Several things, the sabbath was not kept till the law of Moses, lest there is not record of it. Secondly the Rest that God enter into at creation was not a once a week rest. Hebrews speaks of His rest which is to cease from our own works mentioned in Romans 7. Next, nowhere were the Gentiles told to keep the Sabbath after Jesus resurrection which took place at 6 pm on Saturday. His resurrection started a new creation in Christ where we inter His rest (sabbath). It was Wednesday 6pm, the high sabbath of Passover Jesus was put in the tomb. 72 hours, 3 days and 3 night took Him till Saturday at 6pm, ending the sabbath rest and into His rest and being the first fruits. According to Ephesians 4:9,10 we first descended in the lower parts of the earth, then met Mary before He ascended to the Father and then breathed of His disciple on them receiving the Holy Spirit... on on the First day of the week. It was the Lord's day. Plus, Paul, one I have absolute respect warned us in Colossians 2:16, "So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths [plural, high sabbaths, weekly sabbaths, etc.,]which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ. NKJV
The substance is Christ. All those I know who keep the sabbath are dogmatic, divisive and certainly have not enter His rest as stated clearly in Hebrews

I was raised on the name of Yahweh and his son Yahshua. I am a strong true believer always have been and always will b. I have been waiting to join a sabbath day church in the name but dnt know of any in dis area nor do I know anybody whom believe in the name other than my family mother, aunts, uncles, etc. I would love to meet new people and have a place to come on the sabbath to help with the teaching and understanding for myself and my 3 boys.

Since there are so numerous translations, the nearest to the original autographs we can get the better.

All that said, my question (perhaps even for further research) is the proof --if any, that the book of Matthew was written in Hebrew first rather than Greek.

I know from my study of Hebrew that certainly Hebrew thought is throughout Matthew. Are there any texts or partial texts that are legitimate that have been found as of yet in Hebrew?

When I started to study the bible I began wondering about the 7th day. How should I keep it. Then one saturday when I woke up the power was gone in my apartment. But not all of it. There was still a lamp working in the bathroom. And one out of four plates on the stove was also working. I think it was a clear sign that it is important to remember the 7th day but also not to go to far. It seems it is O.K to heat up water for a cup of tea or something like that. The electrician was really astonished when he saw what had caused the "problem". He had never seen anything like it...

I need to chang my user name. Is there anyone who can asist me on how that is done?

In about a week I should be getting Roth's translation of the Aramaic NT (with Elohim and YHWH although the Aramaic is different). I'm looking for a Tanakh,(Hebrew or the Aramaic Peshitta) again using proper names for God. Your site mentions The Scriptures 2009. I've emailed the 'ISR' but only received a reply from a shop. The sample texts read well but I'd like to find out more about them; can you help? Also do you still sell the ISR Scriptures?

The septuagint is a fairy tale...that is, the so called original septuagint. even it's purported creation was done (if indeed ever really done) in violation of God's Word. Do you really think the Jews would put the words of God into an heathen tongue? they hated gentiles...wouldn't eat with them...speak to them except for commerce and war. soooo much wrong about this site.

Hi. Your teachings contradict themselves. God's grace is eternal and unconditional; not conditional on anything, not even my abilty to keep the law. Not even Jesus Himself teaches the law. Acts 20:21 "Repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ." No law is ever added to that. You bring that out so well in your own teaching of Galatians, but then you go back and add the law again. You are confused and are confusing all these people. I am praying that your eyes will be opened.
