I have heard some interpret the passage to mean that only combinations of wool and linen are prohibited, while others have said that it means any mixture (such as cotton and linen, etc). I know that Judaism usually follows the former but I also know that they have been wrong in the past according to the LORD, not that this means they are wrong, but that it just means we shouldn't automatically assume they are right. Also different translations have rendered it in both ways, so it is not so simple as just the plain text. Without further ado, I was hoping for some input regarding this, so which do you think it means? Or does it mean something else entirely?

fwiw, when I wear shirts made of cotton plus something else, it seems to affect me/my skin adversely. Like irritating, uncomfortable against the skin.

btw, even 100% cottom, made in china, has caused a vast amount of problems in the united states. -requiring doctors' visits for some. The 'source' is reported to be formaldehyde or a similar chemical THAT DOES NOT WASH OUT IN THE LAUNDRY. (it may or may not come out if soaked in water with vinegar and baking soda for 20 to 60 minutes). Whatever the chemical in the clothes made in china is - it causes rashes / itching / on the areas that the clothes come in contact with. The doctors FREQUENTLY do not alert to it - they just prescribe expensive drug-creams/oral-meds/injections per their practice.
Seeings as the childrens TOYS from china are notorious for containing toxic chemicals on the surface / paint, this is not something to just be ignored. Test everything as able.

As for Leviticus 19 and Deuteronomy 22, keep it simple - the scholars are not to be trusted. Find a simple honest word study / appraisal / translation by someone who knows Hebrew ancient language, customs, and who abides is and with YHVH in YAHSHUA. As for myself, I think He means what He says. (If it is different because of translation, I hope He is able to correct it in my/our lives). Yhvh is Perfect and Loves and Delights to give us who joyfully trustingly obey Him and walk with Him His Kingdom and experiential knowledge of all Truth.
