"The Kingdom that Comes...when the Last Trumpet Sounds"

EliYah's message:

We are ready to get started on today's message. Hopefully, most of you are aware that we have something called "the Feast of Trumpets" that will be getting started here very, very soon on the night of what is called "Monday night," or the 17th.

In light of that, I wanted to share a study somewhat similar to what I shared a year ago, but I have some different Scriptures we are going to go over.

The study that we want to talk about (and the topic we want to discuss I feel is a very important one) is understanding exactly what the Kingdom is when we hear the words, "Repent, the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!" "The Kingdom this..." "The Kingdom that..."

You know, the book of Matthew talks about and mentions the word "kingdom" over fifty times, so it is a major, major topic Yahushua talked about. And so, what is the Kingdom? What will the Kingdom be like when, as we pray, "Our Father in heaven, Your Kingdom comes"? So our topic today is: The Kingdom that Comes... When the Last Trumpet Sounds.

Now, for those of you observing the Feast of Trumpets (I hope most of you are, if not all) coming up, if you look up in the sky on the night of the 17th, called Monday night, you will find this crescent moon if you look in the western sky within about an hour after sunset.

Actually, if you look much later than 45-minutes to an hour, you are going to be running late. So you have to catch it-- it is going to be really low on the horizon-- and look for this new moon.

Then when you find the new moon, assuming you do, then get your shofar out, which is interestingly shaped like one of these (the new moon is shaped like a shofar). Then you will be able to blow the shofar and give praise to Yahweh for the return of the Messiah and the promises of the Kingdom to be.

What are those promises? What are the things that we can look forward to? What are the things that His Word tells us we can come to expect? Those are very important questions. I mean, isn't this the joy that is set before us? Isn't this the hope of Israel? Isn't this the hope of all of us? Isn't this something that we think about almost every day?

You know, we are willing to endure the hardships of the current age and the difficulties, and we are willing to strive against sin because we love our Father in heaven. And we know about His promises. Even Yahushua, for the joy set before Him, endured the tree.

And so, many teach, "Well, the Kingdom of Yahweh is at hand! You must repent! The Kingdom of Yahweh is coming!" And so, when it is preached about Yahweh's Kingdom, do we know what that Kingdom really is?

The Church, of course, is looking for Messiah to return, but I would dare say (and I don't mean to sound arrogant), but I don't know how many really understand what is going to happen when Messiah returns. Very few really spend much time studying that out.

The truth is, if they did study it out, actually, their theology would be shaken to the core. We need to understand that when it comes to these things, there are some things written in what is called "the Old Testament" that significantly challenges traditional theology.

When people begin to ask in these kinds of questions, a very common pastoral response from those who are into traditional theology would be, "Well, you don't need to worry about those things. That is all the Old Testament. If you spend too much time in the Old Testament, you are going to get confused.

"We are a New Testament Church. We need to focus on the New Testament."-- Because you see, their theology, which they think comes from the New Testament, is contradictory to the rest of Scripture.

Now, I would acknowledge it is true to some degree that there are some things in the future we are not really sure about.

1John 3:2 - Beloved, now we are children of Elohim; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.

3 - And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

Are we willing that even if we don't fully understand what we are going to be... are we willing to see?

"Well, I see I am going to be like Elohim. I am going to be like Messiah, who is created in the image of Elohim. I was created in the image of Elohim. And because of that, because I am created in the image of Elohim, I want to purify myself-- just like our Father in heaven is a pure Elohim.

"He is not corrupt. He is not perverse. I want to purify myself just as He is pure because I know that is my destiny. My destiny is that I will be like Him, for I will see Him as He is."

So, we can set our eyes on His promises, the things that are revealed. There are things about the Kingdom, the age to come, that are very, clearly, clearly revealed regarding our future.

Now, if we only have a "this world" mindset, then we are not going to think to purify ourselves. We are not going to have a motivation to walk in holiness.

But if we are not "this world" mindset, we are "next world" mindset-- the Kingdom that Yahweh is establishing on the earth, we have that in our minds-- then that is where we are going to end up focusing on. Therefore, we are going to end up being more like Messiah. So, we set our affections on those things which are above, don't we?

Now, there are mysteries in Scripture. We spoke last week about the mystery of inequity, and I shared how this mystery causes so many to be blinded to the truth that Yahweh's Law is applicable today. I want to talk today about another aspect of this mystery.

1Corinthians 2:7 - But we speak the wisdom of Elohim in a mystery, the hidden [wisdom] which Elohim ordained before the ages for our glory,

8 - which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Master of glory.

See, if they had this wisdom, this hidden wisdom, if they had known this mystery, they would never have crucified Him.

1Corinthians 2:9 - But as it is written: "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which Elohim has prepared for those who love Him."

So, we have to be lovers of Elohim.

How many have heard this verse? Many quote this verse 9 quite a lot. I hear this quite a lot, actually, and for a long time I was quoting that verse, and saying, "Well, yeah, there are a lot of mysteries, and we are just not going to know, yet."

But continue reading, here. Let's not stop with verse 9. Let's go into verse 10.

1Corinthians 2:10 - But Elohim has revealed [them] to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of Elohim.

So, this "eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man"-- okay, but, "Elohim has revealed them to us through His Spirit." And so, if we can tap into our spiritual nature, then we can have these things revealed to us about the future. But for now, and for many, it is a mystery, hidden wisdom, which Elohim ordained.

And so, what will this future Kingdom be like? Can the Spirit reveal to us, by the holy Word, by the Scriptures, more about this Kingdom than we thought we could find out?

Many today are expecting that when they die they will instantly be floating on clouds playing harps and entering through these pearly gates, and Peter in Heaven decides whether or not they enter.

There are a lot of false notions about what it is we really can expect when Yahushua returns. As is often the case, what is popular is not usually right, and what is right is not usually popular.

So, what is this Kingdom? We know Yahushua came to proclaim the Kingdom-- the Kingdom of Yahweh. Over and over again this was His emphasis.

Matthew 4:17 - From that time Yahushua began to preach and to say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

Matthew 4:23 - And Yahushua went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people.

And many times He would tell the people in parables about what this Kingdom was supposed to be like and who would be worthy of entering it. Over fifty times in the book of Matthew alone we read Yahushua speak of the Kingdom-- over and over again... over and over and over.

"Repent! The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand." "Repent! The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand."

He is preaching the Kingdom, preaching the good news of the Kingdom.

When He taught us to pray, He said:

Matthew 6:9 - "In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.

10 - Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as [it is] in heaven.

11 - Give us this day our daily bread.

How many of us believe that when Yahweh's Kingdom comes, His will is going to be done on earth as it is in heaven? I believe that.

Here we see in our prayer, that Yahushua modeled for us, that before we begin even asking for anything, we are declaring His holiness, the holiness of His name: "Hallowed be Your name." That name is Yahweh.

And He wants us to declare that His Kingdom... we want it to be established on the earth. We want His will to be done on the earth. Then we begin asking for things-- for daily bread, for forgiveness of sins, for deliverance from our enemies.

First we have to recognize who He is, the holiness that He is, and what He is trying to accomplish. And so, that is how we start our prayers, through mentioning His Kingdom and that His will being done on this earth. When His Kingdom comes, His will is going to be done.

