BrBob - Praise Yahweh!

EliYah - HalleluYah!

EliYah - Shalom my brothers and sisters.

EliYah - I would like to start by asking a question. How many days pass by before we stop to consider how blessed we are to be children of Yahweh?

EliYah - How often do we, His people, stop and realize what Yahweh has done for us?

EliYah - This past week we celebrated the anniversary of the death of our Savior Yahshua the Messiah. Why did our Savior come to this world?

EliYah - Why did He have to die?

EliYah - Why??

EliYah - Because of what we have done. We have failed Yahweh miserably.

EliYah - Yahweh loves us. He did send His Son to die so that we would have life.

EliYah - Do we realize what Yahshua had to endure for us?

EliYah - It is not easy for us to imagine as we sit here in our comfortable chairs in nice warm homes tonite.

EliYah - But I would like to take you on a tour to show exactly what He did endure.

EliYah - Perhaps through this, we will all..including myself..have a better appreciation for the incredible blessing that has been bestowed upon us.

EliYah - We will start with Yahshua in the garden of gethsemene.

EliYah - We will start with Yahshua in the garden of gethsemene.

EliYah - Yahshua and his disciples had just finished supper and informed his disciples that they would all utterly forsake him, and even Kepha (Peter) would deny Him. Now they went outside to pray:

EliYah - Matthew 26:36 - Then cometh Yahushua with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder.

EliYah - Matthew 26:37 - And he took with him Kepha and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy.

EliYah - Matthew 26:38 - Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me.

EliYah - Yahshua, our King, at this time had a heart full of sorrow, even unto death

EliYah - He knew exactly what was coming. He knew what He was about to endure.

EliYah - It would have been better if He did not know.

EliYah - Think of a time of when you burnt yourself on something. It was a surprise, a shock.

EliYah - Now imagine what it would be like if someone took a hot iron and slowly approached you with it. You knew that it was Yahweh's will for you to stand there and take it.

EliYah - It is much different when you know what is coming. Perhaps this will give us a better idea of what Yahshua endured.

EliYah - So yes, his soul was full of sorrow..almost to death. The weight of the woe was crushing His life out of Him.

EliYah - He asked his disciples to stay there and watch with him.

EliYah - Matthew 26:39 - And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.

EliYah - He asked His Father to let this pass from Him, but He knew what the Father's will was. What love He has for Yahweh and what love He has for us!

EliYah - Truly, the ultimate example...

EliYah - Matthew 26:40 - And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Kepha, What, could ye not watch with me one hour?

EliYah - Matthew 26:41 - Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

EliYah - He had wished His disciples would be near Him at this hour, but they were sleeping. His only comfort had to come from Yahweh alone

EliYah - The disciples did not pray that they would not enter into temptation. Perhaps this is why they fell away, over a few minutes of sleep!!

EliYah - Matthew 26:42 - He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done.

EliYah - Matthew 26:43 - And he came and found them asleep again: for their eyes were heavy.

EliYah - Matthew 26:44 - And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words.

EliYah - Matthew 26:45 - Then cometh he to his disciples, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

EliYah - Yes, three times this was done and three times he found that He was without help.

EliYah - During this time, Luke records that His sweat began to fall like drops of blood on the ground:

EliYah - Luke 22:44 - And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.

EliYah - While doing some research on this, I came across some information from Dr. C. Truman Davis, a physician who analyzed what Yahshua had to endure physically, for us.

EliYah - I will be refering to his work from time to time during the rest of this study.

EliYah - Concerning the sweat as 'drops of blood', this speaks of a rare condition known as hematidrosis, or bloody sweat.

EliYah - Under great emotional stress, tiny capillaries in the sweat glands can break, thus mixing blood with sweat.

EliYah - This process alone could have produced marked weakness and possible shock.

EliYah - After Yahshua had prayed, the betrayer came with his army:

EliYah - John 18:3 - Judas then, having received a band of men and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, cometh thither with lanterns and torches and weapons.

EliYah - John 18:4 - Yahushua therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek ye?

EliYah - John 18:5 - They answered him, Yahushua of Nazareth. Yahushua saith unto them, I am he. And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them.

EliYah - The word "he" is added in this scripture

EliYah - He actually said "I AM"

EliYah - John 18:6 - As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground.

