Heather,
I was wondering how to get into contact with you? Do you ever go to the Sabbath meetings here on Fridays? I hope to "see" you tonight, or next Shabbat.
Thanks,
angeL
PS I am not "angel" in the meetings.

Dear truthtreker duane, I wouldn't be too concerned with being involved with others. For starters, it's a crazy world filled with crazy people. This ain't June and Ward Cleaver's world anymore and opening doors too wide these days is just asking for trouble, IMO. I'm on the sunny side of forty and lament that this world bears no resemblance to the world of my childhood and its only getting worse with every passing day. Well, that's all part of the social engineering and operant condition we're be subjected to by the Powers-That-Be, IMO. Secondly, we can't all be social butterflies and extroverts. I've been a hermit for a good long while now. It's not the hoped for IDEAL, but one gets tired of being a voice crying, "Prepare ye the way", etc. Besides, YHVH is better sought and experienced in the wilderness, because the city is just too dang noisy! 10 out of 10 Biblical Prophets say so! Yep, there goes another car driving by my house with speakers thumping at full blast. "Play it louder kids! Maybe you'll be able to drown out YHVH speaking to your soul, eh?" Pfft. Whippersnappers! Long story short? I can relate to much of what you wrote! [This message has been edited by smadewell (edited 04-14-2006).]

Hi Heather! Wicca/New Age stuff, eh? Wow. I post on a message board that has a lot of paranormal folk there. I feel closer to many of them than I do the dogmatics I've encountered in the Church or the wonderful whacky world of Messianisms (plural). Of course, they don't really care to hear anything I have to say about the historical Yeshua either, but that's pretty the norm for every board I've been to. LOL! Seems like I've always been the odd person out and numbered myself among the disenfranchised members of the Fringe. I wish the Holy Spirit would do a lot more knocking on people's heads. Glad your husband's going with the flow. Always nice to have a partner to work in tandem with ... or at least one in tow.

Hi Stew! I was stationed in Newbury, England, for 3 1/2 years with the US Air Force. Loved the country! Hated the duty! Did my share of church hopping there. Mostly hung with "Full Gospel" types, but ... they weren't too much into hearing about the historical Yeshua, so I mostly kept to myself. If I could have afforded to live on the economy after the Air Force drew us all down and gave us the left foot of fellowship ... I'd have stayed in England, but alas. I doubt seriously at this point I'll ever make it back there, but the memories will last a life time. Cheers!
