In our efforts to find the truth concerning the ways of Yahweh, it is easy to be influenced by the world and culture we live in.

In our world and culture, certain sins that are common place have a way of desensitizing us to them.

Fifty years ago, the things that are on Television today would be such an abomination, the public would revolt and criminal obscenity charges would be brought

But not today.

Today, there is a thirst for more and more "shock TV" and anything that fulfills the lust of the flesh.

What a change 50 years will make!

Things like this causes me to wonder what things have been brought into our faith in the last 1900 years that were originally shocking and abominable, but later came to be accepted as normal.

What is the truth that was once delivered to the saints?

Have we, through our cultural influence and upbringing, lost a proper understanding of what Yahweh considers to be abominable in His sight?

Man's opinion on what is an "abomination" isn't what Yahweh will be consulting on judgment day. Yahweh's word is the truth. His judgments are right!

Some things might not seem to be an abomination to most people, but are abominations to Yahweh.

And while we do not want to sin...we want to be particularly certain that we do not commit any abominations to Yahweh.

In Hebrew, the word that is translated "Abomination" means "something detestable"

An abomination is something that Yahweh utterly abhors and regards as absolutely disgusting.

So let's examine what Yahweh considers to be abominable.

The first may come as a shock to many:

Leviticus 11:10 - And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you:

Leviticus 11:11 - They shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcases in abomination.

Leviticus 11:12 - Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you.

Leviticus 11:13 - And these are they which ye shall have in abomination among the fowls; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray,

Leviticus 11:14 - And the vulture, and the kite after his kind;

Leviticus 11:15 - Every raven after his kind;

Leviticus 11:16 - And the owl, and the night hawk, and the cuckow, and the hawk after his kind,

Leviticus 11:17 - And the little owl, and the cormorant, and the great owl,

Leviticus 11:18 - And the swan, and the pelican, and the gier eagle,

...

Leviticus 11:41 - And every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth shall be an abomination; it shall not be eaten.

..

Leviticus 11:4 - Nevertheless these shall ye not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the hoof: as the camel, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.

The eating of unclean animals and fish are an abomination to Yahweh.

In the book of Isaiah, we read that Yahweh can't stand those who (among other things) eat abominable things:

Isaiah 65:2 - I have spread out my hands all the day unto a rebellious people, which walketh in a way that was not good, after their own thoughts;

Isaiah 65:3 - A people that provoketh me to anger continually to my face; that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense upon altars of brick;

Isaiah 65:4 - Which remain among the graves, and lodge in the monuments, which eat swine's flesh, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels;

Isaiah 65:5 - Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day.

We read again in Isaiah that in the end times Yahweh will destroy those who eat swine's flesh:

Isaiah 65:15 - And ye shall leave your name for a curse unto my chosen: for the Master YAHWEH shall slay thee, and call his servants by another name:

Isaiah 65:16 - That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the Elohim of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the Elohim of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes.

Isaiah 65:17 - For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

Isaiah 65:18 - But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.

Isaiah 66:15 - For, behold, YAHWEH will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.

Isaiah 66:16 - For by fire and by his sword will YAHWEH plead with all flesh: and the slain of YAHWEH shall be many.

Isaiah 66:17 - They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith YAHWEH.

Isaiah 66:18 - For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory.

These scriptures beg the question, "If Yahweh says the eating of these things are abominable to Him, why would He turn around and do away with this commandment later on as is commonly taught?"

The answer is that He did not do away with them, and these verses are clear evidence of that. It was an abomination then, and it is an abomination now. He is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Does it really make sense that eating pork is an abomination, something disgusting, vile, abhorring and detestable moments before Yahushua died and resurrected.. and then instantly all of those things were no longer so?

Here are some other abominations:

This is a common sin during these end times, especially in the last 20-30 years. In the 1980's, homosexuality was laughed at and viewed as something disgusting.

Today, if you speak out against it, you will quickly become an abomination to a lot of people.

Leviticus 20:13 - If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

If we speak against it, we are hated because:

Proverbs 29:27 - An unjust man is an abomination to the just: and he that is upright in the way is abomination to the wicked.

How much longer will Yahweh endure such abominations?

Leviticus 20:22 - Ye shall therefore keep all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: that the land, whither I bring you to dwell therein, spue you not out.

Leviticus 20:23 - And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.

