BrTom - HalleluYAH !
Matthew 23:39 - For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of YHWH.This is the continuation on the message: Are you Yahshua's Disciple?
Matthew 5:48 - Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. What is this perfection we see being spoken of here?
Is it our wealth or material possessions? Is it our good deeds?
How good are deeds if they are only done when its 'convenient' for us to do so?
How good are they if we seek the approval or praise of others when we do them?
May Yahweh be our motivating factor!
What is this perfection we see being spoken of in Mat 5:48?
I propose that part of the perfection we should be striving for here, is in character…
The fruits of the Ruach (Spirit) are what Yahweh wants us to grow in.
2Corinthians 12:9 - And He has said to me, "My favor is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness." Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, that the power of the Messiah may dwell in me.
2Corinthians 12:10 - Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for the Messiah's sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong.Yahweh's power is perfected when we have nothing to boast of in ourselves, or of our own works.. our righteousness is as filthy rags.
the works we do are only truly righteous, when Yahweh is THE factor.
Matthew 6:31 - Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
Matthew 6:32 - (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
Matthew 6:33 - But seek ye first the kingdom of YHWH, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Matthew 6:34 - Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.Food, Shelter and Clothing, are all things that Yahweh is more than capable of giving us… when and if such things are expedient to our growth.
So, considering this……
We have nothing to complain about, or any reason to be unthankful for any circumstance we find ourselves in.
Would you not think, that complaining can be a way of doing alms before men? (Letting men know your strength by the heavy trials you are going through, etc.)
Matthew 6:1 - Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.
Matthew 6:2 - Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.Seek the greater reward..
Matthew 6:3 - But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:
Matthew 6:4 - That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.
Matthew 6:5 - And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.Seek the greater reward....
Matthew 6:14 - For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
Matthew 6:15 - But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.Seek the greater reward!!
John 6:27 - Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath the Father sealed.Strive to grow in the fruits of the spirit, constantly asking to be cleansed, purified that we may grow closer to Yahweh.
Ask Yahweh to strengthen and develop the Ruach He has given us. Ask Him to remove the impurities from our lives, as He reveals them to us.
Ask Him to ever open our eyes to His correction, that we be His children....
Romans 8:18 - For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.Rejoicing in trials, brings praise and honor to Yahweh.
For you are acknowledging that He is a righteous and just discipliner, chastener and teacher!
A blessing to any child who accepts and learns from Father Yahweh's rebuke, chastening, scourging, refining and correction. \o/
If we complain about Yahweh's chastening, or the circumstances He puts us in, then we are not children.
Hebrews 12:8 - But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons.Let us all encourage each other when we are in trials to rejoice in them!!
Do not cast dishonor at Yahweh by suggesting by complaining that He is unjust, or that He burdens you unjustly!!!
Praise Yahweh instead!!
Hebrews 12:4 - You have not yet resisted to bloodshed, striving against sin.
Hebrews 12:5 - And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons: "My son, do not despise the chastening of YAHWEH, nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him;
Hebrews 12:6 - For whom YAHWEH loves He chastens, and scourges every son whom He receives."
Hebrews 12:7 - If you endure chastening, YAHWEH deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten?
Hebrews 12:8 - But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons.
Hebrews 12:9 - Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live?
Hebrews 12:10 - For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but He for our profit, that we may be partakers of His holiness.Yahweh will not place anything upons us that we cannot bear
if we feel over whelmed, it should be habit to call in prayer to Yahweh to help us.
2Corinthians 4:16 - Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day.
2Corinthians 4:17 - For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison,
2Corinthians 4:18 - while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.far beyond all comparison!
Matthew 6:19 - Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
Matthew 6:20 - But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
Matthew 6:21 - For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Matthew 6:22 - The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
Matthew 6:23 - But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! The evil and good eye can also be related to the physical/flesh……..… Are we generous, or stingy? Simple as that.
Do we look at our Brethren with a good eye: Generous, expecting, and taking for granted that their intentions are good, that they are struggling, just as you are, striving to do Yahweh's will, wanting to overcome the flesh that gets in the way?
Do we?
Is our eye generous to our brother when we look at him Spiritually?
Or do we have an evil eye: an eye that is looking with suspicion or mistrust or sarcasm, at our brethren, suspecting evil or selfish motives, because that is what is in our hearts!!!???
Is our eye stingy, holding a grudge, slow to forgive, expecting wrong, or suspecting evil motives?
We all know that we have fallen short…. If the arrow misses the mark by 1 foot, or ten feet, the fact still remains..IT MISSED THE MARK.
So! Who are we to boast, or feel any bit exalted above a brother who misses the mark by 10 feet, when we still missed the mark ourselves??? Whether by 1 foot or 9 feet?
Matt 7:1-5 tells us to examine ourselves before we judge..
Matthew 7:1 - Judge not, that ye be not judged.
Matthew 7:2 - For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
Matthew 7:3 - And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
Matthew 7:4 - Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
Matthew 7:5 - Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.first cast out the beam out of thine own eye;
then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.
why? because we have the experience....painful? can we empathize and not be perhaps too judgmental? Yet speak with authority of one who knows?
Hebrews 12:14 - Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see YAHWEH:
Hebrews 12:15 - looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the favor of YAHWEH; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled;looking diligently...
Ephesians 4:1 - I, therefore, the prisoner of Yahushua, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called,
Ephesians 4:2 - with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love,
Ephesians 4:3 - endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love....
The rest of Ephesians on to CH 6 is recommended to read with this
Meekness is being able to TRULY forgive others when you feel they have done you wrong, or if they truly have done you wrong.
Our examples can be: Yahshua, Moses, Stephen, forgiving…..
Count the cost…..realize that we must put away the fleshly desire of revenge..of striking back for real or imagined injuries or assaults.
We should return good for evil.
Do we have any lesser example than that??
Psalms 119:165 - Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them. Why shall nothing offend them? Because they love Yahweh's teaching….
Yahweh's teaching teaches us mercy, patience, longsuffering…. The example He gives us, in his dealings with us.
As we desire Yahweh's mercy, patience and understanding, for us, so should we be ready to give the same to others..
Do you have that Great Shalom???
Our mission here, is to learn to walk as Yahshua walked, to become like him….. He is our perfect example. \o/
The students becoming like the ONE true teacher.
Right now with the differences we have amongst us, we can start seeing a purpose… calendar issues, new moon issues, Passover issues, other differences…
These can be set straight very quickly when Yahshua returns …. Does salvation hinge on what we know..? Or does it hinge on how we use what we do know?
This doesn't mean that we do not continue to seek the truth of these matters, for it is the esteem of Yahweh to conceal a matter, and the esteem of Kings to search it out…
Our purpose now, is to deal with these differences bearing forth the fruits of the Ruach/Spirit while we search these matters out.
These differences or hidden matters might be allowed that we may have the opportunity to grow Spiritually, to develop the fruits of the Ruach/Spirit….
...
We are shown by Yahshua's example that we should be patient, longsuffering humble servants.
John 13:3 - Yahushua knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from YHWH, and went to YHWH;
John 13:4 - He riseth from supper, and laid aside his garments; and took a towel, and girded himself.
John 13:5 - After that he poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded.
John 13:6 - Then cometh he to Simon Kepha: and Kepha saith unto him, Rabbi, dost thou wash my feet?
John 13:7 - Yahushua answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter.......

