*** `Watchman changes topic to "Sabbath meeting in progress..."

Welcome to Sabbath Services on #1MESSIAH

We are gathered together to praise and worship Father YAHWEH...And to learn of His Word. The purpose of this channel is to make disciples of all the nations as Yahshua commanded. Let us remember His words tonite: (Matt 11:28-30)

"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

All are encouraged to participate after the sermon is completed and everyone is given voice.Prayer and testimonies may be given at this time. Also, please share any prayer requests that you might have. #1MESSIAH is a meeting place for non-denominational believers who stand on the Word of YAHWEH. We openly welcome all who hunger and thirst after righteousness. Praise YAHWEH for allowing us to be together this night. YAHWEH bless you, and enjoy tonight's sermon, worship, praise and fellowship. PS... Please remember to adjust your screen to wide :)

<EliYah> BroDavid has a message to share tonite...go ahead BroDavid :)

<BroDavid> Matthew 19:19 - Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

<BroDavid> Two great commandments yahshua gave us , as He quoted from the Torah the first is one with a result promised of long life and well being

Ephesians 6:2 - "Honor your father and mother," which is the first commandment with promise:

The second is extremely important. Notice what it says? "thou shalt LOVE thy neighbor as thyself as thyself!

Ephesians 5:29 - For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as YAHSHUA does the church.

How do we love ourselves? most of us do a pretty good job of it...too good! So, we should love our neighbor AS ourself In fact, we should love them even MORE than ourselves

Philippians 2:4 - Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.

this is one of the GREATEST commandments!

1John 4:20 - If someone says, "I love YAHWEH," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love YAHWEH whom he has not seen?

second only to loving YHWH Now, what is the meaning of "love"? Is this some ooey-gooey feeling? Some "Protestant" distraction from keeping the Law? or learning sound doctrine? YHWH forbid!

1John 5:2 - By this we know that we love the children of YAHWEH, when we love YAHWEH and keep His commandments.:3 - For this is the love of YAHWEH, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.

remember, the last third of the Scriptures are preserved in Greek, in the manuscripts we have. There are 3 different words which are used in that text for "love" In spite of the Hebraic roots of Scripture, I think this study will shed some light on what Yahshua meant the first is "philos", or "friendship" yahshua said to kepha, do you LOVE me? this word "love" was not philos. Yet, Kepha said , "yes, I PHILOS you" Yahshua had to ask him three times! he did not get the message, or would not commit to saying that he LOVEd Yahshua

John 21:16 - He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Rabbi; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.:17 - He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Kepha was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Rabbi, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. YAHSHUA saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

The word yahshua used was AGAPE in the texts we have today This word means far more than friendship (though He IS our friend, too!) the word AGAPE meaneth sacrificial love...or love which is undeserved. Love which is given without having been earned Again...are we speaking on this to avoid having to deal with the commandments?

John 13:34 - A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

YHWH forbid! This is a NEW commandment...not that it cancels out the old. Our legislature in the country I am in (united states of america) makes new laws every week. They are doing so, because we are in the last days. Lawlessness abounds

Matthew 24:12 - And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

iniquity meaneth "lawlessness" The legislature makes all these burdensome laws because the people are lawless. No one takes notice that they are drowning us in a sea of new laws! In fact, that Scripture refers to the legislature themselves! many of these new laws are against the US Constitution! This is lawlessness on their part. to pass laws against a higher law Because the love of many has waxed cold Now, we claim to be the people of Yahweh, don't we? We are the ones who are supposed to know how to love? Well, apparently, we have not been able to properly convey and teach this to those around us, because it has not been learned by the many Our example is paramount! The way we react when we are wronged is our testimony to those we say we are trying to "convert" What do they see? What do they behold when they look at us??? Do they see the likeness of the Messiah? Do they see the attitude of a loving Creator? Or just a regular bitter, angry person? Now, sometimes we even act rudely to those we call our "brothers and sisters"! how is that?

Galatians 5:15 - But if you bite and devour one another, beware lest you be consumed by one another!