Leviticus 20:24 - But I have said unto you, Ye shall inherit their land, and I will give it unto you to possess it, a land that floweth with milk and honey: I am YAHWEH your Elohim, which have separated you from other people.

Leviticus 20:25 - Ye shall therefore put difference between clean beasts and unclean, and between unclean fowls and clean: and ye shall not make your souls abominable by beast, or by fowl, or by any manner of living thing that creepeth on the ground, which I have separated from you as unclean.

Leviticus 20:26 - And ye shall be holy unto me: for I YAHWEH am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine.

Note that it says "ye shall not make your souls abominable" by eating these things.

When a person eats pork, they are making themselves abominable in Yahweh's eyes.

Do we want to become abominable in Yahweh's eyes?

Certainly not! Therefore, we should be diligent to eat what is clean. Many benign sounding ingredients like Glycerin, Natural Flavors, Gelatin, etc. can all contain these abominable things.

It can be found in soaps, toothpaste, just about any food imaginable... even the Bounty Paper Towels that people wipe their hands and mouth with.

The world does not care.

But we should care! We should submit to the word of Yahweh and be diligent to avoid the things that He considers abominable.

The whole earth is defiled..

Leviticus 18:22 - Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

Leviticus 18:23 - Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion.

Leviticus 18:24 - Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:

Leviticus 18:25 - And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.

Leviticus 18:26 - Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you:

Surely the nations of the earth are defiled with these things and the whole earth is defiled.

But judgment is coming:

Isaiah 24:4 - The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish.

Isaiah 24:5 - The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.

Isaiah 24:6 - Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.

The earth is defiled because people do not care what Yahweh's law says. They choose to transgress the laws, change His ordinance and break the everlasting covenant

Such is the case today!

Therefore, men defile themselves and the land they dwell in with these things.

Such defilement will be cleansed with fire as it says later in the chapter:

Isaiah 24:19 - The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.

Isaiah 24:20 - The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.

Isaiah 24:21 - And it shall come to pass in that day, that YAHWEH shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.

I once read that the earth's rotation was affected by the earthquake which caused the tsunami... a "slight wobble" to quote a scientist.

A sign of things to come, my brethren.. let's seek Yahweh! Let's separate ourselves from the abominations!

Here is a scripture showing why the observance of Christmas is an abomination:

Deuteronomy 12:29 - When YAHWEH thy Elohim shall cut off the nations from before thee, whither thou goest to possess them, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in their land;

Deuteronomy 12:30 - Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their elohim, saying, How did these nations serve their elohim? even so will I do likewise.

Deuteronomy 12:31 - Thou shalt not do so unto YAHWEH thy Elohim: for every abomination to YAHWEH, which he hateth, have they done unto their elohim; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their elohim.

"Thou shalt not do so unto YAHWEH thy Elohim" because He finds their works to be abominable.

All idolatry is an abomination to Yahweh. Even the idol itself is called an abomination:

Deuteronomy 27:15 - Cursed be the man that maketh any graven or molten image, an abomination unto YAHWEH, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and putteth it in a secret place. And all the people shall answer and say, so be it.

Deuteronomy 32:16 - They provoked him to jealousy with strange elohim, with abominations provoked they him to anger.

As was shared last week, we should not worship Yahweh in the same way that another nation worshiped their idols

We should worship Him in the way that He desires

Therefore, don't try to honor and worship Yahweh with a tradition rooted in idolatry! Don't take a pagan custom and apply it to the worship of Yahweh! Christmas is such a custom. Yahweh receives no honor when you associate Him with a holiday that has its roots in satan worship.

Deuteronomy 12:32 - What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.

Yahweh had a good reason for this!

He already gave us "holi-days", which (of course) the entire world ignores!

Beware lest we also have an idol hidden in our hearts, or in our homes:

Deuteronomy 7:26 - Neither shalt thou bring an abomination into thine house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it: but thou shalt utterly detest it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing.

Ezekiel 14:3 - Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their heart, and put the stumblingblock of their iniquity before their face: should I be inquired of at all by them?

We should rid our hearts and our homes of all idolatry, which Yahweh hates.

The various forms of media people use today are common inroads for this.

Let's also not put our will or mans will above Yahweh's will, lest we commit self idolatry

For if we are setting ourselves up as elohim...we are imitating satan's practices.

Some other abominations:

Deuteronomy 18:9 - When thou art come into the land which YAHWEH thy Elohim giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.

Deuteronomy 18:10 - There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch.