John 13:13 - Ye call me Master and Rabbi: and ye say well; for so I am.
John 13:14 - If I then, your Rabbi and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet.
John 13:15 - For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.
John 13:16 - Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his master; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.The servant is not greater than his master; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.
John 13:17 - If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them!!
Matthew 20:25 - But Yahushua called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them.

Matthew 20:27 - And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:
Matthew 20:28 - Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
Matthew 23:11 - But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.....
Matthew 24:45 - Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
Matthew 24:46 - Blessed is that servant, whom his master when he cometh shall find so doing.

Matthew 24:51 - And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
May this not happen to any brethren we know!!
even the one we know as US!!
ourselves.
.......
Say you were crippled and needed a servant to take care of you?
Think of all the things that person would have to do, to properly take care of you.
Some here might be very familiar with this.
now....
Think of all the things that person would have to do, to properly take care of you..........
What if YOU had YOU for a servant?
How caring would you be, how understanding? How patient, how uncomplaining? How willing?
Do we grumble? Are we lukewarm disciples? Are we lukewarm servants, fair-weather disciples…
When Yahshua comes back, are we going to be told… well done good and faithful servant?
Or Thou wicked and slothful servant?
.......Yahweh willing, it will be the former for all of us!!
Zephaniah 2:3 - Seek ye YHWH, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of YHWH's anger. When we are growing and thirsting for the building of the Ruach/Spirit within us… as the deer pants for the water. We will be far more able to love our brother.
Revelations 22:17 - And the Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.
1John 3:10 - In this the children of YHWH and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of YHWH, nor is he who does not love his brother.

obedience and love
1John 3:12 - not as Cain who was of the wicked one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his works were evil and his brother's righteous.
1John 3:13 - Do not marvel, my brethren, if the world hates you.
1John 3:14 - We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death. He who does not love his brother abides in death.
1John 3:15 - Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.
1John 3:16 - By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.because He laid down His life for us!!
what were we before He came along??
Into our lives??
And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
Do we die to self, when it involves the differences we face with our brethren?
We cannot be complacent, we are given truth to walk therein…. The next level, is to develop the fruits of the Ruach (spirit).
1John 3:17 - But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of YHWH abide in him?
1John 3:18 - My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.
1John 3:19 - And by this we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him.But in deed and in truth, and by this we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him.
1John 3:20 - For if our heart condemns us, YHWH is greater than our heart, and knows all things.listen to the Ruach...
1John 3:21 - Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward YHWH.
1John 3:22 - And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.have no overwhelming concern for the fleshly matters...seek ye first the Kingdom..
Yahweh provides!
.......
Remember the separation of the Goats / sheep. Mattt 25:30-45 .....?
1John 3:23 - And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Yahushua the Messiah and love one another, as He gave us commandment.

1John 5:4 - For whatever is born of YHWH overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world--our faith. Our faith that Yahweh will be a righteous judge, where do we have any room for indignation, self-righteousness, or scorn? N
We can consider the beauty of chodeshness/holiness …. Have we ever considered how ugly sin really is? Anything that is not peaceful, anything that is prideful, or self-centered. Anything that is contrary to Yahweh's perfect will becomes ugly.
Compare 1Cor 13:4-8 , and 2Cor 12:20.......

John 15:17 - These things I command you, that ye love one another. Our Attitude, do we trust in Yahweh for justice to be done? Do we remind ourselves that before repentance we have been just as guilty? Do we deal with others mercifully? For with what judgment we judge, and what mercy we show, so shall be done to us.
Luke 17:3 - Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.

.....
Humility: being thankful no matter what, uncomplaining, patience, gentleness.
We can see that some main distinguishing characteristics of one of Yahshua's disciples, is attitude…frame of mind..fruits of the Ruach/Spirit, mercy ,love…
let us find what is acceptable to Yahweh. \o/
May Yahweh be magnified in everything everyone who reads this message puts his hand to do. \o/
