duane - Blessed Father Yahweh, we come humbly before Your throne tonight.
duane - To praise Your might, Your love, Your longsuffering, and Your mercy on us.
duane - Our goal is to always please You, Father, and to think upon Your name.
duane - Father thank You for Your many blessings, and thank You for the sacrifice of Your Son Yahushua, through whom we are able to come to You.
duane - Bless each and every soul here tonight, may we all leave with more than what we had when we entered.
duane - Thank You for supplying our needs, and thank You for giving us the armor we need to live in this world.
duane - Heal the sick, and raise the dead in spirit.
duane - Bring us all through the trials and tribulations that we suffer, and fill us with Your set-upart spirit.
duane - Also bless all who cannot be with us tonight, all over the world.
duane - Keep us strong and impervious to the adversary, that we not succomb to temptations.
duane - Bless our brother EliYah tonight as he shares Your precious Word.
duane - May Your righteous kingdom come soon.
duane - You are the power and the glory forever and ever.
duane - We ask all things in the name of Yahuishua ha Mashiach, Amein
duane - HalleluYAH!
Tonight I would like to talk about something so important, it can determine our salvation .
Unless we have this right, we will not be saved .
In the Torah it says:
Deuteronomy 28:45 - Moreover all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou hearkenedst not unto the voice of YAHWEH thy Elohim, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee:
Deuteronomy 28:46 - And they shall be upon thee for a sign and for a wonder, and upon thy seed for ever.
Deuteronomy 28:47 - Because thou servedst not YAHWEH thy Elohim with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things;
Deuteronomy 28:48 - Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which YAHWEH shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee.
These scriptures speak of curses that would come upon the disobedient.
Notice carefully what Yahweh says of those upon whom the curses fall.. what is their attitude toward Yahweh and His blessings?
"Because thou servedst not YAHWEH thy Elohim with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things;"
In many ways, this can be the key to whether or not we walk in Yahweh's ways.
Brothers and sisters, Yahweh is looking at our hearts, examing it, testing it to know..
our "Attitude".
Do we serve Yahweh with joy and gladness of heart? Do we cheerfully obey or grudgingly obey because "we have to?"
Do we serve Him because we love Him? Or do we only serve Him because we are scared of what might happen otherwise?
Let's look at the definition for "Attitude" in the dictionary:
Attitude n 1: "a complex mental orientation involving beliefs and feelings and values and dispositions to act in certain ways"
Our attitude toward Yahweh, our attitude toward one another, our attitude toward obedience to Yahweh's commandments, and especially our attitude in response to our salvation in Yahushua are all very important.
The word "Attitude" is not found in scripture, at least it is not translated as such. However, examples of good and poor attitudes are many.
Here is an example of a poor attitude:
Numbers 11:1 - And when the people complained, it displeased YAHWEH: and YAHWEH heard it; and his anger was kindled; and the fire of YAHWEH burnt among them, and consumed them that were in the uttermost parts of the camp.
As we can see, a complaining attitude is not something that is pleasing to Yahweh. It was the result of a poor attitude. Obviously, they were not serving Yahweh with "joyfulness, and with gladness of heart."
A poor attitude can result in a great variety of sins.
In many cases, complaining is often due to a lack of faith:
Consider the example..
Numbers 13:30 - And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.
Numbers 13:31 - But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.
Numbers 13:32 - And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature.
Numbers 13:33 - And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.
Numbers 14:1 - And all the congregation lifted up their voice, and cried; and the people wept that night.
Numbers 14:2 - And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron: and the whole congregation said unto them, Would Elohim that we had died in the land of Egypt! or would Elohim we had died in this wilderness!
It was ultimately for the reason of complaining and lack of faith that Yahweh considered totally destroying them. This was a large part of the reason Yahweh made them wander in the desert for 40 years until that generation perished.
Does Yahweh change in this day and age?
Yahweh had a plan for Israel, with many great promises.
He also has a plan for us with great and awesome promises
So what might He say if He sees us complaining about our circumstances?