We see this also going on in Acts chapter 8, verse 12.

Acts 8:12 - But when they believed Philip as he preached the things concerning the kingdom of Elohim and the name of Yahushua Messiah, both men and women were baptized.

Here we go. Kingdom and name again.

Acts 19:8 - And he went into the synagogue and spoke boldly for three months, reasoning and persuading concerning the things of the kingdom of Elohim.

Once again.

Acts 28:30 - Then Paul dwelt two whole years in his own rented house, and received all who came to him,

31 -

That is how the book of Acts ends, with Paul preaching the Kingdom of Elohim to all who will come to him and listen.

And so, we are reading something here, and it is the Kingdom that we are supposed to be proclaiming as believers. That is what is modeled for us-- the proclamation of the Kingdom. Are we doing that?

When the day of Yahweh comes, what is it that we would expect to see? What are we hoping for? What is it we are supposed to be telling our friends and neighbors?

Matthew 24, verse 29, talks about when this moment will begin, when Yahweh will establish His Kingdom on the earth.

Matthew 24:29 - "Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

So, after a time of tribulation.

Matthew 24:30 - "Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31 - "And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

So, the sound of the trumpet will mark the time when the Messiah will return. That is why we are talking about this topic today, because we are looking now at the Feast of Trumpets coming up this week, starting what is called Monday night.

1Thessalonians 4:16 - For the Master Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of Elohim. And the dead in Messiah will rise first.

Yom Teruah! Teruah means shouting, an alarm. It can be done with a trumpet. It can be done with our voice.

So, when Yahushua returns, we see that this awesome plan that He is preparing right now is going to happen. Yahushua is going to return, and something significant is going to happen when that trumpet sounds. It says the dead in Messiah will rise first.

Well, it is because of this that Jeremiah 23, verse 7 says:

Jeremiah 23:7 - "Therefore, behold, [the] days are coming," says YAHWEH, "that they shall no longer say, `As YAHWEH lives who brought up the children of Israel from the land of Egypt,'

8 - "but, `As YAHWEH lives who brought up and led the descendants of the house of Israel from the north country and from all the countries where I had driven them.' And they shall dwell in their own land."

That is that trumpet call that is going to gather Israel together to live in that land called Israel today.

And Galatians 3:29 says, and I share this often, that through Messiah we ARE the seed of Abraham. We don't look at these promises given to Israel and say that is for somebody else. We are the seed of Abraham. According to Romans 11, we are grafted into the olive tree. So, Yahweh will gather His children together.

We see this also in Revelation chapter 20. It says:

Revelation 20:1 - Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

2 - He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is [the] Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years;

And so, that trumpet call not only gathers us but also is a trumpet call to gather us for war where the enemy, the Devil and Satan, will be bound for a thousand years.

Revelation 20:3 - and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while.

4 - And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then [I saw] the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Yahushua and for the word of Elohim, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received [his] mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Messiah for a thousand years.

So, who are these folks here? These are the resurrected ones that we read about earlier in Matthew 24 and 1 Thessalonians 4:16, where He gathers together His elect. The dead in Messiah rise first. And we are going to reign with Him one thousand years.

Revelation 20:5 - But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This [is] the first resurrection.

We want to be part of that first resurrection, so when this grand deception comes down the pike from Satan the devil, we don't want to take this mark of the beast. It may not be a physical mark. I don't know.

All I know is if whatever anybody, anywhere, anyhow, someway, tells us it is okay to disobey Yahweh, we don't listen to them. Then we will know, by their fruits, we don't listen to them. So, we know that for sure.

Revelation 20:6 - Blessed and holy [is] he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of Elohim and of Messiah, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.

So, we will be priests if we are among those who refuse the mark of the beast. We will reign, and we will have access to the holy of holies-- the throne room in heaven.

Yes! We will be going to heaven, but we also will be able to be on earth as well, just as Messiah.

Revelation 3:21 - "To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.

It would be quite a large throne, I would say. But obviously we are going to have access to the earth. And we see that we are going to be reigning with the Messiah for a thousand years.

What are we going to do? Sit there and watch Him while He fires off commands? Or are we going to have some part in His government?

I don't know if He is going to appoint some of us to be governors over certain sections of land or how He is going to do it. We do see through a glass dimly, but we can see a little faint picture here. Yahweh is speaking to Israel in the flesh. He says:

Isaiah 30:20 - And [though] YAHWEH gives you The bread of adversity and the water of affliction, Yet your teachers will not be moved into a corner anymore, But your eyes shall see your teachers.

Who are they?

Isaiah 30:21 - Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, "This [is] the way, walk in it," Whenever you turn to the right hand Or whenever you turn to the left.

Now, are we going to be those teachers? Quite possibly.

Now, when Yahushua returns, it is just not going to be, "Oh, He gathers the elect and we all go and reign." There is something more significant to that.

It says that He is going to come with fire.

Isaiah 11:4 - But with righteousness He shall judge the poor, And decide with equity for the meek of the earth; He shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, And with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked.

There won't be people able to blame the devil for everything. He won't be there to tempt them. They will be of their own free choice without any spiritual satanic being tempting them. They will choose unrighteousness or they will choose righteousness.

And those who choose righteousness will not be destroyed. Those who choose unrighteousness will be destroyed.

Isaiah 11:5 - Righteousness shall be the belt of His loins, And faithfulness the belt of His waist.

We see, also, the nature of animals have changed. I guess since righteousness will reign, Yahweh doesn't have to place this fear in the animals that we're going to do some kind of evil thing to them. And so, they will be restored to the previous condition, which we had in the Garden of Eden, where it says:

Isaiah 11:6 - "The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, The leopard shall lie down with the young goat, The calf and the young lion and the fatling together; And a little child shall lead them.

So, then there will be peace between prey and predator because the predator animals will not be eating other animals. They will eat straw like an ox, as we see in other places.

Isaiah 11:7 - The cow and the bear shall graze; Their young ones shall lie down together; And the lion shall eat straw like the ox.

8 - The nursing child shall play by the cobra's hole, And the weaned child shall put his hand in the viper's den.

9 - They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain, For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of YAHWEH As the waters cover the sea.

See, now everyone will know about Yahweh. There is no need for these animals to be afraid of us or for us to be afraid of them. They are just going to change their nature, and that is going to be a lot better.

I mean, we have little kittens and cats that are here at our place, and every time one of those cats gets a hold of a chipmunk or something, our girls just go crazy. They hate that. They like the cats, but then they see the cats getting a hold of this innocent little animal.

It is sad. It really is. It is not really the way Yahweh wants it, as we can see, when His Word is done, when His Word is accomplished, when His will is done on the earth as it is in heaven.

Now, you notice here, it says that all the earth shall be full of the knowledge of Yahweh as the waters cover the sea. You know, this is one of the promises of the New Covenant.

Jeremiah 31:31 - "Behold, the days are coming, says YAHWEH, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah --

32 - "not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day [that] I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them , says YAHWEH.

Jeremiah 31:33 - "But this [is] the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says YAHWEH: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their Elohim, and they shall be My people.

34 - "No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, `Know YAHWEH,' for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says YAHWEH. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more."

So, they will all know Yahweh. The whole earth will be filled with the knowledge of Yahweh. That is because we, possibly, as their teachers, will teach them in the way they should go-- you see somebody going to the wrong way, and you immediately teach them.