EliYah - How could they not realize who He was? All Yahshua had to do was speak and they fell flat on their backs!

EliYah - Just like in the day of Israel in the wilderness..

EliYah - Miracles seen create short lasting faith

EliYah - John 18:7 - Then asked he them again, Whom seek ye? And they said, Yahushua of Nazareth.

EliYah - John 18:8 - Yahushua answered, I have told you that I am he: if therefore ye seek me, let these go their way:

EliYah - John 18:9 - That the saying might be fulfilled, which he spake, Of them which thou gavest me have I lost none.

EliYah - John 18:10 - Then Simon Kepha having a sword drew it, and smote the high priest's servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant's name was Malchus.

EliYah - John 18:11 - Then said Yahushua unto Kepha, Put up thy sword into the sheath: the cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it?

EliYah - He had the temptation here to send bands of angels to protect Him

EliYah - But He withstood this FOR US

EliYah - Luke records Yahshua even healing this man:

EliYah - Luke 22:51 - And Yahushua answered and said, Suffer ye thus far. And he touched his ear, and healed him.

EliYah - Now when Yahshua was brought before the sanhedrin, a soldier struck Yahshua across the face when questioned by Caiaphas.

EliYah - John 18:19 - The high priest then asked Yahushua of his disciples, and of his doctrine.

EliYah - John 18:20 - Yahushua answered him, I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing.

EliYah - John 18:21 - Why askest thou me? ask them which heard me, what I have said unto them: behold, they know what I said.

EliYah - John 18:22 - And when he had thus spoken, one of the officers which stood by struck Yahushua with the palm of his hand, saying, Answerest thou the high priest so?

EliYah - This marked the beginning of the physical suffering of our Messiah

EliYah - John 18:23 - Yahushua answered him, If I have spoken evil, bear witness of the evil: but if well, why smitest thou me?

EliYah - Matthew 26:56 - But all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples forsook him, and fled.

EliYah - Matthew 26:59 - Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Yahushua , to put him to death;

EliYah - Matthew 26:60 - But found none: yea, though many false witnesses came, yet found they none. At the last came two false witnesses,

EliYah - Matthew 26:61 - And said, This fellow said, I am able to destroy the temple of Elohim, and to build it in three days.

EliYah - Matthew 26:62 - And the high priest arose, and said unto him, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee?

EliYah - Matthew 26:63 - But Yahushua held his peace. And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living Elohim, that thou tell us whether thou be the Messiah, the Son of the Almighty.

EliYah - Matthew 26:64 - Yahushua saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

EliYah - I believe that Yahshua originally spoke the name of Yahweh in this verse.

EliYah - "The Power" was sometimes used as a substitution for Yahweh's name. This is furthur proved by what the High Priest said:

EliYah - Matthew 26:65 - Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses? behold, now ye have heard his blasphemy.

EliYah - Matthew 26:66 - What think ye? They answered and said, He is guilty of death.

EliYah - In those days, a man could not be convicted of blasphemy unless He had actually spoken the name of Yahweh

EliYah - So here is our Savior being persecuted and put to death for Yahweh's name:

EliYah - Matthew 26:67 - Then did they spit in his face, and buffeted him; and others smote him with the palms of their hands,

EliYah - I believe Yahshua knew full well who it was that struck Him..

EliYah - But He held His tongue

EliYah - He was like a lamb led to the slaughter, He opened not His mouth.

EliYah - The next morning, battered and bruised, dehydrated, and worn out from a sleepless night, Yahshua was taken across Jerusalem to the Praetorium of the Fortress Antonia, the seat of government of the Procurator of Judea, Pontius Pilate.

EliYah - Matthew 27:11 - And Yahushua stood before the governor: and the governor asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And Yahushua said unto him, Thou sayest.

EliYah - Matthew 27:12 - And when he was accused of the chief priests and elders, he answered nothing.

EliYah - Matthew 27:13 - Then said Pilate unto him, Hearest thou not how many things they witness against thee?

EliYah - Matthew 27:14 - And he answered him to never a word; insomuch that the governor marvelled greatly.

EliYah - Luke 23:4 - Then said Pilate to the chief priests and to the people, I find no fault in this man.

