BrClif - Our Father in Heaven, YHWH... May Your Name be Sanctified!
BrClif - May Your Kingdom come to this earth, so that your will will be done here, just as it is in heaven.
BrClif - Thank you for giving us the bread that we needed to today
BrClif - And forgive us, as we forgive those who sin against us.
BrClif - Please do not lead us into the paths of temptation, but please deliver us from the Wicked One.
BrClif - Please inspire us by your Ruach as we learn, share, and discuss your Word, your Truth, your Kingdom, and your Son.
BrClif - Please let this time build us up.
YermeYah - HalleluYAH!!
BrClif - And please let this be a light to the goyim.
BrClif - Help us to speak the truth in love.
BrClif - And help others to love the truth.

EliYah - Welcome everyone to the first Sabbath Service...BrClif suggested that we begin holding these last week and I thought it was a great idea
EliYah - I think that we should let this be an open forum. Anyone who wants to share something may
EliYah - Anyone who has a question please feel free
EliYah - I have something to share with you all..
EliYah - Some of you know what I am about to share but some of you may not
EliYah - I am going to share with you what I believe that The Heavenly Father has shown me to be very very important
EliYah - +Prov 30:4
`Watchman - Proverbs 30:4 - Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell?
EliYah - I think that this asks a very important question
EliYah - All throughout scripture, names are lifted up as having importance
EliYah - They had meanings
EliYah - And those who named things had authority over what was being named...
EliYah - For instance
EliYah - Adam named the animals
EliYah - And His wife
EliYah - Our Father renamed Abram
EliYah - And the Savior renamed Simon
EliYah - The Savior was given a name by the Heavenly Father through an angel
EliYah - to Mary
EliYah - The Heavenly Father named Himself
EliYah - I believe that the name he gave Himself is pronounced YAHWEH
EliYah - But MEN have attempted to rename Him!
EliYah - Particularly in our translated scriptures...
EliYah - When we see "The Lord" in the Old Testament, the Hebrew reads YAHWEH
EliYah - But because of tradition, this has come about..
EliYah - not by divine commandment..
EliYah - not because of language differences
BrClif - What is the commandment?

EliYah - Rather, the commandment tells us not to take His name in vain
EliYah - Vain carries a meaning of uselessness and falsehood
EliYah - in fact..
EliYah - The same Hebrew word that is translated "Vain" in De. 5 as part of the Ten Commandments
EliYah - Is translated "False" in the commandment "Do not bear 'False' witness"
EliYah - So I believe that what has happened is wrong
EliYah - Where it all began was when some Jews began to hold the belief that His name is too awesome to be pronounced
EliYah - There is a way that seems right to a man...
EliYah - but its end thereof is death
EliYah - They began to replace His name with "Adonai" which in English means Lord
EliYah - And they forbade speaking His name. The only person permitted speaking His name was the High Priest on the Day of Atonement
YermeYah They also worshipped Baal
EliYah - when he entered the Holy of Holies
EliYah - yes, it seems no coincidence..
EliYah - That the word "Baal" also means Lord
EliYah - Hence, EliYah - the prophet said to the people "How long will you differ between 2 opinions?"
EliYah - "If Lord (Baal) be Elohim (the Mighty One) follow Him, but if YAHWEH, follow Him"
EliYah - What do the scriptures have to say about the name of our Creator and its importance to Him?
EliYah - +micah 4 5
`Watchman - Micah 4:5 - For all people will walk every one in the name of his elohim, and we will walk in the name of YAHWEH our Elohim for ever and ever.
EliYah - We are to walk in the name of YAHWEH
EliYah - Not in another name
EliYah - Again, "The Lord" is NOT a translation
EliYah - It is a substitution
EliYah - A replacement of men

EliYah - It possibly carries a meaning of "I am that I am" or "I will be what I will be"
EliYah - I believe that we should call on His name
EliYah - +joel 2 32
`Watchman - Joel 2:32 - And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of YAHWEH shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as YAHWEH hath said, and in the remnant whom YAHWEH shall call.

EliYah - The scriptures say what they say
EliYah - "whosoever shall call on the name of YAHWEH shall be delivered"
EliYah - It is not "the Lord" or any other substitution
EliYah - It must be important for us to know and use
EliYah - Yahweh has commanded us to call on His name
EliYah - It is His memorial
EliYah - +ex 3 15
`Watchman - Exodus 3:15 - And Elohim said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, YAHWEH Elohim of your fathers, the Elohim of Abraham, the Elohim of Isaac, and the Elohim of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.
EliYah - It is His 'memorial unto all generations.'
EliYah - Think about this...
EliYah - Man has set up many memorials for himself. What if someone had gone up and desecrated one of those memorials?
EliYah - Yahweh has set up His memorial to ALL Generations
EliYah - It is His name forever
EliYah - Why should man have the right to say His name is something that it is not?
EliYah - Some may ask..."Why has Yahweh allowed His name to be hidden?
EliYah - I believe that it is one of many truths that Yahweh has hidden
EliYah - +prov 25 2
EliYah - Proverbs 25:2 - It is the glory of Elohim to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.
EliYah - The scriptures have much to say concerning the importance of our Heavenly Fathers name..

`Watchman - Psalms 105:1 - O give thanks unto YAHWEH; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.
EliYah - +ps 116 13
`Watchman - Psalms 116:13 - I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of YAHWEH.
EliYah - +ps 116 17
`Watchman - Psalms 116:17 - I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of YAHWEH.
EliYah - +is 12 4
`Watchman - Isaiah 12:4 - And in that day shall ye say, Praise YAHWEH, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.
EliYah - And here is an interesting scripture...
EliYah - It speaks of the end times...
EliYah - It tells of His people calling on His name...
EliYah - +zech 13 9
`Watchman - Zechariah 13:9 - And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, YAHWEH is my Elohim
EliYah - All throught the scriptres we are told not to Hide His name...but rather to PROCLAIM it!

`Watchman - Psalms 34:3 - O magnify YAHWEH with me, and let us exalt his name together.
EliYah - +ps 148 13
`Watchman - Psalms 148:13 - Let them praise the name of YAHWEH: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.
EliYah - +ps 44 8
`Watchman - Psalms 44:8 - In Elohim we boast all the day long, and praise thy name for ever. Selah.
EliYah - +rev 14 1
`Watchman - Revelations 14:1 - Then I looked, and behold, a Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred [and] forty-four thousand, having His Father's name written on their foreheads.
EliYah - What name is this?
EliYah - We must know
EliYah - If we are His people...
EliYah - It is truth that...
EliYah - In the scriptures we are told to praise, exalt, bless, love, teach, preach, anoint, assemble, believe, give thanks, honor and call on His name.