But also, by His Spirit, He will place that Law in their minds just as he does for us. So, we receive this covenant, this New Covenant, where the Law of Yahweh will be written on our hearts and minds.

Now, just in case anyone might think that this Law spoken about in the New Covenant is not THE Law of Yahweh spoken through Moshe, that somehow this New Covenant Law excludes certain things like Sabbath Keeping and New Moons, let's read a verse about this:

Isaiah 66:22 - "For as the new heavens and the new earth Which I will make shall remain before Me," says YAHWEH, "So shall your descendants and your name remain.

23 - And it shall come to pass [That] from one New Moon to another, And from one Sabbath to another, All flesh shall come to worship before Me," says YAHWEH.

Very interesting. One New Moon to another, and one Sabbath to another. So, everyone will come and worship before Yahweh on those days, and especially this coming New Moon, the seventh New Moon of the year. Maybe what He was actually talking about, here-- that New Moon of the Feast of Trumpets.

So, when the Day of Yahweh finally comes, when His will is finally done on the earth as it is in heaven, it will come as a shock to many. First of all, because they think the Law is abolished.

But many will be incredulous, put it that way, over the fact that things like Sabbath observance, New Moons, which they may have thought were just merely foreshadows of the Messiah and those things are done away with, they are going to be amazed that they are going to have to come and worship before Him from one Sabbath to the next.

And we are not talking Sunday here. It is THE Sabbath. The only day that is called the Sabbath. The only day that is blessed and sanctified at creation.

We know this is true. We look at Colossians 2:16. It says: "Let no man therefore judge you in meat, drink, respect of a holy day, new moon or Sabbath days, which ARE a shadow of things to come, but the body of Messiah." So, don't let anyone judge you in these things except the body of the Messiah.

So, presently, these New Moons, the Sabbath days, they ARE a shadow. Today, they ARE a shadow of things to come because we can see very plainly that we are going to be observing them.

In fact, we are the judges of the world. It says, "Let no man judge you but the body of Messiah," because the body of Messiah will judge the world. It says:

1Corinthians 6:2 - Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world will be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

Of course we are not unworthy to judge the smallest matters. So, this is a very important thing.

I think I am going to go ahead and see if I can't put that Scripture here up on the screen just because I feel it is that important for us to examine. (If I can here... having a little trouble with my program loading up.) For those of you who are in the chat room, you can see that this has been posted to the chat room.

Okay, I will go ahead and post that up here. (Bear with me as I get this up on the screen.) So, what we have here is an important admonition that no one is to judge us in these matters.

Colossians 2:16 - So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths,

New Moon and Sabbaths are mentioned here. Don't let anyone judge you in those areas. And then it says (I am going to post the next verse up here):

Colossians 2:17 - which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Messiah (Lit. "body of Messiah").

They are a shadow. That means they presently are.

So, don't let anyone judge you in those things (food, drink, festival, new moon or Sabbaths), which are a shadow of things to come, but the body of Messiah.

So, these things are a shadow of things to come. It is very obvious because we see "from one New Moon to another" and "from one Sabbath to another" all flesh will come to worship before Him. And we can judge eachother because we are the body of Messiah.

1 Corinthians 6:2 - "Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world will be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters?"

So, we can judge one another in regards to a festival, but don't let those who are on the outside judge you for those things.

So, moving along here, we want to understand who it is that we are going to be ruling over. It says we are going to judge the world. Well, whom are we going to be judging? Whom are we going to be ruling over? Whom are we going to be reigning and directing? Who are the ones who are present?

I mean, when Messiah returns, is He going to destroy everybody that is wicked? Is He going to destroy all of them? No, He's not. When the Messiah returns, not every wicked man on the earth is going to be destroyed. I didn't say that just because I made it up. We are going to read that here in Zechariah chapter 14 and verse 1. It says:

Zechariah 14:1 - Behold, the day of YAHWEH is coming, And your spoil will be divided in your midst.

2 - For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem; The city shall be taken, The houses rifled, And the women ravished. Half of the city shall go into captivity, But the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

The elect.

Zechariah 14:3 - Then YAHWEH will go forth And fight against those nations, As He fights in the day of battle.

4 - And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, Which faces Jerusalem on the east. And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two, From east to west, [Making] a very large valley; Half of the mountain shall move toward the north And half of it toward the south.

Now, that has never happened. The Mount of Olives is still there. And in fact, there are Jewish people, because they read the Scripture, they want to be buried right there on the Mount of Olives. And there is a HUGE cemetery that is on that mountain.

So, there is this battle, what is called Armageddon. Everybody talks about it. And Messiah returns, and He is going to set His feet on the mountain there, and He is going to split it in two.

Now, in Acts chapter 1, verse 6, it says:

Acts 1:6 - Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, "Master, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?"

Look at the question they asked. Will You at this time do what? Restore the Kingdom. They were under Roman rule, see. They want to know, "Are we going to have the Kingdom back?" thinking Yahushua is going to reign and be the King there.

Acts 1:7 - And He said to them, "It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority.

8 - "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."

They had a lot of work to do, didn't they, before Yahushua would return? Yahushua said in one place this good news of the Kingdom will be preached to all the world, and then the end will come.

You know, brothers, I really believe that this good news is starting to be preached to the whole world-- the true Kingdom. And so, that is significant to me.

So, we see date setters. For those of you who like to be setting dates for when the Messiah is going to return, it says:

Mark 13:32 - "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

Not even the Son knows when.

Continue to read Acts chapter 1:

Acts 1:9 - Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.

Remember, Yahushua is coming with clouds.

Acts 1:10 - And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel,

11 - who also said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This [same] Yahushua, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven."

So, He is going to come in like manner. They are standing on the Mount of Olives here, and a cloud receives Him. Remember, Yahushua says, "I am coming with clouds." Coming on the clouds of heaven. And where is He going to go? Here are the Scriptures:

Mark 13:26 - "Then they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.

Revelation 1:7 - Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.

So, He is coming with clouds. And when He returns He will come with clouds and sit on that Mount of Olives, the same place He ascended.

Then it says:

Zechariah 14:5 - Then you shall flee [through] My mountain valley, For the mountain valley shall reach to Azal. Yes, you shall flee As you fled from the earthquake In the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Thus YAHWEH my Elohim will come, [And] all the saints with You .

So, we know that this place called Azal... is currently unknown where that is. But they knew where it was when Zechariah was giving this prophecy.

The earthquake that is here in the days of Uzziah king of Judah is not actually written about in Scripture, but we do find the book of Josephus mentions this earthquake. It says:

Antiquities of the Jews 9:225: "In the mean time, a great earthquake shook the ground, and a rent was made in the temple, and the bright rays of the sun shone through it, and fell upon the king's face, insomuch that the leprosy seized upon him immediately.

"And before the city, at a place called Enrogel, half the mountain broke off from the rest on the west, and rolled itself half a mile, and stood still at the east mountain, till the roads, as well as the king's gardens, were spoiled by the obstruction."

So, this King Uzziah had been irreverent and decided to offer incense himself in the temple. As a result, this happened, according to Josephus. That may or may not be true, but it does mention there in the book of Zechariah this earthquake that took place.

