We are told in Exodus 30:30 that this annointing oil containing the supposed sweet calamus, is HOLY and to be used by Aaron and his sons, that they may minister to YAHWEH in the priest's office.
We are further told, Exodus 30:32, that it is not for to be poured on a man's flesh, niether shall we make any other similar to it. For it is HOLY.
