The following are some scriptures that show Yahweh's teaching on what is an abomination First, we see that to eat unclean animals is an abomination to him
Leviticus 11:10-12 - And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you: - They shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcases in abomination. - Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you. To eat shellfish for instance is an abomination..

Leviticus 11:2 - Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth.
Leviticus 11:20 - All fowls that creep, going upon all four, shall be an abomination unto you.
Leviticus 11:41 - And every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth shall be an abomination; it shall not be eaten.
Leviticus 11:42 - Whatsoever goeth upon the belly, and whatsoever goeth upon all four, or whatsoever hath more feet among all creeping things that creep upon the earth, them ye shall not eat; for they are an abomination.
Now the following scriptures are from a different Hebrew word:
08441 tow`ebah {to-ay-baw'} or to`ebah {to-ay-baw'} act part of 08581; TWOT - 2530a; n f AV - abomination 113, abominable thing 2, abominable 2; 117
1) a disgusting thing, abomination, abominable
1a) in ritual sense (of unclean food, idols, mixed marriages)
1b) in ethical sense (of wickedness etc)
Here they are
Leviticus 20:13 - If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
Looks like the USA to me.. (babylon)?
Leviticus 18:22 - Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.:23 - Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion.:24 - Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you::25 - And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.

See it is among the abominations
Leviticus 18:27 - (For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;)
Here is a scripture showing why the observance of Christmas is an abomination:
Deuteronomy 12:29 - When YAHWEH thy Elohim shall cut off the nations from before thee, whither thou goest to possess them, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in their land :30 - Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their elohim, saying, How did these nations serve their elohim? even so will I do likewise. :31 - Thou shalt not do so unto YAHWEH thy Elohim: for every abomination to YAHWEH, which he hateth, have they done unto their elohim; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their elohim.
Don't worship Yahweh with a pagan tradition! Don't take a pagan custom and apply it to the worship of Yahweh!
Deuteronomy 12:32 - What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.
And don't add to His word, see?

(btw, public praise done to Yahweh to magnify Him is plenty tov/good :)
Deuteronomy 17:3 - And hath gone and served other elohim, and worshipped them, either the sun, or moon, or any of the host of heaven, which I have not commanded; :4 - And it be told thee, and thou hast heard of it, and enquired diligently, and, behold, it be true, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought in Israel:
Any kind of idolatry is an abomination to Him
Deuteronomy 17:5 - Then shalt thou bring forth that man or that woman, which have committed that wicked thing, unto thy gates, even that man or that woman, and shalt stone them with stones, till they die.
Here are yet more abominations..
Deuteronomy 18:9 - When thou art come into the land which YAHWEH thy Elohim giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations. :10 - There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch. :11 - Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. :12 - For all that do these things are an abomination unto YAHWEH: and because of these abominations YAHWEH thy Elohim doth drive them out from before thee.
Notice that Saul the King died soon after trying to consult Samuel thru a medium..
Deuteronomy 22:5 - The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto YAHWEH thy Elohim.
Is this not what we see today? more abominations..
Deuteronomy 23:18 - Thou shalt not bring the hire of a whore, or the price of a dog, into the house of YAHWEH thy Elohim for any vow: for even both these are abomination unto YAHWEH thy Elohim.
Yahweh doesn't want money acquired thru sin in His tithe is how I interpret this.. more abominations..
Deuteronomy 24:1 - When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house.
By the way, that word "uncleanness" here is the same word translated "Nakedness" when the torah speaks of incest- ie sexual sin. So I think Yahshua wasn't bringing up anything not already established
Deuteronomy 24:2 - And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man's wife. :3 - And if the latter husband hate her, and write her a bill of divorcement, and giveth it in her hand, and sendeth her out of his house; or if the latter husband die, which took her to be his wife; :4 - Her former husband, which sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, after that she is defiled; for that is abomination before YAHWEH: and thou shalt not cause the land to sin, which YAHWEH thy Elohim giveth thee for an inheritance.
Remarrying a wife you have divorced after she married another then is also an abomination
Deuteronomy 25:15 - But thou shalt have a perfect and just weight, a perfect and just measure shalt thou have: that thy days may be lengthened in the land which YAHWEH thy Elohim giveth thee.
Cheating others out of money is an abomination...(Especially if that person is poor!) The scams we see today...nothing new under the sun
Proverbs 11:20 - They that are of a froward heart are abomination to YAHWEH: but such as are upright in their way are his delight.
froward/perverse or unruly. Now here is an interesting verse:
Proverbs 6:16 - These six things doth YAHWEH hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: :17 - A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
It is written that the whole reason Yahweh kicked Judah out of the land was because they had shed innocent blood Thru manassah who offered children in the fire to molechIn this nation...TRULY the spirit of Molech is in HIGH GEAR (Abortions)
Proverbs 6:18 - An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, :19 - A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