Yet many homes today are filled with Harry Potter witchcraft manuals and Disney movies loaded with magic and sorcery. Let's cleanse our homes from defilement and not bring abominations into our house.

When a television is tuned into the world's programming, abominations enter the house regularly. Let's put away the TV and pick up the word of Yahweh!

Yahweh sasy:

Deuteronomy 18:10 - There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch.

Deuteronomy 18:11 - Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.

Deuteronomy 18:12 - For all that do these things are an abomination unto YAHWEH: and because of these abominations YAHWEH thy Elohim doth drive them out from before thee.

Again we see that Yahweh will not bear these abominations in a land, let alone in our own homes!

Remember that Saul the King died soon after trying to consult Samuel thru a medium. Psychics, palm readers, tarot card readers, mediums, ouija boards, magic this and magic that.. all abominations to Yahweh.

More abominations...

Deuteronomy 22:5 - The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto YAHWEH thy Elohim.

Surely we see this in our age also. From what I understand, the current hip hugger "jeans style" started when girls started wearing their boyfriends pants. The lands are indeed full of abominations.

Deuteronomy 23:18 - Thou shalt not bring the hire of a whore, or the price of a dog, into the house of YAHWEH thy Elohim for any vow: for even both these are abomination unto YAHWEH thy Elohim.

A "dog" is a male prostitute. Yahweh doesn't want money acquired thru sin in His tithe...

Yet, I have heard that some people who are struggling with working on the Sabbath.. will work on the Sabbath and then give the money they made while working on the Sabbath to Yahweh. It ought not be so!

More abominations...

Deuteronomy 24:1 - When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house.

Deuteronomy 24:2 - And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man's wife.

Deuteronomy 24:3 - And if the latter husband hate her, and write her a bill of divorcement, and giveth it in her hand, and sendeth her out of his house; or if the latter husband die, which took her to be his wife;

Deuteronomy 24:4 - Her former husband, which sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, after that she is defiled; for that is abomination before YAHWEH: and thou shalt not cause the land to sin, which YAHWEH thy Elohim giveth thee for an inheritance.

Yet today there are certain "Divorce and Remarriage" doctrines out there which promote the idea of a person going back to their original spouse. Yahweh calls that an abomination. (See also http://www.eliyah.com/family/divorceremarriage.html )

More abominations...

Deuteronomy 25:15 - But thou shalt have a perfect and just weight, a perfect and just measure shalt thou have: that thy days may be lengthened in the land which YAHWEH thy Elohim giveth thee.

Proverbs 11:1 - A false balance is abomination to YAHWEH: but a just weight is his delight.

So cheating others out of money is an abomination...(Especially if that person is poor!). The scams we see today...nothing new under the sun. Scam attempts on the internet are rampant.

Proverbs 11:20 - They that are of a froward heart are abomination to YAHWEH: but such as are upright in their way are his delight.

Froward means perverse or unruly. The people of our generation has gained a perverse and unruly heart because they do not acknowledge what Yahweh calls abominable.

Yahweh says:

Deuteronomy 17:1 - Thou shalt not sacrifice unto YAHWEH thy Elohim any bullock, or sheep, wherein is blemish, or any evilfavouredness: for that is an abomination unto YAHWEH thy Elohim.

We may not offer a physical sacrifice today, but we do offer spiritual offerings of praise to Yahweh, often through music

Today, some are more concerned about lifting themselves up and selling albums than making a pure, holy offering of praise to Yahweh

Our praises to Him need to be without blemish and defect.

Now here is an interesting verse:

Proverbs 6:16 - These six things doth YAHWEH hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:

Proverbs 6:17 - A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,

Proverbs 6:18 - An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,

Proverbs 6:19 - A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

Various parts of our body can be an abomination to Yahweh. Our countenance (proud look), our tongue (if it speaks lies), our hands (if they shed innocent blood), our hearts (if they devise wicked imaginations), our feet (if they are quick to run to mischief) and if we speak any false matter against another or sow discord between brethren.

Note that "Hands that shed innocent blood" is an abomination

2Kings 24:3 - Surely at the commandment of YAHWEH came this upon Judah, to remove them out of his sight, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did;

2Kings 24:4 - And also for the innocent blood that he shed: for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood; which YAHWEH would not pardon.

Manassah offered children in the fire to molech. Innocent blood was shed in abundance.

