My family and I have been keeping Torah for the last two years. My wife and I have been married for five years and we presently have a three and a half year old boy and a nineteen month old girl, and looking forward with much joy and anticipation for our next pregnancy. For about the last six months we have been in the Yuma, Arizona area. We do our very best at keeping all of Torah including the feasts of Leviticus 23 according to the sighted new moon (Karaite) calendar as we observe the moon at our location (which we treat as a rest day). We also firmly believe that we are living in the last days and that Father has called us to search for the lost sheep, and right now we are in training to trust Him and get Babylon out of our lives. As such, we have sold just about everything and willing to live out of a tent (which we did for five months in Mexico and the first couple of months or so here in Yuma). We are looking for Father to direct us to where we should sojourn next where we can learn how to depend on Him more and I can lead my family. Because of our convictions, it is very difficult to work in the public sector. Thankfully, יהוה has placed us with a wonderful lady who runs a landscaping business. Unfortunately, there has not been enough work to allow us to completely support ourselves and she has done much to support us. We would like to have an opportunity to be self-sustaining and hoping that someone out there would be able to help us with true fellowship, a job, place to pitch our tent and more importantly growth in the faith, which would allow us to proceed in our journey with Father and fulfill our calling. We are called to sharpen each other and unfortunately our present condition is dulling us rather than sharpening. I have said that I would be willing to live under an overpass, and now that it has come to that time, I am truly scared to take my family to that place. Even if you are unable to assist us with the things mentioned here, please do pray for us or contact us for fellowship as this season in the desert (both physical and spiritual) has wore us down and need encouragement. I believe that was not necessary since it is the Ruach HaKodesh that draws men unto itself, not man therefore no need for sugarcoating pagan beliefs to attract new converts. I have found many like-minded believers since I have had this belief, and have since begun attending congregations that worship on and keep Saturday as the Shabbat and continue to observe the Jewish holidays never meant to be discontinued. Quick Answers about our Nazarene Faith
(These answers serve to give a simple introduction to our ministry, but they do not explain every detail.)
1. Do you believe in Jesus?
Yes, except we know Him by His Hebrew name, Y'shua, which was the name He heard while He walked on earth. To us He is the Messiah of Yisrael and Savior of the world.
2. Why do you use the Name Yahuwah instead of Lord and Elohim instead of God?
Just as we have a proper name, and like people to use it, so does our heavenly Father. In the Scriptures He tells Moshe (Moses) that His Name is Yahuwah (YHWH) Elohim. Yahuwah is His Name, and Elohim is who He is, the Mighty Ones (plural). YHWH is Echad, a term showing a singular plurality.
3. Are you Christians or Yisraelites?
Both, with qualifications. We are non-Yisraelites and Yisraelites who follow and love Y'shua, but our faith is built on the foundation of the Hebrew Torah, not historical church traditions or Jewish rabbinical determinations.
4. Do you accept the Scriptures as inspired of Elohim, including the New Testament? Yes.
5. Do you believe that Elohim works the same today as in Bible times?
Yes. He works whatever He wills, unhindered by time or space. If Elohim did it or promised it in the Bible, then it can happen today and at any time.
6. Do you believe in being "born again?"
Yes. Because of the sinful spiritual nature in all people that accompanies physical birth, a new creation of the human spirit is needed to fully relate to our holy Elohim. The act of new creation of our spirit by Elohim in us is in effect being "born over again." Y'shua our Messiah offers this to all who trust Him.
7. Do you believe the Torah of Moshe is valid today?
Yes, as a standard for righteousness. All Torah remains valid for practice if the circumstances remain available. For instance, Temple laws cannot be performed without a Temple in place. However, the principles and shadows found in these remain useful. The Torah is for protection and instruction, not perfection.
8. Do you believe we should all keep the Seventh Day Sabbath?
Yes. We proclaim that from the time of creation Yahuwah set aside sundown Friday to sundown Saturday as a gift of physical rest to us. We should accept the holy gift gladly.
9. Do you believe we should all eat only kosher?
Yes, according to what is the plain Scriptural instruction of what animals may be consumed. We do not believe that it is required or even necessarily helpful to be restricted to a rabbinically approved kosher diet.
10. Do you believe in the Holy Spirit?
Yes. In Hebrew, Holy Spirit is Ruach HaKodesh. Elohim is spirit, which is breath in Hebrew.
Breath is life. Elohim is life. The Ruach HaKodesh is Elohim continuing daily to perform the miracles of bestowing holy life upon the hearts of receptive people.
11. Do you believe in the gifts of the Ruach HaKodesh, like healing?
Yes. With Elohim nothing is impossible, ever.
12. Do you keep all of the Jewish Feasts?
Yes, we celebrate the holy feasts, which are the Feasts of Elohim, not just the Feasts of Yisrael,
as a "memorial throughout your generations forever." But of course, without the practice of
Temple commandments.