Anyway, we continue in Zechariah. It says:

Zechariah 14:6 - It shall come to pass in that day [That] there will be no light; The lights will diminish.

Isn't this what we read earlier?

Matthew 24:29 - "Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

So, just prior to the coming of the Messiah.

Then in verse 7, it says:

Zechariah 14:7 - It shall be one day Which is known to YAHWEH -- Neither day nor night. But at evening time it shall happen [That] it will be light.

When Yahushua returns, the entire earth is going to experience a level of brightness that it has not had, at least not in the time since Adam fell. And this brightness is spoken of here in the book of Isaiah.

Isaiah 30:26 - Moreover the light of the moon will be as the light of the sun, And the light of the sun will be sevenfold, As the light of seven days, In the day that YAHWEH binds up the bruise of His people And heals the stroke of their wound.

So, I guess since the sun will be seven times brighter, the moon, which reflects the light of the sun, will also be seven times brighter. I don't know if you could calculate that or not to be the equivalent of the brightness of the sun, but I suppose the eyes of men will have some serious adjustments.

Perhaps as Yahweh changes the nature of animals, He will change our vision so that our eyes can handle that level of light. Now, there will still be darkness at night, when the moon is in a conjunction, for instance. If the moon has not risen over the horizon, there will still be nighttime during some occasions.

But when the New Moon does appear, it is going to be pretty awesome and much brighter than what we see now. Even a new crescent moon would illuminate the earth almost like, maybe, a full moon, or something. I don't know. But it is an awesome thing to think about!

In the book of Zechariah, continuing... it says:

Zechariah 14:8 - And in that day it shall be [That] living waters shall flow from Jerusalem, Half of them toward the eastern sea And half of them toward the western sea; In both summer and winter it shall occur.

This is very literal. Both summer and winter there is going to be water flowing from the throne of Yahweh in Jerusalem-- living waters! Now, the western sea is the Mediterranean; the eastern sea is the Dead Sea. We see that waters flow from Jerusalem into both seas.

The book of Ezekiel talks about it. It says:

Ezekiel 47:8 - Then he said to me: "This water flows toward the eastern region, goes down into the valley, and enters the sea. [When it] reaches the sea, [its] waters are healed.

This is talking about going into the Dead Sea. The waters will be healed.

Ezekiel 47:9 - "And it shall be [that] every living thing that moves, wherever the rivers go, will live. There will be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters go there; for they will be healed, and everything will live wherever the river goes.

That is why it is called living water. It brings life to that which drinks from it. The Dead Sea will no longer be dead.

Currently, if you were to look at the topography of Israel, the Mediterranean would be here (west), and the Dead Sea would be here (east). And actually, the Dead Sea is lower than sea level. Well, in between is this mountain ridge that Jerusalem is sitting atop of (about a 3000 foot ridge of mountains).

And so, the waters are going to flow down toward the Mediterranean and down toward the Dead Sea. Of course, that has not happened, yet, right? We are waiting on that for when Yahushua comes and sets His feet on that Mount of Olives, where He descends on the very place that He ascended 2000 years ago.

So, back to Zechariah.

Zechariah 14:9 - And YAHWEH shall be King over all the earth. In that day it shall be -- "YAHWEH [is] one," And His name one.

You know, currently, man is his own king. At least he thinks he is. But actually, he follows a theology of the ruler of this age-- Satan the devil. Therefore, it honors him, the enemy, being the ruler of this world and the lawgiver. But on this day we see Yahweh will be the King, rightly so.

And when His will is finally done on earth as it is in heaven-- Yahweh is one, and His name one. No more of this: "HaShem," "Adonai," "LORD," "God," whatever. His name will be one.

Zechariah 14:10 - All the land shall be turned into a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem. [Jerusalem] shall be raised up and inhabited in her place from Benjamin's Gate to the place of the First Gate and the Corner Gate, and [from] the Tower of Hananeel to the king's winepresses.

That is a huge area southwest of Jerusalem. It will all be turned into a plain.

So, no more of this multiple name thing.

Zechariah 14:11 - [The people] shall dwell in it; And no longer shall there be utter destruction, But Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.

So, no more suicide bombers, land for peace agreements, fears of the nuclear bomb, Iran, and all that. No more of that junk.

Zechariah 14:12 - And this shall be the plague with which YAHWEH will strike all the people who fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh shall dissolve while they stand on their feet, Their eyes shall dissolve in their sockets, And their tongues shall dissolve in their mouths.

Fire! That is the fire of Yahweh.

Malachi 4:1 - "For behold, the day is coming, Burning like an oven, And all the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble. And the day which is coming shall burn them up," Says YAHWEH of hosts, "That will leave them neither root nor branch.

2 - But to you who fear My name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise With healing in His wings; And you shall go out And grow fat like stall-fed calves.

So, the ones who fear His name, the name of Yahweh, right? The Sun of Righteousness. The Fire. The Son is a fire-- "shall arise with healing in His wings." To us it will be a healing. It will be a cleansing thing. To the world, it will be utter destruction.

Malachi 4:3 - You shall trample the wicked, For they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet On the day that I do [this]," Says YAHWEH of hosts.

And so, it looks like there will be "the least of these" and "the least in the Kingdom." The Serpent, we know, has to crawl on its belly and eat the dust, which we will trample upon as it says in Luke 10:19:

Luke 10:19 - "Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

And we see, also, in Matthew 5:19:

Matthew 5:19 - "Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches [them], he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

So, who are the least? The ones who are, obviously, being trampled on will be the least, just like the serpent is the least of all the beasts, right?

And he goes on to say in Malachi 4:4:

Malachi 4:4 - "Remember the Law of Moses, My servant, Which I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel, [With the] statutes and judgments.

It is a warning! Don't forget the Law of Moshe. Because when Yahweh comes by fire, that will be the law of the land.

Isaiah 66:15 - For behold, YAHWEH will come with fire And with His chariots, like a whirlwind, To render His anger with fury, And His rebuke with flames of fire.

16 - For by fire and by His sword YAHWEH will judge all flesh; And the slain of YAHWEH shall be many.

Isaiah 66:17 - "Those who sanctify themselves and purify themselves, [To go] to the gardens After an [idol] in the midst, Eating swine's flesh and the abomination and the mouse, Shall be consumed together," says YAHWEH.

Interesting. When Messiah returns, those eating swine's flesh and other abominations shall be consumed together.

Isaiah 66:18 - "For I [know] their works and their thoughts. It shall be that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come and see My glory.

Clearly, an end time prophecy here. We don't want to be among those eating swine's flesh when Yahushua returns.

So, we need to remember the Law of Moshe. Many people want to sing the song of the Lamb, but they don't want to sing the song of Moshe. We need both.

Revelation 15:2 - And I saw [something] like a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those who have the victory over the beast, over his image and over his mark [and] over the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of Elohim.

3 - They sing the song of Moses, the servant of Elohim, and the song of the Lamb, saying: "Great and marvelous [are] Your works, Master Elohim Almighty! Just and true [are] Your ways, O King of the saints!

They sing the song of Moshe (the song of Moses). What else do they sing? They also sing the song of the Lamb.

Revelation 15:4 - Who shall not fear You, O Master, and glorify Your name? For [You] alone [are] holy. For all nations shall come and worship before You, For Your judgments have been manifested."