Unless we repent, we too could be rejected by Yahweh from entering His kingdom.
It all goes back to... "Attitude "
Is the way to life difficult? Yes, many times the children of Israel were without water
The children of Israel, in response to the salvation that Yahweh offered, and the tests that Yahweh gave... chose to complain.
Beware lest we follow their example and complain about our own circumstances, for Yahweh kept them from the promised land as a result of this attitude.
If we are walking in His ways, then whatever situation we are in, it is ordained by Yahweh!
But if we are not walking in His ways, then we are simply eating the fruit of our own doings.
Either way, we have no right to complain. And either way, Yahweh can see us through it all.
A tender heart Yahweh will hear.
Many are the examples where Yahweh planned destruction against a nation or a person, but when they changed their attitude and softened their heart and humbled themselves before Yahweh, Yahweh would have mercy upon them.
Josiah was a King of Judah who had found the book of the law and saw that Yahweh was going to destroy Israel.
Because he feared Yahweh and believed His word, He sent to inquire of Yahweh. Yahweh said:
2Kings 22:18 - But to the king of Judah which sent you to inquire of YAHWEH, thus shall ye say to him, Thus saith YAHWEH Elohim of Israel, As touching the words which thou hast heard;
2Kings 22:19 - Because thine heart was tender, and thou hast humbled thyself before YAHWEH, when thou heardest what I spake against this place, and against the inhabitants thereof, that they should become a desolation and a curse, and hast rent thy clothes, and wept before me; I also have heard thee, saith YAHWEH.
2Kings 22:20 - Behold therefore, I will gather thee unto thy fathers, and thou shalt be gathered into thy grave in peace; and thine eyes shall not see all the evil which I will bring upon this place. And they brought the king word again.
Even concerning the wicked King Ahab, Yahweh said:
1Kings 21:29 - Seest thou how Ahab humbleth himself before me? because he humbleth himself before me, I will not bring the evil in his days: but in his son's days will I bring the evil upon his house.
And so Yahweh had mercy even on a very wicked king because he was pleased with the humble attitude.
Now what should be our attitude toward what Yahushua did for us?
When we really think about what Yahushua has done for us, it is absolutely stunning.
1John 4:19 - We love Him because He first loved us.
He loved us when we were in rebellion toward Him, when we were yet in our sins.
And when we heard of His love for us, it compelled us to love Him.
In Him we received salvation and eternal life.
Now what should be our attitude toward those who hurt us?
Colossians 1:24 - Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of the Messiah in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the assembly:
1Peter 4:13 - but rejoice to the extent that you partake of the Messiah's sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.
With Yahushua living in us, we need not hold bitterness toward another. We should be willing to bear the pain that others cause us, that we might have fellowship in Yahushua's sufferings. He bore much pain for our sakes.
So our attitude toward others is one of forgiveness and love.. demonstrating Yahushua the Messiah's presence in our lives
What shou-ld be our attitude toward Yahweh concerning our salvation?
Many teach today (perhaps ignorantly) that we need not love Him.
Rather, they want to love Yahweh the way they want to, not the way He says true love is
They want to form and make their own elohim by forming Him into an elohim that they want and like.
But we should be letting Yahweh define Himself through what He has revealed in His word.
We should be seeking to mold our life around Yahweh rather than molding Yahweh around our life.
We should be on guard against these things, brethren.
Our response toward Yahweh should be one of TRUE love for Him, the way He defines love in His word
Matthew 22:35 - Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,
Matthew 22:36 - Rabbi, which is the great commandment in the law?
Matthew 22:37 - Yahushua said unto him, Thou shalt love YAHWEH thy Elohim with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Matthew 22:38 - This is the first and great commandment.
Matthew 22:39 - And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Matthew 22:40 - On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
All throughout history Yahweh has sought to lead men to love one another and love Him with all their hearts.
And all throughout history man has sought to redefine what love truly is.
The teachers of today want to sever the law and prophets from the two commandments upon which they hang.
Yahweh could have given just those 2 great commandments at Sinai but then everyone would define love in their own way.
