proverb and a byword among all peoples.

21 - "And [as for] this house, which is exalted, everyone who passes by it will be astonished and say, `Why has YAHWEH done thus to this land and this house?'

22 - "Then they will answer, `Because they forsook YAHWEH Elohim of their fathers, who brought them out of the land of Egypt, and embraced other gods, and worshiped them and served them; therefore He has brought all this calamity on them.'"

These are the words we read earlier, the calamity that He brought.

So this month that we are entering into right now, this seventh month, is the anniversary, or the time, that we would mark as the time when the temple was established, when Noah and the ark rested on the Mount of Ararat. And so, those are some things to remember as we go through this seventh month.

Now there are some other things that happened. In 2 Chronicles 31, we are talking here, in context, about the days of Hezekiah. And this is a time when it is just after their Passover celebration. And it says:

2Chronicles 31:1 - Now when all this was finished, all Israel who were present went out to the cities of Judah and broke the [sacred] pillars in pieces, cut down the wooden images, and threw down the high places and the altars -- from all Judah, Benjamin, Ephraim, and Manasseh -- until they had utterly destroyed them all. Then all the children of Israel returned to their own cities, every man to his possession.

2 - And Hezekiah appointed the divisions of the priests and the Levites according to their divisions, each man according to his service, the priests and Levites for burnt offerings and peace offerings, to serve, to give thanks, and to praise in the gates of the camp of YAHWEH.

2Chronicles 31:3 - The king also [appointed] a portion of his possessions for the burnt offerings: for the morning and evening burnt offerings, the burnt offerings for the Sabbaths and the New Moons and the set feasts, as [it is] written in the Law of YAHWEH.

This is King Hezekiah.

2Chronicles 31:4 - Moreover he commanded the people who dwelt in Jerusalem to contribute support for the priests and the Levites, that they might devote themselves to the Law of YAHWEH.

2Chronicles 31:6 - And the children of Israel and Judah, who dwelt in the cities of Judah, brought the tithe of oxen and sheep; also the tithe of holy things which were consecrated to YAHWEH their Elohim they laid in heaps.

7 - In the third month they began laying them in heaps, and they finished in the seventh month.

The third month is going to be Pentecost. "And they finished in the seventh month." That is going to be Yom Teruah.

2Chronicles 31:8 - And when Hezekiah and the leaders came and saw the heaps, they blessed YAHWEH and His people Israel.

So that is the completion of this gathering of tithes, these possessions, these things that they chose to dedicate to Yahweh.

Now, of course, we know how the story goes. After Hezekiah there were some other kings that rose up, many of whom were wicked and they were kicked out of the land. They went into exile into Babylon. And then they were given permission after seventy years to return.

And they returned and we see, Ezra chapter 3, verse 1:

Ezra 3:1 - And when the seventh month had come, and the children of Israel [were] in the cities, the people gathered together as one man to Jerusalem.

2 - Then Jeshua the son of Jozadak and his brethren the priests, and Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel and his brethren, arose and built the altar of the Elohim of Israel, to offer burnt offerings on it, as [it is] written in the Law of Moses the man of Elohim.

This happened, again, in the seventh month. They gathered together and built the altar.

Ezra 3:3 - Though fear [had come] upon them because of the people of those countries, they set the altar on its bases; and they offered burnt offerings on it to YAHWEH, [both] the morning and evening burnt offerings.

4 - They also kept the Feast of Tabernacles, as [it is] written, and [offered] the daily burnt offerings in the number required by ordinance for each day.

5 - Afterwards [they offered] the regular burnt offering, and [those] for New Moons and for all the appointed feasts of YAHWEH that were consecrated, and [those] of everyone who willingly offered a freewill offering to YAHWEH.

And so, there they were, just as Solomon did, keeping the Feast of Tabernacles.

Ezra 3:6 - From the first day of the seventh month they began to offer burnt offerings to YAHWEH, although the foundation of the temple of YAHWEH had not been laid.

7 - They also gave money to the masons and the carpenters, and food, drink, and oil to the people of Sidon and Tyre to bring cedar logs from Lebanon to the sea, to Joppa, according to the permission which they had from Cyrus king of Persia.

