Robin,
I used to make this for my family's Christmas party but we still have it this time of year because it's nice when it's cold outside and since it has all kinds of fruit juices and it's warm it's nice if you have a sore throat/cold even with the red hots in it. I still will make it and take some to my family.
Cinnamon Cider Recipe: 1 1/2 quarts apple cider 1 quart cranberry-apple drink 2 cups pineapple juice 3 / 4 cup red hots or similar cinnamon candy 2 tsp whole cloves (I put mine in a metal tea ball) Cinnamon sticks (optional) I mix all the juices in a stock pot and then add the cloves in the tea ball and the red hot candies. Then I turn the heat on like medium low and keep stirring as it heats up and the red hots melt. The longer you let it simmer the more concentrated it will get, so it will get sweeter and hotter from the candy, so just simmer it to your own taste. We don't like it too sweet.
The original recipe is made with a percolator if anybody would rather have that recipe.
It makes the house smell nice while it simmers and we also sometimes put citrus slices and spices in water and simmer them on the stove.
Shalom, Renae

Robin,
We like to use the apple cider that's in the produce section or refrigerated, like it's pulpy or something, not the stuff that looks like regular apple juice. But if you try it use what you want. I hope you guys like it!

Robin,
you can join as a separate member. Its okay if you do, or not, I just wanted to let you know. Its kind of disconcering to see your husbands name there and you sign off as robin, or say, "its so hard to find fellowship with women." I did a double take when I read that one!
Shalom,

yeah, robino, you don't need to be sorry! ~C:D it's really not a problem. I was only letting you know, just in case you didn't.
Glad you are on here as yourself.

Shalom RobinO,
I too had to take a "double take" because of the name GregO. lol. Made me wonder, if your name as a woman was Greg. I do know a lady who's name truely is Kevin, so I wasn't sure until I seen where you signed at the bottom.
Glad to have you here on the forum. I hope the Woman's Forum does get started (nothing against the men) but it would be neat to share "girl things" with other ladies.
May Yahweh Bless,

I am looking for fellowship as well. That is how I found Eliyah.com in the first place. My dilemma is that I have one friend who is a true and faithful believer at work, but he's a "he"...awkward! His place of worship is over 45 mins from my home so I cannot fellowship easily with his congregation.
I live outside DC and work in Balt. And I found this site (Praise YHWH). I have learned so much on this site. I print the studies and read them during my train commute. I have much work to do in my own walk to be the faithful servant for The Father that I know I need to be. It would be helpful to have someone to talk to about things.
I like to do crafts and decorating as hobbies. I like to cook, but I am not much of a baker, though. I am a divorced mother of 5. I love animals, I love people, and I love Yahweh!
