Tonight I would like to speak about the doctrine of the 'rapture'
Rapture or Great tribulation?
There is a lot of talk these days about the "elect" being caught up
in the air, as spoken of in the 1st book of Thessalonians.......
Tonight I would like to go over some of the Scriptures that made
it very clear to me when this will take place......
and what we must do to prepare for this time so we will not be
ashamed at His return.
1Thessalonians 4:16 - For Yahushua himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of YHWH: and the dead in the Messiah shall rise first:
1Thessalonians 4:17 - Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Master in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Master.So shall we ever be with the Master Yahushua,...........
Does this mean that we will be in the clouds with Him forever???
It does not say that..... It says that we will ever be "with Him".
Where will He be?
Acts 1:9 - And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
Acts 1:10 - And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
Acts 1:11 - Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Yahushua, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.In like manner as you have seen Him go into heaven......
If He "ascended" into heaven then He will very obviously
"descend" from heaven to the earth......and more specifically on
the mount of olives.......
Zechariah 14:3 - Then shall YHWH go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
Zechariah 14:4 - And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
Zechariah 14:5 - And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and YHWH my Elohim shall come, and all the saints with thee.HalleluYAH!!!
How many times will He return.....

May sound a bit silly, but those who teach the rapture before the tribulation often speak of how all of a sudden millions of people will "VANISH", just before the tribulation, from off the face of the earth!.....
They say that is the first time He will return, and we won't see Him the first time He returns.....

