<EliYah> Tonite I want to talk about something that has taken the world captive It has almost become a religion in itself It is the most loved part of the year by all the merchants of the earth And the most hated festival by me Its called Christmas
Today is a day of materialism in the United States The biggest shopping day of the year..All because of a Roman god And tradition.. Sometimes tradition is acceptable. Sometimes it is not acceptable in the sight of Yahweh. The evil of traditions that transgress the commmandment of Yahweh was a key teaching that Yahshua the Messiah taught on.
Matthew 15:1 - Then came to YAHSHUA scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying,:2 - Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.
I hear people ask me this..> Why do you transgress the traditions of our elders? My answer would be the same as Yahshua's except I would apply it to Christmas
Matthew 15:3 - But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of YAHWEH by your tradition?
Surely this is what is taking place with the tradition of Christmas
Matthew 15:4 - For YAHWEH commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.
Matthew 15:5 - But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me;:6 - And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of YAHWEH of none effect by your tradition.
This was an example of how the scribes and pharisees forsook the commandment of Yahweh in favor of their tradition.. As I will share, Christmas is transgressing the commandment of Yahweh in favor of tradition! What does Yahshua think about this?
Matthew 15:7 - Ye hypocrites, well did Isaiah prophesy of you, saying,:8 - This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
Christmas is honoring with the lips but their heart is in materialism and falsehood
Matthew 15:9 - But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
It is VAINClearly, doctrines and commandments of men is vain worship.
There is not a single scripture in the bible that tells us that we are to celebrate the birth nor the resurrection of Yahshua the Messiah. Let alone in a pagan way! The following is a quote from my Encyclopaedia Brittanica, Volume 11 ; page 390. "During the later periods of Roman history, sun worship gained in importance and ultimately led to what has been called a 'solar monotheism.' Nearly all the gods of the period were possessed of Solar qualities, and both Christ and Mithra acquired the traits of solar seities. The feast of Sol and Victus (open unconquered Sun) on December 25th was celebrated with great joy, and eventually this date was taken over by the Christians as Christmas, the birthday of Christ." !!
The Christians were trying to get more converts So they adapted a pagan holiday to their worship.. To appease the pagans in 336 AD Now I ask..."WHO CONVERTED WHO???"Do we murder to bring a murderer to Yahshua? Do we rape to bring a rapist to Yahshua? Well, the mainstream beliefs were far from the truth the apostles taught anyway.. But still...it was the pagans that converted the christians to the holiday!
So yes, I question these traditions that have been handed down to this generationMany Christians speak against the Catholic traditions of Lent, Ash Wednesday, etc. Yet they should know that the same types of pagan festivals exist in the celebration of Christmas! So if you are keeping these things, seek out the origins of these festivals!! You will find that nearly all of the customs have pagan origin. December 25 is the birthday of nearly every pagan god ever invented!
Consider the scriptures that I will quote that clearly proclaim that the keeping of these festivals is sinful.I ask that you seek this out for yourself. Yahweh's people always seek the truth. Christmas is pagan
Jeremiah 10:1 - Hear ye the word which YAHWEH speaketh unto you, O house of Israel:
This is Yahweh speaking to Israel..
Jeremiah 10:2 - Thus saith YAHWEH, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.
First of all, Yahweh is saying in this verse "Do not learn the way of the Gentiles"!
Don't even learn it, let alone practice it! Where was this verse in 336 AD? It was there.. But the Gentiles were dismayed at the signs of heaven. When the sun began to go furthur away from the earth and the days grew shorter in the winter, the sun worshipping Gentiles feared that the sun would not return. So they held certain festivals around the time of the Winter Solstice when it did begin to return. They rejoiced..The 'Sun was reborn' So let's read this again..
Jeremiah 10:2 - Thus saith YAHWEH, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.:3 - For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.:4 - They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.
Yes, we see this same custom exist even today which is called the Christmas tree!! Have you ever wondered why in the world someone would do something as strange as cut down a tree and put it in their house and then decorate it with all different types of ornaments? Not only is it odd, it is pagan.This custom, along with other pagan customs like it are clearly condemned in this passage. Other pagan customs include Mistletoe, the yule log and Santa Claus. If you seek, you will find that these things are pagan also All over the world, Santa Claus is a god to the children of the world. Or as some say 'Father Christmas' The parents purposely lie to the children and tell them that they should fear Santa Claus because "he knows if you've been bad or good". If they have been bad, they won't get all these wordly gifts. If they are good..they get these gifts Oddly enough...I see spoiled brats getting gifts no matter what? Anyway... This is clearly a total abomination to Yahweh!
You don't have to look very far in the word of Yahweh to find out how much he loathes idolatry. Yahweh is the only true Mighty One. How abominable for a believer to teach their children to fear Santa Claus and creep an idol into the conscience of a child! Now let's take this a step furthur. Yes, it is sinful in the eyes of Yahweh to practice these traditions. It is also even a more heinous sin to take these traditions of the pagans and apply them to the worship of Yahweh!
Deuteronomy 12:29 - When YAHWEH thy Elohim shall cut off the nations from before thee, whither thou goest to possess them, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in their land;
(This is Yahweh warning the children of Israel about what NOT to do when going into the promised land)
Deuteronomy 12:30 - Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their elohim, saying, How did these nations serve their elohim? even so will I do likewise.
Not "Let us serve there elohim (gods)"but "HOW do they serve there elohim"
Deuteronomy 12:31 - Thou shalt not do so unto YAHWEH thy Elohim: for every abomination to YAHWEH, which he hateth, have they done unto their elohim; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their elohim.
Very CLEAR. Thou shalt not do so unto YAHWEH thy Elohim: He loathes their traditions! So it is abundantly clear. Do not worship Yahweh in a pagan way! Do not add to His commandments and do not take away from His commandments. Christmas takes pagan festivals and traditions and applies them to the worship of Yahweh. This is clearly condemned here.
Would it be right to take a Satanic holiday that Satanists have invented and then apply that holiday to Yahweh's worship? Most people would say "No!" Yet they do it without realizing it? All paganism is satanism. Satan is behind all pagan worship. And whatever god the pagans worship, little do they know they are worshipping satan. Now consider this verse:
1Corinthians 10:21 - Ye cannot drink the cup of YAHWEH, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of YAHWEH's table, and of the table of devils.
Which table will you choose? I hope it is Yahweh's table..

To us, the holiday may seem fine and dandy if we have christianized it, but YHWH was there when the sin was originated... He was there when the Christians or messianics or whatever started keeping this pagan day of celebration... He saw the sin originate... He was there.... Think about that... Do you perpetuate the sin? Or do we go back to the time before the sin? Do we throw out the sin? Or do we condone it?
