Some of you may recall a prayer request I made months ago, about a little girl who may have been molested by her father. Since then the situation has escalated in that her mother "fears for the safety of her child" and prevented the child from going anywhere, my grandmothers house, church, anywhere. This "fear" also coincides with the welfare money she's been recieving for the child.
Today the reports came back, and the stories matched up, she was not molested. She had crawled into bed with her father while he was asleep and not clothed. This matched her statement of "Daddy touched me once." The next and last accusation was that daddy touched her with his fingers, this was to see if she had an infection after swimming in a creek a few days prior to the incident!
In the end the only one wronged in this situation was the father, being that no one would really believe him until the reports and tests came back. Now he is at the court house seeking custody for his child, to protect her from her mother. In living with her mother the child has had lice for about 4 or 5 months now, spends many days confined to her room for silly offenses, and isn't allowed to visit her grandmother who has pretty much raised her the past 2 years, and can't go to sunday school, something she loves, or see me! Someone she's obsessed with! This 4 year old's mother has outrightly admitted she is using her for welfare and foodstamps, and is hardly even at home with the girl, she leaves her with the neighbors. So please pray that YHWH protects this little girl, not now from her father, but from her own mother! And pray strength for the little girl, why would the adversary be trying to bring her down so and keeping her away from me, the only believer in my family, if she wasn't of the remnant and called by YHWH!