Some might say that adultery is love, others might say breaking the Sabbath is love, and so on.
Such is the case today when one does not hear the Torah or seek to its instruction for the definition of what love truly is.
Thus, the response to hearing of Yahushua's love is not true love in return as the Word of Yahweh speaks:
1John 4:19 - We love Him because He first loved us.
Instead, millions are taught that we only need faith, and we can ignore the Torah's definitions of what love truly is because Yahushua already kept all that for us...He fulfilled it all.
But this is not the right attitude at all!
Romans 3:31 - Do we then make void the law through faith? By no means! Yea, we establish the law.
In this scripture, it says that we do not make "void" the law through faith.
Katargeo is the word in Greek that is translated "Void"
It is defined as follows in the Thayer's Greek Lexicon:
12BDB/Thayers # 2673 2673 katargeo {kat-arg-eh'-o} from 2596 and 691; TDNT - :452,76; AV - destroy 5, do away 3, abolish 3, cumber 1, loose 1, cease 1, fall 1, deliver 1, misc 11; 27
12 1) to render idle, unemployed, inactivate, inoperative 1a) to cause a person or thing to have no further efficiency 1b) to deprive of force, influence, power
12 2) to cause to cease, put an end to, do away with, annul, abolish 2a) to cease, to pass away, be done away.
12 2b) to be severed from, separated from, discharged from, loosed from any one 2c) to terminate all intercourse with one.
An interesting definition.
Today, we are told just the opposite
The very opposite of Romans 3:31
We are told that "through faith" the law is "12 abolished, done away with, ceased, rendered idle, inactive, inoperative " and we are "12 severed from, seperated from, discharged from, loosed from " the law of Yahweh
This is in direct opposition to Romans 3:31
While it is true in one sense that we are not held to keeping the law perfectly to receive salvation (for in Yahushua, we are redeemed and made perfect) it is false in another sense to say that the law itself is now "abolished, done away with, ceased, rendered idle, inactive, inoperative" as a standard of righteousness that Yahweh wants us to live by.
It still teaches us what sin is, what righteousness is, and what true love is
What does faith do? It establishes the law!
Romans 3:31 - Do we then make void the law through faith? By no means! Yea, we establish the law.
This is the right attitude, brethren
What does it mean to establish the law via faith?
Let's look at a lexicon for the word translated "establish":
12BDB/Thayers # 2476 2476 histemi {his'-tay-mee} a prolonged form of a primary stao {stah'-o} (of the same meaning, and used for it in certain tenses); TDNT - 7:638,1082; v AV - stand 116, set 11, establish 5, stand still 4, stand by 3, misc 17, vr stand 2; 158
121) to cause or make to stand, to place, put, set
(There is more to this definition but it is very long)
By faith, we "cause the law to stand"!
By our WORKING Faith, we cause the law to stand, not FALL, be set aside or go into oblivion!
Causing the law to stand in our hearts is the right attitude toward what Yahushua did for us
Our attitude and our heart should be one of obedience toward Yahweh's commandments, not the common saying we hear today when we tell others about the need to keep the commonly ignored commandments: "Well, I don't believe I'm going to lose my salvation over it".
For some reason, people want to try and figure out how much disobedience they can get away with and still make it into the kingdom.
There are even huge debates over whether or not you need to be baptized, because some want to say you don't need to do it since baptism itself doesn't save you.
What kind of debate is that??
Yahushua said it, we do it.. that settles it!
Many say this in response to a conviction about using the true names, keeping the Sabbath or many other things that we share with them.. "Well, I don't believe I'm going to lose my salvation over it".
We will hear an "oh well/humdrum" attitude toward obedience. One man said to me, "You're right about the Sabbath, but I'm not going to change my life over it"
This is the WRONG attitude.
Serving Yahweh is not about what you can get away with...
But what we should want to do! What we get to do!!
It is about "serving"
Service to Yahweh involves action, not mere lip service!
There is a lot of focus today about what Yahushua has done for man, but not much focus on what He desires to do IN MAN.