In the nations today...TRULY the spirit of Molech is in full force with "Abortions". But let's call it what it is: MURDER

It is sad that one of the the most dangerous places to live in the world is "inside mommy!" 1 out of 4 children are murdered by their own mother.

In other countries, the rate is higher than that! In Russia, there are 200 abortions for every 100 births

Yahweh did not pardon Judah when the land was filled with the shedding of innocent blood. Truly the abominations of this world are piling high.

One day, Yahweh will cleanse the earth with fire. Let's not have any part of what Yahweh calls abominations!

Proverbs 12:2 - A good man obtaineth favour of YAHWEH: but a man of wicked devices will he condemn.

Proverbs 12:22 - Lying lips are abomination to YAHWEH: but they that deal truly are his delight.

Proverbs 8:6 - Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips shall be right things.

Proverbs 8:7 - For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips.

So our words can be abominations to Yahweh if they are lies. Let's have nothing to do with lies... for the father of lies is none other than satan.

Here is an interesting verse:

Proverbs 17:15 - He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to YAHWEH.

This reminds me of the lawyers who defend the ones they know are guilty, and the prosecutors who prosecute ones they know are falsely accused.

It also reminds me of how some people want to make quick "snap judgments" about another person's character when they really do not know the facts!

And it reminds me of how the world always thinks that those who died were "good", no matter how evil a life they lived.

Proverbs 21:26 - He coveteth greedily all the day long: but the righteous giveth and spareth not.

Proverbs 21:27 - The sacrifice of the wicked is abomination: how much more, when he bringeth it with a wicked mind?

What is the sacrifice of the wicked?

We read in scripture that Yahweh can not endure a sinner making a sacrifice unto Him..it is vain.

For instance...

Isaiah 1:11 - To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith YAHWEH: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.

Isaiah 1:12 - When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts?

Isaiah 1:13 - Bring no more futile sacrifices; Incense is an abomination to Me. The New Moons, the Sabbaths, and the calling of assemblies -- I cannot endure iniquity and the sacred meeting.

Why was Yahweh upset? Because they did these things while living a life of willful sin! What purpose is sacrifice? Is obedience not better than to sacrifice?

It's like one who sins all day long, then spending an evening in worship without even repenting.

Or one who willfully sins all week long, then goes to worship Yahweh on the Sabbath or even on Sunday.

1Samuel 15:22 - And Samuel said, Hath YAHWEH as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of YAHWEH? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.

But rest assured there will be congregations filled with the sacrifices of the wicked.

Proverbs 28:9 - He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.

In scripture, both prayer and praise is likened to sacrifices.

Psalms 141:2 - Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.

But those who refuse to turn their ear to the Torah/law of Yahweh, scripture says even their prayer is an abomination.

The more we want to hear Yahweh, the more willing Yahweh is to hear us. Our communication with Yahweh needs to be two way!

Some teach that all sin is the same and no sin is worse than another.

But hear the word of Yahweh...

Ezekiel 8:4 - And, behold, the glory of the Elohim of Israel was there, according to the vision that I saw in the plain.

Ezekiel 8:5 - Then said he unto me, Son of man, lift up thine eyes now the way toward the north. So I lifted up mine eyes the way toward the north, and behold northward at the gate of the altar this image of jealousy in the entry.

Ezekiel 8:6 - He said furthermore unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do? even the great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? but turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations.

"Greater abominations?"

Yes. Contrary to pop theology, not all sin is equal. Some sins are more abominable than other sins.

Ezekiel 8:7 - And he brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, behold a hole in the wall.

Ezekiel 8:8 - Then said he unto me, Son of man, dig now in the wall: and when I had digged in the wall, behold a door.

Ezekiel 8:9 - And he said unto me, Go in, and behold the wicked abominations that they do here.

Ezekiel 8:10 - So I went in and saw; and behold every form of creeping things, and abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, pourtrayed upon the wall round about.

Ezekiel 8:11 - And there stood before them seventy men of the ancients of the house of Israel, and in the midst of them stood Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan, with every man his censer in his hand; and a thick cloud of incense went up.

Ezekiel 8:12 - Then said he unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, YAHWEH seeth us not; YAHWEH hath forsaken the earth.

They thought Yahweh couldn't see them behind the hole in the wall. We are just as foolish if we do not realize that every work we do IS written down!

Ecclesiastes 12:14 - For Elohim shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil. .

Continuing in Ezekiel...

Ezekiel 8:13 - He said also unto me, Turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations that they do.

