Tonight I would like to cover a very very important subject
A serious study of scripture will reveal that 2000 years of tradition and teaching of men has produced the age of "Churchianity" we are in today
And for nearly 2000 years, mainstream christianity has taught that the Torah/law of Yahweh has been abolished.
One might wonder what might have started such a teaching
Some have thought that it started in the 2nd century, or 3rd
But according to scripture, Paul had predicted apostasy would come immediately
In a conversation with the elders at Ephesus, Paul says:
Acts 20:25 - And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of YAHWEH, shall see my face no more.
Acts 20:26 - Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.
Acts 20:27 - For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of YAHWEH.
Acts 20:28 - Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Spirit hath made you overseers, to feed the assembly of Elohim, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
Acts 20:29 - For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
Acts 20:30 - Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.
A significant thing indeed.. Paul did not cease to warn them for 3 years that it was going to happen after his departing
Acts 20:31 - Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.
With tears, day and night!
What was about to take place?
He made sure that everyone knew that he was pure from the blood of all men
And Paul also told them that he did not fail to declare to them the FULL COUNSEL of Yahweh
Most of mainstream churches only want to share one portion of the counsel of Yahweh.. that being the section of books that they have divided for themselves called "The New Testament
As one Torah observant teacher noted, the one page that sets up a modern day wall of partition between Jew and Gentile is the uninspired page called "The New Testament"
Ironically, Paul's writings are the writings most commonly used to teach that only part of Yahweh's counsel is valid today. In spite of Paul's declaration the he did declare all the counsel of Yahweh, some say that he taught that part of Yahweh's counsel was done away with
But as we will see tonight, this is not the fault of Paul. For Paul had a reason to make that statement that he was pure from the blood of all men
He probably knew that his writings would be twisted
So we see that Paul did not cease to warn the Ephesians. Another warning is found in the writings of Kepha/Peter:
In context, we find Kepha/Peter warning the reader to be diligent in pursuing righteousness and to be without spot and blameless:
2Peter 3:13 - Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.
2Peter 3:14 - Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless;
So we are to be found by Him in peace, and without spot and blameless.
Sadly, if you really seek to be without spot and blameless in this age, you are branded a "Judaizer" or a "Legalist"
But we must remember that in the coming age, "righteousness" will dwell there. Therefore, we must seek righteousness diligently and be found without spot and blameless
But with this admonition, Kepha also counseled to remember that is through what Yahushua the Messiah has done that we receive salvation in the first place
2Peter 3:15 - and consider that the longsuffering of our Master is salvation--as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you,
Interesting that he relates this to what Paul has often written
"even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you"
Paul's writings are full of wisdom in this matter of what Yahushua has done and how it relates to us.
Over and over again, Paul defends the work of Yahushua the Messiah as being our only hope and our only true source of being justified or being declared righteous.
So while we do seek to be without spot and blameless, we must also account that it is not our own righteousness that saves us, but the longsuffering of Yahushua that saves us.
However, when Paul makes those statements that we are saved only through Yahushua, Paul is often misunderstood and Kepha/Peter knew that well
2Peter 3:16 - as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures.
"these things"
What things are hard to understand?
Kepha is referring to Paul's teaching regarding "The longsuffering of our our Master is salvation"
This is so true and many agree that this wisdom that Yahweh gave Paul is often hard to understand
So as a result of them being hard to understand... According to Kepha (Peter), His writings can easily be twisted/wrested/turned around/perverted/distorted by those who are "unlearned and unstable".
Let's look at the verse again
2Peter 3:16 - as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures.
Now some believe that this is referring to people like myself who believe that although Salvation can only be attained by the righteousness of Yahushua the Messiah, we should still be obedient and live a life of Torah/Law observance
Could it indeed be referring to those who believe in keeping Yahweh's law while accounting that Yahushua's longsuffering is our salvation?
They say it is we who are doing the twisting/wresting/turning around/distorting
But upon examining this verse, there are at least 3 reasons why this cannot be so:
1. This scripture says it is 'those who are unlearned' who twist Paul's words. Are Torah observers the unlearned? Let's see what Paul himself would say:
Romans 2:17 - Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of Elohim,
Romans 2:18 - And knowest his will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law;
So those who are learned, knowing His will, are instructed out of the Torah/law. Interestingly, it is the modern day mainstream teachers who tell you to stick with reading the New Testament rather than the Torah or Old Testament.
And if you bring a scripture out of the "Old Testament" to prove a point, they often dismiss it by saying "Well, that's just the Old Testament"
But there was no "New Testament" in those days as we have it today
Thus, the learning Peter/Kepha was speaking of had to be from the Torah, Prophets and Writings (Old Testament).
