Photos of EliYah & Family

These photos will take a while to load if you have a slow connection. The following photos were taken during our ministry trip in the summer of 2001. We went from our home in the Ozarks of Southern Missouri to New York state, through Washington DC, then to Florida and back home again. We covered most of the states east of the Mississippi River, sharing Yahweh's word, witnessing, baptizing, meeting and visiting brothers and sisters in Yahweh.

To the right is the beloved wife that Yahweh gave me, Elisheba. In 1989, when I first gave my life to Yahweh, I asked Him for a someone I could spend my life with. I met her 2 weeks later and we soon married. She is a blessing to me in more ways than I could ever count. This is a picture of us when we visited some families in Ohio. To the lower left is our dog, Brandy. She seems to have a way of inadvertently getting into our pictures :)

Here is picture of me with our daughter, Kara. She likes to be called KaraYah. She is usually all smiles. Her web site is here. This is a picture of us while in our RV.

This is a bit fuzzy picture of me with our son KolaYah. He was born in our bedroom with a midwife. Yahweh's power was truly manifested that day. Some day I'll probably write a testimony about it. His web page is here. Here we were visiting a family in Georgia.

In this picture, I think we were about to have "Sh'ma". Sh'ma is the Hebrew word for "Hear". (Hear O Yisrael, Deut 6:4) Sh'ma is what we call our daily worship and scripture reading together as a family. I believe that doing this makes a family stronger and closer to Yahweh.

This is one of the stops on the trip. I usually wear these glasses because contact lenses dry out my eyes while on the computer. I got a much needed break from the computer during this trip :)

Here we were visiting Washington, D.C. around the 4th of July. We witnessed to a lot of people during our stay here. A few we met had seen this web site. Notice my daughter holding on to my tzit tziyot (tassels). I probably didn't mention in my study that they also are a great way to keep track of your children :) The other girl in the picture is our niece, who came along for the ride when we were in Ohio.

At this booth I learned that if I only believed in "Jesus", I would go to heaven. Needless to say, I had much to tell the women who were running this booth. They weren't very receptive, but my heart truly goes out to them. For I do wonder, "Where are the men?" But then I do remember seeing some men playing electric guitars at the Christian rock concert just behind this booth. A few women were on stage too though, with at least one wearing a miniskirt :(

Here is picture of all of us while visiting an Elder in Florida. Overall, the trip was a great blessing for all of us.
