Jozef_Lydia - Our Heavenly Father YAHWEH, THE ELOHENU among the 'elohim' [mighty ones], all praise and worship belongs to You, and we acknowledge Your most set apart Name.
Jozef_Lydia - You are the only rightful ruler of the heavens and the earths, and we thank You for this 'Your' Shabbat of rest.
Jozef_Lydia - We even physically bow down to You as we worship You alone O, Yahweh, and we bend our knees to You through the Name of Yahushua Your Son our Saviour.
Jozef_Lydia - Thank You for the goodness of life, and also for our daily sustenance food and clothing shelter, and Your protection, and above all… Your eternal Love for us.
Jozef_Lydia - Thank you for putting Your Love in us through the spiritual life force in 'Your Word', which we believe to be Yahushua living in and through us.
Jozef_Lydia - Heavenly Father, we pray for this day, and for the days after, Your great peace to be upon us all, regardless the situation in the world or in our personal lives.
Jozef_Lydia - Please forgive us of all our weaknesses, and mistakes we still make daily, the ones in not totally trusting You in all situations.
Jozef_Lydia - Help us to forgive others the way You have forgiven us of all our sins, wrongs and mistakes.
Jozef_Lydia - Forgive us also for the grievances we might have harboured toward our fellow men, our spouses our parents our teachers.
Jozef_Lydia - And forgive us for the evil tongue we might have used against our brothers and sisters, help us to overcome all our weaknesses, and turn them into strengths,
Jozef_Lydia - Please Abba Yahweh, be with all Your people today all over the world, wherever they are, and regardless if we agree with them or not, and make us one in Your Spirit.
Jozef_Lydia - Protect us against any evil, and deliver us from evil within (if any), also deliver us from hate against any human being regardless of their nationality or creed, and bless them that are persecuting us.
Jozef_Lydia - And above all, deliver us all from the evil influences from the outside, in this unholy world, and help us to take Your Word and Your instructions VERY serious!
Jozef_Lydia - Therefore we pray for Your Kingdom to be established soon were peace and justice reigns.

Tonight I would like to talk about walking in victory and .. overcoming!
The Israelites trek into the land flowing with milk and honey is symbolic of our own journey to the promised land when Yahushua returns for His people
They were called out of bondage (Egypt), led by the Spirit into a time of trial and testing and were eventually led into the Promised land
We too were called out of bondage (sin), and are being led into righteousness and trials and testings by the Spirit of Yahweh Most High
And we, if we endure will eventually be led into the kingdom of Yahweh.. also by one named Yahushua (Joshua)
In the book of Numbers where Moshe sent men to spy out the Promised Land and to bring a report back about the land:
Numbers 13:17 - And Moses sent them to spy out the land of Canaan, and said unto them, Get you up this way southward, and go up into the mountain:
Numbers 13:18 - And see the land, what it is; and the people that dwelleth therein, whether they be strong or weak, few or many;
Numbers 13:19 - And what the land is that they dwell in, whether it be good or bad; and what cities they be that they dwell in, whether in tents, or in strong holds;
Numbers 13:20 - And what the land is, whether it be fat or lean, whether there be wood therein, or not. And be ye of good courage, and bring of the fruit of the land. Now the time was the time of the firstripe grapes.
Numbers 13:21 - So they went up, and searched the land from the wilderness of Zin unto Rehob, as men come to Hamath.When they returned, they brought back an evil report:
Numbers 13:30 - And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.
Numbers 13:31 - But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.
Numbers 13:32 - And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature.
Numbers 13:33 - And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.
Numbers 14:1 - And all the congregation lifted up their voice, and cried; and the people wept that night.
Numbers 14:2 - And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron: and the whole congregation said unto them, Would Elohim that we had died in the land of Egypt! or would Elohim we had died in this wilderness!
Numbers 14:3 - And wherefore hath YAHWEH brought us unto this land, to fall by the sword, that our wives and our children should be a prey? were it not better for us to return into Egypt?