We see, also, in Nehemiah, the Feast of Tabernacles and Yom Teruah. It says, in chapter 8:

Nehemiah 8:1 - Now all the people gathered together as one man in the open square that [was] in front of the Water Gate; and they told Ezra the scribe to bring the Book of the Law of Moses, which YAHWEH had commanded Israel.

See, there is the Water Gate also in the Bible.

Nehemiah 8:2 - So Ezra the priest brought the Law before the assembly of men and women and all who [could] hear with understanding on the first day of the seventh month.

Nehemiah 8:3 - Then he read from it in the open square that [was] in front of the Water Gate from morning until midday, before the men and women and those who could understand; and the ears of all the people [were attentive] to the Book of the Law.

4 - So Ezra the scribe stood on a platform of wood which they had made for the purpose; and beside him, at his right hand, stood Mattithiah, Shema, Anaiah, Urijah, Hilkiah, and Maaseiah; and at his left hand Pedaiah, Mishael, Malchijah, Hashum, Hashbadana, Zechariah, [and] Meshullam.

Nehemiah 8:5 - And Ezra opened the book in the sight of all the people, for he was [standing] above all the people; and when he opened it, all the people stood up.

I like this. "All the people stood up." Yeah! I like that respect.

Nehemiah 8:6 - And Ezra blessed YAHWEH, the great Elohim. Then all the people answered, "Amen, Amen!" while lifting up their hands. And they bowed their heads and worshiped YAHWEH with [their] faces to the ground.

7 - Also Jeshua, Bani, Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodijah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, Pelaiah, and the Levites, helped the people to understand the Law; and the people [stood] in their place.

8 - So they read distinctly from the book, in the Law of Elohim; and they gave the sense, and helped [them] to understand the reading.

And that word "reading" is "miqra" from which we get "convocation" or "gathering."

Nehemiah 8:9 - And Nehemiah, who [was] the governor, Ezra the priest [and] scribe, and the Levites who taught the people said to all the people, "This day [is] holy to YAHWEH your Elohim; do not mourn nor weep." For all the people wept, when they heard the words of the Law.

Very interesting. You would think that it would be a good thing, but they are crying because they have not kept these words. But he says, "Don't cry. Don't weep." Because, what is it? The Spirit of Yahweh is there, and it says, "When one sinner repents, there is joy in the presence of the angels and the Father."

And so, he is saying, "Don't weep," and, "We can count on His forgiveness that much that we don't have to weep. When we turn away from our sin, okay, there is a place for crying, but this is a Holy Day." And the point was, what was going to be their strength? I like what he says here. He says:

Nehemiah 8:10 - Then he said to them, "Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for [this] day [is] holy to our YAHWEH. Do not sorrow, for the joy of YAHWEH is your strength."

"The joy of Yahweh is your strength." Because there is joy in the presence of Yahweh when these men repented.

And so, after having repented, we can walk in that joy that our sins are forgiven, that our names are written in heaven and that we have Yahweh, who is merciful and kind and compassionate-- and desirous to save us and to cleanse us from all evil.

Nehemiah 8:11 - So the Levites quieted all the people, saying, "Be still, for the day [is] holy; do not be grieved."

And also, like he says: "Send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared." "Send portions" meaning: "Help the poor." Let the poor rejoice with you in your feasts.

Nehemiah 8:12 - And all the people went their way to eat and drink, to send portions and rejoice greatly, because they understood the words that were declared to them.

What a blessing to understand Yahweh's words! And that is why they were excited. They were very pleased and joyful because they understood the words. And if we have understanding, we also have reason to rejoice.

Nehemiah 8:13 - Now on the second day the heads of the fathers' [houses] of all the people, with the priests and Levites, were gathered to Ezra the scribe, in order to understand the words of the Law.

14 - And they found written in the Law, which YAHWEH had commanded by Moses, that the children of Israel should dwell in booths during the feast of the seventh month,

That is the Feast of Tabernacles coming up in fifteen days.

Nehemiah 8:15 - and that they should announce and proclaim in all their cities and in Jerusalem, saying, "Go out to the mountain, and bring olive branches, branches of oil trees, myrtle branches, palm branches, and branches of leafy trees, to make booths, as [it is] written."

16 - Then the people went out and brought [them] and made themselves booths, each one on the roof of his house, or in their courtyards or the courts of the house of Elohim, and in the open square of the Water Gate and in the open square of the Gate of Ephraim.

