shabbat shalom Robin,

welcome to EliYah's discussion forum... I think EliYah mentioned that he is organising a women's forum soon, I'm not sure though... will ask him today in the chat room. It is something that I'd like to join and share

Robin,

I used to make this for my family's Christmas party but we still have it this time of year because it's nice when it's cold outside and since it has all kinds of fruit juices and it's warm it's nice if you have a sore throat/cold even with the red hots in it. I still will make it and take some to my family.

Cinnamon Cider Recipe:

1 1/2 quarts apple cider
1 quart cranberry-apple drink
2 cups pineapple juice
3 / 4 cup red hots or similar cinnamon candy
2 tsp whole cloves (I put mine in a metal tea ball)
Cinnamon sticks (optional)

I mix all the juices in a stock pot and then add the cloves in the tea ball and the red hot candies. Then I turn the heat on like medium low and keep stirring as it heats up and the red hots melt. The longer you let it simmer the more concentrated it will get, so it will get sweeter and hotter from the candy, so just simmer it to your own taste. We don't like it too sweet.

The original recipe is made with a percolator if anybody would rather have that recipe.

It makes the house smell nice while it simmers and we also sometimes put citrus slices and spices in water and simmer them on the stove.

Shalom,
Renae

Thank you very much. I would be very interested in this. It is so hard to find fellowship with woman.

Thank you for the recipe. I will try in this week. I only have a stock pot . So this recipe will do. I do not have a perculator.

Thank you

Robin,

We like to use the apple cider that's in the produce section or refrigerated, like it's pulpy or something, not the stuff that looks like regular apple juice. But if you try it use what you want. I hope you guys like it!

Robin,

you can join as a separate member. Its okay if you do, or not, I just wanted to let you know. Its kind of disconcering to see your husbands name there and you sign off as robin, or say, "its so hard to find fellowship with women." I did a double take when I read that one!

Shalom,

angeL

yeah, robino, you don't need to be sorry! ~C:D it's really not a problem. I was only letting you know, just in case you didn't.

Glad you are on here as yourself.

Shalom RobinO,

I too had to take a "double take" because of the name GregO. lol. Made me wonder, if your name as a woman was Greg. I do know a lady who's name truely is Kevin, so I wasn't sure until I seen where you signed at the bottom.

Glad to have you here on the forum. I hope the Woman's Forum does get started (nothing against the men) but it would be neat to share "girl things" with other ladies.

May Yahweh Bless,

I am looking for fellowship as well. That is how I found Eliyah.com in the first place. My dilemma is that I have one friend who is a true and faithful believer at work, but he's a "he"...awkward! His place of worship is over 45 mins from my home so I cannot fellowship easily with his congregation.

I live outside DC and work in Balt. And I found this site (Praise YHWH). I have learned so much on this site. I print the studies and read them during my train commute. I have much work to do in my own walk to be the faithful servant for The Father that I know I need to be. It would be helpful to have someone to talk to about things.

I like to do crafts and decorating as hobbies. I like to cook, but I am not much of a baker, though. I am a divorced mother of 5. I love animals, I love people, and I love Yahweh!

hey Robin, that may well sound like some hecate rebellious woman advice - but still - be a woman that is pleasing to Yahushua, then that should be also pleasing to your husband, if he's in the right mind. Just my advice...dont misunderstand - but if u are honest and sincere in seeking Yahweh's path + if u obey the command or rather said advice that Yahushua gave ("put me first, above everything and everyone, even your own life") - then u cant really miss behaving the way u should... and then it should be pleasing to your husband as well... I think at least.

Blessings, Anayah

Here's the recipe for the Lemon Mousse Cake that A makes sometimes:

1 pkg Betty Crocker SuperMoist white cake mix
1 1/4 cups water
1/3 cup vegetable oil
3 egg whites
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 ten oz jar of lemon curd
2 teaspoons grated lemon peel

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease bottoms only of 2 round pans, 8 x 1 1/2 or 9 x 1 1/2 inches, with shortening or spray with cooking spray.

2. Beat cake mix, water, oil, and egg whites in large bowl with electric mixer on low speed 30 seconds. Beat on medium speed 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally. Pour into pans.

3. Bake 8 inch rounds 27-32 minutes, 9 inch rounds 23-28 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean and center springs back when lightly touched in the center. Cool 10 minutes. Run knife around the sides of pans to loosen cakes; remove from pans to wire rack. Cool completely, about 1 hour.

4. Beat whipping cream and powdered sugar in chilled medium bowl with electric mixer on high speed until stiff peaks form. Fold in lemon curd and lemon peel. Place 1 cake layer, rounded side down, on serving plate. Spread with 1 cup of the lemon mixture to within 1/4 inch of the edge. Top with second layer. Frost side and top of cake with remaining lemon mixture. Store loosely covered in refrigerator.

Even though the topping is made with whipped cream mostly it isn't a heavy cake. But it can be rich. We don't have it very often, once maybe twice a year. And since it's refrigerated it's nice and cool on a hot day. It's a nice spring/summer cake.

We can find lemon curd at Wal-Mart Super Center.

Shalom,
Renae

Hi,
I am Tamar. I write songs to praise Yahweh and to edify the body....I know how difficult it can be....I am not close to any female that worships Yahweh and Yahshua, but I do have my husband and son.....thank you....Yahweh.....But, I feel strongly that Yahweh does want us to all be of one mind and spirit. Some of these songs were written a very long time ago. I never thought it would be so comforting to me. I had written them for others....but I find....as my walk continues on....it is also very comforting to have these songs.....I hope that they bring comfort to all my family in Yahweh and Yahshua. I posted them on
congregationofyahweh.googlepages.com So far about six have been posted. There are about 30 or 40 more.....I love Psalms....don't you! Shalom Tamar
