Hi
I am intrigued by unschooling. I think the name is misleading because it tends to make people think non-schooling. It is an intersting concept that children are curious and learning by nature (I would say all their lives if not suppressed by a system that quenches such attributes) and that a teacher is a facilitator in that quest for knowledge.
I am now homeschooling my 12 year old and our #1 quest is to master the use of the awesome brain that YHWH has given him. Not fill it with answers and trivial facts but to exercise it to operate at it's highest capacity. Information can be found and with ease since the internet but the abilty to process that information and use it prudently is another matter. Much like torah without spirit!

I have little ones and am very interested in homeschooling but am not sure where to begin. Also have very limited funds. Any info given would be extremely helpful.

I have been homeschooling now for 3 years and must say that it has and continues to a journey that I am blessed to be on.
There are many websites out there that you can download curriculum for free and also search the web for homeschool support groups in your area. Chances are there will be a free curiculum fair with other homeschool familes at a local library.
some stes to try are
www.messianichomeschool.net
www.edhelper.com
www.schoolexpress.com

I pray this is of some help to you