13. Do you keep the Christian holidays, like Christmas and Easter?
No. We only celebrate scripturally commanded holy days. Neither Christmas nor Easter are the
actual days for the events they propose to celebrate. We, rather, celebrate the actual days of the
birth and resurrection of Y'shua, which were already scheduled in the Feasts of Elohim.
14. Are you Yisrael?
Yes. We belong to Yisrael with all those who keep covenant according to the instruction of the Elohim of Yisrael.

Description: We believe Yahweh to be a family consisting of Yah, Yahweh the Father, and Yahshua Yahweh his Son. We believe them to be two separate beings, but are one in thought, mind, and love by the Holy Spirit. Gen 1:26, and Gen 19:24, shows this duality of beings. Deut 6:4, also states "Yahweh Elohim, Yahweh Echad" (united, supreme). This word echad in the Hebrew shows a duality of Yahweh. We believe that Yahweh the Father is greater than Yahshua the Son, (Jn 5:30, Matt 19:7) in both power and Authority, but commands us to honor Yahshua as we honor him (Jn 5:23).
We believe Yahshua to be the Messenger of Yahweh in the Tanach (Old Testament) Is 42:1, Ex 3:2, Gen 18:1-33 Ps 110 1:7 Ps 45:1-8, Ps 2:1-7, and also the very Son of Yahweh (Pr 30:4). The Hebrew word "Malak" which is translated into English in most cases as Angel, literally means Messenger. Even men are referred to as Malaks (2 Sam 11:19). Yahshua was the Malak of Messenger of Yahweh, but not as an Angel (Heb 1:5,13) but as Elohim (Jn 1:1-13).
We believe all humans to be sinners waiting to be judged to eternal damnation for our sins (Ro 3:10-20, Ps 5:19, Ps 10:7 Ps 14:1-3). We believe that in His love for us while we were yet sinners (Jn 3:16, Ro 5:8) Yahweh sent His only Son Yahshua, the Messenger of the Covenant to die for the penalty of our law breaking, and took our legal code of Debt (Col 2:14) away and nailed it to the tree at His death. We believe that through repenting of our sins, and believing in Yahshua's sacrifice for the forgiveness of those sins, and being immersed (baptized) in Yahshua's Name, and having hands laid on by an elder for the imparting of the Holy Spirit, that we go from death to life, and have our sins forgiven and the death penalty removed. By repenting, we must totally turn from our old sinful nature to the nature of YHWH.
We believe that we are saved by grace through the covenant of faith. There is nothing that we can do to earn our salvation. A good act cannot annul a bad act (sin). Only by accepting the blood of Yahshua to pay our death penalty can we be saved.
We believe once we are saved that we must walk in newness of life (Ro 6:1-23), and sin no more (Lk 13:1-5, Jn 8:11), and obey Yahweh's Torah. We are not obeying Torah to be saved, as accepting Yahshua's blood for our sins already saved us. We keep Torah to please our Heavenly Father, and it teaches us right from wrong (Ps 119:105). We believe keeping Yahweh's commandments shows Him that we truly love Him (1 Jn 2:2-4), this includes the third commandment of not changing YHWH's Name.
We believe and observe Yahweh's Sabbath day, as honoring Yahweh and Yahshua as creators of the universe, and believe it to be a sign of Him and His children (Ex 31:12-19). We also honor His Holy appointments with us in Leviticus the 23rd chapter, as they show His redemptive work He is doing with mankind through the blood of His Son.
We believe a true believer in Yahshua will be known by his fruits (Matt 7:17-23), and by his true genuine love to others (Jn 13:34-35). A true believer will even love his enemies (Matt 5:43:48). A true believer will sacrifice and give to the poor and needy, and care for the fatherless and the widow. He will not covet money and other worldly things but will have his heart set on serving Yahweh and heavenly things. He will not be condemning to others, knowing he needs the Father's grace, and will always forgive others even if they wrong him. True love is the most important characteristic of the true believer, not some form of knowledge. A true believer will be a slave to Yahshua, and will share his salvation with others (2 Cor 5:14-21). The kingdom of YHWH and not mammon will be first in his life (Matt 6:24,33).
We believe that Yahshua is returning to earth for a literal 1000 year reign, and His kingdom will continue forever. We believe those faithful, will be resurrected from the dead, and will reign with Him as Kings and Priests on the earth (Rev 5:10). The wicked will receive eternal damnation. At His return, He will also unite both The House of Judah and the House of Joseph into one (Ezek 37). We believe that the Father is still working with the Nation of Israel, and as believers should be focusing on calling back the lost sheep of the House of Israel. When someone of the Nations comes to faith in Yahshua and is immersed in water he also becomes part of the seed of Abraham and an heir of the Kingdom. | Avondale, AZ, USA |