Proverbs 15:26 - The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to YAHWEH: but the words of the pure are pleasant words.
Proverbs 17:15 - He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to YAHWEH.
Reminds me of the lawyers who defend the ones they know are guilty
Proverbs 21:26 - The sacrifice of the wicked is abomination: how much more, when he bringeth it with a wicked mind?
Yahweh can not endure a sinner making a sacrifice unto Him..it is vain For instance..
Isaiah 1:11 - To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith YAHWEH: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats. :12 - When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts? :13 - Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.
Why? Because they did these things while living a life of sin!What purpose is sacrifice? Is obedience not better than to sacrifice?
1Samuel 15:22 - And Samuel said, Hath YAHWEH as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of YAHWEH? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.
This was Samuel speaking to Saul when Yahweh rejected him. More abominations..
Isaiah 66:17 - They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith YAHWEH.
This scripture is actually speaking of a future time if you examine the context
Ezekiel 8:5 - Then said he unto me, Son of man, lift up thine eyes now the way toward the north. So I lifted up mine eyes the way toward the north, and behold northward at the gate of the altar this image of jealousy in the entry. :6 - He said furthermore unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do? even the great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? but turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations.
Here is where Yahweh showed Ezekiel the many abominations of Judah
Ezekiel 8:7 - And he brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, behold a hole in the wall. :8 - Then said he unto me, Son of man, dig now in the wall: and when I had digged in the wall, behold a door.:9 - And he said unto me, Go in, and behold the wicked abominations that they do here. :10 - So I went in and saw; and behold every form of creeping things, and abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, pourtrayed upon the wall round about.:11 - And there stood before them seventy men of the ancients of the house of Israel, and in the midst of them stood Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan, with every man his censer in his hand; and a thick cloud of incense went up. :12 - Then said he unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, YAHWEH seeth us not; YAHWEH hath forsaken the earth.
What fools they were! We ought to be fools also if we do not realize that every work we do is not written down
Ezek 8:13 - He said also unto me, Turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations that they do.
Greater abominations? Yes Some say that all sin is equal.. that no sin is worse than another.. but not so according to Yahweh
Ezekiel 8:14 - Then he brought me to the door of the gate of YAHWEH's house which was toward the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz.
There is a month that the Jews named Tammuz in Babylon. Tammuz is the false Messiah
Ezekiel 8:15 - Then said he unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations than these. :16 - And he brought me into the inner court of YAHWEH's house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of YAHWEH, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of YAHWEH, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.
There is alot of sun worship in modern day religion, even including modern day Christianity..these things they inherited from the traditions of the 'church fathers' But that is another study :)
Ezekiel 8:17 - Then he said unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke me to anger: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose.
Ezekiel 8:18 - Therefore will I also deal in fury: mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: and though they cry in mine ears with a loud voice, yet will I not hear them.

<EliYah> hang on..According to NIV: It was a ceremonial gesture in nature worship...not documented anywhere else in scripture
Ezekiel 43:8 - In their setting of their threshold by my thresholds, and their post by my posts, and the wall between me and them, they have even defiled my holy name by their abominations that they have committed: wherefore I have consumed them in mine anger.
Beware of defiling Yahweh's great name by committing these abominations. Now here is a really interesting verse:
Proverbs 28:9 - He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination. What more could I add to that?
