In terms of various ministries, I was wondering if it might not be a bad idea to have discussion concerning these three words that are not very well understood, and often interchanged. Shalom

Yahweh does the calling...We are chosen...BUT we are not saved yet....Just as we have been grafted in...We can be cut out....

Rom 9:15

For He says to Moses, "I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion."

Here's another translation that makes this passage clearer

Romans 8:28-33. Explains this nicely.

You are " saved " the moment you believed upon Yahshua the Messiah, your name is written in the Lamb's book of life. Their is nothing you have done or ever will do that can seperate you from the " LOVE of YAH ". Let every thing that has breath Praise YAH !

Ephesians 1:4-5 For HE chose us in Messiah before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in YAH'S sight. In love HE predestined us to be adopted as HIS sons through Yahshua the Messiah in accordance with HIS pleasure and will.

Yahweh Shavaot is the GOD in complete control. Yah calls, Yah saves, and Yah chooses. Praise Yah!!!

In tulsa oklahoma, it is difficult/impossible(humanly) to find someone else who is saved/free from deception.

Watchman Nee with Yahweh's Wisdom and Grace pointed out at least 3 things to be saved from - I think "flesh", "power of sin", "world government/society", and "power of ha-s.t.n"...
----that's 4, I know, but that's the gist of it...

phrmk has deceived the WHOLE world. governments, chruches, teachers, bankers, students, chrstains, buddists, farmers, frogs, dogs, and cats !!!(I.E> EVERYONE!!!)

finding someone anywhere "saved" is sheer blessing, sheer grace, in MESSIAH Ha-Mashiach . . .

Yeshua was asked why he taught in parables. He responded, "So that they would not understand and might be saved." Obviously that meant that many would not be saved, even though hearing and believing(believers) the word, but not saved. Saved for what? What did hearing the word mean in terms of being called a disciple? The rich young man who asked what he needed to do and was told, "Follow the commandments." Did it mean giving up everything to become martyr? People have responsibilities that cannot be met by becoming an all out disciple and giving up their all for the sake of the Kingdom. They have to compete in this world and pay bills, provide for families, etc, etc as opposed to living a very restrictive life a la Paul and take off on suicidal missionary journeys. So are all those who cannot live such a live not part of the Body of Messiah? Or does the Body of Messiah consist of those loyal and obedient to Torah, and others who are able and willing to give and exercise much more who and who are in line for ruling with Messiah, aka, 144,000, without being ladened with a guilt trip by various cults? And what about those trapped in various denominations of xtianism, who are ignorant of the Divine Names and the Torah, but practice the "weightier matters" eg, mercy, justice, charity, even though they have not been instructed in Torah, but do things by nature of it? Will they be "called out" to be part of the Body, or called to be of the 144,000, or called by virtue of being a remnant of Jacob who are being given light in the end times who will survive Jacobs time of trouble as did the Hebrews coming out of Egypt?

It's a lot simpler than that.
Just do what the widow did - i.e. give what the widow gave, totally trusting ABBA and only ABBA for sustenance .... simple and true.

How would you apply "called, chosen and saved to her?" And was she a disciple or merely a believer or follower?

can you not see. the disciple, follower, faithful in Yahshua claims nothing for himself? How far have we fallen from grace that we do not live daily as He says?

John 17:6(below) seems to be of special significance. Messiah did not go around proclaiming the true name of Elohim in defiance of Jewish prohibition, but only to a select group who are of a different class of believers - were all called to this class? Obviously not. Were they all especially chosen to be part of a Royal Priesthood? (1 Peter 2:9) Obviously not. Were all baptized into becoming Israel thru Messiah when they already were part of Israel? Obviously not. The Body has many members. Is this what they were called to and to be used according to their various gifts? So have we all been called out of the world and/or called to the Body of Messiah or is the Body a special class and everyone else merely saved from the lake of fire as in "All Israel will be saved?" I seek deeper understanding rather than a few quotes and an insult.

Hebrews 6

1 Wherefore, having left the word of the beginning of the Christ, unto the perfection we may advance, not again a foundation laying of reformation from dead works, and of faith on God,

2 of the teaching of baptisms......,

You won't get deeper/any understanding without giving up your life.(no, not at all taking or ending your life, for those who might read in passing; yes, being immersed in Yahshua's Life without even a thought for self)
If you're living as true and simply as watchman nee did, as the ekklesia in communist china are, then you would have realized you weren't be insulted at all.
When Yahshua says "Come, Follow Me", He allows you to go back to the farm, or to the relatives funeral, or to the "business that has to be taken care of" if you chose to....... you know the Scripture.
