: What is a 'National Day of Prayer', anyway?

: "Pray without ceasing."

:
: In Colorado Springs, it is now illegal to use profanity.
: What does Scripture say about enforced righteousness?

This indeed news to me. Can you tell me more? What qualifies as "profanity" under the statute? How is it enforced? What are the penalties, etc.?
"Enforced righteousness" is a fact of life, and power has been given to do so. But "by what standard", should we institute Law, by man's law or G-ds'? Today they "claim" a "Judeo-Christian ethic", and say that our laws were derived from Anglo-Saxon Law, British Common Law, etc., but "you shall know them by their fruits".