Nehemiah 8:17 - So the whole assembly of those who had returned from the captivity made booths and sat under the booths; for since the days of Joshua the son of Nun until that day the children of Israel had not done so. And there was very great gladness.

So this superseded anything that had ever been done before.

Nehemiah 8:18 - Also day by day, from the first day until the last day, he read from the Book of the Law of Elohim. And they kept the feast seven days; and on the eighth day [there was] a sacred assembly, according to the [prescribed] manner.

Now backing up here (verse 16), I noticed that they built these sukkahs, and they actually put them on the roof of their house and in their courtyards.

And so, if you cannot tent out, if you cannot come to Missouri or another festival to join with different brothers, there are ways that you can just set up a tent in your backyard. And we have had to do that before. It has been a long time since I have done that, but we have done that before.

And so, moving forward, another event in this seventh month was Hananiah the prophet was killed by Yahweh. He died.

Jeremiah 28:15 - Then the prophet Jeremiah said to Hananiah the prophet, "Hear now, Hananiah, YAHWEH has not sent you, but you make this people trust in a lie.

What happened contextually-- we do not have time to go over the context here-- but if you read the context, you will see that Hananiah the prophet opposed Jeremiah and predicted that this yoke of Babylon would be broken in two years.

I have found that false prophets like to set dates, and I have noticed that Yahweh does not usually set dates. Although, he did predict Judah would be in exile seventy years. But usually, He is not a date setter.

But anyway, the question arose: Who was correct? Was it Hananiah? or was it Jeremiah? Hananiah claimed he was right, but Jeremiah predicted that Hananiah would die during this year because he spoke in rebellion against Yahweh.

And so, they did not have to wait very long to find out that Hananiah was a false prophet and Jeremiah was a true one. He says:

Jeremiah 28:16 - "Therefore thus says YAHWEH: `Behold, I will cast you from the face of the earth. This year you shall die, because you have taught rebellion against YAHWEH.'"

17 - So Hananiah the prophet died the same year in the seventh month.

So, he was a gonner.

Another event we are going to look at is Haggai chapter 2.

Haggai 2:1 - In the seventh [month], on the twenty-first of the month, the word of YAHWEH came by Haggai the prophet, saying:

This is during the Feast of Tabernacles.

Haggai 2:2 - "Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and to the remnant of the people, saying:

3 - `Who is left among you who saw this temple in its former glory? And how do you see it now? In comparison with it, [is this] not in your eyes as nothing?

Haggai 2:4 - `Yet now be strong, Zerubbabel,' says YAHWEH; `and be strong, Joshua, son of Jehozadak, the high priest; and be strong, all you people of the land,' says YAHWEH, `and work; for I [am] with you,' says YAHWEH of hosts.

5 - `[According to] the word that I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt, so My Spirit remains among you; do not fear!'

This is the rebuilding of the temple, the second temple being built.

 Haggai 2:6 - "For thus says YAHWEH of hosts: `Once more (it [is] a little while) I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land;

7 - `and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory,' says YAHWEH of hosts.

Of course, Yahushua was going to come there, right?

Haggai 2:8 - `The silver [is] Mine, and the gold [is] Mine,' says YAHWEH of hosts.

9 - `The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,' says YAHWEH of hosts. `And in this place I will give peace,' says YAHWEH of hosts."

Of course, under Herod it was, and when Yahushua entered there it definitely was. And it might be argued, perhaps, the third temple of Yahweh will come and exceed in glory, but it seems like He is talking about that second temple there.

And that temple remained until Messiah. And then seventy years after, in 70 A.D., that temple, of course, we know was destroyed.

We have covered a lot of ground, but we are going to look at one more scripture here. John chapter 7 says:

John 7:1 - After these things Yahushua walked in Galilee; for He did not want to walk in Judea, because the Jews sought to kill Him.

2 - Now the Jews' Feast of Tabernacles was at hand.

So these are events that occurred during the Feast of Tabernacles.

John 7:3 - His brothers therefore said to Him, "Depart from here and go into Judea, that Your disciples also may see the works that You are doing.

4 - "For no one does anything in secret while he himself seeks to be known openly. If You do these things, show Yourself to the world."

5 - For even His brothers did not believe in Him.

John 7:6 - Then Yahushua said to them, "My time has not yet come, but your time is always ready.

7 - "The world cannot hate you, but it hates Me because I testify of it that its works are evil.

