: Clyde,

: I understand what you are saying. But in the Hebrew the terms El, or Elohim
: are used, such as Yahweh are El.....Or Yahweh the Elohim of Israel.
: Now I dont have the scriptures in front of me to get a direct quote.

: Now I dont go around saying...thanks El or Elohim for this or that.
: But thank our Father Yahweh...etc. Now in the Hebrew language if these
: titles are used how do you prose getting around what is there in the
: orginal hebrew texts? Now in my conservative Jewish synagogue that I
: attended in the pass...you may have a pray such as

: Baruch atah YHWH Elohainu melech haolam......

: ELohim is used in this text and in the scriptures how do you not use
: the words el or elohim?

: shalom,
: Tam

I do not speak Hebrew, however, El and Elohim were placed in the scriptures
by scribes who were not faithful to Father YHWH.

When Mosheh (Moses) and the children of Israyl came out of Egypt they did not
use those titles. Remember Father YHWH specifically told Mosheh that when
they go in and posses the land He was giving them, they were NOT to worship Him
the way those people worshipped their gods.

After the death of those early leaders, the Israylites did absorb the language of
the land. The scribes when they have to recopy the scrolls used the language of
the land. That is how El and Elohim came into the scriptures. Remember the "J",
"E" and "P" writers? All this can be found in the Interpreter's Dictionary of
the Bible.

All of that was said to say, when you see those terms you should have seen terms
like Father or Heavenly Father.
