I do not wish to get into politics as one invariably is led to taking sides. But imho, all are guilty and the US is in line for punishment for rejecting YHWH, and all that he has instructed. If anyone is having suspicions about the goings on in the natural world, it seems to me that the judgment on America is unfolding- indeed upon the entire Earth. Isaiah makes it clear Judgement will be for the whole world not just America, many speak as if America holds the only sinners...not so! The whole world will face the Judgments, and one day we all will stand before him in Judgment....I can't look at my fellow neighbors and say well do they show any sign of repentance with an almost they deserve what they are getting attitude as I would be a hypocrite as I once was where they are....until YHWH lead me to Himself through His word....I came out of the darkness and into the light...if we grow cold like a little barbecue briquette, how will they see the light they need to come too?

i don't think the events on earth at this time and following are Yhvh's Judgment.
they may be troubles and trials to give some an opportunity to return to Yhvh (to turn around their lives; to repent),
but
according to Scripture, even when/if ONE THIRD of mankind perishes, the rest of mankind doesn't even give a thought to Yhvh nor of returning to Him - they go on shopping and marrying and partying, headlong towards destruction without a hesitation even.
a few, somehow, Yhvh's Way, may turn to Him for Help and Trust and Obey Him.
but most do not.
but it is not Judgment yet, i think; but warnings in perfect love as only Yhvh and those in Yhvh are able to understand or even just to see.
