Hello and Shalom to all. I'm new on this forum so I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Schell (my family calls me Sarah) and my husband, 10 year old daughter and I live in southern IL. It seems Yahweh has been closing doors for us here and we are possibly looking at moving. Our daughter has been really craving fellowship as of late and we feel it is very important that she have others around that keep the feasts, dress modestly, etc., especially the older she gets. There is a possibility that my husband may have a job interview in the Springfield, Missouri area. We've checked the fellowship finder and I know that Eliyah is "near" Springfield and we're not sure of others in the area. (We tried e-mailing but didn't get a response; we possibly did something wrong!) We desire to be in a fellowship with others. Have any of you moved because of lack of fellowhip for your family? If there is a fellowship in or close to the Springfield, MO area, could someone let us know? My husband also may have an opportunity in the Columbia, MO area. We have attended Yahshua's Assembly in Messiah (Rocheport, MO) in the past and just loved it so that is also in our sights. We only want to do and go where Yahweh wants. Thank you all!

I have a question, which is sort of off topic, and me just being a little curious... )

I have noticed there are a lot of believers in MO. Is there a particular reason for that? Were some of the first people who believed this way (sabbath keepers, Torah following, etc) in MO? Just wondering.

We live in WV, and will probably be here till we are put in our graves, but we are very willing to travel, and also to have people come out and visit us! Homeschooling makes traveling and having visitors very possible. We are not tied down to a school schedule. I think it's important that kids get to be around others who believe the same.

Hi! We live near Buckhannon, West Virginia, which is sort of central in the state. Where are you? ) We are slowly meeting more people open to the faith, it's awesome. We actually have some friends staying with us until they find an apartment, they have moved into the area, and we have friends that come down once or twice a month from Pennsylvania on the Sabbath for fellowship. We all sit together the morning of the Sabbath (actually noon Sat.) and my husband plays the audio meeting, and plays the chat room screen through our projector, on the wall so everyone can follow along with the scriptures. Everyone brings food for a nice communal meal afterwards. It's really a nice time.

We now have a few families in our homeschool group that are asking me questions, private emailing me, about our faith and beliefs. There are many people out there who are just so weary from Churchianity and most know in their hearts that they are supposed to be following the Torah.

We are moving for Fellowship with some Of yahweh's people. Right now it seems that it is Missouri though we are not sure yet. We just know that we are moving from FloriDUH soon.
We have Saanen goats for milking, thus I guess we are breeding and raising them. Have been for almost 2 years. We keep The Shabbat and celebrate The Feasts of Yahweh according to His calandar. We agree with everything on this site i.e studies and teachings, as far as we know. we enjoy the Shabbat meeting here on eliyah.com. the audio on the afternoon of Shabbat is Wonderful.
We ignore all commercial/pagan celebrations/"holidays." ALL of them.
We have always homeschooled and have 4 children so far.
I are coming to Kansas City for The Group of Guys Meet meeting on 11/6 & 11/7 next week that is mentioned on another topic here and on www.MessiahLife.com. We are very excited about it and we feel and see Yahweh moving His people closer together now, and has been in various places around the world forever, but it seems that He is moving many people together now all over. Do what Yahweh says and hear Him, in The Name of Yahushua, The Messiah. HalleluYAH!
Sincerely,
Curtis Tucker @ 904-318-3917

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, and curious on-lookers,
I am finally able to get to some posts, responses to e-mails and the like, thanks be to YHVH, on the A Group of Guy Meeting that took place in K.C. 11/6 & 11/7.
The A Group of Guys Meeting meeting was Good.
There were about 10 of us that celebrated The Feast of Tabernacles together this past Feast and we were communicationg about having a meeting so we came to K.C. from corners of the U.S. as well as Iowa, Illinois and Missouri, and we stayed overnight at the Microtel Inn. By that night at about 8pm there were 20 more guys from around Missouri that had heard by way of mouth that there was a meeting there, making a total of about 32 guys plus some children and wives, HalleluYAH. The Microtel Inn staff kicked us out of the meeting room at 10pm for having too much fun, sharing too much Love and making too much noise. Maybe it was more for the latter reason than the former reasons.
I think there were about 10 to 15 guys there that are ready to throw our resources together and purchase some land as soon as YHVH shows the place He wants us to be. And these 10 - 15 guys are ready and sure that it is happening within the next few months.
We all greed to pray about the idea daily, and create and come to a chat/prayer room here on eliyah.com everynight at 9pm EST.
A surprise to me was that we agreed that the land should not be deeded out to each individual (family, person, etc...) but stay as one piece of property and we should divide it amongst ourselves as we agree and that it stay as 1 parcel of land on the "books" in the county.
We agreed that decisions should be unanimous on neighborhood type events or issues always agreeing to follow The Kodesh Scripture and come to unanimous agreements to include all adults over a certain age like 25yrs. to include men and women, of course.
We agreed that a close watch on who comes into the land co-op should be one of the unanimous issues, always following The Kodesh Scripture but that oppressive restrictions or requirements were not of YHVH our Elohim.
There are many more things to sift and shake out, many meetings to have and many details to iron out.
We agreed that this is not just happening here with this group as just 1 group but it is happening all over and even within this group there will probably be 2, 3 or 5 groups move closer together while some people in this group probably will not move at all, yet, if ever. YHVH knows best and it is up to us all to hear Him.
It looks like we might plan a Group of Guys Meeting at the end of "Dec." and/or the beginning of "Jan." in Missouri for about a week and celebrate a couple of Shabbats together and study some things together like the calendar and such and even look at some land together YHVH willing, only by His leading and provision. Pray about it and seek YHVH's will with Truth and Humility, please.
Please pray for everyone. And this is for everyone to come together for this time as families.
We might be able to be together in the cabins at the Discovery Ministries where the people there are becoming more interested and inquisitive about what YHVH's people are Truly about. HalleluYAH!
Please PRAY for us.

Sincerely,
Curtis & family

Shalom Sarah,
My husband Fred and I hope to be moving to the Springfield area soon. We have made an offer on a piece of land just north of Mansfield, Mo. and there are others looking to move to that area also. Yes, we are moving to have fellowship with others of like precious faith. The piece of land we are buying has adjoining pieces for sale as well. Our # is 906-644-7639 if you would like to talk.
In His service,
Fred and Beth Gatzke
