Was wondering about what deep psychology is at work around this holiday time. It's like a drug. Then I noticed that Ohio State has just bought a new coach to whom they're going to pay an outrageous sum of $$$. Found the following quote....
"Ohio State in late November 2011 looks a lot like Ohio State in late December 2010 when Tattoogate broke. The program, the university, the town and the coach are chasing the football high that must be satisfied." http://www.cbssports.com/collegefootball...yer-has-relapse Does the fact that their stadium is in the shape of a horseshoe provide any insight? So what are "church people" chasing at the stores, that started last Friday? What's going on that they're obsessed with that has to be satisfied with feasting, partying, shopping from Thanksgiving onward? Is it just the drug-like high that puts them into a stupor?
Rev 18:3 "For all nations have drunk the wine of her passion........"
And from a response to this, an email from a friend....
"How quickly people become obsessed with all sorts of things (hobbies, art, work, whatever) and how we seem to use practically anything to keep us from looking at the very things that most need our attention.....
"You shall love YAHWEH your Elohim with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind." Deuteronomy 6:5Given that 99% of religion doesn't observe the 10 Commandments, it makes all of it a cult, Judaism included. As they add their own to the Torah.
Rom 10:2-4 "For I can testify about them that they are zealous for Elohim, but their zeal is not based on knowledge. Since they did not know the righteousness of Elohim and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to Elohim’s righteousness. Yeshua is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes."btw - I live across the street from the fire station. On a normal day there will be 3-4 sirens. Last Thursday it was all day and night.