EliYah - Luke 23:5 - And they were the more fierce, saying, He stirreth up the people, teaching throughout all Jewry, beginning from Galilee to this place.

EliYah - Luke 23:6 - When Pilate heard of Galilee, he asked whether the man were a Galilaean.

EliYah - Luke 23:7 - And as soon as he knew that he belonged unto Herod's jurisdiction, he sent him to Herod, who himself also was at Jerusalem at that time.

EliYah - Luke 23:8 - And when Herod saw Yahushua, he was exceeding glad: for he was desirous to see him of a long season, because he had heard many things of him; and he hoped to have seen some miracle done by him.

EliYah - Luke 23:9 - Then he questioned with him in many words; but he answered him nothing.

EliYah - Luke 23:10 - And the chief priests and scribes stood and vehemently accused him.

EliYah - Luke 23:11 - And Herod with his men of war set him at nought, and mocked him, and arrayed him in a gorgeous robe, and sent him again to Pilate.

EliYah - Luke 23:12 - And the same day Pilate and Herod were made friends together: for before they were at enmity between themselves.

EliYah - Continuing in Matthew:

EliYah - Matthew 27:15 - Now at that feast the governor was wont to release unto the people a prisoner, whom they would.

EliYah - Matthew 27:16 - And they had then a notable prisoner, called Barabbas.

EliYah - Matthew 27:17 - Therefore when they were gathered together, Pilate said unto them, Whom will ye that I release unto you? Barabbas, or Yahushua which is called the Messiah?

EliYah - Matthew 27:18 - For he knew that for envy they had delivered him.

EliYah - Matthew 27:19 - When he was set down on the judgment seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, Have thou nothing to do with that just man: for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him.

EliYah - Matthew 27:20 - But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitude that they should ask Barabbas, and destroy Yahushua .

EliYah - Matthew 27:21 - The governor answered and said unto them, Whether of the twain will ye that I release unto you? They said, Barabbas.

EliYah - Matthew 27:22 - Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Yahushua which is called the Messiah? They all say unto him, Let him be crucified.

EliYah - Matthew 27:23 - And the governor said, Why, what evil hath he done? But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified.

EliYah - Matthew 27:24 - When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it.

EliYah - Of all the crowd...only pilate could see the truth here!

EliYah - Matthew 27:25 - Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.

EliYah - What a statement!

EliYah - Is this why the majority of Jews reject their Messiah to this day?

EliYah - At any rate, He officially was sentenced to death. But first, He must be 'scourged'.

EliYah - Matthew 27:26 - Then released he Barabbas unto them: and when he had scourged Yahushua , he delivered him to be crucified.

EliYah - During a Roman scourging, the prisoner had His hands tied to a post above His head.

EliYah - The Roman legionnaire stepped forward with the flagrum, or flagellum, in his hand.

EliYah - This was a short whip consisting of several heavy, leather thongs with two small balls of lead attached near the ends of each.

EliYah - The heavy whip was brought down with full force again and again across Yahshua's shoulders, back, and legs.

EliYah - At first the weighted thongs cut through the skin only.

EliYah - Then, as the blows continued, they cut deeper into the subcutaneous tissues, producing first an oozing of blood from the capillaries and veins of the skin and finally spurting arterial bleeding from vessels in the underlying muscles.

EliYah - The small balls of lead first produced large deep bruises that were broken open by subsequent blows.

EliYah - Finally, the skin of the back was hanging in long ribbons, and the entire area was an unrecognizable mass of torn, bleeding tissue. When it was determined by the centurion in charge that the prisoner was near death, the beating was finally stopped.

EliYah - After considering all that was done to Him, again one would have to ask..WHY??

EliYah - Isaiah 53:5 - But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

EliYah - So that we could have eternal life

EliYah - Imagine your own son or daughter undergoing this as we read, for this is how our Father in heaven must have felt.

EliYah - We are so unworthy!!

EliYah - And this is why HE IS WORTHY!

EliYah - The half-fainting Yahshua was then untied and allowed to slump to the stone pavement, wet with his own blood. The Roman soldiers saw a great joke in this provincial Jew claiming to be a king.

EliYah - They threw a robe across His shoulders and placed a stick in His hand for a scepter.

