YermeYah - Do we trust in YHWH with all our heart, or do we lean to our own understanding?
YermeYah - Proverbs 3:5 - Trust in YHWH with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
YermeYah - This question applies as much to me as it does to anyone who hears it.
YermeYah - Proverbs 14:12 - There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
YermeYah - Proverbs 12:15 - The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.
YermeYah - Concerning YHWH's dietary food laws, do we trust in YHWH with all our heart, or do we lean to our own understanding?
YermeYah - Romans 14:14 - I know, and am persuaded by the Saviour Yahushua , that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.
YermeYah - 1Timothy 4:1 - Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
YermeYah - 1Timothy 4:2 - Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
YermeYah - 1Timothy 4:3 - Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods, which YHWH hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
YermeYah - 1Timothy 4:4 - For every creature of YHWH is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
YermeYah - 1Timothy 4:5 - For it is set apart by the word of YHWH and prayer.
YermeYah - Question...how is it set apart by the Word of YHWH?
YermeYah - Leviticus chapter 11 and beginning in verse 2 and reading a few chosen verses...
YermeYah - Leviticus 11:2 - Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth.
YermeYah - Leviticus 11:3 - Whatsoever parteth the hoof, and is clovenfooted, and cheweth the cud, among the beasts, that shall ye eat.
YermeYah - Leviticus 11:9 - These shall ye eat of all that are in the waters: whatsoever hath fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, them shall ye eat.
YermeYah - Leviticus 11:10 - And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you:
YermeYah - Leviticus 11:13 - And these are they which ye shall have in abomination among the fowls; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray...
YermeYah - and this continues on thru verse 19 concerning fowls that we may not eat
YermeYah - Leviticus 11:20 - All fowls that creep, going upon all four, shall be an abomination unto you.
YermeYah - Leviticus 11:21 - Yet these may ye eat of every flying creeping thing that goeth upon all four, which have legs above their feet, to leap withal upon the earth;
YermeYah - Leviticus 11:22 - Even these of them ye may eat; the locust after his kind, and the bald locust after his kind, and the beetle after his kind, and the grasshopper after his kind.
YermeYah - Leviticus 11:23 - But all other flying creeping things, which have four feet, shall be an abomination unto you.
YermeYah - Now, these are the Words of YHWH that sets apart the food that we are permitted to eat
YermeYah - If it is not set apart by the Word of YHWH, then we are not permitted to eat it.
YermeYah - Question...how can we be sure that the ingredients in the food we eat is kosher (fit)?
YermeYah - We are faced with food products that unless we have a chemistry degree, we will not be able to even pronounce some of the ingredients, let alone know whether or not they are kosher .
YermeYah - This is why I believe that the kosher markings on many foods are a blessing.
YermeYah - Also, concerning kosher food, we are commanded to not eat blood or fat....
YermeYah - Leviticus 7:22 - And YHWH spake unto Moses, saying, 23 - Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Ye shall eat no manner of fat, of ox, or of sheep, or of goat.
YermeYah - Leviticus 7:24 - And the fat of the beast that dieth of itself, and the fat of that which is torn with beasts, may be used in any other use: but ye shall in no wise eat of it.
YermeYah - This is saying that you can use the fat but you may not eat the meat...
YermeYah - Exodus 22:31 - And ye shall be holy men unto me: neither shall ye eat any flesh that is torn of beasts in the field; ye shall cast it to the dogs.
YermeYah - continuing on with Leviticus 7:25...
YermeYah - Leviticus 7:25 - For whosoever eateth the fat of the beast, of which men offer an offering made by fire unto YHWH, even the soul that eateth it shall be cut off from his people.
YermeYah - Leviticus 7:26 - Moreover ye shall eat no manner of blood, whether it be of fowl or of beast, in any of your dwellings.
YermeYah - Leviticus 7:27 - Whatsoever soul it be that eateth any manner of blood, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.
YermeYah - This is why I believe that if we decide to eat meat (we are allowed to eat meat, but we are not commanded to eat it most of the time)....
YermeYah - but if we eat meat, I believe that it is imporatant to be sure that the animal was killed properly, and unless we do it ourselves...
YermeYah - then we should purchase it from a kosher meat market, otherwise we will end up eating blood.
YermeYah - And it all goes back to the question...do we trust in YHWH with all our heart, or do we lean to our own understanding?
YermeYah - The next subject that I wish to address is...
YermeYah - How are we to relate to the individual members of the body of the Messiah?
YermeYah - Yahushua said in John 13:34....
YermeYah - John 13:34 - A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
YermeYah - How did Yahushua love us?
YermeYah - John 15:12 - This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
YermeYah - John 15:13 - Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
YermeYah - That is what our master did for us!!
YermeYah - Let us now go to the Torah...
YermeYah - Leviticus 19:17 - Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.
YermeYah - Leviticus 19:18 - Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am YHWH.
YermeYah - Now, going back to Yahushua
YermeYah - Luke 17:1 - Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!
YermeYah - Luke 17:2 - It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.
YermeYah - Luke 17:3 - Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.
YermeYah - Luke 17:4 - And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
YermeYah - If we have a problem with a brother or a sister, we better get it resolved!!!
YermeYah - Matthew 18:15 - Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.
YermeYah - Matthew 18:16 - But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.
YermeYah - Matthew 18:17 - And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.
YermeYah - Matthew 18:18 - Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
YermeYah - If your brother has 'anything' against you...
YermeYah - Matthew 5:23 - Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;
YermeYah - Matthew 5:24 - Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.
YermeYah - Proverbs 16:2 - All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but YHWH weigheth the spirits.
YermeYah - Proverbs 16:3 - Commit thy works unto YHWH, and thy thoughts shall be established.
YermeYah - Proverbs 15:28 - The heart of the righteous studieth to answer: but the mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things.
YermeYah - Proverbs 15:29 - YHWH is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous.
YermeYah - Proverbs 15:30 - The light of the eyes rejoiceth the heart: and a good report maketh the bones fat.
YermeYah - Proverbs 15:31 - The ear that heareth the reproof of life abideth among the wise.
YermeYah - Proverbs 15:32 - He that refuseth instruction despiseth his own soul: but he that heareth reproof getteth understanding.
YermeYah - Proverbs 15:33 - The fear of YHWH is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour is humility.
YermeYah - We are called to be servants of Abba YHWH...

YermeYah - Notice what Shaul said...That we are to be in the unity of the spirit (v. 3) until we come into the unity of the faith (v. 13)

YermeYah - Where we as adults are supposed to have temperance and self control, children on the other hand, do not have these tools to battle human nature...

YermeYah - Deuteronomy 6:6 - And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:

YermeYah - And we must remember that we are all children of YHWH...

YermeYah - Hebrews 12:7 - If you endure chastening, YHWH deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten?
YermeYah - We can say that we love YHWH and believe in following the Torah, but remember...
YermeYah - James 2:17 - Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
YermeYah - James 2:18 - But someone will say, "You have faith, and I have works." Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.
YermeYah - James 2:19 - You believe that there is one Elohim. You do well. Even the demons believe--and tremble!

YermeYah - I would like to end by saying that it is YHWH's desire that we all trust him with all our hearts, and lean not to our own understanding...
