YermeYah - Greetings... the topic that I am going to speak on is Deception, Delusion and the Glad Tidings...

YermeYah - First, I would like to go to 2Timothy...

YermeYah - 2Timothy 3:12 - Yea, and all that will live reverently in YAHSHUA ha Mashiach shall suffer persecution.

YermeYah - 13 - But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

YermeYah - Yahshua said to certain ones...

YermeYah - John 8:44 - Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it...

YermeYah - The thing that I would like to focus on this evening is how deception and lies distort the Truth...

YermeYah - Jeremiah 9:6 - Thine habitation is in the midst of deceit; through deceit they refuse to know me, saith YAHWEH.

YermeYah - Here, YAHWEH is speaking to the prophet Jeremiah, that he lived in the midst of deceit... as do we!!!

YermeYah - I now will get into the deception that existed during Paul's day concerning the second coming of Yahshua...

YermeYah - 2Thessalonians 2:1 - Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Master YAHSHUA the Messiah, and by our gathering together unto him,

YermeYah - 2 - That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of the Messiah is at hand.

YermeYah - There were apparently people at that time who were saying that Yahshua would be here at any time, even forging letters as though they were from Paul...

YermeYah - Paul goes on to say in verse 3 about things that must take place before Yahshua does come again...

YermeYah - 3 - Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

YermeYah - 4 - Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called elohim, or that is worshipped; so that he as elohim sitteth in the temple of elohim, shewing himself that he is elohim.

YermeYah - This is the same one who is spoken of in Rev.13

YermeYah - Revelation 13:8 - All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

YermeYah - Now returning to 1Thessalonians chapter 2 and verse 5...

YermeYah - I mean 2Thesasalonians

YermeYah - 2Thessalonians 2:5 - Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?

YermeYah - 6 - And now ye know what is restraining, that he might be revealed in his time.

YermeYah - The thing that is stopping the antiMessiah from taking power at this time is that YAHWEH is still allowing the nations of the world to have sovereign powers, when this is taken away, there will be a one world government.

YermeYah - 2Thessalonians 2:7 - For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now restrains will do so, until he be taken out of the way.

YermeYah - The thing that Paul is saying here, is that the evil force was already at work back in Paul's day, and the thing that was preventing the antiMessiah from coming to power would, at a predetermined point, be taken away...

YermeYah - 8 - And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom YAHSHUA shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

YermeYah - 9 - Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

YermeYah - Going back to Revelation 13, we can see that this one is given its power from Satan...in the latter portion of Rev 13:2...

YermeYah - Revelation 13:2b The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority.

YermeYah - Now, returning to 2Thessalonians chapter 2 and verse 10...

YermeYah - 2Thessalonians 2:10 - And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

YermeYah - 11 - And for this cause YAHWEH shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

YermeYah - 12 - That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

YermeYah - Now here, Paul is talking about when the antiMessiah comes to power, however, in verse 7 Paul pointed out that this evil power is already at work...

YermeYah - and yes, people are already under strong delusion, why?...because they do not have a love for the Truth!!

YermeYah - You can see it in christianity!! And the majority of those who call themselves christians do not want to hear the truth!!

YermeYah - I believe that most of us have come out of christianity, praise YAHWEH for His mercy!! As Yahshua said in John chapter 6...

YermeYah - John 6:44 - No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

YermeYah - So we can see here, that unless YAHWEH draws us to Yahshua, we too would be under strong delusion!! YAHWEH does know our hearts, and just because we call on the Name, that does not necessarily make us His!

YermeYah - 2Timothy 2:19 - Nevertheless the foundation of YAHWEH standeth sure, having this seal, YAHWEH knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of the Messiah depart from iniquity.

YermeYah - 20 - But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.

YermeYah - Then Yahshua says in John chapter 10...

YermeYah - John 10:14 - I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.

YermeYah - Yahshua gives us a stearn warning in Mark chapter 13...

YermeYah - Mark 13:5 - And YAHSHUA answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you:

YermeYah - 6 - For many shall come in my name, saying, I am the Messiah; and shall deceive many.

YermeYah - And so concerning deception, we are warned by our master Yahshua that we are to take heed or watch out that no one deceives us...

YermeYah - Yahshua said in MatitYAH 24 concerning the time of the great tribulation...

YermeYah - Matthew 24:24 - For there shall arise false messiahs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

YermeYah - So we must be on guard and pray always...

YermeYah - Luke 21:36 - Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

YermeYah - Now, as Yahshua said, many will come in his name saying that He is the Messiah, and shall deceive many...So what must we do to insure that our hearts are right with Father YAHWEH?

YermeYah - Matthew 18:1 - At the same time came the disciples unto YAHSHUA , saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?

YermeYah - 2 - And YAHSHUA called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,

YermeYah - 3 - And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

YermeYah - 4 - Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

YermeYah - So being converted means becoming as a child...and becoming as a child means being humble

YermeYah - Matthew 19:13 - Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them.

YermeYah - 14 - But YAHSHUA said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

YermeYah - Matthew 11:25 - At that time YAHSHUA answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Sustainer of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.

YermeYah - 26 - Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight.