So a good recommendation would be for a person to not be "unlearned" when reading Paul's writings. In other words, one should know the Torah before reading them. In fact, Paul often quotes from the "Old Testament" to prove his points
Reason #2..
2. Peter interprets his own words by saying "Ye also" in the remaining verses:
2Peter 3:16 - as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures.
2Peter 3:17 - You therefore, beloved, since you know this beforehand, beware lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the error of the wicked;
"Ye also" or "you also" implies that the result of the twisting is one being led away in the error of the "wicked".
In other words, don't be like those who twist the scriptures, being led away with the error of the wicked
The word translated "Wicked" here is "athesmos". The definition of "athesmos" according to the Thayer's lexicon is as follows...
113 athesmos {ath'-es-mos} from 1 (as a negative particle) and a derivative of 5087 (in the sense of enacting); TDNT - 1:167,25; adj AV - wicked 2; 2
1) one who breaks through the restraint of law and gratifies his lusts
So apparently the "error" and the result of the twisting/wresting/turning around/distorting is one who breaks through the restraint of law, not one who seeks to keep the law
So those who are twisting Paul's writings are those who are seeking to break through the restraint of law
Reason #3
3. The offenders are twisting/wresting/turning around/distorting to their "own destruction" according to the verse. It isn't the commandment keepers that will be destroyed, it is the commandment breakers.
Where does Yahweh ever say He will throw the commandment keepers into the lake of fire?
Remember, Kepha said:
2Peter 3:13 - Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.
In the context of these verses, Kepha/Peter is saying that only righteousness dwells in the new heavens and new earth. Is it the commandment keepers or commandment breakers that are found there?
Revelation 22:14 - Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.
Revelation 22:15 - But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.
You see, man is being taught a huge lie today. We are just trying to do what Kepha/Peter said: be found by Him without spot and blameless, but some want to do away with Yahweh's commands... and use the twisting of Paul's writings to do it!
But Paul is pure from the blood of all men. He did not fail to declare the full counsel of Yahweh, old and new
Paul never intended to teach against the keeping of Yahweh's law, for Paul himself believed in keeping the Law:
Acts 25:8 - While he answered for himself, Neither against the law of the Jews, neither against the temple, nor yet against Caesar, have I offended any thing at all.
Acts 18:21 - But bade them farewell, saying, I must by all means keep this feast that cometh in Jerusalem: but I will return again unto you, if YAHWEH will. And he sailed from Ephesus.
Romans 7:25 - Thanks be to YAHWEH through Yahushua the Messiah our Saviour. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of YAHWEH; but with the flesh the law of sin.
In fact, Paul says that the doers of the Law will be justified and those who break it will be judged
Romans 2:12 - For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;
Romans 2:13 - (For not the hearers of the law are just before YAHWEH, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
The word that is translated "without Law" here is word #460 which means "not amenable to the Jewish/Mosaic Law". (See Thayers and/or Strong's Greek lexicon)
Again, Paul says that we know His will and approve the things that are excellent when instructed out of the law:
Romans 2:18 - And knowest his will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law;
Romans 2:19 - And art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness,
Romans 2:20 - An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law.
Continuing here, he says that when we break the Law, we dishonor Yahweh and blaspheme His name:
Romans 2:21 - Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?
Romans 2:22 - Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege?
Romans 2:23 - Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou YAHWEH?
Romans 2:24 - For the name of YAHWEH is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.
Therefore, breaking the law of Yahweh dishonors Him and Yahweh's name is blasphemed among the world when we break it.
But today if you keep it you are blasphemed among those who claim to believe in Yahushua.
How the enemy has "twisted" things around!
Such twisting we were warned about, brethren.
Here Paul twice states that we learn what sin is from the Law:
Romans 3:20 - Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
Romans 7:7 - What shall we say then? Is the law sin? By no means!! Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.
This is in agreement with the statement in 1John 3:4 that Sin is transgression of the Law:
1John 3:4 - Whoever commits sin trangresses also the law, for sin is the transgression of the law.
So here we have at least 3 verses in the so-called "New testament" that clearly declares an awesome truth to us
Sin = Breaking Yahweh's law!
Therefore, whenever Paul or any writer refers to "Sin", it is the breaking of Yahweh's law they are referring to. For Sin IS transgression of the law, by the law is the knowledge of sin and we know what sin is "By the law!"
Therefore the law of Yahweh IS the standard of righteousness for all mankind to follow.