Numbers 14:4 - And they said one to another, Let us make a captain, and let us return into Egypt.We see that they wanted to return to Egypt. They did not believe Yahweh and His word
So Yahweh said:
Numbers 14:11 - And YAHWEH said unto Moses, How long will this people provoke me? and how long will it be ere they believe me, for all the signs which I have shewed among them?So I would like to ponder the question, "Do WE believe Yahweh?"
Do we believe that He is willing and able to deliver us from our enemies and bring us to the promised land (His Kingdom)?
Are we fearful rather than full of faith?
How will Yahweh deliver us?
What must we do in order to be delivered?
It is written:
Isaiah 45:23 - I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.When Yahweh swears an oath, we would do well to listen. He swore an oath to Abraham and look at all that Yahweh did to keep that oath!
Isaiah 45:23 - I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.
Isaiah 45:24 - Surely, shall one say, in YAHWEH have I righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed.
Isaiah 45:25 - In YAHWEH shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.So we see that part of the oath in the above verses was that ALL people would say "'Surely in Yahweh I have righteousness and strength".
Yes, one day all will be forced to bow the knee to Yahweh and confess that only in Yahweh do we have righteousness and only in Yahweh do we have "strength".
We know that Yahweh's righteousness is placed on those who accept His Messiah, but how are we going to be able to get Yahweh's strength?
First, we must know and believe (have faith) in Yahweh's strength:
1John 5:3 - For this is the love of YAHWEH, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.
1John 5:4 - For whatever is born of YAHWEH overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world--our faith.Indeed, our faith! Without faith, it is impossible to please Yahweh:
Hebrews 11:6 - But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to YAHWEH must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.We surely must have faith in His "strength" in order to have victory and overcome
He must be our "Elohim". The word "Elohim" has much to do with strength, might and power. Consider:
Micah 2:1 - Woe to them that devise iniquity, and work evil upon their beds! when the morning is light, they practise it, because it is in the power of their hand.The Hebrew word translated "Power" in this verse is the Hebrew word "El".. the word family from which we get "Elohim".
Yahweh must be our "Power, Might, our Mighty One!". We must rely on His strength if we have any hope in overcoming.
Isaiah 40:29 - He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
Psalms 68:35 - O Elohim, thou art terrible out of thy holy places: the El of Israel is he that giveth strength and power unto his people. Blessed be Elohim.Do we believe this? Or are we like those who died in the wilderness who didn't believe that Yahweh was strong enough to take them into the good land?
Is He truly our "Elohim"?
He is the source of strength. Indeed from Him are all things, from the smallest atom to the farthest reaches of the universe. Does He not have strength and power!!?
YES.
Through Yahushua we believe that we have eternal life, because His word says so
Thus, by faith we believe we are "His people"
Then believe Psalm 68:35 which declares that He gives strength and power to His people!
But how do we receive His strength and power so that we can overcome and walk in victory?
How can the sins that we commit be overcome by His strength?
Let's look again at the verses in 1John 5 that we were reading:
1John 5:3 - For this is the love of YAHWEH, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.
1John 5:4 - For whatever is born of YAHWEH overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world--our faith.
1John 5:5 - Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Yahushua is the Son of YAHWEH?So then, just as we know that the righteousness of Yahweh comes through Yahushua the Messiah.. so does Yahweh's strength. Indeed it was through the Messiah that Yahweh created all things:
Hebrews 1:1 - Elohim, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets,
Hebrews 1:2 - has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds;
Hebrews 1:3 - who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,So we must overcome the world by the strength of Yahweh, given through His Messiah.. Yahushua.
John 16:33 - These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.Yahushua has overcome the world!
If we abide in Him and He in us, then He can overcome the world also, IN US:
2Corinthians 13:5 - Test yourselves whether you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Yahushua the Messiah is in you-- unless indeed you fail the test?
1Corinthians 15:56 - The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
1Corinthians 15:57 - But thanks be to YAHWEH, which giveth us the victory through our Master Yahushua the Messiah.
1Corinthians 15:58 - Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of YAHWEH, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in Him.It is Yahweh who gives us victory, yet consider the one that Yahweh has chosen to give us victory through!
