This past feast of weeks was the first time my wife and I have celebrated the scriptural feast, known as Pentecost or Shavuot or Feast of Weeks.
We had a small group over to worship YHWH and prayed his will be done and his kindgdom come in our meeting as in heaven.
We worshipped and prayed for about 3 hours when suddenly the Spirit fell on us all and we all spoke in new languages as the Spirit gave utterance. One young man was heard speaking in Hebrew. Another young man who is studying the Hebrew roots of our faith, and so studying Hebrew names and prayers, picked up on it. The young man speaking had never studied Hebrew before.
We are not sure what other languages were spoken, as we are not linguistic experts. However, it was like the house of Cornelius how spontaneously it happened while we were meeting, and 100% of us were affected.
Of course, to those of you who fear such manifestation, let me assure you that we test the spirit. Not only is the manifestation scriptural, but the experience led us to further devotion to YHWH and his Torah - as we were celebrating the commanded feast in accordance with Torah. Also, unanimously we discerned the Holy Spirit gave us utterance and there was no counterfeit - as would not be expected as none were seeking wrongfully. Actually, I don't know we were seeking such at all - the Holy Spirit willed it.
And, for those who think, what good is speaking that people don't undestand - see 1 Cor 14 and understand that prophecy was much more prevelant in the meeting, which is normal. The occurance this post is about was only a minor thing concerning the time it took in comparison to the whole meeting. The prophecy was to comfort, exhort, and edify one another as the Spirit gave utterance (it wasn't premeditated or thought) and we all rejoiced in the Word of YHWH.
Truly, YHWH is ever active on earth through his Spirit and Word, revealing himself to those who seek him with all of their being. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. He is still pouring out his Spirit on men and women and is still giving gifts as he wills. He has not ceased.
So, we praise HIM as the ONE worthy of ALL honor, glory, power, and praise! HalleluYah!

HalluluYah! For HE is my shield!