And he isn't just talking about the 10 commandments. For otherwise, homosexuality and incest would not even be considered a sin. Neither homosexuality or incest are forbidden in the 10 commandments
Now here is a key scripture proving that Paul believed that thru faith we do not make the Law void, but rather we establish the Law:
Romans 3:31 - Do we then make void the law through faith? By no means! Yea, we establish the law.
In the Greek, "To establish" means "To cause or make to stand" (#2476).
Do we "cause the law to stand" by our faith or do we tear it down?
Here is another key scripture like the one above proving that Paul did not believe that once we are under grace, that we can continue to sin (break the Law)
Romans 6:15 - What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under favor? By no means!!
Romans 6:16 - Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
It is the commandment/law breakers who are under bondage
Whose servant do we want to be?
Romans 7:12 - Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.
Do we want to also be holy, just and good? Then we ought to seek obedience to the "law" and the "commandment"
It is still the standard of righteousness, the right way of life.. whether we are justified by it or not
It still defines what sin is, teaches us how to love Yahweh...and one another
Don't let people tell you that the Law is "of the flesh" and not "of the spirit".
Romans 7:14 - For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.
The law is spiritual, not carnal. It is we that are carnal
We were the problem, not Yahweh's law! Yahweh didn't make a mistake when He gave us instruction & commands
Yahweh isn't a "Jekyll & Hide" Elohim. Some think Yahweh was mean in the Old Testament but then repented and became kind in New Testament
But there isn't this... Old Testament in one corner and New Testament in the other doing battle. Yahweh isn't mixed up or confused, nor does He contradict Himself.
Yahweh doesn't change, and Yahushua is the same yesterday, today and forever (no matter how many times people keep trying to change His name!)
We should delight in the law of Yahweh. Paul does!
Romans 7:22 - For I delight in the law of YAHWEH after the inward man:
Do we delight in His law? We should!
Now let's move on to where Paul uses the term "Lawlessness" or "Iniquity"
The word that is translated "Lawlessness" or "Iniquity" in the following verses is the greek word "anomia" which carries the following definition:
BDB/Thayers # 458 458 anomia {an-om-ee'-ah} from 459; TDNT - 4:1085,646; n f AV - iniquity 12, unrighteousness 1, transgress the law + 4060 1,
transgression of the law 1; 15
1) the condition of without law
1a) because ignorant of it
1b) because of violating it
2) contempt and violation of law, iniquity, wickedness
Now for a second witness here is the definition of this in the Strong's Hebrew Lexicon:
458. anomia, an-om-ee'-ah; from 459; illegality, i.e. violation of the law or (gen.) wickedness: --- iniquity X transgress (ion of) the law, unrighteousness
Very important. This greek word means "Illegality, violation of the law." This is a very interesting word, used all throughout scripture
In light of the scriptures we are about to examine, we should be more concerned if we are an illegalist than a legalist
Now note that both lexicons it states that both of these words come from the greek word #459.
This means that the root word of of "anomia" (#458) is #459, "anomos".
This word (#459) means "To be destitute or in violation of the Mosaic or Jewish Law" (See Thayer's and Strong's Lexicons).
Now, this word #458 (anomia) is translated "transgression of the Law" in the King James version of 1john 3:4
1John 3:4 - Whoever commits sin trangresses also the law, for sin is the transgression of the law.
This was written by John but it is surely showing that this word is a definition of sin. Sin IS anomia (condition of being without the Law or violation of the Law, transgression of the Law)
The reason why knowing the real definition is so important is because the words "Anomia" and "Anomos" are disguised in many translations.
For example:
Romans 6:19 - I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.
Anomia, meaining "Illegality, violation of the law" is translated "iniquity" in this verse. The rather benign word "Iniquity" is far less descriptive than "Violation of the Law", yes?
Here again..
2Corinthians 6:14 - Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness?
2Corinthians 6:15 - Or what harmony has the Messiah with Belial, or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever?
Here it is translated "Lawlessness".. a little more honest.
How about "Torahlessness!?" :)
Let's look at another..
Romans 4:7 - Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.
Sin is indeed Anomia/Anomos
The poetic repeat demonstrates that
In this next verse, obedience placed on equal par with righteousness (as defined by the Law)
Romans 10:5 - For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.
Now it is true that we have not done them and we do need redemption in Yahushua. But that does not take away the fact that those who do them are walking in righteousness
This next scripture is where Paul states that ALL SCRIPTURE (which must include the Law of Yahweh because there was no written "new testament" at that time) is given by Yahweh, profitable for doctrine, for reproof and "instruction in righteousness":
2Timothy 3:16 - All scripture is given by inspiration of YAHWEH, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2Timothy 3:17 - That the man of YAHWEH may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
So ALL scripture (including the Torah) is...