EliYah - Matthew 27:27 - Then the soldiers of the governor took Yahushua into the common hall, and gathered unto him the whole band of soldiers.

EliYah - Matthew 27:28 - And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe.

EliYah - Matthew 27:29 - And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!

EliYah - They still needed a crown to make their travesty complete. Small flexible branches covered with long thorns, commonly used for kindling fires in the charcoal braziers in the courtyard, were plaited into the shape of a crude crown.

EliYah - The crown was pressed into his scalp and again there was copious bleeding as the thorns pierced the very vascular tissue.

EliYah - After mocking Him and striking Him across the face, the soldiers took the stick from His hand, spit on him and struck Him across the head, driving the thorns deeper into His scalp.

EliYah - This is Yahshua, the King over all heaven and earth!!!

EliYah - Matthew 27:30 - And they spit upon him, and took the reed, and smote him on the head.

EliYah - Matthew 27:31 - And after that they had mocked him, they took the robe off from him, and put his own raiment on him, and led him away to crucify him.

EliYah - Finally, they tired of their sadistic sport and tore the robe from His back.

EliYah - The robe had already become adherent to the clots of blood and serum in the wounds, and its removal, just as in the careless removal of a surgical bandage, caused excruciating pain.

EliYah - The wounds again began to bleed.

EliYah - John 19:16 - Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be crucified. And they took Yahushua, and led him away.

EliYah - John 19:17 - And he bearing his stake went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha:

EliYah - In spite of Yahshua's efforts to walk erect, the weight of the heavy wooden beam, together with the shock produced by copious

EliYah - loss of blood, was too much. He stumbled and fell.

EliYah - The rough wood of the beam gouged into the lacerated skin and muscles of the shoulders. He tried to rise, but human muscles had been pushed beyond their endurance.

EliYah - The centurion, anxious to proceed with the crucifixion, selected a stalwart North African onlooker, Simon of Cyrene, to carry the beam.

EliYah - Matthew 27:32 - And as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name: him they compelled to bear his cross.

EliYah - Matthew 27:33 - And when they were come unto a place called Golgotha, that is to say, a place of a skull,

EliYah - Yahshua followed, still bleeding and sweating the cold, clammy sweat of shock. The 650-yard journey from the Fortress Antonia to Golgotha was finally completed.

EliYah - Matthew 27:34 - They gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when he had tasted thereof, he would not drink.

EliYah - Matthew 27:35 - And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots.

EliYah - Yahshua was again stripped of His clothing except for a loin cloth which was apparently allowed the Jews. Simon was ordered to place the patibulum on the ground, and Yahshua was quickly thrown backward, with His wounded back and shoulders against the wood.

EliYah - The legionnaire felt for the depression at the front of the wrist. He drove a heavy, square wrought-iron nail through the wrists and deep into the wood.

EliYah - The patibulum was then lifted into place at the top of the beam reading "Yahshua of Nazareth, King of the Jews" was nailed into place.

EliYah - The left foot was pressed backward against the right foot. With both feet extended, toes down, a nail was driven through the arch of each, leaving the knees moderately flexed.

EliYah - Imagine this for a moment!?? How quick we are to get offended from the slightest bit of disrespect from a brother while here is Yahshua undergoing excruciating pain for all mankind and He says "Father, forgive them for they do not know what they do."

EliYah - The second - to the penitent thief: "Thou shalt be with me in Paradise."

EliYah - The third - looking down at Mary His mother, He said: "Woman, behold your son." Then turning to the terrified, grief-stricken

EliYah - adolescent John , the beloved apostle, He said: "Behold your mother."

EliYah - The fourth cry was:

EliYah - Matthew 27:45 - Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour.

EliYah - Matthew 27:46 - And about the ninth hour Yahushua cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My El, my El, why hast thou forsaken me?

EliYah - Matthew 27:47 - Some of them that stood there, when they heard that, said, This man calleth for EliYah.

EliYah - Some thought that as He said "Eli, Eli" He was calling for EliYah. But now we know that He was quoting the first verse of Psalms 22

EliYah - Psalms 22:1 - My El, my El, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?

EliYah - Yahshua...even in His suffering still quoted scripture

EliYah - And this psalm is remarkable

EliYah - I encourage everyone to read it after the message tonite

Peace9 - shhh...

