Joshua died last night. Thank you for prayers for him. His family will need your continued prayer for them, not only for strength to get through this, but that their faith in Yahweh will not fail, neither their marriage. Also that they and Joshua's grandfather would not torment themselves with guilt.

The Scaff's are brethren we worshipped with in Florida.

Has anyone read a good article on why terrible things like this happen for no apparent reason or why the Almighty doesn't prevent things like this?

Shalom,
John

John,

I don't have an article or such to help ease the pain of the family who lost their young son, however, I believe comfort can be found in scripture. 10 years ago when my father-in-law passed away I believe Yahweh spoke a verse to me to help explain why.

"The RIGHTEOUS perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, NONE CONSIDERING that THE RIGHTEOUS IS TAKEN AWAY FROM EVIL TO COME." (Isaiah 57:1).

Yahweh, in His wisdom has seen to ALLOW this child to be taken from this world, quite possibly sparing him (and others?) a much worse fate in the future. We don't know why, all we can do is answer, "Yes, Yahweh. Your will be done."

My prayers are for the family and you and you ministry to them.
Yahweh bless,
Jeff Tyler

I do not know why such a precious one would pass on, in such a way.
I do not know why storms rage in the manner they do.
I do not know why pain and suffering comes.
I do not understand why.

I do know the One who's arms are open wide,
I do know the One who calms the storms,
I do know the Comfortor,
I understand His love.

I know there is one who came to kill, steal and destroy,
but I know too there is one greater who holds eternal ife in His hands.
Know that the wicked one would have you look to him,
for he seeks to destroy, to spread fear, anger, guilt and shame.
Know our Redeemer who stretched forth His arms, and died,
and alone can carry this pain.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for thy rod and staff, they comfort me.
Long ago, YHWH lost His precious Son, HE knows the pain and the anguish, and wishes for you in this time, to look to HIM, for HE cares for you.

May you receive comfort also in the manner in which King David did, knowing that he would again see his son. (2 Sam 12)

Job knew your pain, and a precious thing YHWH showed me was that rather than asking YHWH why, he learned to answer YHWH, no matter why, I will trust YOU.
Job 9:12 Behold, he taketh away, who can hinder him? who will say unto him, What doest thou?
Job 23:2 Even to day is my complaint bitter: my stroke is heavier than my groaning.
Job 23:3 Oh that I knew where I might find him! that I might come even to his seat!
Job 23:4 I would order my cause before him, and fill my mouth with arguments.
Job 23:5 I would know the words which he would answer me, and understand what he would say unto me.
Job 23:6 Will he plead against me with his great power? No; but he would put strength in me.

May His love and mercy strengthen you in your time of sorrow. May HE give you the garments of praise for the spirit of heaviness.

May the words within this Psalm be of comfort:
Psa 116:1 I love YHWH, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.
Psa 116:2 Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.
Psa 116:3 The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.
Psa 116:4 Then called I upon the name of YHWH; O YHWH, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.
Psa 116:5 Gracious is YHWH, and righteous; yea, our Elohim is merciful.
Psa 116:6 YHWH preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.
Psa 116:7 Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for YHWH hath dealt bountifully with thee.
Psa 116:8 For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.
Psa 116:9 I will walk before YHWH in the land of the living.
Psa 116:10 I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:
Psa 116:11 I said in my haste, All men are liars.
Psa 116:12 What shall I render unto YHWH for all his benefits toward me?
Psa 116:13 I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of YHWH Psa 116:14 I will pay my vows unto YHWH now in the presence of all his people.
Psa 116:15 Precious in the sight of YHWH is the death of his saints.

Continuing to pray for comfort for all,
Tamar

To John,

Would you be able to pass this on to this family?
On 1st day, May 15, I received a prayer request. A young man of YHWH was violently murdered.

Enclosed are two conversations I had with her.

Shalom,

I am pleased to announce that the young man that murdered my nephew is in custody and is being held accountable for this senseless tragedy. I want to encourage all of you that YHWH works in mysterious ways and that His ability to comfort in the midst great trial is incomprehensible. He is an AWESOME and MIGHTY Elohim who is greatly worthy to be praised! He has thwarted the plans of the enemy and is esteeming His set-apart name by doing exploits of loving kindness and tender mercies amid my family day by day.

