#1MESSIAH is the name of the IRC channel and chat room devoted to discussing Scriptural and Spiritual truth as the topic of this channel often reflects. IRC is a type of Chat Network for internet users. Since 1997, it has been the place for Sabbath meetings on every Friday evening at 9pm Eastern. This chat room was started in October of 1995 and was changed to #MESSIAH to fit the guidelines of Undernet permanent channel service. Then in November of 1996, the channel was changed back to #1MESSIAH and moved to the DALnet IRC network due to networking problems on Undernet. After a series of other moves, the channel is currently on our own private IRC network and is accessible by Clicking here. Operators are EliYah, Berean, and BrBob. `Watchman is the channel "bot" (computer program) that controls all the user/channel modes and also can search and quote scriptures on demand. Topics in the channel vary greatly but generally center around doctrine in the scriptures. There is no official creed or doctrine on #1MESSIAH. Operators are non-denominational disciples of Yahushua and most viewpoints are welcome. There are usually people there every evening so feel free to stop by and join the conversations. It is a great way to meet other believers and be edified by great fellowship :)
