Thought I'd start a Pets Photo Album where we can share photos of our pets

Please share a photo (or video) of your pet/s, and their names...

Here is a video of Nova, I just recently officially adopted her

(yes, it's the same bunny that I was holding in the other Photo Album thread)

<embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/olPnXaQaQtM" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350"> </embed>

p.s. in the video, I signed, "hello, I (have) cute rabbit, have-a-look" in Auslan (Australian Sign Language)

awwwwwwwwwwww, what a cutie! bluesun has a nova!! LOL!

i have to ask, is that a real rabbit? It never moved! What a placid bunny!

here are a couple pic links to see my pet, we share her with my mother, so it's "shared custody!"

this is daisey at her favorite place, beside the window where she can watch all the squirrel action outside. She hates them!

http://s14.photobucket.com/albums/a326/reader_/?action=view&current=daiseyatwindow6.jpg

this is daisey on the couch yelling at us to stop taking her picture.

http://s14.photobucket.com/albums/a326/reader_/?action=view&current=variouspics127.jpg

Daisey is a Lhasa Apso, she is almost 4 years old now.

Shalom,

that's a cute dog you have there, chosen! thanks for sharing smile

she looks almost like a scottish terrier, my favourite kind of dog smile

yes, Nova is real... it's rare to catch her sleeping like that! It was a hot day and I think she was exhausted from my chasing her earlier on hahaha

actually, when we first looked after her, she was really scared and I had bleeding arms from trying to pick her up!! My dad had my mother ask the vet if it's normal for her to be "feral"... (the vet replied "female rabbits are usually cranky") haha She's improved a great deal though, not as scared, but still fiesty in some ways smile

Here is another vlog to prove to you that she's indeed real... smile

I took it today - trying to put a lead on her and take her for a walk smile

bluesun, that was the funniest video of you and the rabbit! LOL! We laughed so hard when nova was running around the yard with you!!!

Here are a few other pic links of daisey. The puperatzzi will not leave her alone!

this is daisey with pony tail holders on her ears, it was not a look she appreciated as much as we did!

http://s14.photobucket.com/albums/a326/reader_/?action=view&current=daiseyhatesus.jpg

this was one of daisey's more peaceful moments, she was unaware of the puperatzzi just around the corner!

http://s14.photobucket.com/albums/a326/reader_/?action=view&current=rubmybelly.jpg

this is daisey trying to fool the puperatzzi, does it work? NO!

http://s14.photobucket.com/albums/a326/reader_/?action=view&current=swaddleddaisey2.jpg

daisey is modeling a bow

http://s14.photobucket.com/albums/a326/reader_/?action=view&current=db1c6343.jpg

daisey is wearing a jean vest, very chic!

http://s14.photobucket.com/albums/a326/reader_/?action=view&current=c740fad1.jpg

enjoy,

Bluesun, that rabbit is funny! They sure can be wiggly!

Angel, it is easy to see that you have a lot of enjoyment with Daisie...isn't it fun to spoil our pets? So cute!

Just want you to know I only have two dogs now, all of the others have passed away (most from good old age) that album makes it seem as if I have my own kennel! I still miss my little Shilo the most, she was a sweet little Queenie, but she was blind at a young age and developed epilepsy as she aged, but still, she had a wonderful life of camping, swimming, hiking, catching frisbees and lived to 13.

Nearly all of the dogs shown were rescues, the only way to go.

I often wonder what kind of wonderful pets we will have in the next age.

thank you for sharing, czygny... I love your animals! there are lots of beautiful shots of them... I'm surprised that cats can go camping and hiking!!! I'd never thought that they can do that!

How did Ginger show up at your place?? do you live on a farm?

I notice that there are a lot of blue heeler and cattle dogs, they are popular in Australia... do you live in Australia?? I am sorry to hear about Shilo. YHWH has blessed us with precious memories of our pets. Praise Yah!

I laugh at the picture of your cat playing with the puppy

here are my favorites of your collection:

Jake looks a lot like our blue-heeler, Nippa! (she passed away 2 years ago at age 17)

Bluesun,

Thank you for your lovely remarks, I love sharing my pets!

I live in California, on a small 5 acre ranch, but surrounded by wild hills and green pastures.

I have rottweilers now, but I still love my queenies.

Yes, Ginger arrived the day before Thanksgiving five years ago. No body claimed her even though we ran found ads in the paper and put signs up around the area.

With the exception of Shilo, whom I purchased as a pup, and Reddawg, who was her pup, the rest of them are all foundlings or rescues. That beautiful Harley was my worst case of abuse I have ever tried to rehabilitate. I had to have him put down after a year and a half of care. I still miss him. He would have been perfect for me all the years I lived alone.

Cats can be trained to do many things, if they are started when they are young. The are not as much fun camping, though because they don't like to go on long hikes and they'll start complaining. Dogs will go all day (and then some)!

Nippa was a very pretty dog. Was she a Queensland or an Australian Cattle Dog? She looks alot like my Jake, who was ACD. Nothing beats their intelligence and loyalty, or their inexaustible energy! I still have a cactus that Jake chewed up when I first brought him home, over 15 years ago, that has never fully recovered!

Shalom bluesun,

Daisey can sit, and she will let you shake her paw, she is in the process of learning how to shake on command. I'll let you know when she is done learning.

Lhasa Apso's are originally from the Himalayan country of Tibet, and were the sole property of the dallie lama. They had to be able to stay warm in that icy, snowy, and very cold climate, so they have lots of hair, even between the toes on their paws!

thanks for the funny videos, becky... the dogs and cats look like they are talking!!

czygny, thank you for sharing your pets
Nippa is an Australian Cattle Dog, we call them "blue heeler" here... I just did a google on it to make sure and came across this website with details and cute pictures, in here --> http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/australiancattledog.htm

angeL, I'm looking forward to the update on Daisey being able to shake on command... no wonder why her front paws are fluffy, being from Tibet!! thanks for sharing

hi YHWH's blessed child,

you just need to join a place on the internet where you can put your photos in your private online photo album by "uploading" photos from your computer into there. Afterwards, when your photos are in there, you are able to copy and paste into here...

I use photobucket, it is www.photobucket.com

Once you've joined (it's free), you can click on "upload" and select some of your photos to go in there, each picture has ready-made codes where you can copy/paste the code into here and the pics will pop up in here...

or, you can just type the code,

[ img]www.photobucket.com/susan'splace/photoofmydog.jpg [/ img]

the above is just an example (you need to take away the spaces for it to work).

If you are unable to follow the instructions and it gets too complicated, let me know and I can take snapshots of the photobucket instructions and post them here step-by-step to make it easier for you (and others who are using it for the first time).

I'd love to see your pets' pictures