My brother, who lost His firstborn, has come to receive and confess Messiah. He has come to understand and accept His unfailing love and the horror of this tragedy has brought Him to understand the fear of YHWH. My nephew did not die in vain and the AWESOMENESS of Abba YHWH is truly working in the mother who lost her only son as she has opened up her arms in love and embraced those around her to comfort those grieving her son. She has asked that we celebrate His going home and has offered thanks for the time she had because she says she had the best son heaven had to offer. For this she is proud and has entrusted her son back into the bosom of Avinu Malkenu.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I wrote her and shared with her, the prayer requests here, and asked should YHWH lead her to do so, to do according to Scriptures:

2Co 1:3 Blessed be Elohim, even the Father of our Master Yahushua Ha Moshiach, the Father of mercies, and the Elohim of all comfort;
2Co 1:4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of Elohim.
2Co 1:5 For as the sufferings of Ha Moshiach abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Ha Moshiach.
2Co 1:6 And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.
2Co 1:7 And our hope of you is stedfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation.

The following is to the Scaff family:

Sis Tamar,

Please feel free to share my testimony with this family as you see fit. Only YHWH knows our beginning and our end. You are absolutely right that we must be stewards and watchmen over our families (physical and spiritual).

I don't know why certain things happen but I will share with you the conversation that I recently had with my brother who has lost two children, his firstborn son and a daughter that lived for six minutes.

My nephew was violently murdered because he opened up his home to someone who decided to rob him and end his life by stabbing him to death 48 times. My nephew was 20-years old, in college working two jobs and expecting his first child. He was a very giving young man and greatly loved. The person he opened his home to was the brother of a close friend who was living in a van.

My brother said to me when talking about the senselessness of his son's death that Messiah also died a violent death. Yes, our Messiah died a most violent death and so did his talmidim. My brother said to me, "He (Messiah) did not have to die that way but he chose to." "I believe He chose to die so that we would believe." This was his confession to me. With that he began to talk about the fear of YHWH. His focus was on the fact that the perpetrator did not apparently have the fear of YHWH. My brother said to me "can you imagine what this world would be like without the fear of YHWH?" Unfortunately, I can. I also told him that it was time for him to stand in the gap for his family and pray in the spirit so that the enemy does not try to snatch away any more of his babies. He agreed. I also must say what Satan meant for evil YHWH has turned and has esteemed himself in a seemingly impossible situation. YHWH reigns!

These tragedies remind me of Yob. I don't question why Elohim allows certain things to happen. But I believe in all things He is just and merciful. I believe He knows our beginning and our end. I also believe that He will allow our bodies to be removed to save our souls. I don't believe that YHWH brings calamaties upon us -- not even to test us. I think that our Abba is often blamed for events that are completely against His nature.

All I can say is YHWH loves us with unfailing, uncompromising, perfect love. His desires are for us to live in love, peace and beauty. His desire is one of harmony and shared compassion -- He does not tempt us or deal with us unjustly. I believe that it is up to us to walk in His provision and protection. We must continue to be watchmen over our lives and our families and those whom we touch. We must pray without ceasing and daily nurture our relationship with our Abba. I know that darkness has no fellowship with light.

Many terrible things happened to Yob, although he was a man who was upright before Abba YHWH. Unfortunately his very relationship with our Abba is what provoked HaSatan's wrath. We must rejoice when we are counted worthy to suffer for Messiah. How great was His suffering for us! The love that we have towards our children and familes pales in comparison to the love Abba YHWH has towards us for we are His children and the work of His hands.

Our pain is His pain - He has not appointed us to pain but to love. Let us not focus on the water or the raging storm. Let us keep our eyes stayed on Yahushua and enter into His Shabbat (rest). Yahushua is our Sar Shalom.

One final thought, it is not Yah's will that any should perish but that all would come to the knowledge of His Mashiach. That being said, when the enemy seeks to destroy it is better that bad things happen to good people, for our Abba holds them in His hands, than for bad things to happen to bad people because their souls would be forever lost. This is not the wisdom of the world but a perspective beyond this world. YHWH is not a respector of persons, we are all His creation and His love is so great that He was tortured and died that the WORLD might be saved.

This is a most difficult subject, I pray that these words are received in the spirit that I intend. It is not my desire to offend or cause hurt to anyone. I just believe that the depth of Yah's love is something we cannot comprehend.

Respectfully,
Hephtsibah

Baruch Ha Shem YHWH!

Dear Brethren,
I mourn with brethren who are mourning. I always feel the agony of losing a special person, specially when it is untimely death. I pray for those who are afflicted and that the spirit of Yahweh be upon His people touching the lives of everyone and that His will be done that they may be comforted.