EliYah - Perhaps we will quote it

EliYah - Matthew 27:39 - And they that passed by reviled him, wagging their heads,

EliYah - Matthew 27:40 - And saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of Elohim, come down from the cross.

EliYah - Psalms 22:8 - He trusted on YAHWEH that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.

EliYah - Matthew 27:41 - Likewise also the chief priests mocking him, with the scribes and elders, said,

EliYah - Matthew 27:42 - He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him.

EliYah - Matthew 27:43 - He trusted in Elohim; let him deliver him now, if he will have him: for he said, I am the Son of Elohim.

EliYah - He had to have been tempted to respond with fury

EliYah - But He opened not His mouth to them

EliYah - Yahshua our Savior suffered 6 hours of limitless pain, cycles of twisting, joint-rending cramps, intermittent partial asphyxiation, and searing pain as tissue was torn from His lacerated back from His movement up and down against the rough timbers of the cross.

EliYah - Then another

EliYah - agony began: a deep crushing pain in the chest as the pericardium, the sac surrounding the heart, slowly filled with serum and

EliYah - began to compress the heart. It is here when the prophecy in Psalm 22:14 was being fulfilled:

EliYah - Psalms 22:14 - I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.

EliYah - The end was rapidly approaching. The loss of tissue fluids had reached a critical level; the compressed heart was struggling to

EliYah - pump heavy, thick, sluggish blood to the tissues, and the tortured lungs were making a frantic effort to inhale small gulps of air.

EliYah - The markedly dehydrated tissues sent their flood of stimuli to the brain. Jesus gasped His fifth cry: "I thirst." Again we read in the prophetic psalm:

EliYah - Psalms 22:15 - My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.

EliYah - A sponge soaked in posca, the cheap, sour wine that was the staple drink of the Roman legionnaires, was lifted to Yahshua's lips. His body was now in extremis, and He could feel the chill of death creeping through His tissues.

EliYah - This realization brought forth His sixth word, possibly little more than a tortured whisper: "It is finished." His mission of atonement had been completed.

EliYah - Finally, He could allow His body to die. With one last surge of strength, He once again pressed His torn feet against the nail, straightened His legs, took a deeper breath, and uttered His seventh and last cry:

EliYah - Matthew 23:36 - Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.

EliYah - Luke 23:36 - And the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him, and offering him vinegar,

EliYah - Luke 23:46 - And when Yahushua had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the Spirit.

EliYah - Here...at the hour of the Passover lambs being kille

EliYah - Our Savior died

EliYah - For us

EliYah - Matthew 27:51 - And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;

EliYah - Matthew 27:52 - And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,

EliYah - Matthew 27:53 - And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

EliYah - Matthew 27:54 - Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Yahushua , saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of the Almighty.

EliYah - The common method of ending a crucifixion was by crurifracture, the breaking of the bones of the leg.

EliYah - This prevented the victim from pushing himself upward; the tension could not be relieved from the muscles of the chest, and rapid suffocation occurred.

EliYah - The legs of the two thieves were broken, but when the soldiers approached Yahshua, they saw that this was unnecessary.

EliYah - John 19:32 - Then came the soldiers, and brake the legs of the first, and of the other which was crucified with him.

EliYah - John 19:33 - But when they came to Yahushua, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs:

EliYah - John 19:34 - But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.

EliYah - John 19:35 - And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe.

EliYah - John 19:36 - For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken.

EliYah - John 19:37 - And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him whom they pierced.

EliYah - Apparently, to make doubly sure of death, the legionnaire drove his lance between the ribs, upward through the pericardium and into the heart. Thus there was an escape of watery fluid from the sac surrounding the heart and the blood of the interior of the heart.

EliYah - This is rather conclusive post-mortem evidence that Yahshua died, not the usual crucifixion death by suffocation, but of heart failure due to shock and constriction of the heart by fluid in the pericardium.

EliYah - Though our Messiah was greater than all, He humbled himself to the point of death, enduring the beatings, the spittings, the mockery, the false accusations and finally the ultimate price...being hanged on a tree.

EliYah - That is the key..His humility in the face of men and of Yahweh

EliYah - The ultimate example of humility shown for us

EliYah - He was considered smitten and accursed of Yahweh:

EliYah - Isaiah 53:4 - Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of Elohim, and afflicted.

