Introducing:
The HalleluYah Scriptures

"...You have received without paying, give without being paid"  Matt 10:8b

"For we are not, as so many, peddling the word of Elohim..." 2cor 2:17a

For years I've desired something like this and now Yahweh has provided:

A restored name bible that is FREE to those who cannot afford one otherwise.

Preview MattithYahu (Matthew) here

This was the original vision of the late Kris Koster, primary translator of "The Scriptures" translation, published in 1993.

For many years I have enjoyed this version, and while no translation is 100% perfect, I have often been impressed with its accuracy.

When I later found out that one could purchase them at "bulk discount" of $10 or more per bible, I was concerned that certain elements of capitalism (buy more, pay less) was involved in the pricing structure. I decided to become a distributor and offered them at my cost so that more people could afford the bible.

But now, there is an alternative: The HalleluYah Scriptures.

In agreement with Koster's original vision, a body of believers got together and decided to print an revised version of this originally free translation.

I am now offering the HalleluYah Scriptures through this site so that believers in Yahweh who are unable to afford His precious word can acquire a copy. My goal is that no one would lack a copy of the scriptures simply because they are poor.

So what is the cost of the HalleluYah Scriptures? The cost is whatever you can honestly afford--even if that means you get a free copy.

Of course, Yahweh's word is actually priceless so acquiring a copy should be a major priority in our life. But still there are some who are unable to afford a single copy such as those in 3rd world countries, those who are in prison, and the homeless or poor in our societies.

Minor Changes

There are some differences between the HalleluYah Scriptures and the 1993 version of "The Scriptures" published by Koster. They are as follows:

If you are unfamiliar with "The Scriptures" (1993) translation, the "old testament" books are in the order that the Jews currently place them--Torah, Prophets, Writings. Also, all names are restored to the original pronunciation. For instance, Jacob is "Ya'aqob" and Bethel is "Beyth El."

Request a copy

Before requesting a copy, there are a few things that you need to know concerning the original vision of those who published the HalleluYah Scriptures:

1) Please only order this bible if you intend to use it. Having it sit on the shelf is a wasteful use of resources. So if you are unsure whether or not you'll use it, preview the book of Wayyiqra (Leviticus) here and/or MattithYahu (Matthew) here. If at some point you quit using it, please give it to someone who will.

2) The primary vision of those who produce this bible is to get a sacred name bible into the hands of those who otherwise cannot afford it. If you can afford it, please donate so that others who cannot afford it are able to get a copy.

I can't think of a cause that's more worthy than than the distribution of scripture.

Why? Providing spiritual food is even more important than one's physical need. We do not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of Yahweh's mouth, so donating generously will pour eternal life into the soul of those whom Yahweh cares deeply about--the poor, the fatherless, the widow, etc.

Prov. 19:17 - He who shows favour to the poor lends to Yahweh, And He repays his deed.

Prov. 21:13 - Whoever shuts his ears to the cry of the poor, Let him also cry and not be heard.

I'm hearing reports that there are poor people in different areas of the world who prayed for years, and are dancing and weeping over being able to receive a copy of His precious word. To me, this cause gives all of us a good reason to call this the "HalleluYah Scriptures!"

May Yahweh's name be exalted as His word is proclaimed to all nations!
