I am asking that we all pray that the Mexico Trucking Program be stopped. Let me go on to say that this is about safety for The American Public first and formost.
Many are not aware that the Mexico Truck Driver does not have to take a CDL Driving Test to get his license, he/she also does NOT have to undergo a D.O.T. Physcial, they do NOT have to have a drug test done.
Mexico Truckers don't have to follow any kind of rules, such as driving only 11 hrs a day or any of the D.O.T. rules that apply to American and Cann. Truck Drivers.
In fact the Mexico Truck Driver can have a Criminal History and yet he/she is given a CDL license and can carry Hazmat (Explosives and such) material.
Not that I want to get into politics or anything, but President Bush is pushing for the Mexico Trucker to run all 48 States. Thus, this is putting the American Public at risk.
Congress and the Senate have voted against this and have placed bills in action against this...President Bush has said he will Veto any and all of their bills, as he wants the Mexico Trucker to run the U.S.
Please pray with me that this does not happen!
Please let me state that I am not against the Mexico People, yet I do feel that since Our D.O.T. WON'T/CAN'T be allowed to enforce our laws and rules on these Truck Drivers, the American Public will suffer with many many more deaths on our highways. It has been clearly stated that the Mexico Goverment Can't communicate with our D.O.T. on their (the Mexico Truck Drivers) as they don't keep any records on their drivers like the American Driver and Cann. Drivers.
I believe if they are in our country driving then they need to be made to follow our laws. Period, no if's and's or butt's about it.
Since this can't be done.......they shouldn't be here.
Please pray with me that the Mexico Truck Driver is kept out of our country. If they are allowed in our country to haul the "American" loads, not only will safety be a big problem, but you will also see, many more of our Companies/Jobs leaving the U.S. and headed for Mexico. Thus this will affect you, me and our families.
May Yahweh Bless,

Shalom,
After much thought and prayer about my posting, I've began to wonder if this isn't just another sign in the "Big Picture" of things to come. Not just because it's in the U.S. but I wonder if this is just one more thing along with several other things happening around the world to other's and their countries; If this isn't just one more thing showing us that we do indeed live in the last days before Yahushua returns.
Update:
The Mexico Trucks are now ALLOWED into the U.S. So it's in Yahwehs Hands.
Meanwhile:
Safety Tips for traveling on the road with Trucks.
PLEASE, Never pass an 18 wheeler on the right if possible. (You could be in his/her blind spot. IF you can't see the person Driving that Truck in their side mirrors; I PROMISE you WE can't see you or YOUR CAR.)
2. When merging onto the Highway; please remember in Most states that 18 wheeler is going slower than most traffic, so you'll be up on the back end of that Truck Before you know it. (There have been tons of accidents where cars have ran right into the back end of the Truck.)
3. Trucks are painfully slow at building up speed. (Even I dislike following a Truck when it's first starting out....lol well I'm honest.) This is due to the fact of the weight. It also takes that same Truck more time to slow down.....So please for your own safety; When passing a Truck, Please, don't cut right back in front of the Truck without a least a min. of 1 Truck lenght or more, this could save your life and anyone with you if for some reason you have to make a sudden stop. (Deer, Elk, Cow, Dog, ect.)
4. Did you know if a Truck blows a tire and you're following too close it can come right through your windshield? A truck tire has a min. of 105 lbs of pressure, put that with 55, 65, or even 75 miles an hour (plus the rate of speed you are traveling) and that's a deadly piece of rubber flying your way.
5. Night Time Driving. If you see a Truck with it's 4 ways on, a few things could be going on. The Truck could be moving as slow as 35 miles an hour, you will gain on him/her in nothing flat, or it could be a broken down Truck, it could also mean he's at a dead stop, that an accident is ahead of him/her, that you can't see. Just be careful and be Alert.
These are just a few things that I never thought about (and they don't teach you in drivers ed) when traveling with Trucks on the road; until I became a Truck Driver many years ago.
May Yahweh Keep Us All Safe.

[/B]</font> Hello Annette, Thanks for the great advice. Any more you can give is welcome. I get so nervous driving by the big trucks. They seem to have a mindset that I think people who have never driven truck need to understand. We need to understand what is involved in maneuvering those 18-wheelers. Thanks so much for sharing.....becky.....it is sad to hear about the Mexico truckers....Yah be with us and with you, always.....becky

dot purpose is not your or anyone else's safety... ha has using it to control ...without question it is part of the new world order. i.e. dot is far worse threat and much higher costs for uandme than any number of drivers.