YermeYah - So, we can see by these verses, that we must become as children in the eyes of Father YAHWEH in order to worthy of HIS Kingdom.

YermeYah - Micah 6:8 - He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth YAHWEH require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy Elohim?

YermeYah - And to become as a child means to walk humbly with YAHWEH.

YermeYah - 1Kepha (1pet) 2:1 - Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking,

YermeYah - 2 - as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby,

YermeYah - 3 - if indeed you have tasted that YAHWEH is kind.

YermeYah - we must therefore rid ourselves of carnality

YermeYah - Matthew 3:1 - In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea,

YermeYah - 2 - And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

YermeYah - We are told to repent, and to repent means to change direction, and we do this by becoming as a child in the eyes of Abba YAHWEH.

YermeYah - Psalms 131:1 - YAHWEH, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.

YermeYah - 2 - Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.

YermeYah - Now going to Kepha...

YermeYah - 1Kepha (1pet) 5:5 - Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for "YAHWEH resists the proud, but gives favor to the humble."

YermeYah - 6 - Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of YAHWEH, that He may exalt you in due time,

YermeYah - Now, continuing on with the theme of deception within christianity...

YermeYah - A few of weeks ago, Brother EliYah gave an excellent teaching on why it is wrong to celebrate christmas.

YermeYah - I would like to focus on another facet of this subject for a moment.

YermeYah - Yahshua said in two places in Revelation concerning Nicolaitans...

YermeYah - Rev 2:6 - "But this you have, that you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate."

YermeYah - 2:15 - "Thus you also have those who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate."

YermeYah - Question...what is a Nicolaitan?

YermeYah - Nicolaitan is a compound of the Greek words Nike and Laos, Nike-Laos.

YermeYah - In Greek mythology, Nike is represented as the goddess of victory whose function was to proslytize or evangelize for Zeus, the Greek deity.

YermeYah - Strong's 3531...Nikolaites, from 3532; a Nicolaire, i.e. adherent of Nicolaus:-- Nicolaitane

YermeYah - 3532...Nikolaos, from 3534 and 2992; victorious over the people

YermeYah - And without any stretch of the imagination, we can identify Saint Nike-Laos, or Santa Claus, who appears every year in the month of December to remind us that Zeus, Jupiter, Mithra, Nimrod, Baal, Addon, Apolo, Tamuz, Bachus, whose birthday is on the 25th day of December, is to be memorialized!

YermeYah - If you look in Webster's International Dictionary under the heading Zeus, you will find a picture of Zeus sitting on a throne with Nike in back of him, in the act of putting a crown of laurel upon his head.

YermeYah - What could be the deeds of the Nicolaitans?...

YermeYah - Could it be for parents to take their defenseless children, who depend totally on their parents for survival, and to lie to them by telling them that their is such a thing as santa claus?...

YermeYah - Not only do they lie to their children at the youngest of ages, but when the child becomes "old enough to know the truth," the parent destroy the childrens faith by admitting that their is really no such thing as a Santa Claus...

YermeYah - but they did it, so they say, because they loved them!!!??

YermeYah - By lying to their children, they force them to loose their child-like trust. Instead, the children come to believe the same as their parents, that it is good to lie to your children!!

YermeYah - When you are a child in the flesh, the natural trust that you have is placed in the custodians, usually parents, but when we become as a child in order to enter the Kingdom, we must place our trust in Father YAHWEH!!!

YermeYah - Mark 10:15 - Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of YAHWEH as a little child, he shall not enter therein.

YermeYah - The child like faith that is required to receive the Kingdom of YAHWEH is the very thing that the doctrine of the Nicoaitans destroys...that is why Yahshua hates it so!

YermeYah - Also, try telling someones child that there really is no such a thing as Santa Claus and see the reaction of this child's parents!

YermeYah - Proverbs 29:27 - An unjust man is an abomination to the just: and he that is upright in the way is abomination to the wicked.

YermeYah - 1Corinthians 10:14 - Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.

YermeYah - And christmas is idolatry!

YermeYah - 2Chronicles 19:2 - And Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him, and said to king Jehoshaphat, Shouldest thou help the wicked, and love them that hate YAHWEH? therefore is wrath upon thee from before YAHWEH.

YermeYah - Nicolaitans are the enemies of YAHWEH!!

YermeYah - Psalms 26:5 - I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked.

YermeYah - And so, one of the ways to "become as a child" is to not practice the deeds of the Nicolaitans!

YermeYah - What are some of the characteristics of a child that is needed in order for us to be as Yahshua instructs?

YermeYah - Proverbs 3:5 - Trust in YAHWEH with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

YermeYah - Now, here are some more words of wisdom...that we as his children are to...

YermeYah - 1Kepha (1pet) 5:7 - casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

YermeYah - 8 - Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

YermeYah - 9 - Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.

YermeYah - I will end this with one final admonition from the apostle Kepha...

YermeYah - 2Kepha (2pet) 3:9 - YAHWEH is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

YermeYah - 10 - But the day of YAHWEH will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.

YermeYah - 11 - Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and reverence,

YermeYah - 12 - looking for and hastening the coming of the day of YAHWEH, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?

YermeYah - 13 - Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

YermeYah - 14 - Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless
