I've been reading a new book called "The Top 100 women of the Bible." by Pamela McQuade.

It really surprised me how many women really played (sorry about the use of the word played, but I didn't know what other word to use.) such a large part in Yahwehs Word.

Some of the Women I've so far read about were even leaders; (like a queen) this really surprised me. Of course there are some who where very bad too.

So far I've really enjoyed reading about them in this book. I've learned a lot about the women. The book also tells where they are and what chapter and such in the Bible.

Now mind you this is nothing against men by no means, just surprised me at how many women, (and this book says it's only the Top 100 women) really are mentioned in the Bible.

Just another tid-bit, I found this book in a Truck Stop. I do find a lot of my books (Religious or Christian ones for a lack of a better way to explain them) in many Truck Stops.

Now that I've learned so many things about Yahweh and Yahushua I find it interesting, (although I've been buying these types of books for years, because I was searching for the truth.) to see what they have to say about things.

I've now gotten over the fact that not all books, infact very few are going to mention Yahwehs name let alone Yahushuas. And even though I don't care for it, I'm learning to replace their names in my mind when I see the Words L*rd and G*d. But I still don't like seeing these Titles used for their names. It's still such a struggle for me, as I was decieved for so many years from their wonderful truthful names.

Adalore...I'm interested in what book you found about women in the word.
I also love reading books on women of the word. There so encouraging and up lifting and makes me want to press on in Yah. Yes, your right about the unkosher names that these books use, but you know what regardless, you can still get the true meaning out of what your reading, because you know the true name of our Father above. I do the same thing, and just change the name as, I read these types of books.

The women I really love to read about in the word is Hadasah, what a worrior she is and unselfish women...to be given the responsibility to take on a burden for her people and humble her self and call on a fast not just her but every israelite and handmaidens around her. So humble. So full of faith. A women that found strength in Yahweh. They that know Yah shall be strong and do exploits! What an example of fervent prayer and persistence!

Adalore have you ever heard of Joy Haney? Shes a preachers wife and has written many books, shes a christain women, but she's filled with the Spirit of Yah and I know she has something special in Him. This women knows how to pray in the spirit and get results in Yah. She wrote a book, "When Ye Fast" very tov book. Also
"Living in The Miracle Level" You can search this on the enter net under her name and find these books. Very encouraging down to earth and with many experiences on how the Father Yahweh has given her victory over lost, pain, suffering, sickness, depression, fears and doubts etc. I've bought many of her books and they have helped me through out my walk in Yahweh. Till this day I can still go back to these encouraging books and praise Yahweh for them.
