About three weeks ago, on a Thursday night, I noticed a sore spot on my pointing finger on my left hand. There really wasn't anything visible, I figured it was a fiberglass splinter; I get them often when I mess around in my husband's shop. So I prayed over it, thank YHVH for my healing and went on. I work as a janitor at night, I always have some kind of glove on my hands. That night my finger was very irritated, so I assumed it was from wearing the gloves, I put some iodine on it and a bandaid before I went to bed. I claimed Isaiah 53:4&5 and praise YHVH for my healing.
The next morning, my finger had swollen a little but was extremely sore to where any kind of movement was very painful. We had a delivery to make that morning. I couldn't let a little "splinter" keep me from helping my husband.
I praised YHVH on and off all day and thinking on Isaiah 53:4,5, all the while my finger was in pain. I put a bandaid on it, and went to work that night. I took extra to have a change; by half way through the shift, I ended up putting duct tape over the last one to keep it on. When I got home, I had to have help to strip off the tape. My finger felt like it was on fire and had swollen tremendously! In my mind said, "well this is just a bad reaction to the latex on the duct tape"; so I believe that's what it was, because it had happen before (just not with duct tape, latex on J&J brand of band aids, which I don't use anymore). So Kelly got a pan of almost scalding hot water with some iodine, and I let my hand soak. He bandaged it up with gauze, stood in agreement with me that I had my healing, and we went to bed.
Over the weekend I lost sleep, and my hand had swollen so much, that by Sunday, it was puffy with dimples where the knuckles should've been. I couldn't move my finger at all at this point. Kelly knew that it wasn't a splinter, he went on the internet and looked up the effects of the brown recluse, but he didn't tell me.
Monday, while at work, I was praying, and I started to waver. I started to doubt, and then I started to cry. I prayed that I wanted my Father to be my Physician, I know one of His names is YHVH Rapha (I believe I spelt that right). I thanked Him for all the times He had healed my family before.
All the while, I thought that the "splinter" was infected under my skin and I couldn't get it out. I've had little medical situations that I've dealt with before. I've seen YHVH, come through; this shouldn't be any different. After praying, deep inside I knew that I received my healing, and that everything was going to be just fine, I text Kelly. The pain wasn't as bad, but I felt enormous amount of pressure. Kelly called me and asked me all these different symptom questions, then that night when I got home, he showed me some pictures of spider bites, but didn't tell me of what kind of spider. I said "hey that looks just like what I got", I was relieve that I didn't have a fiberglass splinter, just a spider bite. I've had one on the back of my hand that was horrible; spiders are like that.
The next morning after the hot soak, Kelly started to apply pressure to the backside of my finger, and I knew that it was going to be unbearable, but I've been through this before with spider bites; after about five minutes, Kelly was able get the venom out, and Praise YHVH! I was able to move my finger! Kelly fixed another hot soak for me and that's when I saw the bullseye that I've heard some in my past had talked about...the only thing was, there wasn't any black, any where. I had this bite for six days and it had not progressed.
It is a miracle.
Kelly was amazed. He told me he was looking to see if a certain symptom showed up, and if it did, he said he would take me to the E.R., but it never did. He said he wasn't going to put my faith out with the pictures he had seen. He was fighting fear all the while. When I was at work, he always called and check on me, and he came on my lunch break to work on my finger just like he did at home.
Everyday, three times a day I got a hot soak (like 140 degrees) with iodine, then pressure was applied. Within a week my hand was back to normal. All day in and out, I continually off and on gave thanks for my healing. Now its been three weeks, I have a small spot that looks like it's been sunburned with a little knot underneath, and a occasionaly itching. YHVH heals!!Praise be to HIM forever and ever. Amen
I don't have the money for a doctor. I want to see YHVH healing power...and I have. When you pray to HIM, there is no medical politics...there is yes and amen.
