minnisota,

I reviewed your Bible references and I cannot follow your reasoning about the year starting in the fall.

DT 16:1 Observe the month of Abib and celebrate the Passover of Yahweh your Elohim, because in the month of Abib he brought you out of Egypt by night.

EX 12:1 Yahweh said to Moses and Aaron in Egypt, [2] "This month is to be for you the first month, the first month of your year.

This states that the first month is in spring, not fall.

It does not say that the first month will now be, but just that it is. There is no evidence that it was anything other than the spring even before that time. If the reference to the last feast being in the end of the year is talking about a calendar year, then the first month couldn't begin until the eighth month, not the seventh.

Please give more precise references to support your perspective on things. None of us know much at all. We are all in the dark for the most part. To say that Yahweh has given me or anyone else the answers exclusivly is almost saying that I or anyone else is a prophet. We all see things from our perspective and want others to follow. I personally think we're all nuts. What if our whole perspective is wrong? I know I have been wrong quite a few times and I know that I cannot be certain about these things. Keep studying and be open to other possibilities.

Enoch

Some material that might be helpful in regard to the Jewish transition from a spring beginning to a fall beginning of a year is the Chapter 2 in the book by Qadesh La Yahweh Press. The title is "The Tishri 1 New Year Question." It is in the Adobe Acrobat PDF format and the link is www.yahweh.org/publications/pdf2/sj02Chap.pdf .

WOW!
MM, I read your post and my mouth literally dropped open. No exaggeration. That is amazing. I'll have to think about this, but I have some great ideas, especially about Tabernacles being in the third week.
Shalom,
Matthew
