John 6:53 - Then Yahushua said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

John 6:54 - Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

John 6:55 - For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.

John 6:56 - He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.

John 6:57 - As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.

John 6:58 - This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.

John 6:59 - These things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum.

John 6:60 - Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?

John 6:61 - When Yahushua knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you?

John 6:62 - What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?

John 6:63 - It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

John 6:64 - But there are some of you that believe not. For Yahushua knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.

John 6:65 - And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.

John 6:66 - From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.

John 6:67 - Then said Yahushua unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?

John 6:68 - Then Simon Kepha answered him, Rabbi, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.

To whom shall we go?

We see in this passage that many of those who walked with Yahushua were offended at His teaching and walked with him no more

Because many didn't seek to understand, many didn't believe

Many walked away from him because they didn't care to understand

We see similar things today.

Some don't want to walk with Him when they see the hard saying

So they fall away, or follow another Yahushua

Molding their own Messiah rather than the Messiah of Yahweh

But the remnant, the disciples believed and Kepha declared in faith, "thou hast the words of eternal life"

They believed in the word of Yahweh

And rather than questioning it, they sought the understanding and found it

Kepha knew that Yahushua had the words of eternal life..as He had said

John 6:69 - And we believe and are sure that thou art the Messiah, the Son of the living Elohim.

John 6:70 - Yahushua answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?

John 6:71 - He spake of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve.

Is all of His word our food, or just a part?

Do we set aside the food that we think isn't so tasty?

Do we say, "That's just the Old Testament?"

Do we say, "That's just Paul's writings?"

Or do we say, "Feed me with the fullness of Your Bread Abba Yahweh!?"

Consider in our own lives

If we believe in Messiah, do we believe that Yahweh being with us is sufficient?

Do we need more?

Are we spending all our time seeking other things to fulfill the things only He can fulfill?

Though we understand not all His ways, do we fail to ever seek His ways?

Psalms 17:14 - From men which are thy hand, O YAHWEH, from men of the world, which have their portion in this life, and whose belly thou fillest with thy hid treasure: they are full of children, and leave the rest of their substance to their babes.

Psalms 17:15 - As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.

1John 2:15 - Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

1John 2:16 - For all that is in the world--the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life--is not of the Father but is of the world.

1John 2:17 - And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of YAHWEH abides forever.

The empty space is empty no more

Many try to fill the void with money, their spouse, drugs, wine, women, song and acceptance by men. But none of these things will fill it.

Only Yahweh is eternal and only He is big enough to fill the void into all eternity

When He is fully in us, we have no desire to lust after the pleasures of the flesh. We seek fully His righteousness

Matthew 6:33 - But seek ye first the kingdom of YAHWEH, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Matthew 5:6 - Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Philippians 3:7 - But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for the Messiah.

Philippians 3:8 - Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of the Messiah Yahushua my Master: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win the Messiah,

There simply is nothing to compare to Yahweh.

Psalms 89:6 - For who in the heaven can be compared unto YAHWEH? who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto YAHWEH?

...or week at work..

wherever we are...

...let's think back to these scriptures and realize that all these things are temporary and that in the end their importance in comparison to Yahweh is nothing

If we were to compare.. our time in this life to the time in the coming age.. it would be a mere speck in the universe

Let us not live for the speck, but for Yahweh El Shaddai

The wise will see it

The wise will know, these things are nothing worth hanging onto

These things will all pass away

Matthew 24:35 - Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

1Peter 1:24 - because "All flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, and its flower falls away,

1Peter 1:25 - But the word of YAHWEH endures forever." Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you.

James 4:13 - Come now, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit";

James 4:14 - whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.

Yes, the troubles will come

But in the troubles..to whom shall we go?

Psalms 73:24 - Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.

Psalms 73:25 - Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.

Psalms 73:26 - My flesh and my heart faileth: but Elohim is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.

But in seeking wisdom and truth and direction, to whom shall we go?

James 1:5 - If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of YAHWEH, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

Today, we live in an age of opportunity

We are in an age of opportunity to gain understanding of Yahweh through His word

We can search the scriptures with a few simple keystrokes

His word is easy to acquire, and found in abundance

So my brethren, now is the time to seek and be given wisdom and fed by Spiritual food

Now is the time to store up His word into the treasuries of our heart

No my brethren, now is not the time to fill our minds with the world's garbage

Now is the time to seek Yahweh

Before the famine comes.. for the night may come when no man can open the scriptures except from what He hid in his heart during the times of plenty

We should be preparing ourselves

Preparing ourselves for persecution

Therefore, let's take hold!

Lest we be found wasting our time in things that profit not

For time spent in things that are not eternal, what shall they profit us?

The world seeks their own, but we must seek Yahweh in all things.

Philippians 2:12 - Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Philippians 2:13 - For it is YAHWEH which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

Will we try to make it by ourselves?

Will we be obedient by our own power and strength?

If we need strength to overcome, we should know.. to whom we can go.

Indeed so many trials I have endured have taught me not to rely on myself but to give it ALL to Him. To put Him first

This is what He loves to do, what an awesome Elohim! His glory in our weaknesses

We all have sinned, then to whom shall we go?