See, here we go again-- these recurring themes of His name being glorified. Are we doing that?

His judgments have been made manifested. See, the mystery gets revealed-- the mystery of iniquity-- that the Law of Yahweh, His judgments, are not done away with. He hasn't changed His mind. The judgments still stand of the Torah. What it judges to be right, what it judges to be wrong, is still here when Messiah returns.

See, they are taught that those judgments are no good anymore, those judgments are abolished, those judgments are for the old people (the Jews/Old Covenant)... old this... old that. They fail to realize the New Covenant is also with the Jews, and there is a Law that is supposed to be written in the hearts of us.

It won't be doctrines and catechisms of men that is the standard by which judgments are made. It is by the Law of Yahweh with its statutes and its judgments. If you still don't believe me, let's continue reading Zechariah 14:

 Zechariah 14:13 - It shall come to pass in that day [That] a great panic from YAHWEH will be among them. Everyone will seize the hand of his neighbor, And raise his hand against his neighbor's hand;

14 - Judah also will fight at Jerusalem. And the wealth of all the surrounding nations Shall be gathered together: Gold, silver, and apparel in great abundance.

Zechariah 14:15 - Such also shall be the plague On the horse [and] the mule, On the camel and the donkey, And on all the cattle that will be in those camps. So [shall] this plague [be].

16 - And it shall come to pass [that] everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, YAHWEH of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.

My favorite thing about that is they keep the Feast of Tabernacles. See, His judgments will be made manifest. We will start singing the Law of Moshe again. And notice here, it says, "And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left..."

Everyone who is left. The ones who are left behind. The ones who are left over of all the nations which came against Jerusalem. They will go up from year to year to worship the King, Yahweh of hosts, and keep the Feast Days. NATIONS! GENTILES! will come up and keep the Feast of Tabernacles!

In fact, the judgments will be this:

Zechariah 14:17 - And it shall be [that] whichever of the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King, YAHWEH of hosts, on them there will be no rain.

That is the judgment. In that day His judgments will be manifest. We will start singing the song of Moshe again-- the standard of righteousness that He established in the Torah (the Law).

Zechariah 14:18 - If the family of Egypt will not come up and enter in, they [shall have] no [rain]; they shall receive the plague with which YAHWEH strikes the nations who do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.

That is our future! That is our future! That is the future of the world! That is the Kingdom that we are supposed to be proclaiming! This is the "Good News" that we are supposed to be proclaiming to the whole world!

The Kingdom will be about law keeping. The Bible says it, no matter what anybody else thinks. The Bible says it will be. The Holy Days, the New Moon, the Sabbath-- they are, right now, today, presently, shadows foreshadowing things to come because when we enter that Kingdom, that is what we will be doing. They are elements of the Kingdom.

They are not only elements, but it is obvious to me, from various descriptions in the Prophets, they appear to me to be major events-- things He specifically wanted to point out would be going on.

Lest anyone who had any question, after being taught by their pastor that those things are no longer available and not supposed to be done anymore, start asking more questions and start looking into the Scriptures instead of just blindly following whatever their pastor says.

So, I am not trying to put anybody down. I am just saying-- why is He always talking about this when He is talking about the future? He is talking about New Moons, Sabbaths, Feast Days, the Law. Why? Why does He mention this particular sin? There are other sins that people might get involved in.

But why does He mention, "This shall be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles"? Even Gentiles need to keep these "Jewish Feasts" here. Nations! Why? Because they are important to Him.

We are going to see that the Law will become a focal point.

Isaiah 2:2 - Now it shall come to pass in the latter days [That] the mountain of YAHWEH'S house Shall be established on the top of the mountains, And shall be exalted above the hills; And all nations shall flow to it.

3 - Many people shall come and say, "Come, and let us go up to the mountain of YAHWEH, To the house of the Elohim of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, And we shall walk in His paths." For out of Zion shall go forth the law, And the word of YAHWEH from Jerusalem.

Out of Zion, or Tzion, shall go forth what? The Law. Do you see how it is a focal point? When they come up every Sabbath to worship before Yahweh-- and on the New Moons they come up before Yahweh to worship Him-- they are going to learn the Torah. They are going to learn the Law.

They are going to find out about the Feast Days. They are going to find out about the holiness of His name.

And we see, also, it is sort of like... if we continue to read, here:

Isaiah 2:4 - He shall judge between the nations, And rebuke many people; They shall beat their swords into plowshares, And their spears into pruning hooks; Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, Neither shall they learn war anymore.

So, we are talking about plowshares. Well, a plowshare is something that you drag behind an animal. So, I think we are going to be returning to that agrarian lifestyle that Yahweh established for us in the Garden of Eden. We are going to go back to that.

So, you know, what we have today, actually, is not quite what Yahweh had in mind when He put Adam in the garden, but man has these ideas, like Genesis 11:4.

Genesis 11:4 - And they said, "Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top [is] in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth."

5 - But YAHWEH came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built.

6 - And YAHWEH said, "Indeed the people [are] one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them.

See, here we are today. Yahweh scattered the languages, mixed up the languages, which prevented the sharing of technology from one kingdom to another. But now the language barrier has kind of been broken. Forget towers. We are putting men on Mars here in the next twenty years, or at least they think they are going to.

They are putting spaceships on Mars, and whatnot. So, the very condition Yahweh was not really wanting-- you know, the language barrier has kind of been broken, and we have information technology going on. It's amazing.

So, Yahweh is going to bring us back to that agrarian lifestyle like the Garden of Eden-- the simple life, working the land, caring for and attending to the things that Yahweh made us to have dominion over. And today, man has made machinery and cities and technologies, and all these things have a way of causing us to forget our Creator.

Food comes from the "almighty Wal-Mart" now in the form of a box or a package. Your money is just these little numbers in your bank account. And so, it causes men to forget the One who is bringing life, who is causing the food to grow.

And the light pollution from the cities blocking out the glory of the heavens... and the sound pollution blocking out the sound of creation-- the birds and the different animals... and so, concrete and paved roads.

I once saw a picture of Central Park in the middle of New York City. Wow! What a difference! Central Park was a whole lot more beautiful than those buildings.

I'm not saying it is a sin to have a technology. Let's use them to the glory of Yahweh. We are going to use it to advance His kingdom rather than the glory of men.

Yahweh can cause these technologies to be a nightmare for the enemy and destroy his plans. That is what He does.

What I am saying is: Whatever we do in word or in deed, let's do it all in Yahushua's name.

Colossians 3:16 - Let the word of Messiah dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to YAHWEH.

What is this? What is this word of Messiah?

Colossians 3:17 - And whatever you do in word or deed, [do] all in the name of the Master Yahushua, giving thanks to Elohim the Father through Him.

If we are doing something that we can't do in the name of the Master Yahushua, we ought not be doing it. We are called to be ones who do not deny His name, ones who glorify His name. We see names are important. When the Messiah returns, names will be important.

So, what is this word of Messiah dwelling in you richly? Is that just the words He spoke when He was here on the earth-- you know, the beatitudes and the parables and the admonitions He gave man? Is that the only real word of Messiah that we have? No. No, it isn't.

In Matthew 28 verse 18, He guided us toward this word of Messiah.