Imagine.. all this taking place in Yahweh's house:

Ezekiel 8:14 - Then he brought me to the door of the gate of YAHWEH's house which was toward the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz.

Ezekiel 8:15 - Then said he unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations than these.

How painful it must have been for Yahweh to behold these things. We need to be sure that we have no remnant of idolatrous (abominable) practices in our own walk with Him.

For there is alot of leftover sun worship in modern day religions, including mainstream Christianity. Many abominable things they inherited from the traditions of the 'church fathers'.

Ezekiel 8:16 - And he brought me into the inner court of YAHWEH's house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of YAHWEH, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of YAHWEH, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.

Ezekiel 8:17 - Then he said unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke me to anger: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose.

other abominations..

Ezekiel 43:8 - In their setting of their threshold by my thresholds, and their post by my posts, and the wall between me and them, they have even defiled my holy name by their abominations that they have committed: wherefore I have consumed them in mine anger.

Yahweh must be regarded as holy, and we should hold Him in reverence rather than in the irreverent way of modern religion

We who bear His name must hold it in reverence

Beware of defiling Yahweh's great name by committing abominations while claiming to follow Him! When people see the abominations, they will associate Yahweh's name with your actions.

We must walk in righteousness and sincerely repent if we do fail.

We must seek Yahweh's will diligently.. out of love for Him.

Has He not been severely wronged by man whom He created?

We all have wronged Him, but He loved us anyway and wants us to turn away from these abominations.

For this reason He sent His Son Yahushua to cleanse us from all these things and walk in a new life of purity and righteousness. Let no man lie to you and say it is okay to commit any of these abominations now!

If we will only seek the truth..

Jeremiah 6:16 - Thus saith YAHWEH, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.

Jeremiah 6:17 - Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken.

Brethren, if we have any abominations in our lives.. let's forsake them! They are offensive to the One that we claim to love.

Let's ask for the old paths, wherein is the good way

Jeremiah 6:18 - Therefore hear, ye nations, and know, O congregation, what is among them.

Jeremiah 6:19 - Hear, O earth: behold, I will bring evil upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not hearkened unto my words, nor to my law, but rejected it.

The Torah/Law of Yahweh is not to be rejected, but embraced as much as any other portion of Yahweh's word.

So let's walk therein! Let's hearken (listen) to Yahweh's words. Let's not reject His law, let's receive it!

Yahweh wants to grant us His wisdom. We only need to ask for it, and have a willingness to walk therein

James 1:5 - If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of YAHWEH, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

There is no wisdom like the Torah, which is our wisdom:

Deuteronomy 4:6 - Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.

Keeping and doing Yahweh's commandments is wisdom.

While our works may be an abomination to the world, given time many will see the wisdom of what we do.

For those of you who are new to this walk, you probably have some in your family who have rejected you.

Be patient and let Yahushua shine through you. Eventually, many of those who reject you will start to see the wisdom in doing what Yahweh says to do.

Don't be unnecessarily harsh with others... rather, have the attitude of the psalmist:

Psalms 119:131 - I opened my mouth, and panted: for I longed for thy commandments.

Psalms 119:132 - Look thou upon me, and be merciful unto me, as thou usest to do unto those that love thy name.

Love His word, cry out for His mercy..

Desire Yahweh's leading..

Psalms 119:133 - Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.

Seek His deliverance from the oppression of men...

Psalms 119:134 - Deliver me from the oppression of man: so will I keep thy precepts.

Desire Yahweh's grace and favor in Your life...

Psalms 119:135 - Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; and teach me thy statutes.

And weep with Him over the abominations on the earth

Psalms 119:136 - Rivers of waters run down mine eyes, because they keep not thy law.

The day will come...

Revelation 21:23 - The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of YAHWEH illuminated it. The Lamb is its light.

Revelation 21:24 - And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it.

Revelation 21:25 - Its gates shall not be shut at all by day (there shall be no night there).

Revelation 21:26 - And they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it.

Revelation 21:27 - But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb's Book of Life.

Do we desire to be there?

Let's forsake all defilement, abominations and lies. Let's be diligent to seek His salvation, love His light, and walk in the path of Yahushua the Messiah.

For in the end, it is those who are willing to believe in Him and walk in His footsteps who will prevail. His word says it, let's seek to do so!

And as you do so, may Yahweh bless you and may Yahweh have mercy on us all.