We can go to the King

Jeremiah 23:5 - Behold, the days come, saith YAHWEH, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.

Jeremiah 23:6 - In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, YAHWEH OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

He has made a way for us to be forgiven for our sins. It is the way Yahweh has chosen to save those who seek repentance

So let's consider the things that Yahweh has done!

We must remove all obstacles from our lives

The obstacle to truth is so often MAN.

When a truth is shared, the first question often asked is "What about so and so..they never did that, are they lost?"

Such a person often will never accept the truth, based on the fact that these others whom they love..have not. This is placing man before Yahweh.

But we should put no other elohim before Him

Our relationship with Yahweh is personal. We should question things in light of scripture rather than in light of what others do.

They won't be consulted on judgment day

It's us.. and Yahweh

Yahweh desires that we seek Him with a whole heart

Jeremiah 29:13 - And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

Not so, it is a daily decision. Everyday we choose who we will serve...whether we will sin or not.

Whether we will serve Yahweh or serve ourselves in sin .

Matthew 24:13 - But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Pleasure for a time?

Answers for a time?

These things are not eternal

But what Yahweh gives, He gives for eternity

His law, His commandments, His promises, His salvation...yes, all these things He is given us...Forever!

Psalms 119:160 - Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.

They do not understand that the word in Hebrew "Torah" (translated law) means "instruction, teaching"

Would Yahweh teach us an imperfect way to walk?

Brethren, it is man that is imperfect.. not His teaching

His commandments aren't multiple choice

Psalms 19:7 - The law of YAHWEH is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of YAHWEH is sure, making wise the simple.

Psalms 19:8 - The statutes of YAHWEH are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of YAHWEH is pure, enlightening the eyes.

Psalms 19:9 - The fear of YAHWEH is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of YAHWEH are true and righteous altogether.

Psalms 19:10 - More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

Psalms 19:11 - Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.

They wondered, "who can know it?", therefore they did not believe

Must we also understand everything before we will believe?

Or will we believe, and then be given understanding?

Will we hold onto the hand that does not change?

Or will we hang onto the world that ever-changes'?

Whom do we trust for salvation?

Will it be in the traditions that we have inherited?

Will it be in the commandments and doctrines of men that do not profit??

Mark 7:7 - Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctines the commandments of men.

Christmas, Easter, Sunday sabbaths, false names, false baptisms, false traditions that we have assumed to be right in the past have deceived us :(

Oh yes, we wish to say that we have departed from errors in tradition... but have we?

We associate certain things in scripture a certain way because it is the way that others around us have done it

Indeed, I learn this lesson often. We must beware of the false prophets, brethren. Beware of false traditions!

We must hear the Voice of the Shepherd

John 10:27 - My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

John 10:28 - And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

John 10:29 - My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

Beware of false prophets

Beware lest we be found in the hands of the wolf!

Or the hands of Babylon the great!

There is no better place than in Yahweh's hands..Seeking His will.

Let's hear the voice of the Shepherd ... calling for His sheep. He is the Word, the Torah.. do we follow in His footsteps, walking in Torah as He walked?

Does He know you?

Matthew 7:23 - And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Matthew 7:24 - Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

He calls to us

Do we recognize and receive His voice, and follow it?

Or do we hear it and question it?

Or do we hear it... and ignore it?

Let's be found in Good Hands

A place of rest.

A place of peace..

of security

and light and truth and life

Tonight I want to invite anyone who is 'sitting on the fence' between serving Yahweh and not serving Him to consider these words.

And tonight I want to invite anyone who is 'sitting on the fence' between serving Yahweh with truth or doctrines of men to consider these words

Isaiah 55:6 - Seek ye YAHWEH while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:

Isaiah 55:7 - Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto YAHWEH, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our Elohim, for he will abundantly pardon.

His Word.. the words of eternal life

Ecclesiastes 12:1 - Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;

Ecclesiastes 12:2 - While the sun, or the light, or the moon, or the stars, be not darkened, nor the clouds return after the rain:

Ecclesiastes 12:3 - In the day when the keepers of the house shall tremble, and the strong men shall bow themselves, and the grinders cease because they are few, and those that look out of the windows be darkened,

Ecclesiastes 12:4 - And the doors shall be shut in the streets, when the sound of the grinding is low, and he shall rise up at the voice of the bird, and all the daughters of musick shall be brought low;

Ecclesiastes 12:5 - Also when they shall be afraid of that which is high, and fears shall be in the way, and the almond tree shall flourish, and the grasshopper shall be a burden, and desire shall fail: because man goeth to his long home, and the mourners go about the streets:

Ecclesiastes 12:6 - Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern.

Ecclesiastes 12:7 - Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto Elohim who gave it.

Ecclesiastes 12:8 - Vanity of vanities, saith the preacher; all is vanity.

Seek not vanity, seek Yahweh

Of wisdom, Yahweh has said:

Proverbs 8:17 - I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.

Let's seek Him together, shall we?

Let's seek Yahweh in ALL things

To whom shall we go?

Tonight I ask, "To whom will you go?"

Go to life

Go to truth !

Go to Yahweh !

in ALL things

May Yahweh bless you and may He have mercy on us all!