Matthew 28:18 - And Yahushua came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.

19 - "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

20 - teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.

So, the things that Messiah has commanded us. The words of Messiah dwelling in us richly. What are these words of Messiah?

Well, what is this that Yahushua is telling us about here? What He is telling us about overall in these three verses is the Kingdom.

What is a kingdom? A kingdom... well... "king" and then "dom"-- meaning "dominion." There is a king, and then there are the rules by which the king will exercise his dominion. All kingdoms have rules. All kingdoms have kings.

So, Yahushua says, here, right off the bat, all authority is given to Him in heaven and earth. And so, He is in this kingly position. He has the authority, here. And so, He tells us to go make disciples of all nations and baptize them and do what? Teach them something.

Don't just baptize them and walk away. Disciple them, teaching them to observe what? "All things that I have commanded you." Now, a lot of people in mainstream Christianity would say, "Well, that is just New Testament words, the word of the Messiah, not that Old Testament stuff."

But what is a disciple? The word "disciple" in our language, and what it actually means in the original, is "one who is taught," "a taught one." You know, this word "disciple" was not an unfamiliar word to the ears of Yahushua's disciples because it is found in the book of Isaiah chapter 8.

We are going to read about this term "disciple" and what this is all about.

Isaiah 8:11 - For YAHWEH spoke thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying:

This is Isaiah, here.

Isaiah 8:12 - "Do not say, `A conspiracy,' Concerning all that this people call a conspiracy, Nor be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.

You know, I have a word for you, too, if you are a conspiracy theorist: Don't worry about conspiracies.

Those have a way of bringing fear into our hearts-- to bring the fear of man into our hearts and what man may do to us, what man is planning, what man hopes to do to us, what evils he is hoping to do, what conspiracies he is developing against the people of Yahweh. Don't be afraid of them. They may kill the body. They can do no more after that.

Isaiah 8:13 - YAHWEH of hosts, Him you shall hallow; [Let] Him [be] your fear, And [let] Him [be] your dread.

He is the one that we are most concerned about and His plans.

Isaiah 8:14 - He will be as a sanctuary, But a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense To both the houses of Israel, As a trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

Yahweh wants to be our sanctuary, our place of refuge, but He will also be "a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense to both the houses of Israel, as a trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem."

And that is exactly what happened, that Messiah caused many to stumble.

Isaiah 8:15 - And many among them shall stumble; They shall fall and be broken, Be snared and taken."

And He goes on to say:

Isaiah 8:16 - Bind up the testimony, Seal the law among my disciples.

Interesting. Now, this verse right here, which talks about the stone of stumbling and a rock of offense, is actually quoted in the New Testament.

In 1 Peter chapter 2, verse 7, it says, "Therefore, to you who believe, He is precious (He is our sanctuary); but to those who are disobedient..." See, belief and disobedient are opposites. You can't believe and then walk in blatant disobedience.

1Peter 2:7 - Therefore, to you who believe, [He is] precious; but to those who are disobedient, "The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone,"

Here is that verse in Isaiah:

1Peter 2:8 - and "A stone of stumbling And a rock of offense." They stumble, being disobedient to the word, to which they also were appointed.

They stumble. Why? Because being disobedient to the word. What word? The word of Messiah, which dwells in us richly.

So, they are disobedient, and we know that Israel, the Jews of the first century, the inhabitants of Jerusalem were caused to stumble over the Messiah. They fell and they were broken; they were snared and they were taken.

And so, He says, to those who see Yahweh as a sanctuary, who see Yahweh as the one to fear and not man, "Bind up the testimony. (Seal it!) Seal the law among my disciples." There is that word-- "disciples." "Talmidim" in the Hebrew.

Still Messianic prophecy, here, if we want to keep reading:

Isaiah 8:17 - And I will wait on YAHWEH, Who hides His face from the house of Jacob; And I will hope in Him.

So, He has hidden His face right now from the Jewish people because of the stumbling when Messiah came, and it caused them to stumble. Not that He was intentionally trying to cause them to stumble, but because of their disobedience, Yahushua became a stumbling block rather than a stepping stone to higher and greater things.

Isaiah 8:18 - Here am I and the children whom YAHWEH has given me! [We] are for signs and wonders in Israel From YAHWEH of hosts, Who dwells in Mount Zion.

This is actually Messiah speaking here. This verse here in verse 18, "Here am I and the children of Israel whom Yahweh has given me!" is found in the book of Hebrews.

Hebrews 2:9 - But we see Yahushua, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of Elohim, might taste death for everyone.

10 - For it was fitting for Him, for whom [are] all things and by whom [are] all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

11 - For both He who sanctifies and those who are being sanctified [are] all of one, for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren,

And He quotes the Scripture:

Hebrews 2:12 - saying: "I will declare Your name to My brethren; In the midst of the assembly I will sing praise to You."

This is Psalm 22.

Hebrews 2:13 - And again: "I will put My trust in Him." And again: "Here am I and the children whom Elohim has given Me."

This is this verse in Isaiah. So, this is all Messianic stuff that we are reading here in Isaiah chapter 8.

So, the context:

Isaiah 8:16 - Bind up the testimony, Seal the law among my disciples.

The Law is going to be sealed in those who are His true disciples.

Isaiah 8:17 - And I will wait on YAHWEH, Who hides His face from the house of Jacob; And I will hope in Him.

18 - Here am I and the children whom YAHWEH has given me! [We] are for signs and wonders in Israel From YAHWEH of hosts, Who dwells in Mount Zion.

Isaiah 8:19 - And when they say to you, "Seek those who are mediums and wizards, who whisper and mutter," should not a people seek their Elohim? [Should they seek] the dead on behalf of the living?

I don't know how many times I have seen people who will go over to somebody's grave and talk to them. It just doesn't seem right.

Anyway, verse 20 is what I want to key in on here:

Isaiah 8:20 - To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, [it is] because [there is] no light in them.

Very firm, brothers and sisters. Is it not plain as day that the Law of Yahweh is the very thing that "taught ones"-- that is disciples-- are going to be taught? And if it is not according to the Law and the testimony, then there is no light in it.

So, the Law of Yahweh is what was given by Moshe. The Law of Yahweh is what is supposed to be sealed in the hearts of the disciples, the taught ones. In fact, the Hebrew word for "law" simply means "teaching." That is all it means-- instruction, teaching.

And so, the disciples of the Messiah here that it is speaking-- "Here am I and the children whom Yahweh has given Me!"-- the disciples are going to have the Law sealed in them. Why? Because they have Yahushua ha Mashiach living in them.

Because Yahushua ha Mashiach, Yahushua the Messiah, is living in them, the Law of Yahweh is written in their hearts and in their minds. And if anything is contrary to the Law and to the testimony, there is no light in it.

Alright, so since the Hebrew word for "law" is "torah" which means "teaching" and "instruction," the very meaning of the word "disciple" means "one who is taught by the teaching, by the instruction-- the Law, the Law of Yahweh."

We just need to get our heads freed from being glued to the New Testament, and simply look up and read the verses that Peter and the book of Hebrews is quoting here-- Isaiah chapter 8. Twice it refers to the Torah, the teaching. It talks about the disciples and makes it very plain. If they don't speak according to the Torah, there is no light in it.

