Shabbat Shalom!

I wanted to share the joys and blessings of this Sabbath Day.

I have a dear friend who lives in another state, but we once both lived in Texas and that is where we met. We have been prayer partners since 1991.

We set aside Saturday mornings to call each other, share our lives, read and discuss a passage of Scripture, and then pray for help and guidance in various areas of our lives.

Today the Scripture study was very relevant to my need for the Proverbial Attitude Adjustment. Each evening, when I get home from work, my home is quite hectic because there are several dogs all wanting food, to go outdoors or get out of kennels, and they are barking, and I confessed that I was starting dread coming home, and starting to feel resentful towards the dogs. My friend was able to give me a meditation about our pets to do on my drive home.

I have also set out in our backyard enjoying the portion of Yah's earth that I live on and the abundance and beauty of Yah's creation. I've also enjoyed a nature walk over to my sister's home, and a visit with her.

Hello, Mariamne,
I, too, went out into my back yard this morning. I had looked out the kitchen window and spotted a rose that I went out to pick for my vase. When I went out, it was so beautiful; the sky was overcast, a few drops of rain falling, the air smelled clean, some rays of the sun were trying to peak through the clouds, and hummingbirds were flitting about. I felt His deep-seated peace and joy so strong at that moment, and thanked Him..........becky

Shabbat Shalom!

It's August 16, and already it's a lovely day to enjoy Yah's beautiful and miraculous creation. My husband has already gathered a bouquet of gladiolas from his garden for me. But I chose to give them to my wonderful, giving neighbors, as a blessing to them.