1. Doctrine! Profitable for doctrine
2. Reproof! Profitable for Reproof
3. Profitable for Instruction is righteousness
(in righteousness)
So why is it.. when you quote the law of Yahweh to most people, they say "Oh well that's just the Old Testament"
Is it profitable for doctrine, reproof and instruction in righteousness or not!?
Surely Paul did not lie
He spoke the truth. All scripture is profitable for doctrine, for reproof and instruction in righteousness
2Timothy 3:18 -
2Timothy 3:17 - That the man of YAHWEH may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
Therefore, there should be very little doubt that according to these verses in which Paul spoke, he certainly upheld the Law as the very definition of righteousness and holiness. There was no "new testament" scripture at the time Paul wrote this letter to Timothy
Paul taught that breaking these commandments is Unrighteousness, Lawlessness, wickedness, and most importantly, SIN.
Therefore we can conclude that whenever Paul speaks of Sin..he most certainly is talking about disobeying the commandments in the Law
How many more scriptures could be added where Paul speaks against sin? We might be here all night going through all of them!
You see, in Paul's day Torah obedience was expected and widely understood to be something all believers in Yahweh should aspire to. In Paul's day. In truth, it simply went without saying.
But lest there still be some here that think breaking the Torah is acceptable, let's read where Paul says that refusing to subject ourselves to Yahweh's Torah is the way of death:
Please read carefully:
Romans 8:6 - For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
There are 2 minds being described here.
1. The carnal mind which leads to death
2. The Spiritual mind which is life and peace
What are the attributes of one having a carnal mind and what are the attributes of one having a spiritual mind?
Let's read the next verse and find out:
Romans 8:7 - Because the carnal mind is enmity against YAHWEH: for it is not subject to the law of YAHWEH, neither indeed can be.
Why is the carnal mind enmity with Yahweh? Because it isn't subject to Yahweh's Torah/Law!
Modern day teachers are basically teaching poor Christians to be at enmity against Yahweh because they say you need not be subject to His Law!
But we should pursue LIFE (eternal) and PEACE (with Yahweh) by being spiritually minded... subject to His Torah/Law.
Isn't that what Kepha/Peter encouraged us to do?
2Peter 3:14 - Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless;
Therefore, let us be spiritually minded and place ourselves in subjection to His law
Romans 8:7 - Because the carnal mind is enmity against YAHWEH: for it is not subject to the law of YAHWEH, neither indeed can be.
Yet, it must be done out of love for Yahweh, else we aren't really keeping the law at all!
Deuteronomy 6:5 - And thou shalt love YAHWEH thy Elohim with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
Now, with love for Yahweh and for our fellow man in mind, let's place ourselves in subjection to His word, which is not a burden but rather, a blessing because it is His will for our lives..and we love to do His will and do what pleases Him
1John 5:3 - For this is the love of YAHWEH, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.
Yahushua said:
John 8:29 - And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.
Yahushua always did those things that pleased Yahweh. If we walk as He walked, we can be sure that we truly know Yahweh.
1John 2:3 - Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments.
1John 2:4 - He who says, "I know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
Let's not be liars, and let's not love a lie or make a lie. Let us neither turn Paul into a liar
1John 2:5 - But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of YAHWEH is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.
1John 2:6 - He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.
We know He walked in the Torah, keeping it perfectly. He was "without spot"
1John 3:18 - My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.
1John 3:19 - And by this we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him.
1John 3:20 - For if our heart condemns us, YAHWEH is greater than our heart, and knows all things.
1John 3:21 - Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward YAHWEH.
1John 3:22 - And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.
1John 3:23 - And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Yahushua the Messiah and love one another, as He gave us commandment.
1John 3:24 - Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.
HalleluYah, we can have the blessed assurance that we are His.. if we believe on the name of His Son.. loving Him and keeping His commandments
1John 3:10 - In this the children of YAHWEH and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of YAHWEH, nor is he who does not love his brother.
Friends, Brethren and sisters in Yahweh... How will the world know we are His?
John 13:35 - By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
And how do we know we love one another?
1John 5:2 - By this we know that we love the children of YAHWEH, when we love YAHWEH and keep His commandments.
1John 5:3 - For this is the love of YAHWEH, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.
How much plainer could it be?
You see, all the apostles were teaching just what Yahushua said to teach
Luke 24:46 - And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved the Messiah to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:
Luke 24:47 - And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
Not only was remission of sins preached.. but also REPENTANCE
Turn away from breaking the Torah/law.. and toward keeping it
Yes, we are saved only through Yahushua. But it is those who truly from the heart.. turn away from sin/law-breaking/unrighteousness that Yahweh is willing to save and place the precious blood of His Son upon
We aren't supposed to be insulting the spirit of grace!