His very name 'Yahushua' (Yahweh is salvation, or Yahweh saves) indicates this.
Psalms 98:1 - O sing unto YAHWEH a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.
Psalms 98:2 - YAHWEH hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen.
Psalms 98:3 - He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our Elohim.His Holy Arm, Yahushua the Messiah has gotten Him the victory and all the ends of the earth will see the salvation of Yahweh. Overcoming and victory are at the heart of the salvation message.
1John 2:13 - I write to you, fathers, because you have known Him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you have overcome the wicked one. I write to you, little children, because you have known the Father.
1John 2:14 - I have written to you, fathers, because you have known Him who is from the beginning. I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of YAHWEH abides in you, and you have overcome the wicked one.When His Word abides in us, we can overcome.
Psalms 119:11 - Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.The Messiah, the Word must abide in us. We must be willing to abide in Him.
John 15:4 - Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
John 15:5 - I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
John 15:6 - If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
John 15:7 - If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
John 15:8 - Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
John 15:9 - As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
John 15:10 - If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.So with Messiah (the Word) abiding in us, and we in Him, we will keep His commandments.
1John 2:4 - He who says, "I know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
1John 2:5 - But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of YAHWEH is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.
1John 2:6 - He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.
1John 3:24 - Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.And this Spirit which He has given us, where does it lead us?
Yahweh's Spirit will be in us and "cause us to walk in His statutes"
Ezekiel 36:27 - And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.Brethren, if we are in battle with sin and are needing victory.. Yahweh is stronger than anything that could possibly come against us!
David recognized this and called upon Yahweh:
Psalms 39:8 - Deliver me from all my transgressions: make me not the reproach of the foolish.Again, remember the name of Yahushua and its meaning that Yahweh will deliver us from our sins:
Matthew 1:21 - And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Yahushua : for he shall save his people from their sins.What temptations come into your life?
We need to treat that temptation like the enemy and immediately pray.
Ask Yahweh to deliver you from your enemies
1Chronicles 16:11 - Seek YAHWEH and his strength, seek his face continually.He has power!
Nearly all temptation begins in the mind. When the temptation enters your mind, get your mind on Yahweh by praying and have scriptures memorized that condemn the sinful act you are being tempted by.
Do this every time you are tempted in your mind.
Sometimes we can even have temptation while praying. Do not stop! If necessary:
1Thessalonians 5:17 - Pray without ceasing.Confess to Yahweh that you cannot do it, but that you do have faith that Yahweh can bring Yahushua to overcome the world through you
Remember, there is a battle going on and it is the most important battle in the world! There is nothing more important !!
2Corinthians 10:3 - For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh,
2Corinthians 10:4 - for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses.
2Corinthians 10:5 - Destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of YAHWEH, taking every thought captive to the obedience of the Messiah,
2Corinthians 10:6 - and we are ready to punish all disobedience, whenever your obedience is complete.Bring "every thought" into captivity to the obedience of the Messiah. For herein lies the battleground
It is there that we must call upon Yahweh for victory, and it is there that we can have true victory. It is there that WE MUST WIN. For He who is in us is stronger than he that is in the world!
We need to be on Yahweh's side!
We don't want to be on the side of the enemy!
There is a kingdom coming where Yahweh will rule and reign. All such disobedience will be punished. Let's be not only overcomers, but ready to punish all disobedience
1John 4:4 - You are of YAHWEH, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.If we do sin, we should confess it:
1John 1:9 - If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.Confession is an important part of being cleansed and overcoming
All the while, remember the One who overcame the world and wants to overcome the world through us:
John 16:33 - These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.We can overcome. Don't be discouraged. Others gone before us have made it, why can't we? We must believe His word:
Psalms 37:28 - For YAHWEH loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.
Proverbs 24:16 - For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.Let's consider for a moment some of the things which Yahweh has prepared for those who overcome:
Revelation 2:7 - "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the garden of YAHWEH." '
Revelation 2:11 - "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. He who overcomes shall not be hurt by the second death." '
Revelation 2:17 - "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives [it]." '
Revelation 2:26 - "And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations--Ponder these scriptures in the midst of a temptation battle... what strength!