8 - "You go up to this feast. I am not yet going up to this feast, for My time has not yet fully come."

John 7:9 - When He had said these things to them, He remained in Galilee.

10 - But when His brothers had gone up, then He also went up to the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret.

11 - Then the Jews sought Him at the feast, and said, "Where is He?"

John 7:12 - And there was much complaining among the people concerning Him. Some said, "He is good"; others said, "No, on the contrary, He deceives the people."

13 - However, no one spoke openly of Him for fear of the Jews.

14 - Now about the middle of the feast Yahushua went up into the temple and taught.

John 7:15 - And the Jews marveled, saying, "How does this Man know letters, having never studied?"

16 - Yahushua answered them and said, "My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me.

17 - "If anyone wants to do His will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from Elohim or [whether] I speak on My own [authority].

John 7:18 - "He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who seeks the glory of the One who sent Him is true, and no unrighteousness is in Him.

19 - "Did not Moses give you the law, yet none of you keeps the law? Why do you seek to kill Me?"

20 - The people answered and said, "You have a demon. Who is seeking to kill You?"

John 7:21 - Yahushua answered and said to them, "I did one work, and you all marvel.

22 - "Moses therefore gave you circumcision (not that it is from Moses, but from the fathers), and you circumcise a man on the Sabbath.

23 - "If a man receives circumcision on the Sabbath, so that the law of Moses should not be broken, are you angry with Me because I made a man completely well on the Sabbath?

This is all during the Feast of Tabernacles.

John 7:37 - On the last day, that great [day] of the feast, Yahushua stood and cried out, saying, "If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.

That is the Last Great Day, which this year will be on what is called October the 17th.

John 7:38 - "He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water."

39 - But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet [given], because Yahushua was not yet glorified.

40 - Therefore many from the crowd, when they heard this saying, said, "Truly this is the Prophet."

John 7:41 - Others said, "This is the Messiah." But some said, "Will the Messiah come out of Galilee?

42 - "Has not the Scripture said that the Messiah comes from the seed of David and from the town of Bethlehem, where David was?"

43 - So there was a division among the people because of Him.

John 7:44 - Now some of them wanted to take Him, but no one laid hands on Him.

I find that kind of interesting because they misunderstood some things, but they did not ask Him, "Where were you born?" They just assumed that He came out of Galilee. And they were wrong.

John 7:45 - Then the officers came to the chief priests and Pharisees, who said to them, "Why have you not brought Him?"

46 - The officers answered, "No man ever spoke like this Man!"

47 - Then the Pharisees answered them, "Are you also deceived?

John 7:48 - "Have any of the rulers or the Pharisees believed in Him?

49 - "But this crowd that does not know the law is accursed."

50 - Nicodemus (he who came to Yahushua by night, being one of them) said to them,

John 7:51 - "Does our law judge a man before it hears him and knows what he is doing?"

52 - They answered and said to him, "Are you also from Galilee? Search and look, for no prophet has arisen out of Galilee."

So they just assumed He was from Galilee. And what follows this is the story of the woman caught in adultery. It is questionable whether that story is actually part of the book of John, mainly because it is not found in any copies of John older than the fifth century.

All the copies prior to the fifth century do not contain that in the book of John. And the one copy that does have it actually has some different readings in it that are different than others, and it might be somewhat spurious, but people copied it and then assumed it was part of the text.

And it may be the story is true of the woman caught in adultery. We are not sure, but that text never found a home until the fifth century. It is not originally part of the book of John. So I do not rely on that particular story to develop any doctrines.

Now, of course, there is also Zechariah chapter 14, which is not something that has already occurred in the seventh month of Yahweh's calendar, but it will occur. This is the future, which I am all excited about.

Zechariah 14:16 - And it shall come to pass [that] everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, YAHWEH of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.

And these are the ones who are left of the nations which came against Jerusalem.

This is talking about after Armageddon, after this time where Jerusalem is attacked and Yahweh comes and sets His feet on the Mount of Olives, splits it in two, the people run through the mountain valley, and there will be people whose flesh will waste away while they stand on their feet. Obvious future events that have never taken place.

And after that, Yahushua is going to what? He is going to set up the New Covenant or the Old Covenant? He is going to set up the New Covenant! And in this New Covenant, there is Feast keeping. The entire world will be keeping this.