EliYah - Isaiah 53:5 - But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

EliYah - Isaiah 53:6 - All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and YAHWEH hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

EliYah - Tonite, lets examine our lives!

EliYah - We need to ask Yahweh to reveal all of our sins to us and repent of them!

EliYah - We know that Yahshua committed His way to the Father. How can we be more like Him? What sins must we shed in this coming year?

EliYah - These are the questions we need to consider on this time of year. For Yahshua's blood cleanses us from all sin:

EliYah - 1John 1:7 - But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Yahushua the Messiah His Son cleanses us from all sin.

EliYah - 1John 1:8 - If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

EliYah - 1John 1:9 - If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

EliYah - 1John 1:10 - If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.

EliYah - Let's purge out all sin and false doctrine, let's come out of babylon!!!

EliYah - 1Corinthians 5:7 - Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even the Messiah our passover is sacrificed for us:

EliYah - 1Corinthians 5:8 - Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

EliYah - Let's make our calling sure and bear fruits worthy of repentance!

EliYah - 2Peter 1:2 - Favor and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of YAHWEH and of Yahushua our Master,

EliYah - 2Peter 1:3 - as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and reverence, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue,

EliYah - 2Peter 1:4 - by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

EliYah - 2Peter 1:5 - But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge,

EliYah - 2Peter 1:6 - to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance reverence,

EliYah - 2Peter 1:7 - in reverence brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love.

EliYah - 2Peter 1:8 - For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Master Yahushua the Messiah.

EliYah - 2Peter 1:9 - For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins.

EliYah - 2Peter 1:10 - Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble;

EliYah - Let's be sure we do not forget that we are cleansed by the blood of the lamb!

EliYah - Hebrews 12:1 - Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares [us], and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,

EliYah - Hebrews 12:2 - looking unto Yahushua, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of YAHWEH.

EliYah - As well as we remember the death of our Master Yahshua tonite, let us also remember that He not only died...

EliYah - But He ROSE AGAIN!

EliYah - 1Corinthians 15:20 - But now is the Messiah risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.

EliYah - 1Corinthians 15:21 - For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.

EliYah - 1Corinthians 15:22 - For as in Adam all die, even so in the Messiah shall all be made alive.

EliYah - 1Corinthians 15:23 - But every man in his own order: the Messiah the firstfruits; afterward they that are the Messiah's at his coming.

EliYah - Knowing that Yahshua rose again, we have such a hope also. We can reign with Yahshua the Messiah!

EliYah - Romans 5:1 - Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with YAHWEH through our Saviour Yahushua the Messiah:

EliYah - Romans 5:2 - By whom also we have access by faith into this favor wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of YAHWEH.

EliYah - Romans 5:3 - And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;

EliYah - Romans 5:4 - And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

EliYah - Romans 5:5 - And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of YAHWEH is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit which is given unto us.

EliYah - Romans 5:6 - For when we were yet without strength, in due time the Messiah died for the unrighteous.

EliYah - Romans 5:7 - For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.

EliYah - Romans 5:8 - But YAHWEH commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, the Messiah died for us.

EliYah - So in spite of our sins, in spite of our filthiness..

EliYah - Yahweh, the Creator of all things, the source of all life and Spirit was willing to let Yahshua die for us so that we could be with Him forever and ever.

EliYah - Yahweh has demonstrated His love toward us, let's demonstrate our love toward Him!! !!!!!

EliYah - Let's tell all the world about the One we serve and how He loves them too.

EliYah - If we must seek the highways and biways, this we must do for this is Yahshua's request of those who have accepted Him..to go and make disciples of all the nations.

EliYah - Let them not be converts...but disciples! There are plenty of 'converts' out there, many claiming Him. Let's show the world who He is by our own example.

EliYah - If He is living in us, He will obey the commandments in us just as He did when He walked the earth for that is His love, to please the Father. Let's go and do likewise! We just might be the only scriptures that some ever read.

EliYah - Revelations 22:20 - He who testifies to these things says, "Surely I am coming quickly." So be it. Even so, come, Master Yahushua!

EliYah - Come, Master Yahushua!!!!!

EliYah - And may Yahweh bless each and every one of you!