So, if somebody comes to you and says, "Well, the Law of Yahweh is abolished," how could that be? That is what is supposed to be teaching us. That is what we are disciples of. That is what we are supposed to be instructed by.

You know, Yahushua the Messiah is not just the Word in the book of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. He is the Word in Genesis to Revelation. He is the Word, and through Him are all things.

So, the Kingdom consists of a King and a set of rules by which He will govern. The King is Yahushua, and the Law of Yahweh is the set of rules. So-- "teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you." And He will be with us.

And when the Messiah dwells in us, that is what baptism represents. "Make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them..." When we go down into the water, the baptismal waters, and we are raised up again, then it is Messiah now living in us. And the things which we do are things that Messiah did when He was on the earth.

What did He do? He is the same yesterday, today and forever. What He did yesterday on earth will be what He does today in man, and it is what we will do forever in the Kingdom! That includes Feast keeping. It includes keeping and observing Torah.

So, it is not a Law that is void of the Sabbath and Feast Days or New Moons that He is speaking of here (Matthew 28:20). It is not commands that are leaving out those things. Obviously, when Yahushua rules as the King, those things are included in the Kingdom.

And that is why there will be judgments on nations that refuse to keep those Feasts of Tabernacles and other things. They are disobeying the Law of Yahweh. Yahushua did not come to do away with those things. He came to exalt the Law and make it honorable.

Isaiah 42:21 - YAHWEH is well pleased for His righteousness' sake; He will exalt the law and make [it] honorable.

22 - But this [is] a people robbed and plundered; All of them are snared in holes, And they are hidden in prison houses; They are for prey, and no one delivers; For plunder, and no one says, "Restore!"

It is a sad situation. No one is saying, "Restore!" Yahushua came to exalt the Law and make it honorable. But what happened instead was the people exalted the traditions of men over the commandments of Yahweh.

Brothers and sisters, the same thing has happened today. The same exact thing. It is no different what happened in the book of Isaiah about the people being robbed and plundered, snared in holes. Messiah came to exalt the Law and make it honorable, but these people that He was trying to teach were snared.

They had exalted the traditions of men over the commandments of Yahweh. But brothers and sister, this is still going on. The same thing is happening today. And so, we need to be like Yahushua who said:

Mark 7:9 - He said to them, "[All too] well you reject the commandment of Elohim, that you may keep your tradition.

Matthew 15:3 - He answered and said to them, "Why do you also transgress the commandment of Elohim because of your tradition?

And to some of the leaders:

Mark 7:6 - He answered and said to them, "Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: `This people honors Me with [their] lips, But their heart is far from Me.

7 - And in vain they worship Me, Teaching [as] doctrines the commandments of men.'

So, it is high time that the commandments of men get set aside and the commandments of Yahweh get lifted up and exalted and made honorable once again. Only with that can we make true, true disciples-- true taught ones.

The Law is something that has been far too long dishonored, taught that it is a burden, that no one could possibly keep all those commandments-- that it is antiquated, old.

But Yahweh says the Law is supposed to be honored. We are supposed to exalt the Law like Messiah did and make it honorable. But you see, just like Yahushua found when He came on the earth, there was a people who were robbed.

They were robbed by tithe gathering synagogues, and they are robbed today and plundered today by tithes brought into churches where people are not teaching truth. They are only teaching tradition. They do not allow anyone to go beyond their denominational mindset or they are going to be kicked out of the church.

So, they are in these little confinements. And there are these prison houses. They can't grow. They can't learn the Hebraic roots. If you are in a church where you can't learn Hebraic roots, it is time to grow, because the Hebraic roots are our future, whether your pastor wants it to be or not.

It says, "They are for prey, and no one delivers... no one says, 'Restore!'"

Well, I tell you what. I want to be like Yahushua and go out to the people who are robbed and plundered and buy these hireling shepherds that don't really care about the sheep and deliver those who are snared in the prison houses-- the church buildings with teachers that refuse to look to any doctrine that is contrary to the denominational line.

Because they are so focused on the traditional theologies-- the church fathers, the heritage of the Christian faith. It is really the heritage of the Catholic faith that they are chasing and don't realize it, and all the time calling themselves Protestants.

But you know, we have an opportunity here, and I speak to those of you who understand that the Law is important for us to follow, who love the Feast Days, or who are looking forward to those Feast Days.

We have an opportunity and we have a calling because we are one of the few carriers of the true Kingdom news-- the good news of the true Kingdom-- that proclaims the fullness of Genesis to Revelation because we understand that the Law will be exalted and made honorable when Messiah returns.

And there will be Feast keeping and Sabbath keeping and New Moons, and swine-flesh eaters will be destroyed. We have some news to deliver, don't we? Some very important news.

For some it will be really bad news, but for those who love His Word it will be good news because we understand that in the age to come the focal point will be teaching and learning from the Torah.

And so, I am saying, it is time. If we believe the things concerning the Kingdom, let's call out to others to do the same.

And so, yes, I am calling upon my Christian brothers and sisters. I don't judge you. I don't say you are lost. I don't say your conversion experience was not real. I am not saying the Savior did not save you or consider you to be saved if you died at that moment when you first believed, or maybe where you are at now, too.

I am not saying that you are lost and you are going to hell. That is a denominational mindset I don't have. What I am saying is, we have been taught some things that are not true.

And so, I am calling upon every Christian who has embraced what they believe is a New Testament version of the Kingdom where certain parts of the Law are set aside. Look at what the rest of the Bible teaches concerning these things and embrace that, also, because the true things concerning His Kingdom have been ignored for far too long.

What we need to do is believe it and embrace it, just like they did in the first century.

Acts 8:12 - But when they believed Philip as he preached the things concerning the kingdom of Elohim and the name of Yahushua Messiah, both men and women were baptized.

There we are. The name, again, and the Torah, things concerning the Kingdom. The Law of Yahweh and the Kingdom-- it is all the same. That is the "dominion" part, the part where the rules are.

Hey, you have the King, right? Yahushua is the King, but what about the dominion part? What is going to be the rule by which He has dominion over us? That is the Law-- the Torah of Yahweh.

And when we are baptized in the name of Yahushua, as they were baptized, both men and women, then He will dwell in us. We are baptized in Messiah.

That means He, the King of that Kingdom, will reign in us. That means He will do those things on the earth in us that He did when He was on the earth. He will empower us to keep the Law even as He writes it on our hearts.

And He will cleanse us. If we fall weak, if things get difficult and we fail Him... look, the righteous man falls seven times, and he gets back up again. The main thing is that we get back up again. That is grace. I am all for grace-- 100% for grace. And that is why I don't judge you, because I am all for grace. Mercy, let it triumph over judgment.

But we have to also recognize and receive the prophetic word of the Kingdom, the words of the Law. We can't let the enemy come and snatch that out of our hearts.

When the seed of the word to the Kingdom is sown in our hearts, don't let the enemy come and snatch it away with his age old lie he has been telling man since the Garden of Eden: "Hath Elohim said?"

"Hath Elohim said, 'You shall keep the Sabbath'?" "Hath Elohim said that keeping the Feast Days are part of the New Covenant, also?" "Hath Elohim said He would destroy those who eat swine's flesh?"