But sadly..
This is an unknown message to this generation.
The things I speak to you tonight are not popular
But what is popular is not always right, and what is right is not always popular
Our Fathers have inherited many lies... and though we sound the trumpet, few will hear
Jeremiah 6:16 - Thus saith YAHWEH, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.
Jeremiah 6:17 - Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken.
Jeremiah 6:18 - Therefore hear, ye nations, and know, O congregation, what is among them.
Jeremiah 6:19 - Hear, O earth: behold, I will bring evil upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not hearkened unto my words, nor to my law, but rejected it.
Let's not reject His law, let's embrace it as the standard of righteousness
You see, Satan is the father of lies and he wants to trick you into thinking you don't have to keep what Yahweh commands.
This is part of the "Strong delusion" sent by Yahweh to those who do not love the truth, but have pleasure in their commandment breaking/unrighteousness
2Thessalonians 2:11 - And for this cause YAHWEH shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2Thessalonians 2:12 - That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
Let's flee from this delusion! Let's cease from taking any pleasure at all in unrighteousness! Let's believe the truth! His word, His law is truth!
John 17:17 - Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
His Word Is Truth!
And Yahushua IS the Word
and therefore.. is truth!
But how can we love Yahushua if we don't love the Torah, which is part of the Word?
John 14:6 - Yahushua saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
But if we love Yahushua, we will love the Torah also for He is the Torah made flesh
Yahushua did not sin (transgress the law), He kept the law perfectly:
Hebrews 4:15 - For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.
Therefore, if we die with Him, He lives in us. Only then we too can be declared righteous. Only then can we have forgiveness and thus, salvation.
Galatians 2:20 - "I have been impaled with the Messiah; it is no longer I who live, but the Messiah lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of YAHWEH, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
So is Yahushua in you or not?
If He is, He will keep that Torah in You. And it will reflect on the outer layer as well
We only can be justified in the sight of Yahweh through Yahushua the Messiah. He alone is our salvation
But let us demonstrate that this has indeed taken place by conforming ourselves to His image and seeking His will and light and applying it to our lives.
Let's allow Him to live in us by letting Yahushua keep the commandments IN US that He kept while on the earth
Yahushua told us ahead of time:
Matthew 5:17 - Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
Don't even think it!
Matthew 5:18 - For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Not all has been fulfilled, there is much more to come! Yahushua will return and set up His kingdom of righteousness on earth where the law will be kept and sin will be punished.
Micah 4:2 - And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of YAHWEH, and to the house of the Elohim of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of YAHWEH from Jerusalem.
Micah 4:3 - And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more
Please tell me, if we are to be rulers in this age.. how can we be a ruler if we teach others it is okay to break the rules of the kingdom?
After all, the law will go forth from Zion and we will walk therein!
So Yahushua says.. (continuing)
Matthew 5:19 - Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
"Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments" What are 'THESE least commandments' from?
From the law that Yahushua was talking about! The same law He said he didn't come to destroy. So plain! So clear!
Therefore, let's press on to be called great and blessed of Yahweh in the kingdom of heaven
And as the Body that submits to the Head, Yahushua... let's take this message to all nations and expose the grand deception. Not all will hear, but Yahushua said we should be doing this!
Matthew 28:19 - Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit:
Matthew 28:20 - Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the age.
Let's teach them to do the things Yahushua commanded...He is the Word and what He (the Word) spoke 3000 years ago at Sinai is just as much HIS WILL as what He (the WORD) spoke 2000 years ago at the Sermon on the Mount.
For then we will be disciples (taught ones!)
Brethren, I have never seen nor heard of such an opportunity since the 1st century
Along with the thousands of Jews that are starting to accept Yahushua the Messiah, there are thousands upon thousands of Christians are seeking to know about the hebraic roots of their faith and they are finding that the torah is for today!
They are finding that they have inherited lies and many of the things they have been taught ... are false!
While the field is ripe and there is a shortage of laborers, let's seek to be His laborers. Let's teach all nations to observe the commandments as Yahushua said. Let's live our lives like Yahushua lived His...
in perfection
Psalms 19:7 - The law of YAHWEH is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of YAHWEH is sure, making wise the simple.
Psalms 19:8 - The statutes of YAHWEH are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of YAHWEH is pure, enlightening the eyes.
Psalms 19:9 - The fear of YAHWEH is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of YAHWEH are true and righteous altogether.
Psalms 19:10 - More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
Psalms 19:11 - Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.
Yahweh promises a reward and I believe it.
May Yahweh bless you and may He have mercy on us all!
