YHWH is faithful and just and kind and merciful. He is generous to those who seek him and trust him and obey him.
My wife recently flew down to South Carolina to see her blood family before she's too far along in the pregnancy. I was unable to go along as I had other responsibilities I couldn't not pull away from at this time.
She doesn't normally mind flying, but her last experience, about a year ago, was frightful, but ended up landing safely. Now that she is pregnant, and becuase I would not be with her, I could tell she was a bit nervous about flying.
I layed hands on her and prayed that YHWH would graciously protect her and Yoshi'Yahu from any evil or harm. I asked HIM to "clear the skies, make a smoot path without turbulance and anoint the pilots to operate wisely and adeptly."
She arrived in South Carolina and called and sure enough, YHWH had cleared the path. She said it was the smoothest plane ride she had ever experienced, that there was literally no hint of turbulance or a rough ride. HalleluYah!
Then, the day before she flew back, she called and said the forecasters said there would be storms all the way from South Carolina to Ohio, all day long. Of course, the big jets fly above the storms, but they have to go through them when taking off and landing, which can be very rough riding and is one cause of crashes. I told her, "YHWH will clear the path for you, fear not."
I prayed for her that night. That day, as they boarded the plane, it was storming and the pilot told them the normal procedure and metioned that until they get over the storm, the stewardesses would be sitting and buckled in, so no service until completely over the storm. Well, Kathy, encouraged by the first time and repeating what I told her said, "YHWH, I thank you that you will make a clear path for us."
Well, they took off and began to climb. The went through the storm and arrived over it. Amazingly, their was not a bump in the ride! Kathy was sitting near where a stewardess station was and saw one looking amazed and bewildered, like "where is the turbulance???"
On this end, I had prayed the storms would cease until she landed. Sure enough, YHWH heard my petition and answered. She landed at 4:10 PM, with clear blue skies, though it was supposed to be storming according to the weather men. But, less than 1 hour after she landed, as we arrived home from the Dayton International Airport, it did begin to rain, but no severe storming. HalleluYah!
And that is not all. On the way to pick her up from the airport, just past 1-70 and 1-75 crossover, a car had caught fire and blown up. No kidding! I was comming up to the location with a lot of other traffic and saw a bright orange flame up ahead and dark black smoke rising up in their air. I immediately began to intercede - apparantly no emergency vehicles had arrived yet but the traffic had to come to a stop and I was about 1/4 mile from the burning vehicle. I prayed that the ministering spirits assigned to me would go forth and assist in ways I couldn't, that no one would be hurt, that YHWH would be very merciful to all involved. As the emergency vehicles began to screem past in the right emergency lane, I prayed that they be assisted by ministering spirits to do their work to quickly get the fire under control and get us moving, as I started to the airport early to make sure I wasn't late, but this was certainly cutting it close.
It was amazing how quickly they got it taken care of and as we drove by in the left two lanes I could see the car was completely destroyed, even the metal was warped badly. The char mark on the pavement went out to the middle lane (the care was in the emergency lane near the grace on the right) and their was debri all around the car that had been blown out. Amazingly, the mother and 3 children that it belonged to were sitting about 100-150 feet away in perfectly good condition. No one was harmed! HalleluYah! And I got to the airport just after Kathy landed, about 2 miniutes, and was able to get to her luggage and be waiting for her so we could leave. It was perfect timing!
Concerning weather, about 2 years ago, I was driving in Lynchburg, VA and going about 50 mph down a highway in the city. Suddenly a white wall of rain came upon me, quicker than I could react. I couldn't see a thing and was going 50! I slowly applied the brake so as not to lock up the brakes, and did my best to keep the wheel straight, as the highway their was straight for at least 300 yards. While I was slowing down, it rose up in my spirit to speak to the storm. I would have never thought of that, as I don't have the power to deal with a storm. But it was the Ruach who was inspiring the utterance. "Cease and be calm!" I tell you the truth, the Ruach cleared it up immediately. The sunshine actually came back out and I drove home safely. There were reports of tornados all over the area of Virginia at that time but not one touched Lynchburg, especially staying far from the West side we lived on. Our apartment hardly saw a drop of rain that day! Until then and to this date, I have never seen such a thing. But, I will never forget it!
Our El is AWESOME! HalleluYah! He is the same yesterday, today, and forever! Amen!