He wants to keep those same commandments in YOU that He kept while on the earth, If indeed Yahushua the Messiah dwells in you.
To say "Well, I don't believe I'm going to lose my salvation over it" to me is like saying "I don't have to love Yahweh that much, I can still make it into the kingdom by loving him less"
Is serving Yahweh really about what you can get away with and still make it in? With that kind of attitude, we aren't likely to make it in at all...and then it becomes salvational.
Isn't it about this?
Deuteronomy 6:5 - And thou shalt love YAHWEH thy Elohim with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
With such a wrong attitude, it only reveals that the person is not loving Yahweh with all their heart, soul and strength.
Yahushua said:
John 14:15 - If ye love me, keep my commandments.
Now I realize that many have this attitude because it is what they are taught to do.
But this is still the wrong attitude!
Will the Torah still stand in our hearts or will it be made void in our hearts?
Will we love Yahweh or not?
Yahweh's law will stand as the standard of righteousness whether we want it to or not.
But do we care enough to heed His word? This is an important question for this generation.
Do we love Him enough or are we seeking what we can get away with? Are we like the child who always pushes the limits or the one who seek his Father's desire?
It's all about our attitude
The children of Israel may have thought many times "Well Yahweh is still going to take us into the promised land".
But He rejected them for their attitude and for transgressing His law.
Like it or not, sin is still defined as transgressing Yahweh's law
1John 3:4 - Whoever commits sin trangresses also the law, for sin is the transgression of the law.
Because of their poor attitude, the children of Israel wanted to go back to SIN (Egypt).
They thought it would be okay and even better if they just returned to Egypt (bondage)
They complained about following Yahweh and His commandments.
Therefore they led their rebellion to go back into transgression (Sin).
They said:
Numbers 14:4 - And they said one to another, Let us make a captain, and let us return into Egypt.
Numbers 14:5 - Then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before all the assembly of the congregation of the children of Israel.
Sadly, this is what is basically being taught today.
It is taught that once a person is saved, it's okay if they go back to Egypt (Torah breaking lifestyle)! Many have the attitude that you can still willfully sin like you did back in Egypt, you'll get forgiven anyway.
But brethren..
This is not the good news of Yahushua the Messiah. It shouldn't even be good news to us, that we can go back.
Once we have salvation, we do not go back to Egypt nor do should we even desire to go there. We press on.. learning the Torah as they did and walking in His strength and righteousness.
Philippians 3:8 - Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of the Messiah Yahushua my Master: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win the Messiah,
Philippians 3:9 - And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of the Messiah, the righteousness which is of YAHWEH by faith:
Philippians 3:10 - That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
Philippians 3:11 - If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
Philippians 3:12 - Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of the Messiah Yahushua.
Philippians 3:13 - Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
Philippians 3:14 - I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of YAHWEH in the Messiah Yahushua.
Once we have salvation, we do not go back to Egypt nor do should we even desire to go there. We press on.. learning the Torah as they did and walking in His strength and righteousness.
We do not want to return to the vomit, we want to press on and heed the Torah of His Kingdom.
The Kingdom is at hand, brethren and we should seek to walk in the Kingdom's rules now.. if indeed we want to rule and reign with Messiah.
We aren't made righteous through keeping the Torah, we are made righteous through Yahushua. But Yahushua lives in us so let's do the things He did!
For how can we be rulers when we don't care to know or obey the rules ourselves?
The kingdom's rules will be according to the Torah
Micah 4:1 - But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of YAHWEH shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.
Micah 4:2 - And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of YAHWEH, and to the house of the Elohim of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of YAHWEH from Jerusalem.
Micah 4:3 - And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more
Micah 4:4 - But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of YAHWEH of hosts hath spoken it.
Micah 4:5 - For all people will walk every one in the name of his elohim, and we will walk in the name of YAHWEH our Elohim for ever and ever.
HalleluYah!! Now that's something to look "forward" to! A worthy mark!
But just like it was for ancient Israel, there will be hard times as we travel this barren land.