Just a few experiences we had experienced too in the family. When we were in one of the Xtian Sabbath keeper group, we thought that it was just the group we were to die for, no longer to waive for any. My family was so active and supportive to all projects, the fact that my sisters were singers of the said group. My oldest sister was a primary teacher of the said congregation and got married to the same guy in that faith. In the process of time a firstborn baby boy was born. Both of the families love so much the first child. One day the child got sick and my sister for almost 2 years didnot receive her salary as primary teacher, went to seek assistance from the school officials. She requested for the payment of 2 years unpaid salary to be able to send the boy to the hospital, but nobody in the office gave her attention, so the child died.It was just frustating and we thought and asked, how come these people who seem to teach the Scripture do not care for the lives of their brethren? That was the reason to quit the group and finally cool off, but continued to search until we found out that the we are supposed to know the Real Name of the Heavenly Father and the Son...it needs a death of a firstborn to be able to come out from the Egyptian way of worship, though we had the Sign(Sabbath), but we donot have the Real Seal of Salvation (Prov. 30:4;Rev. 14:l).

Everything works together for good to them that love Yahweh. We cannot question the death of anyone as long as we are not the reason of the evil cause. (Yochanan), John the immerser of Yahshua, was also murdered? Why? it was during the time already of Yahshua. The scripture said, we are given always the talent to discern, the spirit to know the move whether it is Yahweh's or not. Did John forgot to follow the instruction? Is he not guided by the Holy Spirit? Of course he was guided, but there is one thing that John did not consider and wasn't afraid to lose his life for the Truth sake. It was his attitude to straightly put Herodias to open shame...so it was because of the evil adultery of a woman that he lost his head.He could have refrain his tongue from telling those words to be able to lengthen his days on this earth, but I firmly belived that John was just following Ezekiel 3:17-19.

Yahshua died in the right appointment and schedule which was His destination. He was born to die in Father Yahweh's will. He lost his life in order that many can find the True life.

Another reason we may learn is that giving heed to what our parents always remind us. First of all Abba Yahweh is our First parent and Yahshua who love us so much wrote all the instruction for us to be able to learn Yahweh's way.

One of the Canadian brethren asked me when I was in Canada, he was an Xtian baptist before when I met him with a believing wife. He asked, if your "Yahweh is love, how come he allowed the children in Africa die in starvation and diseases?"

First of all, we have to pray for the guidance in answering these questions, allowing the spirit to be in each and everyone to discern...

As Yahweh liveth, His words will not be broken. He said that we have to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. Where are the neighbors of these African children? why do they suffer? had Abba Yahweh left humanity without instruction? Of course Abba Yahweh never been happy of the nations attitude, NOBODY Cares. I have read some reasons of democratic countries why they stop sending aid to other countries with starving children, it was because of insecurity that communism will spread because the leaders uses the food aid from demoscratic countries for barter of the ammunitions to spread terrorism.
But Abba Yahweh never never instructed leaders to war and fight to each other, His instruction is to LOVE ONE ANOTHER, feed them that are hungry, give them drink those who are thirsty.., if thy enemy hungers, feed him/her..."

What about the young who was murdered because of giving a place of certain friend? In this wicked and pervert generation, we must be always alert and aware of satanic instruments. Our emotions sometimes deceived us, all we thought it was right, but it wasn't. When I was in USA, I staying with couple whom I considered my second parents. They took good care of me and when I was left alone in the house as I was stranger to the place, my good mom said, "ana never allow anybody to get in the house when you are alone, even he is an Elder, Deacon, stranger, never..., if he/she will insist to get in....call these numbers..." I do believe what she said was wise because that was also the instruction of my Dad when I was in my country. It was part my parents' training when I was a child.

The Proverbs says, train up a child the way he should go, for when he is old, he will never depart from that...."

Lately, there was unpleasant things happened in my neighbors, a 5 year old girl was raped by a 13 year boy. Everybody was so upset and wanted the boy to be sent to jail and wait for time when he will be 18 to die in lethal injection. The parents of the girl asked" why did the almighty allowed these to happen? Was it the fault of the Holy spirit ? not able to protect the little girl? NO of course, when the boy was asked, why he did such evil? He answered, he thought it was just the ordinary thing to be done because he saw his mother doing it with another man, he saw his sisters doing it with young boys, he saw these in the internet, movies and he saw these things over the TV. Who then to be blamed? The police man who interviewed the boy realized that there was something wrong with the environment of the boy...."

So finally brethren, let us all pray and mourn for the sins and repent for whatever we have done that Abba Yahweh will hear from heaven. He said" If my people will humble themselves and pray and seek my face, then I will hear from heaven and heal their land ....." Yahweh hears the prayers of the righteous.

Yahweh bless and comfort everyone through Yahshua our Comforter.

Lovingly,

AYH