Ephesians 4:32 - And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as YAHWEH in the Messiah forgave you.

The message here is that we need to have Brotherly Kindness one to another.

Matthew 5:44 - But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;:45 - That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.:46 - For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?

Notice. When we do good to those that are good to us, it is worth a $1 bill. But, when we are good to those who do evil to us, it is worth a $100 bill! They look the same on the outside, and from a distance, but those who discern well can tell immediately (couldn't YOU tell the difference between a $1 and $100 bill?)

Matthew 5:23 - Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;:24 - Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.

This is of paramount importance! YHWH won't even hear our prayers, if we are not clear with our brother! :-(

James 5:16 - Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

And who is the brother/sister who is closest to us? Our mates! The dear person YHWH hath put in our homes with us to help and serve us. The precious gift He hath given to be at our side!

1Peter 3:6 - as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him master, whose daughters you are if you do good and are not afraid with any terror.:7 - Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the favor of life, that your prayers may not be hindered.:8 - Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous;

Notice..that our prayers can be hindered if wives do not obey their husbands! Notice, our prayers can be hindered if husbands do not have understanding of their wives needs and frailty! Look what cometh next! ALL of us need to be loving to each other, lest OUR prayers be hindered! Does it not say that? Now, I call upon each and every one of us to reconcile with the brother/sister who we have had differences with. That co-heir of the great Gift YHWH has offered all of His children. Let us love one another in a REAL way! In a sacrificial way! But you say unto me, "Do you know what he did to me???" Well, what did WE do to Yahshua? We have been unworthy toward Him. And yet, while we did, He died for us. What greater love could there be? :-( we ought to mourn daily for our sins

Romans 5:8 - But YAHWEH commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, the Messiah died for us.

1Corinthians 5:2 - And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.

this is how we should sacrifice for our brother. Even when it hurts. Even when he hath hurt us! IF we are to be like the One whom we say we follow. Or, is our faith just empty words?

1John 3:18 - My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

Let us think now...as we sit here tonight, of who we have wronged. Let us make reparations to those whom we have defrauded by our lack of love, by our neglect. Who is it? How about the person you used to be very close friends with? You know, the one you had an argument with about some silly doctrine you both thought was so important at the time? Who is it? Think about the silly religious arguments we have! Of what gain are they anyway? We, who claim to be "religious" are often the laughing stock of our community. They see us preach "love" and act like little children sometimes Indeed, there is a time when we are new to this Way of life we call our Faith. There is a time when we can act out of character, because we don't know the ropes yet. We sometimes act childish defending something we are SURE is of Yahweh, but is really just imaginations of our own heart...or maybe something made up and held to by someone we respect then, we defend it as if it were of yahweh. Well, remember the Word of Yahweh to us about this childish way?

1Corinthians 13:11 - When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

Then do we get to the point that we can have "righteous anger" at another person? Bill Gothard says "the problem with 'righteous anger' is that few of us are righteous enough to have it!"

Romans 3:10 - As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

We are SURE we are right, and the other person is wrong...so sure, we would, at the time, bet our lives on it! (and some DO just this!)

Proverbs 14:12 - There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

and again..

Proverbs 16:25 - There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

When in a dispute with a brother, let us be humble. Let us be LOOKING for a way to find our brother right. At least this way, we will not miss it if he is We are commanded not to take a brother to court

1Corinthians 6:6 - But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers.:7 - Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded?

We are to judge in very large matters one day!

1Corinthians 6:3 - Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

yet we cannot even show ourselves faithful judging the least matters!

Luke 19:17 - And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities.

Here we are shown, in parable, that he who is faithful in little things, will be given much more to be responsible for! But, I tell you, if not, then we are headed for destruction! This IS the Law! Love your brother!

1John 3:15 - Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.:16 - By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

Now, you say unto me that he did such and such...I say truly to thee, that thou art called upon to do as Yahshua did!

<BroDavid> Let us not try to preserve ourselves. Rather, preserve our brother.

Matthew 16:25 - For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

So be it, ahmeyn!