Yes, it is a narrow way..
But when we trust in Yahweh and seek His ways, there is a promised land that awaits us.
Our attitude along the way is very very important.
If Yahweh is in the lead, you have no reason to fear.
If you are in the lead, then step aside and let Him take over right now!
Yahweh is the most powerful being in the entire universe and beyond. He is quite able to handle things!
An attitude of obedience and willingness to let Him lead you is at the very heart of salvation, for it is evidence of our humility, our trust and our love for Him.
It is evidence that we have chosen to repent
2Timothy 3:8 - Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
Just as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moshe, beware lest any of us would also withstand Moshe, for that is also resisting the truth. Through Moshe, Yahweh gave commandments that even Yahushua the Messiah had to obey.
According to the Targum of Jonathan, Jannes and Jambres were the magicians who withstood Moshe. They saw Yahweh's power but withstood the truth.
Yahushua the Messiah is our perfect example. What was His attitude toward truth?
He prayed concerning us:
John 17:17 - Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
His word IS truth. Paul wrote Timothy saying that reprobate men resist the truth/word. But we are sanctified by His word, which is truth.
This is what our attitude needs to be: His word is truth, we believe it!
We may have weaknesses but Yahushua knows them well.
Hebrews 4:15 - For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.
Weaknesses are areas where we have difficulty overcoming.
The key is that we continually seek to overcome, for that is the right attitude.
It's those that do not even care to overcome that are in great danger.
Yahushua said
Matthew 4:17 - From that time Yahushua began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
(wrong chapter)
Matthew 5:17 - Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
Matthew 5:18 - For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Matthew 5:19 - Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
He didn't come to destroy the law, but to fulfill it.. to do it.
Do we wish to become great in His kingdom, or among the least?
Yahushua told us what to do.
He wants us to fulfill the law also.
Romans 13:8 - Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
Truly, I have heard the words said to me in response to Mat. 5:18: "Well, I'll settle for being among the least in the kingdom"
Another man once said to me "I won't do them nor teach men to not do them"
In other words, he wasn't going to teach anyone to do them.. and he wasn't about to do them himself.
It is the obvious desire of Yahushua in verse 19, that we do them AND teach them.
So is "I won't do them and I won't teach others that they shouldn't do them" the attitude that Yahweh desires??
What is the right attitude toward the commandments of Yahweh?
How about, "I love You so much Yahweh that I want to be what you want me to be! I want to be Righteous like You!!"
"I was created in Your image, I want to be just that" and "I am so excited about Your love for me.. I want to love you and know you!"
If we don't have an attitude of obedience, we may find ourselves to be liars
1John 2:4 - He who says, "I know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
"The truth is not in him" because Yahweh's word/Torah/commandments are truth, and such a one is resisting it
Yahushua would not be in him either because Yahushua is Truth and He is the Word of Yahweh
1John 2:5 - But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of YAHWEH is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.
The love of Yahweh is perfected in those who keep His commandments/His word
Yahushua will keep the commandments in us..that He kept while on earth
His word and every commandment in the law teaches us how to love Yahweh and love one another
We have a great example brethren
1John 2:6 - He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.
Let's walk as He walked. He had the right attitude toward Yahweh's law
He had the right attitude toward unfair situations. He had the right attitude about bearing the sins and pains of others.
He had the right attitude toward Yahweh in all things.
Matthew 5:47 - And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?
Matthew 5:48 - Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
This should be our desire and our attitude.... to be perfect
The mainstream teachers of today may despise you and call you a legalist for trying to be perfect before Yahweh, but the blind man who refuses the light of the Torah through Yahushua will only lead others into a ditch
Seeking perfection is the right attitude according to Yahweh's word. With men it is impossible to be perfect before Him, but with Yahweh all things are possible.
Yahushua was perfect and we are commanded to walk as He walked. In Him we are perfected
It is an unclean spirit that tries to make us feel guilty for our attempts and desires to keep Yahweh's word. Do not heed it!!