Zechariah 14:17 - And it shall be [that] whichever of the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King, YAHWEH of hosts, on them there will be no rain.

And, of course, the Feast of Tabernacles being a harvest festival, if you are not going to be thankful for the harvest, then you will not have any rain to enjoy a harvest. It is kind of what He is going to do here.

Zechariah 14:18 - If the family of Egypt will not come up and enter in, they [shall have] no [rain]; they shall receive the plague with which YAHWEH strikes the nations who do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.

Gentiles. So the Feasts are for all nations. The temple was for all nations, right? The Torah is for all nations. It is not just for the Jewish people.

Zechariah 14:19 - This shall be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.

And so, when Yahweh's will is finally done on earth, as we have been praying, "Yahweh, let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven," when He finally comes, Messiah returns, and Yahweh's will is finally done on earth as it is in heaven, what is He going to do? The Feast of Tabernacles.

And so, we are keeping the Feast of Tabernacles and the other Feasts because we know that is our future. That is what is lying ahead for us. That is what we are looking forward to.

And while everybody keeps their Christmases and Easters and Thanksgivings-- and whatever other harvest festivals they come up with, the Halloweens and all that-- we are keeping a Feast that the entire planet will observe one day.

Yahweh's promises are true. The entire planet, every nation, will come up and keep the Feast of Tabernacles-- Jew or Gentile.

That tells me, number one, when Yahushua sets up the New Covenant, the New Covenant includes the Feast Days. It also tells me that the New Covenant, even though it is with Israel, all nations will partake of it through the Messiah Yahushua, our Savior, our King, our Master, the One through whom the temple is rebuilt-- and is being built-- to this day.

We are, collectively, a part of the temple of Yahweh, and for that we rejoice. His presence, His Spirit, dwells in us, and we look forward to that shofar blast of Yom Teruah-- that return of Messiah. HalleluYah! (EliYah blows the shofar.)

HalleluYah! Blessed be Yahweh! And thank you all for joining us for this New Moon broadcast of the seventh month of this Yom Teruah. I appreciate you joining us, and it is getting a bit late for those of you on the East Coast. I understand... 11:23 P.M. But this is the time when we decide to do it. And I appreciate you joining us.

I have enjoyed the phone calls and the feedback. I will go ahead and do one more quick review of the New Moon reports... C.J. from Los Angeles, CA, was able to see the New Moon. And so, we have that report. And we also have a report from Juan in Texas. And Michael in Texas. That is the Comfort family.

And... who else? It looks like that is it on that report. And then, some other reports. I am going to assume it was probably seen there in Arizona. That will be a really good spot, unless there were clouds, to be able to see that New Moon. So, we appreciate the reports that have come in so far.

I will go ahead and do one more last check here. We have... sighted in Ohio. And it is in Huber Heights, Ohio. We have the New Moon was seen by one person. So if we go back to our chart, it looks like we do have Ohio being among the places where the New Moon would be seen.

And what I look at is, if you are along this line, if they could see it, there is no reason why you would not be able to see it anywhere along that line.

And what else? It was also sighted in South Africa; Arlington, Texas, by ten people; Clyde, Texas, by two people; Farris, Texas, by two people. One person in Trinidad saw it. Trinidad and Tobago saw the New Moon.

And, also, Blacksburg, VA. We have one person who saw the New Moon in Blacksburg, Virginia, which looks like a pretty good spot to see the moon there. And then, in Dominica we have a sighting there as well. And so, it looks like it has been seen by quite a few folks, and those are the reports currently.

I do not have any other reports to give you at this time. One more check in one more place. I want to also check my Facebook page... and nothing else there. And if you are interested in going to my Facebook page, it is at: www.facebook.com/PraiseYahweh.

So, facebook.com/PraiseYahweh will get you to the Facebook page easily. And you can choose "like," and you will get updates every once in a while. I share some words and some little snippets. You can share it with friends and family and also keep up to date on a few things happening around EliYah.com as well.

Anyway, I appreciate all of you joining us. May Yahweh fill you with His Spirit, may Yahweh strengthen you on this Yom Teruah, and may Yahweh be with us as we enter this festival season and rejoice on this day.

If you have a shofar, use it! One last shofar blast to sign us off for today. And, here we go! (EliYah blows the shofar.)

HalleluYah! Blessed be the name of Yahweh!
