Matthew 23:39 - For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of YHWH.

Do we understand the importance of being Trustworthy…..?

Loyal..........?

Faithful.......?

Trusting..............?

Do we understand the importance of a faithful servant?

Do we undertand the importance of properly placed trust?

Is being trustworthy something easy to do?

Is trusting - something easy to do?

2Samuel 22:1 - And David spake unto YHWH the words of this song in the day that YHWH had delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul:

2Samuel 22:2 - And he said, YHWH is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;

2Samuel 22:3 - The Elohim of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence.

2Samuel 22:4 - I will call on YHWH, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.

Psalm 2:12 - Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

commentary: In the N.T., "faith" and "believe" are words which express the same characteristic as the Hebrew expression here (and in Ruth 2:12) rendered "trust." It occurs 152 times in the O.T., variously translated (Ps 22:8; 56:3), or (Job 35:14).

Psalm 4:4 - Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.

Psalm 4:5 - Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in YHWH.

2Samuel 22:31 - As for El, his way is perfect; the word of YHWH is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him.

2Samuel 22:32 - For who is El, save YHWH? and who is a rock, save our Elohim?

2Samuel 22:33 - El is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect.

Psalm 56:3 - What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.

Psalm 56:4 - In Elohim I will praise his word, in Elohim I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.

Psalm 28:7 - YHWH is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

Psalm 28:8 - YHWH is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed.

2Kings 18:1 - Now it came to pass in the third year of Hoshea son of Elah king of Israel, that Hezekiah the son of Ahaz king of Judah began to reign.

2Kings 18:2 - Twenty and five years old was he when he began to reign; and he reigned twenty and nine years in Jerusalem. His mother's name also was Abi, the daughter of Zachariah.

2Kings 18:3 - And he did that which was right in the sight of YHWH, according to all that David his father did.

2Kings 18:4 - He removed the high places, and brake the images, and cut down the groves, and brake in pieces the brasen serpent that Moses had made: for unto those days the children of Israel did burn incense to it: and he called it Nehushtan.

2Kings 18:5 - He trusted in YHWH Elohim of Israel; so that after him was none like him among all the kings of Judah, nor any that were before him.

2Kings 18:6 - For he clave to YHWH, and departed not from following him, but kept his commandments, which YHWH commanded Moses.

Psalm 5:8 - Lead me, O YHWH, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face.

Psalm 5:9 - For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.

Psalm 5:10 - Destroy thou them, O Elohim; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee.

Psalm 5:11 - But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.

Psalm 5:12 - For thou, YHWH, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

Trust, with freedom to rejoice and have joy.

Psalm 33:20 - Our soul waiteth for YHWH: he is our help and our shield.

Psalm 33:21 - For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.

Psalm 9:9 - YHWH also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.

Psalm 9:10 - And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, YHWH, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

Psalm 7:1 - O YHWH my Elohim, in thee do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me:

Psalm 34:16 - The face of YHWH is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

Psalm 34:17 - The righteous cry, and YHWH heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.

Psalm 34:15 - The eyes of YHWH are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.

Psalm 13:5 - But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.

Psalm 13:6 - I will sing unto YHWH, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.

for His mercy endures forever

Psalm 71:1 - In thee, O YHWH, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion.

YAHWEH loved David

and he loved Davids attitude.

Isaiah 26:3 - Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

Isaiah 26:4 - Trust ye in YAHWEH for ever: for in YAH YAHWEH is everlasting strength:

Psalm 37:3 - Trust in YHWH, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.

Psalm 37:4 - Delight thyself also in YHWH; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

Psalm 37:5 - Commit thy way unto YHWH; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

If we put our trust in proper perspective we will avoid being offended, IF we truly mean it when we say:

In YAHWEH do I trust- he is my refuge and deliverer !

We SHOULD NOT feel betrayed - if we apply this to our lives.

We have been warned.

Isaiah 30:2 - That walk to go down into Egypt, and have not asked at my mouth; to strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, and to trust in the shadow of Egypt!

Isaiah 30:3 - Therefore shall the strength of Pharaoh be your shame, and the trust in the shadow of Egypt your confusion.

Isaiah 31:1 - Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek YHWH!

Psalm 20:7 - Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of YHWH our Elohim.

Psalm 20:8 - They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.

Psalm 44:6 - For I will not trust in my bow, neither shall my sword save me.

Psalm 49:6 - They that trust in their wealth, and boast themselves in the multitude of their riches;

Psalm 49:7 - None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to Elohim a ransom for him:

Psalm 49:8 - (For the redemption of their soul is precious, and it ceaseth for ever:)

Psalm 40:4 - Blessed is that man that maketh YHWH his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

Proverbs 11:28 - He that trusteth in his riches shall fall: but the righteous shall flourish as a branch.

Proverbs 28:25 - He that is of a proud heart stirreth up strife: but he that putteth his trust in YHWH shall be made fat.

Proverbs 28:26 - He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.

Proverbs 3:5 - Trust in YHWH with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Jeremiah 17:9 - The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

Jeremiah 17:10 - I YHWH search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.

We must not trust in things that give not the Praise and honor to YAHWEH

Psalm 37:7 - Rest in YHWH, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

Psalm 37:8 - Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.

Psalm 37:9 - For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon YHWH, they shall inherit the earth.

Psalm 37:10 - For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.

Psalm 37:11 - But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

Psalm 56:5 - Every day they wrest my words: all their thoughts are against me for evil.

Hebrews 12:14 - Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see YAHWEH:

Hebrews 12:15 - looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the favor of YAHWEH; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled;

Job 15:31 - Let not him that is deceived trust in vanity: for vanity shall be his recompence.

Psalm 78:19 - Yea, they spake against Elohim; they said, Can El furnish a table in the wilderness?

Psalm 78:20 - Behold, he smote the rock, that the waters gushed out, and the streams overflowed; can he give bread also? can he provide flesh for his people?

Psalm 78:21 - Therefore YHWH heard this, and was wroth: so a fire was kindled against Jacob, and anger also came up against Israel;

Psalm 78:22 - Because they believed not in Elohim, and trusted not in his salvation:

Nahum 1:7 - YHWH is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.

Psalm 34:22 - YHWH redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.

Zephaniah 3:12 - I will also leave in the midst of thee an afflicted and poor people, and they shall trust in the name of YHWH.

Zephaniah 3:13 - The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.

YAHWEH bless you as you seek His will.