Jeremiah 6:10 - To whom shall I speak, and give warning, that they may hear? behold, their ear is uncircumcised, and they cannot hearken: behold, the word of YAHWEH is unto them a reproach; they have no delight in it.
Jeremiah speaks of those who will have no delight in the whole Word (or at least certain portions of it), but one of the right attitude believes and heeds Yahweh's word no matter where or when it is written.
It is written..
Psalms 1:1 - Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the wicked, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
Psalms 1:2 - But his delight is in the law of YAHWEH; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
mmmmmmm.... A lover of the Word...
This is what Yahweh seeks in one's character.. Do they love His word?
If so, then He can know that they also love Yahushua... for He is the word.
It isn't about whether they outwardly keep the Sabbath, or the names, or the feasts, or whatever...
Do they love the word?
If so, Yahweh will lead them to His truth
In His timing
Psalms 1:3 - And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
The fruit will come
The leaf will not wither
Psalms 1:4 - The wicked are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
Psalms 1:5 - Therefore the wicked shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
Psalms 1:6 - For YAHWEH knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the wicked shall perish.
Seek the river brethren, for truly a judgment is coming.
Truly, today the waters are indeed muddied by men who teach that we need not heed all the commandments of Yahweh.
The line seperating the righteous and wicked, has been muddied.
But one day, Yahweh will make the difference manifest:
Malachi 3:16 - Then they that feared YAHWEH spake often one to another: and YAHWEH hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared YAHWEH, and that thought upon his name.
Yahweh listens to the conversations of the remnant. Those who think upon His name and have fellowship with one another have a special book written for them.
Malachi 3:17 - And they shall be mine, saith YAHWEH of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.
Yahweh has fed us pure water..bringing us truth and life.
Our Fathers have inherited lies and maybe we don't know or understand all things yet, but our attitude is going to account for something. Yahweh will spare the jewels as a man spares his own son who serves him.
Malachi 3:18 - Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth Elohim and him that serveth him not.
THEN the difference between righteousness and wickedness will be discerned.
For righteous judgement will come upon the earth
Many will say that they do serve Him, but it will one day be discerned who truly does.
Malachi 4:1 - For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith YAHWEH of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
Malachi 4:2 - But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
Malachi 4:3 - And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith YAHWEH of hosts.
(the least of the kingdom?)
Malachi 4:4 - Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.
Malachi 4:5 - Behold, I will send you EliYah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of YAHWEH:
Malachi 4:6 - And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse. .
Interesting that after Malachi there wasn't another prophet in the scriptures until Yahushua came.
And John the baptist.
And these are the final words... a warning of what might be to come.. to remember the Torah!
And verse 6 as a warning to turn our heart to our children, that they would know Yahweh Most High (See http://www.eliyah.com/family/ for details)
I'm not claiming to be "the EliYah", but brethren this generation really needs the message of EliYah.
Remember the Torah... Judgment is coming.. turn your hearts to your children. O Yahweh help us to do just that!!
Let our Mighty One be You O Yahweh, not Baal (Heb. lord)
So in all things, let's remember that whether it be through Moshe, or through Yahushua.. let's remember the standard given in the word of Yahweh, and the example revealed in Yahushua the Messiah.
And let us also remember to trust in the mercy of Yahweh where we may fail.
But let us not fail anymore!
Let's not say "Oh well" when we sin
Let's say "Oh no!"
Let's confess them before Yahweh. To confess means to "agree with".
1John 1:9 - If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
And if we have already repented, then we will seek His strength to overcome.
He wants us to overcome, brethren
He wants you to be like His Son
Yahushua the Messiah, the righteous
Therefore, let our hearts be tender before Yahweh... ready to be molded and formed into something beautiful and precious.. a special treasure for His glory.
Let's lay our lives wide open before Yahweh, for He knows anyway
Give everything to HIM
Let's set aside all pride, bitterness and hate.. rather, seeking the truth before Yahweh.
Let our heart be humble before Yahweh.
And in all things, let our attitude be right before Yahweh.
May Yahweh bless you and may He have mercy on us all!!