Yes, Elohim has said it! It is written. That is what Yahushua said when the enemy tempted Him-- "It is written! Elohim has said." And since Elohim has said it, if we willfully disobey what Elohim has said, don't be like Eve and believe Satan's lie: "You will not surely die."

"Okay, He said it, but you will not die. You will not burn in hell because you disobeyed."

See, the enemy wants to deceive us all the time, just like he did Eve. And he knows man will fall for the same old trick over and over and time and time again. That is one reason why the way to eternal life, as we shared last week, is so narrow and so few find it.

So, we need to flee from his lies and embrace the truth. We need to flee from the traditions of men and run as fast as we can to follow the example of the Messiah, the King, and let the rules of the Kingdom be our guide all the days of our life.

And by that we will demonstrate to Him we WANT His Kingdom to come. We WANT His will to be done on the earth as it is in heaven. And so, as we go and preach, as Messiah taught us, say, "Hey, the Kingdom of heaven is at hand."

Matthew 10:7 - "And as you go, preach, saying, `The kingdom of heaven is at hand.'

Tell them what that Kingdom is all about.

Acts 19:8 - And he went into the synagogue and spoke boldly for three months, reasoning and persuading concerning the things of the kingdom of Elohim.

This is Paul. He spoke boldly for three months, reasoning and persuading concerning the things of what? The Kingdom of Elohim-- the King and the rules by which the King will exercise dominion. And so, let us follow that example.

Acts 28:23. We read earlier:

Acts 28:23 - So when they had appointed him a day, many came to him at [his] lodging, to whom he explained and solemnly testified of the kingdom of Elohim, persuading them concerning Yahushua from both the Law of Moses and the Prophets, from morning till evening.

There he was-- pulling Scripture out of the Law, out of the Prophets (just like I did for you today), concerning the Kingdom because the Kingdom is all about the Law of Moshe, and the Prophets tell us that. And, yes, it is about Messiah, too-- the King. No doubt about it. Yahweh will reign through Him.

So, let's set our eyes on the things of the Kingdom that we might have the motivation that we need to seek and walk in righteousness and purity. Let's do that.

We cannot be kingdom-of-this-world minded. As I said, we will be having a real difficult time finding the motivation to walk in holiness. We have to place value in and be motivated by the blessing of Yahweh, seeking the praise that comes from Elohim rather than men.

If we want to be rulers in the age to come, we have to be faithful with what we've been given, and seek to abide by the rules if we want to be rulers.

Yahushua said when He was asked by the Pharisees concerning the Kingdom of Elohim:

 Luke 17:20 - Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of Elohim would come, He answered them and said, "The kingdom of Elohim does not come with observation;

21 - "nor will they say, `See here!' or `See there!' For indeed, the kingdom of Elohim is within you."

The Kingdom of Elohim is where? Within you. It is when we walk in the ways of the Kingdom that the Kingdom of Elohim is revealed in us.

If you are keeping the Feast of Tabernacles, if you are keeping the Feast of Trumpets-- which heralds this time when the will of Yahweh will be on the earth as it is in heaven, when the Kingdom will come in a mighty and strong way-- then the Kingdom of Elohim is within us.

You don't have to say, "Oh, the Kingdom is coming somewhere? Where is it?" It is right here. The Law of Yahweh is in my heart. The Messiah reigns on the throne of my heart. Therefore, I am abiding to the best of my understanding the rules of the Kingdom, which does include the keeping of the Festivals-- very plainly, very clearly.

And by the Kingdom of Yahweh dwelling in us through Yahushua living there, we will walk as He walked. And we will serve eachother. We will love eachother, the way Yahushua loves us. We will manifest His life of Torah observance, of keeping the Law.

We will manifest that life of His, not by our own righteousness, not by our own power, not by our own strength, but by His Spirit flowing through us, manifesting the example of Yahushua. We show Him to all when we do that.

And as people who are one of the few carriers of the good news of the Kingdom, let's "go therefore" and proclaim that Kingdom to all the nations. The Kingdom where the Law will go forth out of Tzion. The Kingdom where the name of Yahweh will be one and Yahweh will be glorified. The Kingdom where the Feast of Tabernacles will be kept.

The Kingdom where Yahushua will rule with a rod of iron and destroy those with His judgments because they refused to keep His Law. The Kingdom where we, in our glorified, incorruptible bodies, will be priests and judges of the land, ruling all things by the Word and Law of Elohim. The Kingdom where man gets back to a simple and humble way of life.

The Kingdom where the animals will no longer flee at the sight of men. The Kingdom where Yahweh will reign and the earth will be filled with the knowledge of Yahweh. The Kingdom where from one New Moon to another, and one Sabbath to another, all will come and worship before the King-- Yahweh of Hosts. I can hardly wait! How about you?

When we demonstrate that Kingdom now by the way we live our lives, when we share that true good news of the Kingdom to whom Yahweh calls us to share it with, by this we demonstrate faithfulness-- faithfulness and courage.

And then we can expect one day to hear the words:

Matthew 25:23 - "His lord said to him, `Well [done], good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.'

If we are faithful stewards of the calling of Yahushua to make disciples of all the nations, to love our neighbor by sharing the good news of the Kingdom and the salvation of the Messiah, and we seek to be overcomers, and we keep His works to the end, we are acting as good and faithful servants.

And Yahushua will, as He said, give us power over all the nations.

Revelation 2:26 - "And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations --

What are His works? His works are Torah observance.

 Revelation 2:27 - `He shall rule them with a rod of iron; They shall be dashed to pieces like the potter's vessels '-- as I also have received from My Father;

28 - "and I will give him the morning star.

Revelation 3:5 - "He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.

Revelation 3:12 - "He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My Elohim, and he shall go out no more. And I will write on him the name of My Elohim and the name of the city of My Elohim, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My Elohim. And [I will write on him] My new name.

Yahweh Tzidkenu.

Revelation 3:21 - "To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.

What awesome, awesome promises we are given! Let's pursue them with all of our hearts, with all of our soul, with all of our strength, for the King of Kings is coming and His reward is with Him.

Yahweh will be the King of all Kings. Let's be ready when that last trumpet sounds and this Kingdom is established on the earth. Let's be ready to enter that holy of holies and dwell at His right hand, where there are pleasures for evermore.

Psalms 17:15 - As for me, I will see Your face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied when I awake in Your likeness.

You know, when we awake in His likeness, we will be restored to the very place we were created to be. That is, a people who are created in the image of Elohim, in the likeness of Elohim. We will be restored to that condition of dominion over the earth that we were given in the Garden of Eden. And the Law of Yahweh is a part of that dominion.

Let's be ready to endure the things to come, brothers and sisters.

We know a tribulation precedes the coming of the Messiah, but the work of Yahushua ha Mashiach can empower us by His Spirit to still love in the face of hate, to still serve in the midst of self-centeredness, to still choose to love the enemies who seek to destroy our flesh because they can't touch our soul.

Let's be ready and cleave to Yahweh with all of our strength. Let's be ready to rule and reign with the Messiah for a thousand years where the Torah of Yahweh, the Law of Yahweh, will be called the Law of the Land and Yahweh will be the King. Let's be ready when that Last Trumpet sounds.

May Yahweh bless you, and may Yahweh truly have mercy on us all.