The Scriptures are very clear that He will return once......
1Corinthians 15:22 - For as in Adam all die, even so in the Messiah shall all be made alive.
1Corinthians 15:23 - But every man in his own order: the Messiah the firstfruits; afterward they that are the Messiah's at his coming.HIS "COMING"...... singular not plural.
When the Scriptures talk about Him "appearing", they are speaking of His coming!
1John 2:28 - And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.
Matthew 24:30 - And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.It is clear that when He appears He will be coming to administer judgement, and this honour have all His Saints!!!!
Praise YHWH for the TRUTH!!!! HalleluYAH!!!
No doubt about it, that all the earth shall see Him when He returns.
Psalms 102:13 - Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.
Psalms 102:14 - For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof.
Psalms 102:15 - So the heathen shall fear the name of YHWH, and all the kings of the earth thy glory.
Psalms 102:16 - When YHWH shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory.Many people I speak to about this suject feel it is not important to "understand" when this will take place. They say all we need to do is be ready.... How are they preparing for this? How are they getting ready?
Matthew 24:29 - Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
Matthew 24:30 - And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
Matthew 24:31 - And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.His Malak (Angels) are waiting to hear the sound of the trumpet.
This is also spoken of in Joel.......
Joel 2:1 - Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of YHWH cometh, for it is nigh at hand;
Joel 2:2 - A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.
Joel 2:10 - The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining:Either they understand that The King of King's is coming back for his bride after the tribulation, or they really are not sure as to the timing of His return.
Matthew 24:21 - For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
Matthew 24:22 - And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.These 'elect' are part of that #......
they will be here til the end!
John 16:33 - These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Matthew 10:28 - And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.There is a huge laodicean attitude that many times goes along with this false teaching, such as, we need not prepare ourselves for any "mark of the beast" decision, because we will not be here....
Revelations 20:4 - And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Yahushua and for the word of YHWH, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received [his] mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with the Messiah for a thousand years.There is also much mis-understanding about "when" this will take place.....
Matthew 25:13 - Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.We will not know the day nor the hour, but we ought to know the time as far as the season.
Matthew 16:3 - And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?Here Yahushua is rebuking the sadducees and the pharisees because they wanted a sign from Him rather than to humble themselves and pray and ask of YHWH for the TRUTH!
It had to do with them not knowing the times of the coming of the Messiah.....
As now He would also rebuke the false teachers for "lying" to people concerning His RETURN!
How are we to know the secrets that He has in store for us?
We need to ask of YHWH for the TRUTH to be revealed to us by His Spirit.
Psalms 25:4 - Shew me thy ways, O YHWH; teach me thy paths.
Psalms 25:5 - Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the Elohim of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.How shall we discern His plan?
1Corinthians 2:9 - But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which Elohim hath prepared for them that love him.
1Corinthians 2:10 - But YHWH hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of YHWH.
1Corinthians 2:11 - For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of Elohim knoweth no man, but the Spirit of Elohim.We receive the Spirit of Truth by keeping His commandments, and His Spirit teaches us of His plan....
The "mystery" of His intents then becomes clear.
1Corinthians 15:51 - Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
1Corinthians 15:52 - In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
1Corinthians 15:53 - For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.Let's look at what the elect and Yahushua will be doing after He comes down to earth......
Jude 1:14 - Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, "Behold, YHWH comes with ten thousands of His saints,
Jude 1:15 - "to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are wicked among them of all their wicked deeds which they have wickedly commited, and of all the harsh things which wicked sinners have spoken against Him."
Psalms 149:6 - Let the high praises of El be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand;
Psalms 149:7 - To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;
Psalms 149:8 - To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;
Psalms 149:9 - To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye YHWH.
Revelations 14:1 - Then I looked, and behold, a Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His name and His Father's name written on their foreheads.
Revelations 14:2 - And I heard a voice from heaven, like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of loud thunder. And I heard the sound of harpists playing their harps.
Revelations 14:3 - They sang as it were a new song before the throne, before the four living creatures, and the elders; and no one could learn that song except the hundred and forty-four thousand who were redeemed from the earth.
Revelations 14:4 - These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed from among men, being firstfruits to YHWH and to the Lamb.
Revelations 14:5 - And in their mouth was found no deceit, for they are without fault before the throne of YHWH.**************************
At this time it is very oppurtune to add "who" would be enjoying this time, and how we could be among that numer
1Thessalonians 3:12 - And YHWH make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you:
1Thessalonians 3:13 - To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before YHWH, even our Father, at the coming of our Master Yahushua the Messiah with all his saints.
Ephesians 5:27 - that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.We are expected to walk in righteousness.... to the end that we would be made 'complete'.....
not lacking anything.....
Psalms 139:23 - Search me, O El, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
Psalms 139:24 - And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
Acts 13:22 - And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.
2Peter 3:13 - Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.
2Peter 3:14 - Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless;.
Deuteronomy 18:13 - Thou shalt be perfect with YHWH thy Elohim.
1Kings 8:61 - Let your heart therefore be perfect with YHWH our Elohim, to walk in his statutes, and to keep his commandments, as at this day.Many people say that we can not be perfect until after He returns....
or that the Messiah came and said we do not have to keep those commandments because Yahushua changed all that when He came....
But,............ Did He say that?
Matthew 5:48 - Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.5048. teleioo, tel-i-o'-o; from G5046; to complete, i.e. (lit.) accomplish, or (fig.) consummate (in character):--consecrate, finish, fulfil, (make) perfect.
It means to complete or to literally "accomplish" something .....
Accomplish what?
Proverbs 13:19 - The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul: but it is abomination to fools to depart from evil.We are to desire to walk in righteousness and depart from evil.
1Corinthians 15:34 - Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of Elohim: I speak this to your shame.Paul was well aware that the Scriptures teach a man to walk in righteousness....
If we truely desire to depart from evil He says that he will grant it.
Proverbs 10:24 - The fear of the wicked, it shall come upon him: but the desire of the righteous shall be granted.
Proverbs 11:23 - The desire of the righteous is only good: but the expectation of the wicked is wrath.But some say the Messiah has changed all that..........
John 8:11 - She said, No man, Sir. And Yahushua said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.I pray that we could be sanctified through His Truth ( His WORD).
Please Almighty YHWH help us to walk in righteousness and sin no more??!?!?!?
John 17:17 - Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
John 17:18 - As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.
John 17:19 - And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth..
John 17:20 - Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
John 17:21 - That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
John 17:22 - And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:.
John 17:23 - I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
Proverbs 18:1 - Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom.again we see that our desire should be to seperate ourselves from whatever sin we may have.....
Luke 6:40 - The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.We should desire to be as Yahushua.....
He was perfect!

Ephesians 4:12 - for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of the Messiah,
Ephesians 4:13 - till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of YHWH, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of the Messiah;Now if this was talking about after we die or when He returns, it would not give the indication that we could turn away from that truth...
John 23:6 -oops
Joshua 23:6 - Be ye therefore very courageous to keep and to do all that is written in the book of the law of Moses, that ye turn not aside therefrom [to] the right hand or [to] the left;I pray that we could ask of Him who could grant it..... to be like HIM.

It is a real FIGHT!
Ephesians 6:10 - Finally, my brethren, be strong in YHWH and in the power of His might.
Ephesians 6:11 - Put on the whole armor of Elohim, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Ephesians 6:12 - For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.It is by His might that we can do this.......
Not by our's.....
Ephesians 6:13 - Therefore take up the whole armor of Elohim, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Ephesians 6:14 - Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
Ephesians 6:15 - and having shod your feet with the preparation of the glad tidings of peace;
Ephesians 6:16 - above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.
Ephesians 6:17 - And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of YHWH;
Ephesians 6:18 - praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints--This is ALL we can do........ I believe that YHWH will do the rest!
Ephesians 4:14 - that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting,
Ephesians 4:15 - but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head--the Messiah--and with that Scripture.... I will close.....
