Yhwh didn't say to ask why someone did something. If they broke the law, they paid the price.
If they were guilty, no one was supposed to defend them. (the american system of justice is not only NOT justice, but very very very far from it).

Americans are taught lies and deception from birth(even starting before birth if you care) and then all of their lives.
