Online Sabbath Meeting - Live Audio Broadcast

Live Audio Broadcast Meetings ASL interpreted*

Lacking fellowship? Join us every Sabbath at 12 Noon Eastern Time for an internet based gathering of brethren.

Since 1997, Sabbath meetings have been hosted every week on this web site. Although it isn't required, we encourage you to join the chat room while listening to the broadcast for fellowship and interaction with other believers in Yahweh. The chat room has been a continual source of fellowship for my family and I, as well as those who have no fellowship in their local area.

One blessing of holding meetings joining us in a text chat room is the scriptures are quoted in the room where everyone can read them. Also, there are various functions in the room such as the ability to search the scriptures, look up the Strong's Hebrew/Greek lexicon entries and have a random scripture quoted to you (Read more about these functions here).

The meetings now use RealAudio technology so that there is the capability for listening to a live internet broadcast. A dial up internet connection is all that's needed to listen to the meetings, broadband is not required. However, broadband users will be able to access a higher quality stereo stream.

The broadcasts are done from our home in southern Missouri and are similar in nature to a radio program. Each broadcast will typically contain the following:

  • Opening Shofar blast with praises to Yahweh.

  • Opening prayer by one of our listeners who call in.

  • 20 to 30 minutes of musical praise to Yahweh that uses the sacred names exclusively.

  • Scripture study on various topics, many of which are not covered on this web site.
  • Call in program where listeners can call in and ask questions, make comments, and interact with other listeners of the broadcast.

  • Praise Music is played at different intervals throughout this portion of the broadcast with live music on occasion.

  • Special time for prayer requests to be taken.

  • Closing prayer is offered with special prayer attention given for each specific prayer request.

You may also listen to the broadcast via telephone. Using conference call technology, anyone with a telephone can listen in on the meetings. To access it, you just need to do the following:

1) Dial (641) 798-4200 during the broadcast hours (Long distance charges might apply).

2) When it answers, punch in 8281156 # With your touch tone phone. Make sure you press the # (pound) sign after entering the numbers.

3) Ignore the request to announce yourself. In seconds, you'll be able to listen to the broadcast!

Audio broadcast meetings require a program that can play RealAudio streaming files. If you do not have RealPlayer already installed:

The audio meetings will not be a grandiose production. I'm just a fellow disciple of Yahushua with some things to share and don't see the need to imitate Hollywood.
Honoring Yahweh and seeking His ways will be the focus of the meetings.

*For the hearing impaired

An ASL video of the previous week's Sabbath meeting will be broadcast every Sabbath evening ("Friday night") at 9:30PM ET. Brother Gregory Ross will read from the transcript and will use ASL (American Sign Language) to communicate the message, as well as the phone calls after the message.

Questions can be asked in the chat room during the Sabbath evening video feed and they will be answered on the audio broadcast the following day. Thus, the following week's video will contain the answer in ASL.

Required Download

To listen to the audio broadcast meetings, you'll need a special program which enables you to hear the audio. If you already have RealPlayer, you already have what you need to access the live audio meetings. Simply click here during the meeting hours and you'll be able to hear the broadcast.

If you do not have RealPlayer installed on your computer, you can click here to download RealAlternative, a free program that plays RealAudio content but without the invasive (and often vile) features of RealPlayer.

If you already have RealPlayer and want to install the RealAlternative program instead, it will ask you to uninstall RealPlayer first.

If you still prefer to use the regular RealPlayer, click here to download it off their web site.