Revelation 3:5 - "He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.
Revelation 3:12 - "He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My Elohim, and he shall go out no more. And I will write on him the name of My Elohim and the name of the city of My Elohim, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My Elohim. And I will write on him My new name.In the midst of battle... recognizing it is THE battle of life or death. Yahushua faced that battle in a desert after 40 days with no food or water, He overcame with the Word of Yahweh
Now look where He is!
Revelation 3:21 - "To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.Wow!
Therefore, let us not be like the Israelites in the wilderness and say that we cannot overcome it.
Let's not say "It is too strong for us"
Let's not weep and mourn because we cannot destroy the enemy by the power of Yahweh
Let's believe Yahweh, that we CAN overcome with HIS strength!
Revelation 12:11 - "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.What is this life anyway?
James 4:14 - whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.and again..
Isaiah 40:6 - The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field:
Isaiah 40:7 - The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of YAHWEH bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass.
Isaiah 40:8 - The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our Elohim shall stand for ever.It isn't worth it! There is nothing in this life worth hanging onto
Overcoming and walking in victory with Yahweh!? That's ETERNAL
That stands forever
We can be among the righteous:
Revelation 15:2 - And I saw [something] like a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those who have the victory over the beast, over his image and over his mark [and] over the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of Elohim.
Revelation 15:3 - They sing the song of Moses, the servant of YAHWEH, and the song of the Lamb, saying: "Great and marvelous are Your works, O YAHWEH El-Shaddai! Just and true are Your ways, O King of the saints!
Revelation 15:4 - Who shall not fear You, OYAHWEH, and glorify Your name? For [You] alone are holy. For all nations shall come and worship before You, for Your judgments have been manifested."Indeed, we must sing the song of Moshe AND of the Lamb!
Revelation 14:12 - Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of YAHWEH and the faith of Yahushua.We can do it through Him!! We can keep Yahweh's commandments and we can have mercy, righteousness and strength in Yahushua:
1John 2:1 - My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Yahushua the Messiah the righteous.
1John 2:2 - And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.
1John 2:3 - Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments.Struggling with sin? Confess it now, forsake it now!
Proverbs 28:13 - He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.Rely on His strength from this day forward!
Without Him you might as well give up, YOU CAN'T DO IT!
He CAN
I know some people who are so worried about what the enemy's next step is, that they forget that we need to be thinking about what YAHWEH is doing
Let's focus on Yahweh
Let's believe His word!
If we can only rely on Yahweh to help us overcome, we can look forward to the day…
when we can rest:
Revelation 21:7 - "He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his Elohim and he shall be My son.I know we all long for that day brothers and sisters
Romans 8:37 - Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
Romans 8:38 - For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Romans 8:39 - Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of YAHWEH, which is in Messiah Yahushua our Saviour.Therefore, resting on these promises my brothers and sisters:
Jeremiah 6:16 - Thus saith YAHWEH, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.Let us not be among those who say they will not walk therein, but let us be among those who ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein
In Yahushua we have the victory and mercy we need to do so, if we will only pray….
and trust
and believe
And when we have done what is commanded..
Luke 17:10 - So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.In the end, we will surely say "in Yahweh have I righteousness and strength." In the end, we will say that Yahweh has done it, all glory to Him!
Psalms 52:9 - I will praise thee for ever, because thou hast done it: and I will wait on thy name; for it is good before thy saints.And then one day we can hear the words..
Matthew 25:23 - His master said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy master.
James 1:12 - Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which YAHWEH has promised to those who love Him.HalleluYah, and when we receive the crowns.. we can be like the 24 elders:
Revelation 4:10 - the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying:
Revelation 4:11 - "You are worthy, O YAHWEH, to receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created."For then we will truly be able to say, Yahweh has done it.
Brothers & Sisters.. seekers of Yahweh. Believe it.
Yahweh can do it.
